¹ La seconde part échut par le sort à Siméon, à la tribu des fils de Siméon, selon leurs familles : leur héritage fut au milieu de l'héritage des fils de Juda.
² Ils eurent dans leur héritage : Bersabée, Sabée, Molada,
³ Haser-Sual, Bala, Asem,
⁴ Eltholad, Béthul, Harma,
⁵ Siceleg, Beth-Marchaboth, Hasersusa,
⁶ Beth-lebaoth et Sarohen : treize villes et leurs villages.
⁷ Aïn, Remmon, Athar et Asan, quatre villes et leurs villages ;
⁸ ainsi que tous les villages aux environs de ces villes, jusqu'à Baalath-Béer, qui est la Ramath du midi. ‒ Tel fut l'héritage de la tribu des fils de Siméon selon leurs familles.
⁹ L'héritage des fils de Siméon fut pris sur la portion des fils de Juda ; car la portion des fils de Juda était trop grande pour eux, et c'est au milieu de leur territoire que les fils de Siméon reçurent leur héritage.
¹⁰ La troisième part échut par le sort aux fils de Zabulon selon leurs familles ; la frontière de leur héritage s'étendait jusqu'à Sarid.
¹¹ Leur frontière montait vers l'occident, vers Mérala, touchait à Debbaseth, touchait au torrent qui coule devant Jéconam.
¹² De Sarid, elle revenait à l'orient, vers le soleil levant, jusqu'à la frontière de Céseleth-Thabor, aboutissait vers Dabereth et montait à Japhiré.
¹³ De là, elle passait, vers l'orient, vers le soleil levant à Geth-Hépher, à Thacasin, et aboutissait à Remmon, qui confine à Noa.
¹⁴ La frontière tournait du côté du nord vers Hanathon, et aboutissait à la vallée de Jephtahel.
¹⁵ Les villes étaient : Catheth, Naalol, Séméron, Jedala et Bethléhem : douze villes et leurs villages.
¹⁶ Tel fut l'héritage des fils de Zabulon, selon leurs familles : ces villes et leurs villages.
¹⁷ La quatrième part échut par le sort à Issachar, aux fils d'Issachar, selon leurs familles.
¹⁸ Leur frontière était Jezraël, Casaloth, Sunem,
¹⁹ Hapharaïm, Séon, Anaharath,
²⁰ Rabboth, Césion, Abès,
²¹ Ramèth, En-Gannim, En-Hadda et Beth-Phésès.
²² La frontière touchait à Thabor, à Séhésima et à Beth-Samès, et aboutissait au Jourdain : seize villes et leurs villages.
²³ Tel fut l'héritage de la tribu des fils d'Issachar, selon leurs familles : les villes et leurs villages.
²⁴ La cinquième part échut par le sort à la tribu des fils d'Aser, selon leurs familles.
²⁵ Leur frontière était Halcath, Chali,
²⁶ Béten, Axaph, Elmélech, Amaad et Messal ; elle touchait, vers l'occident, au Carmel et à Sihor-Labanath ; puis elle tournait vers Beth-Dagon,
²⁷ touchait Zabulon et la vallée de Jephtahel, au nord de Beth-Emec et de Néhiel, et aboutissait à Caboul,
²⁸ à gauche, et à Abran, Rohob, Hamon, et Cana, jusqu'à Sidon la Grande ;
²⁹ la frontière tournait ensuite vers Ramath jusqu'à la ville forte de Tyr et la frontière tournait vers Hosa, pour aboutir à la mer, près du distict d'Achziba ;
³⁰ de plus : Amma, Aphec et Rohob : vingt-deux villes et leurs villages.
³¹ ‒ Tel fut l'héritage de la tribu des fils d'Aser. Selon leurs familles : ces villes et leurs villages.
³² La sixième part échut par le sort aux fils de Nephthali, selon leurs familles.
³³ Leur frontière allait depuis Héleph, à partir du chêne qui est à Saananim, vers Adami-Néceb et Jebnaël, jusqu'à Lécum, et elle aboutissait au Jourdain ;
³⁴ la frontière tournait vers l'occident à Azanoth-Thabor, et de là aboutissait à Hucuca ; elle touchait à Zabulon au midi, à Aser à l'occident, et à Juda, près du Jourdain, vers le soleil levant.
³⁵ Les villes fortes étaient : Assédim, Ser, Emath, Reccath, Cénéreth,
³⁶ Edéma, Arama, Asor,
³⁷ Cédès, Edraï, En-Hasor,
³⁸ Jéron, Magdalel, Horem, Beth-Anath et Beth-Samès : dix-neuf villes et leurs villages.
