BAN ⁴ Et Saül dit a son écuyer : Tire ton épée et transperce-m'en, de peur que ces incirconcis ne viennent et ne m'outragent. Et son écuyer ne le voulut pas faire, car il était saisi de crainte ; et Saül prit son épée et se jeta dessus.

KJV ⁴ Then said Saul to his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore afraid. So Saul took a sword, and fell upon it.

BAN ¹³ Et Saül mourut à cause de l'infidélité qu'il avait commise envers l'Eternel, au sujet de la parole de l'Eternel qu'il n'avait pas observée, et aussi parce qu'il consulta ceux qui évoquent les morts, afin d'obtenir un oracle.
