¹ Psaume d'Asaph. Dieu se tient dans l'assemblée de Dieu, Il juge au milieu des dieux.
² Jusques à quand jugerez-vous avec perversité Et aurez-vous égard à la personne des méchants ? (Jeu d'instruments.)
³ Faites droit au petit et à l'orphelin ; Rendez la justice au misérable et au pauvre.
⁴ Délivrez le petit et l'indigent, Sauvez-le de la main des méchants !
⁵ Ils n'ont ni connaissance, ni intelligence, Ils marchent dans les ténèbres ; Tous les fondements de la terre sont ébranlés...
⁶ J'avais dit : Vous êtes des dieux, Vous êtes tous fils du Très-Haut...
⁷ Néanmoins vous mourrez comme des hommes, Vous tomberez comme tout autre chef !
⁸ Lève-toi, ô Dieu, juge la terre ! Car c'est toi qui dois avoir en partage toutes les nations.

¹ God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.
² How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.
³ Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.
⁴ Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
⁵ They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.
⁶ I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
⁷ But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
⁸ Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.
