KJV ²⁰ But Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, said, Behold, my master hath spared Naaman this Syrian, in not receiving at his hands that which he brought: but, as the LORD liveth, I will run after him, and take somewhat of him.

MAR ²⁰ Alors Guéhazi, le serviteur d Elisée homme de Dieu, dit : Voici, mon maître a refusé de prendre de la main de Naaman Syrien aucune chose de tout ce qu'il avait apporté, l'Eternel est vivant, que je courrai après lui, et que je prendrai quelque chose de lui.

VULC ²⁰ Dixitque Giezi puer viri Dei : Pepercit dominus meus Naaman Syro isti, ut non acciperet ab eo quæ attulit : vivit Dominus, quia curram post eum, et accipiam ab eo aliquid.

WLC ²⁰ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר גֵּיחֲזִ֗י נַעַר֮ אֱלִישָׁ֣ע אִישׁ־ הָאֱלֹהִים֒ הִנֵּ֣ה ׀ חָשַׂ֣ךְ אֲדֹנִ֗י אֶֽת־ נַעֲמָ֤ן הָֽאֲרַמִּי֙ הַזֶּ֔ה מִקַּ֥חַת מִיָּד֖וֹ אֵ֣ת אֲשֶׁר־ הֵבִ֑יא חַי־ יְהוָה֙ כִּֽי־ אִם־ רַ֣צְתִּי אַחֲרָ֔יו וְלָקַחְתִּ֥י מֵאִתּ֖וֹ מְאֽוּמָה׃

KJV ²¹ So Gehazi followed after Naaman. And when Naaman saw him running after him, he lighted down from the chariot to meet him, and said, Is all well?

MAR ²¹ Guéhazi donc courut après Naaman ; et Naaman le voyant courir après lui, se jeta hors de son chariot au-devant de lui, et [lui] dit : Tout va-t-il bien ?

VULC ²¹ Et secutus est Giezi post tergum Naaman : quem cum vidisset ille currentem ad se, desiliit de curru in occursum ejus, et ait : Rectene sunt omnia ?

WLC ²¹ וַיִּרְדֹּ֥ף גֵּיחֲזִ֖י אַחֲרֵ֣י נַֽעֲמָ֑ן וַיִּרְאֶ֤ה נַֽעֲמָן֙ רָ֣ץ אַחֲרָ֔יו וַיִּפֹּ֞ל מֵעַ֧ל הַמֶּרְכָּבָ֛ה לִקְרָאת֖וֹ וַיֹּ֥אמֶר הֲשָׁלֽוֹם׃

KJV ²² And he said, All is well. My master hath sent me, saying, Behold, even now there be come to me from mount Ephraim two young men of the sons of the prophets: give them, I pray thee, a talent of silver, and two changes of garments.

MAR ²² Et il répondit : Tout va bien. Mon maître m'a envoyé pour te dire : Voici, à cette heure deux jeunes hommes de la montagne d'Ephraïm sont venus vers moi, qui sont des fils des Prophètes ; je te prie donne-leur un talent d'argent ; et deux robes de rechange.

VULC ²² Et ille ait : Recte. Dominus meus misit me ad te dicens : Modo venerunt ad me duo adolescentes de monte Ephraim, ex filiis prophetarum : da eis talentum argenti, et vestes mutatorias duplices.

WLC ²² וַיֹּ֣אמֶר ׀ שָׁל֗וֹם אֲדֹנִי֮ שְׁלָחַ֣נִי לֵאמֹר֒ הִנֵּ֣ה עַתָּ֡ה זֶ֠ה בָּ֣אוּ אֵלַ֧י שְׁנֵֽי־ נְעָרִ֛ים מֵהַ֥ר אֶפְרַ֖יִם מִבְּנֵ֣י הַנְּבִיאִ֑ים תְּנָה־ נָּ֤א לָהֶם֙ כִּכַּר־ כֶּ֔סֶף וּשְׁתֵּ֖י חֲלִפ֥וֹת בְּגָדִֽים׃

KJV ²³ And Naaman said, Be content, take two talents. And he urged him, and bound two talents of silver in two bags, with two changes of garments, and laid them upon two of his servants; and they bare them before him.

MAR ²³ Et Naaman dit : Prends hardiment deux talents ; et il le pressa tant qu'on lia deux talents d'argent dans deux sacs ; [il lui donna] aussi deux robes de rechange ; et il les donna à deux de ses serviteurs qui les portèrent devant lui.

VULC ²³ Dixitque Naaman : Melius est ut accipias duo talenta. Et coëgit eum, ligavitque duo talenta argenti in duobus saccis, et duplicia vestimenta, et imposuit duobus pueris suis, qui et portaverunt coram eo.

WLC ²³ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר נַעֲמָ֔ן הוֹאֵ֖ל קַ֣ח כִּכָּרָ֑יִם וַיִּפְרָץ־ בּ֗וֹ וַיָּצַר֩ כִּכְּרַ֨יִם כֶּ֜סֶף בִּשְׁנֵ֣י חֲרִטִ֗ים וּשְׁתֵּי֙ חֲלִפ֣וֹת בְּגָדִ֔ים וַיִּתֵּן֙ אֶל־ שְׁנֵ֣י נְעָרָ֔יו וַיִּשְׂא֖וּ לְפָנָֽיו׃

KJV ²⁴ And when he came to the tower, he took them from their hand, and bestowed them in the house: and he let the men go, and they departed.

MAR ²⁴ Et quand il fut venu en un lieu secret, il le prit d'entre leurs mains, et le serra dans une maison, après quoi il renvoya ces gens-là, et ils s'en retournèrent.

VULC ²⁴ Cumque venisset jam vesperi, tulit de manu eorum, et reposuit in domo, dimisitque viros, et abierunt.

WLC ²⁴ וַיָּבֹא֙ אֶל־ הָעֹ֔פֶל וַיִּקַּ֥ח מִיָּדָ֖ם וַיִּפְקֹ֣ד בַּבָּ֑יִת וַיְשַׁלַּ֥ח אֶת־ הָאֲנָשִׁ֖ים וַיֵּלֵֽכוּ׃
