¹ Le deuxième lot échut par le sort à Siméon, à la tribu des fils de Siméon, selon leurs familles, leur héritage fut au milieu de l'héritage des fils de Juda.
² Et ils eurent dans leur héritage : Béerséba, Séba, Molada,
³ Hatsar-Schual, Bala, Atsem,
⁴ El-Tholad, Béthul, Horma,
⁵ Tsiklag, Beth-Marcaboth, Hatsar-Susa,
⁶ Beth-Lébaoth, Saruhen : treize villes et leurs villages.
⁷ Aïn, Rimmon, Ether, Asan : quatre villes et leurs villages.
⁸ Tous les villages qui sont autour de ces villes, jusqu'à Baalath-Béer qui est la Ramath du midi. Tel fut l'héritage de la tribu des fils de Siméon, selon leurs familles.
⁹ L'héritage des fils de Siméon fut pris sur la portion des fils de Juda, car la portion des fils de Juda était trop grande pour eux, et les fils de Siméon eurent leur héritage au milieu du leur.
¹⁰ Le troisième lot échut par le sort aux fils de Zabulon, selon leurs familles. La frontière de leur héritage s'étendait jusqu'à Sarid.
¹¹ Elle montait vers l'occident et vers Maréala ; elle touchait à Dabbéseth et au torrent qui coule devant Joknéam.
¹² De Sarid elle tournait à l'orient vers le soleil levant jusqu'au territoire de Kisloth-Thabor ; elle se dirigeait vers Dabrath et montait à Japhia.
¹³ Et de là elle passait à l'orient vers le soleil levant à Gath-Hépher, Eth-Katsin, puis se dirigeait sur Rimmon, en se prolongeant jusqu'à Néa ;
¹⁴ et la frontière tournait au nord d'Hannathon et aboutissait à la vallée de Jiphthach-El.
¹⁵ Kattath, Nahalal, Simron, Jidéala et Beth-Léhem : douze villes et leurs villages.
¹⁶ Tel fut l'héritage des fils de Zabulon, selon leurs familles ; ces villes-là et leurs villages.
¹⁷ Le quatrième lot échut par le sort à Issacar, aux fils selon leurs familles.
¹⁸ Leur territoire était Jizréel, Késulloth, Sunem,
¹⁹ Hapharaïm, Sion, Anabarath,
²⁰ Rabbith, Kiséion, Abets,
²¹ Rémeth, En-Gannim, En-Hadda et Beth-Patsets.
²² La frontière touchait au Thabor, à Sahatsima et à Beth-Sémès, et elle aboutissait au Jourdain : seize villes et leurs villages.

²⁴ Le cinquième lot échut par le sort à la tribu des fils d'Asser, selon leurs familles.
²⁵ Leur territoire était Helkath, Hali, Béten, Acsaph,
²⁶ Allammélec, Améad, Miséal ; et la frontière touchait au Carmel à l'occident et à Sichor-Libnath,
²⁷ et elle tournait du côté du soleil levant vers Beth-Dagon, touchait à Zabulon et à la vallée de Jiphthach-El, au nord de Beth-Emek et de Néiel, et se dirigeait vers Caboul à gauche,
²⁸ Ebron, Réhob, Hammon et Kana, jusqu'à Sidon la grande.
²⁹ Elle tournait ensuite vers Rama jusqu'à la ville forte de Tyr et vers Hosa, et elle aboutissait à la mer, à partir du territoire d'Aczib.
³⁰ Umma, Aphek et Réhob : vingt-deux villes et leurs villages.
³¹ Tel fut l'héritage de la tribu des fils d'Asser, selon leurs familles ; ces villes-là et leurs villages.
³² Le sixième lot échut par le sort aux fils de Nephthali, selon leurs familles.
³³ Leur frontière allait depuis Héleph, à partir du chêne qui est à Tsaanannim, vers Adami-Nékeb et Jabnéel jusqu'à Lakkum et aboutissait au Jourdain.
³⁴ Elle tournait à l'occident vers Aznoth-Thabor, de là elle se dirigeait sur Hukkok, touchait à Zabulon au midi, à Asser à l'occident et à Juda [par] le Jourdain vers le soleil levant.
³⁵ Les villes fortes étaient Tsiddim, Tser, Hammath, Rakkath et Kinnéreth,
³⁶ Adama, Rama, Hatsor,
³⁷ Kédès, Edréi, En-Hatsor,
³⁸ Jiréon, Migdal-El, Horem, Beth-Anath et Beth-Sémès : dix-neuf villes et leurs villages.

