³⁶ Et Abigaïl revint vers Nabal, et voici, il faisait dans sa maison un festin comme un festin de roi, et le coeur de Nabal était joyeux et il était complètement ivre ; elle ne lui dit rien, ni peu, ni beaucoup, jusqu'au lever du jour.
³⁷ Et au matin, quand l'ivresse de Nabal fut passée, sa femme lui raconta ces choses, et son coeur fut mortellement frappé au-dedans de lui et il devint comme une pierre.
³⁸ Et environ dix jours après, l'Eternel frappa Nabal, et il mourut.

³⁶ And Abigail came to Nabal; and, behold, he held a feast in his house, like the feast of a king; and Nabal's heart was merry within him, for he was very drunken: wherefore she told him nothing, less or more, until the morning light.
³⁷ But it came to pass in the morning, when the wine was gone out of Nabal, and his wife had told him these things, that his heart died within him, and he became as a stone.
³⁸ And it came to pass about ten days after, that the LORD smote Nabal, that he died.

³⁶ Abigaïl arriva auprès de Nabal. Et voici, il faisait dans sa maison un festin comme un festin de roi ; il avait le coeur joyeux, et il était complètement dans l'ivresse. Elle ne lui dit aucune chose, petite ou grande, jusqu'à la lumière du matin.
³⁷ Mais le matin, l'ivresse de Nabal s'étant dissipée, sa femme lui raconta ce qui s'était passé. Le coeur de Nabal reçut un coup mortel, et devint comme une pierre.
³⁸ Environ dix jours après, l'Éternel frappa Nabal, et il mourut.