³⁹ Tel fut l'héritage de la tribu des fils de Nephthali, selon leurs familles : les villes et leurs villages.
⁴⁰ La septième part échut par le sort à la tribu des fils de Dan, selon leurs familles.
⁴¹ La frontière de leur héritage comprenait Saraa, Esthaol, Hir-Sémès,
⁴² Sélébin, Ajalon, Jéthéla,
⁴³ Elon, Themna, Acron,
⁴⁴ Elthécé, Gebbéthon, Balaath,
⁴⁵ Jud, Bené-Barach, Geth-Remmon ;
⁴⁶ Mé-Jarcon et Arécon, avec le territoire vis-à-vis de Joppé.
⁴⁷ Le territoire des fils de Dan s'étendit au dehors de chez eux ; car les fils de Dan montèrent et combattirent contre Lésem ; ils s'en emparèrent et la frappèrent du tranchant de l'épée ; en ayant pris possession, ils s'y établirent, et l'appellèrent Dan, du nom de Dan, leur père.
⁴⁸ Tel fut l'héritage de la tribu des fils de Dan, selon leurs familles : les villes et leurs villages.
⁴⁹ Lorsqu'ils eurent achevé de faire le partage du pays, selon ses limites, les enfants d'Israël donnèrent à Josué, fils de Nun, un héritage au milieu d'eux.
⁵⁰ Sur l'ordre de Yahweh, ils lui donnèrent la ville qu'il demanda, Thamnath-Saré, dans la montagne d'Éphraïm. Josué rebâtit cette ville et il y demeura.
⁵¹ Tels sont les héritages que le prêtre Éléazar, Josué, fils de Nun, et les chefs de famille des tribus des enfants d'Israël répartirent par le sort à Silo, devant Yahweh, à l'entrée de la tente de réunion. Ils achevèrent ainsi le partage du pays.

¹ And the second lot came forth to Simeon, even for the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families: and their inheritance was within the inheritance of the children of Judah.
² And they had in their inheritance Beersheba, and Sheba, and Moladah,
³ And Hazarshual, and Balah, and Azem,
⁴ And Eltolad, and Bethul, and Hormah,
⁵ And Ziklag, and Bethmarcaboth, and Hazarsusah,
⁶ And Bethlebaoth, and Sharuhen; thirteen cities and their villages:
⁷ Ain, Remmon, and Ether, and Ashan; four cities and their villages:
⁸ And all the villages that were round about these cities to Baalathbeer, Ramath of the south. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.
⁹ Out of the portion of the children of Judah was the inheritance of the children of Simeon: for the part of the children of Judah was too much for them: therefore the children of Simeon had their inheritance within the inheritance of them.
¹⁰ And the third lot came up for the children of Zebulun according to their families: and the border of their inheritance was unto Sarid:
¹¹ And their border went up toward the sea, and Maralah, and reached to Dabbasheth, and reached to the river that is before Jokneam;
¹² And turned from Sarid eastward toward the sunrising unto the border of Chislothtabor, and then goeth out to Daberath, and goeth up to Japhia,
¹³ And from thence passeth on along on the east to Gittahhepher, to Ittahkazin, and goeth out to Remmonmethoar to Neah;
¹⁴ And the border compasseth it on the north side to Hannathon: and the outgoings thereof are in the valley of Jiphthahel:
¹⁵ And Kattath, and Nahallal, and Shimron, and Idalah, and Bethlehem: twelve cities with their villages.
¹⁶ This is the inheritance of the children of Zebulun according to their families, these cities with their villages.
¹⁷ And the fourth lot came out to Issachar, for the children of Issachar according to their families.
¹⁸ And their border was toward Jezreel, and Chesulloth, and Shunem,
¹⁹ And Haphraim, and Shihon, and Anaharath,
²⁰ And Rabbith, and Kishion, and Abez,
²¹ And Remeth, and Engannim, and Enhaddah, and Bethpazzez;
²² And the coast reacheth to Tabor, and Shahazimah, and Bethshemesh; and the outgoings of their border were at Jordan: sixteen cities with their villages.
²³ This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Issachar according to their families, the cities and their villages.
²⁴ And the fifth lot came out for the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families.
²⁵ And their border was Helkath, and Hali, and Beten, and Achshaph,
²⁶ And Alammelech, and Amad, and Misheal; and reacheth to Carmel westward, and to Shihorlibnath;
²⁷ And turneth toward the sunrising to Bethdagon, and reacheth to Zebulun, and to the valley of Jiphthahel toward the north side of Bethemek, and Neiel, and goeth out to Cabul on the left hand,
²⁸ And Hebron, and Rehob, and Hammon, and Kanah, even unto great Zidon;
²⁹ And then the coast turneth to Ramah, and to the strong city Tyre; and the coast turneth to Hosah; and the outgoings thereof are at the sea from the coast to Achzib:
³⁰ Ummah also, and Aphek, and Rehob: twenty and two cities with their villages.
