WLC ²⁴ וַיִּשְׁחָטוּם֙ הַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים וַֽיְחַטְּא֤וּ אֶת־ דָּמָם֙ הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חָה לְכַפֵּ֖ר עַל־ כָּל־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל כִּ֤י לְכָל־ יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ אָמַ֣ר הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ הָעוֹלָ֖ה וְהַחַטָּֽאת׃

KJV ²⁵ And he set the Levites in the house of the LORD with cymbals, with psalteries, and with harps, according to the commandment of David, and of Gad the king's seer, and Nathan the prophet: for so was the commandment of the LORD by his prophets.

MAR ²⁵ Il fit aussi que les Lévites se tinssent en la maison de l'Eternel, avec des cymbales, des musettes, et des violons, selon le commandement de David, et de Gad le Voyant du Roi, et de Nathan le Prophète ; car ce commandement [avait été donné] de la part de l'Eternel, par ses Prophètes.

NEG ²⁵ Il fit placer les Lévites dans la maison de l'Eternel avec des cymbales, des luths et des harpes, selon l'ordre de David, de Gad, le voyant du roi, et de Nathan, le prophète; car c'était un ordre de l'Eternel, transmis par ses prophètes.

WLC ²⁵ וַיַּֽעֲמֵ֨ד אֶת־ הַלְוִיִּ֜ם בֵּ֣ית יְהוָ֗ה בִּמְצִלְתַּ֙יִם֙ בִּנְבָלִ֣ים וּבְכִנֹּר֔וֹת בְּמִצְוַ֥ת דָּוִ֛יד וְגָ֥ד חֹזֵֽה־ הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ וְנָתָ֣ן הַנָּבִ֑יא כִּ֧י בְיַד־ יְהוָ֛ה הַמִּצְוָ֖ה בְּיַד־ נְבִיאָֽיו׃

KJV ²⁶ And the Levites stood with the instruments of David, and the priests with the trumpets.

KJV ²⁷ And Hezekiah commanded to offer the burnt offering upon the altar. And when the burnt offering began, the song of the LORD began also with the trumpets, and with the instruments ordained by David king of Israel.

KJV ²⁸ And all the congregation worshipped, and the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded: and all this continued until the burnt offering was finished.

KJV ²⁹ And when they had made an end of offering, the king and all that were present with him bowed themselves, and worshipped.

KJV ³⁰ Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praise unto the LORD with the words of David, and of Asaph the seer. And they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshipped.

KJV ³¹ Then Hezekiah answered and said, Now ye have consecrated yourselves unto the LORD, come near and bring sacrifices and thank offerings into the house of the LORD. And the congregation brought in sacrifices and thank offerings; and as many as were of a free heart burnt offerings.

MAR ³¹ Alors Ezéchias prit la parole, et dit : Vous avez maintenant consacré vos mains à l'Eternel, approchez-vous, et offrez des sacrifices, et des louanges dans la maison de l'Eternel. Et ainsi l'assemblée offrit des sacrifices et des louanges, et tous ceux qui étaient d'un coeur volontaire [offrirent] des holocaustes.

NEG ³¹ Ezéchias prit alors la parole et dit: Maintenant que vous êtes consacrés à l'Eternel, approchez-vous, amenez des victimes et offrez des sacrifices d'actions de grâces à la maison de l'Eternel. Et l'assemblée amena des victimes et offrit des sacrifices d'actions de grâces, et tous ceux dont le cœur était bien disposé offrirent des holocaustes.

WLC ³¹ וַיַּ֨עַן יְחִזְקִיָּ֜הוּ וַיֹּ֗אמֶר עַתָּ֨ה מִלֵּאתֶ֤ם יֶדְכֶם֙ לַיהוָ֔ה גֹּ֧שׁוּ וְהָבִ֛יאוּ זְבָחִ֥ים וְתוֹד֖וֹת לְבֵ֣ית יְהוָ֑ה וַיָּבִ֤יאוּ הַקָּהָל֙ זְבָחִ֣ים וְתוֹד֔וֹת וְכָל־ נְדִ֥יב לֵ֖ב עֹלֽוֹת׃

KJV ³² And the number of the burnt offerings, which the congregation brought, was threescore and ten bullocks, an hundred rams, and two hundred lambs: all these were for a burnt offering to the LORD.

MAR ³² Or le nombre des holocaustes que l'assemblée offrit, fut de soixante-dix boeufs, cent moutons, deux cents agneaux, le tout en holocauste à l'Eternel.

KJV ³³ And the consecrated things were six hundred oxen and three thousand sheep.

KJV ³⁴ But the priests were too few, so that they could not flay all the burnt offerings: wherefore their brethren the Levites did help them, till the work was ended, and until the other priests had sanctified themselves: for the Levites were more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the priests.

MAR ³⁴ Mais les Sacrificateurs étaient en petit nombre, de sorte qu'ils ne purent pas écorcher tous les holocaustes ; c'est pourquoi les Lévites leurs frères les aidèrent, jusqu'à ce que cet ouvrage fût achevé, et que les [autres] Sacrificateurs se fussent sanctifiés ; parce que les Lévites [furent] d'un coeur plus droit que les Sacrificateurs, pour se sanctifier.

NEG ³⁴ Mais les sacrificateurs étaient en petit nombre, et ils ne purent dépouiller tous les holocaustes; leurs frères, les Lévites, les aidèrent jusqu'à ce que l'ouvrage soit fini, et jusqu'à ce que les autres sacrificateurs se soient sanctifiés, car les Lévites avaient eu plus à cœur de se sanctifier que les sacrificateurs.

WLC ³⁴ רַ֤ק הַכֹּֽהֲנִים֙ הָי֣וּ לִמְעָ֔ט וְלֹ֣א יָֽכְל֔וּ לְהַפְשִׁ֖יט אֶת־ כָּל־ הָעֹל֑וֹת וַֽיְּחַזְּק֞וּם אֲחֵיהֶ֣ם הַלְוִיִּ֗ם עַד־ כְּל֤וֹת הַמְּלָאכָה֙ וְעַ֣ד יִתְקַדְּשׁ֣וּ הַכֹּֽהֲנִ֔ים כִּ֤י הַלְוִיִּם֙ יִשְׁרֵ֣י לֵבָ֔ב לְהִתְקַדֵּ֖שׁ מֵֽהַכֹּהֲנִֽים׃

KJV ³⁵ And also the burnt offerings were in abundance, with the fat of the peace offerings, and the drink offerings for every burnt offering. So the service of the house of the LORD was set in order.

MAR ³⁵ Et il y eut aussi un grand nombre d'holocaustes, avec les graisses des sacrifices de prospérités, et avec les aspersions des holocaustes. Ainsi le service de la maison de l'Eternel fut rétabli.

NEG ³⁵ Il y avait d'ailleurs beaucoup d'holocaustes, avec les graisses des sacrifices d'actions de grâces, et avec les libations des holocaustes. Ainsi fut rétabli le service de la maison de l'Eternel.

WLC ³⁵ וְגַם־ עֹלָ֨ה לָרֹ֜ב בְּחֶלְבֵ֧י הַשְּׁלָמִ֛ים וּבַנְּסָכִ֖ים לָעֹלָ֑ה וַתִּכּ֖וֹן עֲבוֹדַ֥ת בֵּית־ יְהוָֽה׃

KJV ³⁶ And Hezekiah rejoiced, and all the people, that God had prepared the people: for the thing was done suddenly.
