¹ L'Eternel règne que la terre tressaille de joie, Que toutes les îles se réjouissent !
² La nuée et l'obscurité l'environnent, La justice et le jugement sont la base de son trône,
³ Le feu marche devant lui Et consume ses ennemis tout à l'entour.
⁴ Ses éclairs illuminent le monde ; La terre le voit et tremble ;
⁵ Les montagnes se fondent comme de la cire devant l'Eternel, Devant le Seigneur de toute la terre.
⁶ Les cieux annoncent sa justice, Et tous les peuples voient sa gloire.
⁷ Ils sont confus, tous ceux qui servent les images, Qui se font gloire des idoles. Adorez-le, tous les dieux !
⁸ Sion l'entend et se réjouit, Les filles de Juda tressaillent d'allégresse, A cause de tes jugements, ô Eternel !
⁹ Car toi, Eternel, tu es le Très-Haut sur toute la terre, Haut élevé par dessus tous les dieux.
¹⁰ Vous qui aimez l'Eternel, haïssez le mal ! Il garde les âmes de ses bien-aimés, Il les délivre de la main des méchants.
¹¹ La lumière est semée pour le juste Et la joie pour ceux qui ont le coeur droit.
¹² Justes, réjouissez-vous en l'Eternel, Et célébrez la mémoire de sa sainteté.

¹ The LORD reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.
² Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne.
³ A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about.
⁴ His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled.
⁵ The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.
⁶ The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.
⁷ Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: worship him, all ye gods.
⁸ Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of thy judgments, O LORD.
⁹ For thou, LORD, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods.

¹ Psalmus ipsi David. [Cantate Domino canticum novum, quia mirabilia fecit. Salvavit sibi dextera ejus, et brachium sanctum ejus.
² Notum fecit Dominus salutare suum ; in conspectu gentium revelavit justitiam suam.
³ Recordatus est misericordiæ suæ, et veritatis suæ domui Israël. Viderunt omnes termini terræ salutare Dei nostri.
⁴ Jubilate Deo, omnis terra ; cantate, et exsultate, et psallite.