³¹ This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families, these cities with their villages.
³² The sixth lot came out to the children of Naphtali, even for the children of Naphtali according to their families.
³³ And their coast was from Heleph, from Allon to Zaanannim, and Adami, Nekeb, and Jabneel, unto Lakum; and the outgoings thereof were at Jordan:
³⁴ And then the coast turneth westward to Aznothtabor, and goeth out from thence to Hukkok, and reacheth to Zebulun on the south side, and reacheth to Asher on the west side, and to Judah upon Jordan toward the sunrising.
³⁵ And the fenced cities are Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath, and Chinnereth,
³⁶ And Adamah, and Ramah, and Hazor,
³⁷ And Kedesh, and Edrei, and Enhazor,
³⁸ And Iron, and Migdalel, Horem, and Bethanath, and Bethshemesh; nineteen cities with their villages.
³⁹ This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Naphtali according to their families, the cities and their villages.
⁴⁰ And the seventh lot came out for the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families.
⁴¹ And the coast of their inheritance was Zorah, and Eshtaol, and Irshemesh,
⁴² And Shaalabbin, and Ajalon, and Jethlah,
⁴³ And Elon, and Thimnathah, and Ekron,
⁴⁴ And Eltekeh, and Gibbethon, and Baalath,
⁴⁵ And Jehud, and Beneberak, and Gathrimmon,
⁴⁶ And Mejarkon, and Rakkon, with the border before Japho.
⁴⁷ And the coast of the children of Dan went out too little for them: therefore the children of Dan went up to fight against Leshem, and took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and possessed it, and dwelt therein, and called Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their father.
⁴⁸ This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families, these cities with their villages.
⁴⁹ When they had made an end of dividing the land for inheritance by their coasts, the children of Israel gave an inheritance to Joshua the son of Nun among them:
⁵⁰ According to the word of the LORD they gave him the city which he asked, even Timnathserah in mount Ephraim: and he built the city, and dwelt therein.
⁵¹ These are the inheritances, which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel, divided for an inheritance by lot in Shiloh before the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. So they made an end of dividing the country.

Le lot de Siméon, de Zabulon, d'Issacar, d'Aser, de Nephtali, de Dan, et de Josué.

¹ Le deuxième sort échut à Siméon, pour la Tribu des enfants de Siméon selon leurs familles, et leur héritage fut parmi l'héritage des enfants de Juda.
² Et ils eurent dans leur héritage Béer-sebah, Sebah, Molada,
³ Hatsar-suhal, Bala, Hetsem,
⁴ Eltolad, Bethul, Horma,
⁵ Tsiklag, Beth-marcaboth, Hatsar-susa,
⁶ Beth-lebaoth et Saruhen ; treize villes et leurs villages.
⁷ Hajin, Rimmon, Hether, et Hasan ; quatre villes et leurs villages.
⁸ Et tous les villages qui étaient autour de ces villes-là jusqu'à Balath-béer, qui est Rama du Midi. Tel fut l'héritage de la Tribu des enfants de Siméon, selon leurs familles.
⁹ L'héritage des enfants de Siméon fut pris du lot des enfants de Juda ; car la part des enfants de Juda était trop grande pour eux ; c'est pourquoi les enfants de Siméon eurent leur héritage parmi le leur.
¹⁰ Le troisième sort monta pour les enfants de Zabulon, selon leurs familles ; et la frontière de leur héritage fut jusqu'à Sarid.
¹¹ Et leur frontière devait monter vers le quartier devers la mer, même jusqu'à Marhala, puis se rencontrer à Dabbeseth, et de là au torrent qui est vis-à-vis de Jokneham.
¹² Or [cette frontière] devait retourner de Sarid vers l'Orient, au soleil levant vers les confins de Kislothtabor, puis sortir vers Dabrath, et monter à Japhiah ;
¹³ Puis de là passer vers l'Orient, au Levant, à Guitta-hépher qui est Hittakatsin, puis sortir, à Rimmon-Methoar, qui est Neha.
¹⁴ Puis cette frontière devait tourner du côté du Septentrion à Hannathon ; et ses extrémités devaient se rendre en la vallée de Jiphtahel.
¹⁵ Avec Kattath, Nahalal, Simron, Jidéala, et Beth-lehem ; il y avait douze villes, et leurs villages.
¹⁶ Tel fut l'héritage des enfants de Zabulon selon leurs familles ; ces villes-là, et leurs villages.
