Dt 26 (Catholique Crampon)

¹ Lorsque tu seras entré dans le pays que Yahweh, ton Dieu, te donne pour héritage, que tu en auras pris possession et y seras établi,
² tu prendras une part des prémices de tous les produits du sol que tu auras retirés de ton pays, que te donne Yahweh, ton Dieu, et, l'ayant mise dans une corbeille, tu iras au lieu que Yahweh, ton Dieu, aura choisi pour y faire habiter son nom.
³ Tu te présenteras au prêtre alors en fonction, et tu lui diras : "Je déclare aujourd'hui à Yahweh, ton Dieu, que je suis entré dans le pays que Yahweh a juré à nos pères de nous donner."
⁴ Le prêtre recevra la corbeille de ta main et la déposera devant l'autel de Yahweh, ton Dieu.
⁵ Et prenant de nouveau la parole, tu diras devant Yahweh, ton Dieu : "mon père était un Araméen prêt à périr ; il descendit en Égypte avec peu de gens et y vécut en étranger ; là il devint une nation grande, puissante et nombreuse.
⁶ Les Égyptiens nous maltraitèrent, nous opprimèrent et nous imposèrent un dur servage.
⁷ Alors nous criâmes à Yahweh, le Dieu de nos pères, et Yahweh entendit notre voix et vit nos souffrances, notre misère et notre oppression.
⁸ Et Yahweh nous fit sortir d'Égypte, avec une main forte et le bras étendu, par une grande terreur, avec des signes et des prodiges.
⁹ Il nous a conduits dans ce lieu et il nous a donné ce pays, un pays où coulent le lait et le miel.
¹⁰ Et maintenant voici que j'apporte les prémices des produits du sol que vous m'avez donné, ô Yahweh." Tu les déposeras devant Yahweh, ton Dieu, et tu te prosterneras devant Yahweh, ton Dieu.
¹¹ Puis tu te réjouiras, avec le Lévite et avec l'étranger qui sera au milieu de toi de tous les biens que Yahweh, ton Dieu, t'a donnés, à toi et à ta maison.
¹² Lorsque tu auras achevé de lever toute la dîme de tes produits, la troisième année, l'année de la dîme, et que tu la donneras au lévite, à l'étranger, à l'orphelin et à la veuve, pour qu'ils la mangent dans tes portes et qu'ils se rassasient, tu diras devant Yahweh, ton Dieu :
¹³ "J'ai ôté de ma maison ce qui est consacré, et je l'ai donné au Lévite, à l'étranger, à l'orphelin et à la veuve, selon tous vos préceptes que vous m'avez donnés ; je n'ai transgressé ni oublié aucun de vos préceptes.
¹⁴ Je n'ai pas mangé de ces choses pendant mon deuil, je n'en ai rien transporté hors de ma maison dans l'état d'impureté, et je n'en ai rien donné à l'occasion d'un mort ; j'ai obéi à la voix de Yahweh, mon Dieu, j'ai agi selon tout ce vous m'avez prescrit.
¹⁵ Regardez de votre demeure sainte, du ciel, et bénissez votre peuple d'Israël et le sol que vous nous avez donné, comme vous l'avez juré à nos pères, ce pays où coulent le lait et le miel."
¹⁶ Aujourd'hui Yahweh, ton Dieu, te commande de mettre en pratique ces lois et ces ordonnances ; tu les observeras et les mettras en pratique de tout ton coeur et de toute ton âme.
¹⁷ Tu as fait déclarer aujourd'hui à Yahweh qu'il sera ton Dieu, toi t'engageant de ton côté à marcher dans ses voies, à observer ses lois, ses commandements et ses ordonnances, et à obéir à sa voix.
¹⁸ Et Yahweh t'a fait déclarer aujourd'hui que tu lui serais un peuple particulier, comme il te l'a dit, observant tous ses commandements,
¹⁹ lui s'engageant de son côté à te donner la supériorité sur toutes les nations qu'il a faites, en gloire, en renom et en splendeur, en sorte que tu sois un peuple saint à Yahweh, ton Dieu, comme il l'a dit."

¹ And it shall be, when thou art come in unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, and possessest it, and dwellest therein;
² That thou shalt take of the first of all the fruit of the earth, which thou shalt bring of thy land that the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt put it in a basket, and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to place his name there.
³ And thou shalt go unto the priest that shall be in those days, and say unto him, I profess this day unto the LORD thy God, that I am come unto the country which the LORD sware unto our fathers for to give us.
⁴ And the priest shall take the basket out of thine hand, and set it down before the altar of the LORD thy God.
⁵ And thou shalt speak and say before the LORD thy God, A Syrian ready to perish was my father, and he went down into Egypt, and sojourned there with a few, and became there a nation, great, mighty, and populous:
⁶ And the Egyptians evil entreated us, and afflicted us, and laid upon us hard bondage:
⁷ And when we cried unto the LORD God of our fathers, the LORD heard our voice, and looked on our affliction, and our labour, and our oppression:
⁸ And the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terribleness, and with signs, and with wonders:
⁹ And he hath brought us into this place, and hath given us this land, even a land that floweth with milk and honey.
¹⁰ And now, behold, I have brought the firstfruits of the land, which thou, O LORD, hast given me. And thou shalt set it before the LORD thy God, and worship before the LORD thy God:
¹¹ And thou shalt rejoice in every good thing which the LORD thy God hath given unto thee, and unto thine house, thou, and the Levite, and the stranger that is among you.
¹² When thou hast made an end of tithing all the tithes of thine increase the third year, which is the year of tithing, and hast given it unto the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled;
¹³ Then thou shalt say before the LORD thy God, I have brought away the hallowed things out of mine house, and also have given them unto the Levite, and unto the stranger, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all thy commandments which thou hast commanded me: I have not transgressed thy commandments, neither have I forgotten them.
¹⁴ I have not eaten thereof in my mourning, neither have I taken away ought thereof for any unclean use, nor given ought thereof for the dead: but I have hearkened to the voice of the LORD my God, and have done according to all that thou hast commanded me.
¹⁵ Look down from thy holy habitation, from heaven, and bless thy people Israel, and the land which thou hast given us, as thou swarest unto our fathers, a land that floweth with milk and honey.
¹⁶ This day the LORD thy God hath commanded thee to do these statutes and judgments: thou shalt therefore keep and do them with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.
¹⁷ Thou hast avouched the LORD this day to be thy God, and to walk in his ways, and to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and to hearken unto his voice:
¹⁸ And the LORD hath avouched thee this day to be his peculiar people, as he hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all his commandments;
¹⁹ And to make thee high above all nations which he hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honour; and that thou mayest be an holy people unto the LORD thy God, as he hath spoken.

