BCC ³ Car un temps viendra où (les hommes) ne supporteront pas la saine doctrine, mais au gré de leurs désirs se donneront une foule de maîtres, l'oreille leur démangeant,

KJV ³ For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

BCC ⁴ et ils détourneront l'oreille de la vérité pour se tourner vers les fables.

KJV ⁴ And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

BCC ⁵ Pour toi, sois sobre en toutes choses, endure la souffrance, fais oeuvre de prédicateur de l'Evangile, remplis pleinement ton ministère.

KJV ⁵ But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

BCC ⁶ Quant à moi, je suis déjà offert en sacrifice, et le moment de mon départ approche.

KJV ⁶ For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.

BCC ⁸ désormais m'est réservée la couronne de la justice, que m'accordera en ce jour-là le Seigneur, le juste Juge, et non seulement à moi, mais à tous ceux qui auront chéri son apparition.

KJV ⁸ Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

BCC ¹⁷ Le Seigneur, lui, m'a assisté et m'a fortifié afin que, par moi, la prédication fût pleinement donnée et que toutes les nations l'entendissent, et j'ai été sauvé de la gueule du lion.
