³ Le bouclier de ses guerriers est peint en rouge, ses hommes d'armes sont vêtus d'écarlate ; au jour où il arme, l'acier des chars étincelle et les lances s'agitent.
⁴ Dans les rues les chars roulent avec furie, dans les places ils se devancent à l'envi. On croit voir courir des flammes, des éclairs.