Des prémices des fruits et des dîmes.

¹ Quand tu seras entré au pays que l'Eternel ton Dieu te donne en héritage, et que tu le posséderas et y demeureras ;
² Alors tu prendras des prémices de tous les fruits de la terre, et tu les apporteras du pays que l'Eternel ton Dieu te donne, et les ayant mis dans une corbeille, tu iras au lieu que l'Eternel ton Dieu aura choisi pour y faire habiter son Nom.
³ Et tu viendras vers le Sacrificateur qui sera en ce temps-là, et lui diras : Je déclare aujourd'hui devant l'Eternel ton Dieu, que je suis parvenu au pays que l'Eternel avait juré à nos pères de nous donner.
⁴ Et le Sacrificateur prendra la corbeille de ta main, [et] la posera devant l'autel de l'Eternel ton Dieu.
⁵ Puis tu prendras la parole, et diras devant l'Eternel ton Dieu : Mon père était un pauvre misérable Syrien ; il descendit en Egypte avec un petit nombre de gens ; il y séjourna, et y devint une nation grande, puissante, et nombreuse.
⁶ Puis les Egyptiens nous maltraitèrent, nous affligèrent, et nous imposèrent une dure servitude.
⁷ Et nous criâmes à l'Eternel le Dieu de nos pères ; et l'Eternel exauça notre voix, et regarda notre affliction, notre travail, et notre oppression,
⁸ Et nous tira hors d'Egypte à main forte, et avec un bras étendu, avec une grande frayeur, et avec des signes et des miracles.
⁹ Depuis il nous mena en ce lieu-ci, et nous donna ce pays, qui est un pays découlant de lait et de miel.
¹⁰ Maintenant donc voici, j'ai apporté les prémices des fruits de la terre que tu m'as donnée, ô Eternel ! Ainsi tu poseras la corbeille devant l'Eternel ton Dieu, et te prosterneras devant l'Eternel ton Dieu.
¹¹ Et tu te réjouiras de tout le bien que l'Eternel ton Dieu t'aura donné, et à ta maison, toi et le Lévite, et l'étranger qui sera au milieu de toi.
¹² Quand tu auras achevé de lever toutes les dîmes de ton revenu en la troisième année, qui est l'année des dîmes, tu les donneras au Lévite, à l'étranger, à l'orphelin, et à la veuve ; ils en mangeront dans les lieux de ta demeure, et ils en seront rassasiés.
¹³ Et tu diras en la présence de l'Eternel ton Dieu : J'ai emporté de [ma] maison ce qui était sacré, et je l'ai donné au Lévite, à l'étranger, à l'orphelin, et à la veuve, selon tous tes commandements que tu m'as prescrits ; je n'ai rien transgressé de tes commandements, et je ne les ai point oubliés.
¹⁴ Je n'en ai point mangé dans mon affliction, et je n'en ai rien ôté pour l'appliquer à quelque usage souillé, et n'en ai point donné pour un mort ; j'ai obéi à la voix de l'Eternel ton Dieu ; j'ai fait selon tout ce que tu m'avais commandé.
¹⁵ Regarde de ta sainte demeure, [regarde] des cieux, et bénis ton peuple d'Israël, et la terre que tu nous as donnée, comme tu avais juré à nos pères, qui est un pays découlant de lait et de miel.
¹⁶ Aujourd'hui l'Eternel ton Dieu te commande de faire ces statuts et ces droits. Prends donc garde de les faire de tout ton cœur, et de toute ton âme.
¹⁷ Tu as aujourd'hui exigé de l'Eternel qu'il te soit Dieu, et tu [as promis] que tu marcheras dans ses voies, et que tu garderas ses statuts, ses commandements et ses ordonnances, et que tu obéiras à sa voix.
¹⁸ Aussi l'Eternel a exigé aujourd'hui de toi, que tu lui sois un peuple précieux ; comme il t'[en] a parlé, et que tu gardes tous ses commandements.
¹⁹ Et il te rendra haut élevé, par-dessus toutes les nations qu'il a créées, [pour être] en louange, en renom, et en gloire ; et tu seras un peuple saint à l'Eternel ton Dieu, ainsi qu'il [en] a parlé.
