2P 3:10-13 (King James)

¹⁰ But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
   ¹¹ Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, ¹² Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? ¹³ Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

¹⁰ Or le jour du Seigneur viendra comme le larron dans la nuit, et en ce jour-là les cieux passeront avec un bruit sifflant de tempête, et les éléments seront dissous par l'ardeur [du feu], et la terre, et toutes les oeuvres qui [sont] en elle, brûleront entièrement.
   ¹¹ Puis donc que toutes ces choses se doivent dissoudre, quels vous faut-il être en saintes conversations, et en oeuvres de piété ? ¹² En attendant, et en hâtant [par vos désirs] la venue du jour de Dieu, par lequel les cieux étant enflammés seront dissous, et les éléments se fondront par l'ardeur [du feu]. ¹³ Mais nous attendons, selon sa promesse, de nouveaux cieux, et une nouvelle terre, où la justice habite.