⁴⁰ A la tribu des fils de Dan, selon leurs familles, échut par le sort le septième lot.
⁴¹ Le territoire de leur héritage était Tsoréa, Esthaol, Ir-Sémès,

⁴³ Elon, Thimnatha, Ekron,
⁴⁴ Elthéké, Guibbéthon, Baalath,
⁴⁵ Jud, Bené-Bérak, Gath-Rimmon,
⁴⁶ Mé-Jarkon, Rakkon avec le territoire vis-à-vis de Japho.
⁴⁷ Et le territoire des fils de Dan s'étendit au dehors, car les fils de Dan montèrent, attaquèrent Léschem et la prirent et la frappèrent, au tranchant de l'épée, et la possédèrent et y habitèrent : ils appelèrent Léschem Dan, du nom de Dan, leur père. ⁵⁰ Sur l'ordre de l'Eternel, ils lui donnèrent la ville qu'il avait demandée, Thimnath-Sérah, dans la montagne d'Ephraïm ; et il rebâtit la ville et y habita.
⁵¹ Tels furent les héritages que le sacrificateur Eléazar, Josué, fils de Nun et les chefs de famille des tribus des fils d'Israël répartirent par le sort, à Silo, devant l'Eternel, à l'entrée du Tabernacle d'assignation ; et ils achevèrent le partage du pays.

¹ And the second lot came forth to Simeon, even for the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families: and their inheritance was within the inheritance of the children of Judah.
² And they had in their inheritance Beersheba, and Sheba, and Moladah,
³ And Hazarshual, and Balah, and Azem,
⁴ And Eltolad, and Bethul, and Hormah,
⁵ And Ziklag, and Bethmarcaboth, and Hazarsusah,
⁶ And Bethlebaoth, and Sharuhen; thirteen cities and their villages:
⁷ Ain, Remmon, and Ether, and Ashan; four cities and their villages:
⁸ And all the villages that were round about these cities to Baalathbeer, Ramath of the south. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.
⁹ Out of the portion of the children of Judah was the inheritance of the children of Simeon: for the part of the children of Judah was too much for them: therefore the children of Simeon had their inheritance within the inheritance of them.
¹⁰ And the third lot came up for the children of Zebulun according to their families: and the border of their inheritance was unto Sarid:
¹¹ And their border went up toward the sea, and Maralah, and reached to Dabbasheth, and reached to the river that is before Jokneam;

²⁴ And the fifth lot came out for the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families.
²⁵ And their border was Helkath, and Hali, and Beten, and Achshaph,
²⁶ And Alammelech, and Amad, and Misheal; and reacheth to Carmel westward, and to Shihorlibnath;
²⁷ And turneth toward the sunrising to Bethdagon, and reacheth to Zebulun, and to the valley of Jiphthahel toward the north side of Bethemek, and Neiel, and goeth out to Cabul on the left hand,
²⁸ And Hebron, and Rehob, and Hammon, and Kanah, even unto great Zidon;
²⁹ And then the coast turneth to Ramah, and to the strong city Tyre; and the coast turneth to Hosah; and the outgoings thereof are at the sea from the coast to Achzib:
³⁰ Ummah also, and Aphek, and Rehob: twenty and two cities with their villages.
³¹ This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families, these cities with their villages.
³² The sixth lot came out to the children of Naphtali, even for the children of Naphtali according to their families.
³³ And their coast was from Heleph, from Allon to Zaanannim, and Adami, Nekeb, and Jabneel, unto Lakum; and the outgoings thereof were at Jordan:
³⁴ And then the coast turneth westward to Aznothtabor, and goeth out from thence to Hukkok, and reacheth to Zebulun on the south side, and reacheth to Asher on the west side, and to Judah upon Jordan toward the sunrising.
³⁵ And the fenced cities are Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath, and Chinnereth,
³⁶ And Adamah, and Ramah, and Hazor,
³⁷ And Kedesh, and Edrei, and Enhazor,
³⁸ And Iron, and Migdalel, Horem, and Bethanath, and Bethshemesh; nineteen cities with their villages.