¹⁷ Le quatrième sort échut à Issacar, pour les enfants d'Issacar, selon leurs familles.
¹⁸ Et leur contrée fut ce qui est vers Jizrehel, Kesulloth, Sunem,
¹⁹ Hapharjim, Sion, Anaharath,
²⁰ Rabbith, Kisjon, Ebets,
²¹ Remeth, Hen-gannim, Hen-hadda et Beth-patsets.
²² Et la frontière se devait rencontrer à Tabor et vers Sabatsim, et à Beth-semes ; tellement que les extrémités de leur frontière se devaient rendre au Jourdain ; seize villes, et leurs villages.
²³ Tel fut l'héritage de la Tribu des enfants d'Issacar, selon leurs familles, ces villes-là, et leurs villages.
²⁴ Le cinquième sort échut à la Tribu des enfants d'Aser, selon leurs familles.
²⁵ Et leur frontière fut Helkath, Hali, Beten, Acsaph,
²⁶ Alammélec, Hamhad et Miséal ; et elle se devait rencontrer à Carmel, [au quartier] vers la mer, et à Sihor vers Benath.
²⁷ Puis elle devait retourner vers le soleil levant, à Beth-dagon, et se rencontrer en Zabulon, et à la vallée de Jiphtahel vers le Septentrion, [et à] Beth-hemek et Nehiel ; puis sortir à main gauche vers Cabul.
²⁸ Et Hébron, et Rehob, et Hammon, et Cana, jusqu'à Sidon la grande.
²⁹ Puis la frontière devait retourner à Rama, même jusqu'à Tsor, ville forte ; puis cette frontière devait retourner à Hosa ; tellement que ses extrémités, se devaient rendre au quartier qui est vers la mer, depuis la portion tirant vers Aczib ;
³⁰ Avec Hummah, et Aphek, et Rehob ; vingt-deux villes, et leurs villages.
³¹ Tel fut l'héritage de la Tribu des enfants d'Aser, selon leurs familles ; ces villes-là et leurs villages.
³² Le sixième sort échut aux enfants de Nephthali, pour les enfants de Nephthali, selon leurs familles.
³³ Et leur frontière fut depuis Heleph, [et] depuis Allon à Tsahannim, et Adami-nekeb, et Jabnéel jusqu'à Lakkum, tellement que ses extrémités se devaient rendre au Jourdain.
³⁴ Puis cette frontière devait retourner du côté d'Occident, vers Aznoth-Tabor, et sortir de là à Hukkok ; tellement que du côté du Midi elle devait se rencontrer en Zabulon, et du côté d'Occident elle devait se rencontrer en Aser. Or jusqu'en Juda le Jourdain [était au] soleil levant.
³⁵ Au reste, les villes closes étaient Tsiddim, Tser, Hammath, Rakkath, Kinnereth,
³⁶ Adama, Rama, Hatsor,
³⁷ Kédès, Edréhi, Hen-Hatsor,
³⁸ Jireon, Migdal-el, Harem, Beth-hanath et Beth-semes ; dix-neuf villes et leurs villages.

⁴³ Elon, Timnatha, Hekron,
⁴⁴ Elteké, Guibbethon, Bahalath,
⁴⁵ Jehud, Bené-berak, Gath-rimmon,
⁴⁶ Me-jarkon, et Rakkon, avec les limites qui sont vis-à-vis de Japho.
⁴⁷ Or la contrée qui était échue aux enfants de Dan, était [trop petite] pour eux ; c'est pourquoi les enfants de Dan montèrent, et combattirent contre Lesem, et la prirent, et la frappèrent au tranchant de l'épée, et la possédèrent, et y habitèrent ; et ils appelèrent Lesem, Dan, du nom de Dan leur père.
⁴⁸ Tel fut l'héritage de la Tribu des enfants de Dan selon leurs familles ; ces villes-là, et leurs villages.
⁴⁹ Au reste après qu'on eut achevé de partager le pays selon ses confins, les enfants d'Israël donnèrent un héritage parmi eux à Josué fils de Nun.
⁵⁰ Selon le commandement de l'Eternel ; ils lui donnèrent la ville qu'il demanda ; [savoir] Timnath-sérah en la montagne d'Ephraïm ; et il bâtit la ville, et y habita.
⁵¹ Ce sont là les héritages qu'Eléazar le Sacrificateur, et Josué, fils de Nun, et les chefs des pères des Tribus des enfants d'Israël partagèrent par sort en Silo, devant l'Eternel, à l'entrée du Tabernacle d'assignation, et ils achevèrent [ainsi] de partager le pays.
