Ph 2:1-11 (Catholique Crampon)

¹ Si donc il est quelque encouragement dans le Christ, s'il est quelque consolation de charité, s'il est quelque communauté d'esprit, s'il est quelque tendresse et quelque compassion, ² rendez ma joie parfaite : ayez une même pensée, un même amour, une même âme, un même sentiment. ³ Ne faites rien par esprit de rivalité ou par vaine gloire ; mais que chacun, en toute humilité, regarde les autres comme au-dessus de soi ; ⁴ chacun ayant égard, non à ses propres intérêts, mais à ceux des autres. ⁵ Ayez en vous les mêmes sentiments dont était animé le Christ Jésus : ⁶ bien qu'il fût dans la condition de Dieu, il n'a pas retenu avidement son égalité avec Dieu ; ⁷ mais il s'est anéanti lui-même, en prenant la condition d'esclave, en se rendant semblable aux hommes, et reconnu pour homme par tout ce qui a paru de lui ; ⁸ il s'est abaissé lui-même, se faisant obéissant jusqu'à la mort, et à la mort de la croix. ⁹ C'est pourquoi aussi Dieu l'a souverainement élevé, et lui a donné le nom qui est au-dessus de tout nom, ¹⁰ afin qu'au nom de Jésus tout genou fléchisse dans les cieux, sur la terre et dans les enfers, ¹¹ et que toute langue confesse, à la gloire de Dieu le Père, que Jésus-Christ est Seigneur.

   ¹ If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, ² Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. ³ Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. ⁴ Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. ⁵ Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: ⁶ Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: ⁷ But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: ⁸ And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. ⁹ Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: ¹⁰ That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; ¹¹ And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
