Ps 113 (King James)

¹ Praise ye the LORD. Praise, O ye servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD.
² Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore.
³ From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD's name is to be praised.
⁴ The LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.
⁵ Who is like unto the LORD our God, who dwelleth on high,
⁶ Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!
⁷ He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;
⁸ That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.
⁹ He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the LORD.

Exhortation à célébrer les louanges de Dieu.

¹ Louez l'Eternel.

Louez, vous serviteurs de l'Eternel, louez le Nom de l’Eternel.
² Le Nom de l’Eternel soit béni dès maintenant et à toujours.
³ Le Nom de l’Eternel est digne de louange depuis le soleil levant jusqu’au soleil couchant.
⁴ L'Eternel est élevé par-dessus toutes les nations, sa gloire est par-dessus les cieux.
⁵ Qui est semblable à l'Eternel notre Dieu, lequel habite aux lieux très-hauts ?
⁶ Lequel s'abaisse pour regarder aux cieux, et en la terre.
⁷ Lequel relève l'affligé de la poudre, et retire le pauvre de dessus le fumier,
⁸ Pour le faire asseoir avec les principaux, avec les principaux, [dis-je], de son peuple ;
⁹ Lequel donne une famille à la femme qui était stérile, [la rendant] mère d'enfants, [et] joyeuse. Louez l'Eternel.