⁴¹ And the coast of their inheritance was Zorah, and Eshtaol, and Irshemesh,
⁴² And Shaalabbin, and Ajalon, and Jethlah,
⁴³ And Elon, and Thimnathah, and Ekron,
⁴⁴ And Eltekeh, and Gibbethon, and Baalath,
⁴⁵ And Jehud, and Beneberak, and Gathrimmon,
⁴⁶ And Mejarkon, and Rakkon, with the border before Japho.
⁴⁷ And the coast of the children of Dan went out too little for them: therefore the children of Dan went up to fight against Leshem, and took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and possessed it, and dwelt therein, and called Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their father.
⁴⁸ This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families, these cities with their villages.
⁴⁹ When they had made an end of dividing the land for inheritance by their coasts, the children of Israel gave an inheritance to Joshua the son of Nun among them:
⁵⁰ According to the word of the LORD they gave him the city which he asked, even Timnathserah in mount Ephraim: and he built the city, and dwelt therein.
⁵¹ These are the inheritances, which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel, divided for an inheritance by lot in Shiloh before the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. So they made an end of dividing the country.

¹ La deuxième part fut attribuée par tirage au sort à Siméon, aux clans de la tribu de Siméon. Leur héritage était situé au milieu de celui des Judéens.
² Ils eurent dans leur héritage Beer-Shéba, Shéba, Molada,
³ Hatsar-Shual, Bala, Atsem,
⁴ Eltholad, Bethul, Horma,
⁵ Tsiklag, Beth-Marcaboth, Hatsar-Susa,
⁶ Beth-Lebaoth et Sharuchen, soit 13 villes avec leurs villages;
⁷ Aïn, Rimmon, Ether et Ashan, soit 4 villes avec leurs villages.
⁸ Ils eurent aussi tous les villages situés aux environs de ces villes jusqu'à Baalath-Beer, c'est-à-dire Ramath du sud. Tel fut l'héritage des clans de la tribu de Siméon.
⁹ L'héritage des Siméonites fut pris sur la portion des Judéens. En effet, la portion des Judéens était trop grande pour eux et c'est au milieu de leur héritage que les Siméonites reçurent le leur.

⁴⁷ Toutefois, le territoire des Danites dépassa ces limites. Les Danites montèrent et combattirent contre Léshem. Ils s'en emparèrent et la frappèrent du tranchant de l'épée. Ils en prirent possession, s'y installèrent et l'appelèrent Dan, du nom de leur ancêtre Dan.
⁴⁸ Tel fut l'héritage des clans de la tribu de Dan. C'étaient ces villes-là et leurs villages.
⁴⁹ Lorsqu'ils eurent fini de procéder au partage du pays d'après ses frontières, les Israélites donnèrent à Josué, fils de Nun, une possession au milieu d'eux.
⁵⁰ Conformément à l'ordre de l'Eternel, ils lui donnèrent la ville qu'il avait demandée: Thimnath-Sérach, dans la région montagneuse d'Ephraïm. Josué reconstruisit la ville et y habita.
⁵¹ Tels sont les héritages que le prêtre Eléazar, Josué, fils de Nun, et les chefs de famille des tribus israélites distribuèrent par tirage au sort devant l'Eternel à Silo, à l'entrée de la tente de la rencontre. Ils mirent ainsi un terme au partage du pays.
