KJV ¹ Hear this word, ye kine of Bashan, that are in the mountain of Samaria, which oppress the poor, which crush the needy, which say to their masters, Bring, and let us drink.

S21 ¹ Ecoutez cette parole, vaches du Basan 
qui êtes sur la montagne de Samarie,
vous qui opprimez les faibles,
qui écrasez les pauvres
et qui dites à vos maris:
«Apportez à boire et buvons!»

WLC ¹ שִׁמְע֞וּ הַדָּבָ֣ר הַזֶּ֗ה פָּר֤וֹת הַבָּשָׁן֙ אֲשֶׁר֙ בְּהַ֣ר שֹֽׁמְר֔וֹן הָעֹשְׁק֣וֹת דַּלִּ֔ים הָרֹצְצ֖וֹת אֶבְיוֹנִ֑ים הָאֹמְרֹ֥ת לַאֲדֹֽנֵיהֶ֖ם הָבִ֥יאָה וְנִשְׁתֶּֽה׃

KJV ² The Lord GOD hath sworn by his holiness, that, lo, the days shall come upon you, that he will take you away with hooks, and your posterity with fishhooks.

S21 ² Le Seigneur, l'Eternel, l'a juré par sa sainteté:
Les jours viendront pour vous
où l'on vous enlèvera avec des crocs,
et vos enfants avec des hameçons.

WLC ² נִשְׁבַּ֨ע אֲדֹנָ֤י יְהוִה֙ בְּקָדְשׁ֔וֹ כִּ֛י הִנֵּ֥ה יָמִ֖ים בָּאִ֣ים עֲלֵיכֶ֑ם וְנִשָּׂ֤א אֶתְכֶם֙ בְּצִנּ֔וֹת וְאַחֲרִיתְכֶ֖ן בְּסִיר֥וֹת דּוּגָֽה׃

KJV ³ And ye shall go out at the breaches, every cow at that which is before her; and ye shall cast them into the palace, saith the LORD.

S21 ³ Vous sortirez par les brèches, chacune devant soi,
et vous serez jetées dans la forteresse, déclare l'Eternel.

WLC ³ וּפְרָצִ֥ים תֵּצֶ֖אנָה אִשָּׁ֣ה נֶגְדָּ֑הּ וְהִשְׁלַכְתֶּ֥נָה הַהַרְמ֖וֹנָה נְאֻם־ יְהוָֽה׃

KJV ⁴ Come to Bethel, and transgress; at Gilgal multiply transgression; and bring your sacrifices every morning, and your tithes after three years:

S21 ⁴ Allez à Béthel et péchez,
allez à Guilgal et péchez davantage!
Offrez vos sacrifices chaque matin,
et vos dîmes tous les trois jours.

WLC ⁴ בֹּ֤אוּ בֵֽית־ אֵל֙ וּפִשְׁע֔וּ הַגִּלְגָּ֖ל הַרְבּ֣וּ לִפְשֹׁ֑עַ וְהָבִ֤יאוּ לַבֹּ֙קֶר֙ זִבְחֵיכֶ֔ם לִשְׁלֹ֥שֶׁת יָמִ֖ים מַעְשְׂרֹֽתֵיכֶֽם׃

KJV ⁵ And offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving with leaven, and proclaim and publish the free offerings: for this liketh you, O ye children of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.

S21 ⁵ Offrez vos sacrifices de reconnaissance avec du levain!
Proclamez, annoncez vos offrandes volontaires!
C'est en effet cela que vous aimez, Israélites,
déclare le Seigneur, l'Eternel.

WLC ⁵ וְקַטֵּ֤ר מֵֽחָמֵץ֙ תּוֹדָ֔ה וְקִרְא֥וּ נְדָב֖וֹת הַשְׁמִ֑יעוּ כִּ֣י כֵ֤ן אֲהַבְתֶּם֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃

KJV ⁶ And I also have given you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and want of bread in all your places: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.

S21 ⁶ Moi, je vous ai envoyé la famine dans toutes vos villes,
le manque de pain dans toutes vos demeures.
Malgré cela, vous n'êtes pas revenus à moi, déclare l'Eternel.

WLC ⁶ וְגַם־ אֲנִי֩ נָתַ֨תִּי לָכֶ֜ם נִקְי֤וֹן שִׁנַּ֙יִם֙ בְּכָל־ עָ֣רֵיכֶ֔ם וְחֹ֣סֶר לֶ֔חֶם בְּכֹ֖ל מְקוֹמֹֽתֵיכֶ֑ם וְלֹֽא־ שַׁבְתֶּ֥ם עָדַ֖י נְאֻם־ יְהוָֽה׃

KJV ⁷ And also I have withholden the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest: and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered.

S21 ⁷ Je vous ai refusé la pluie
lorsqu'il y avait encore trois mois jusqu'à la moisson;
j'ai fait pleuvoir sur une ville
et je n'ai pas fait pleuvoir sur une autre;
un champ a reçu la pluie,
et un autre qui ne l'a pas reçue s'est desséché;

WLC ⁷ וְגַ֣ם אָנֹכִי֩ מָנַ֨עְתִּי מִכֶּ֜ם אֶת־ הַגֶּ֗שֶׁם בְּע֨וֹד שְׁלֹשָׁ֤ה חֳדָשִׁים֙ לַקָּצִ֔יר וְהִמְטַרְתִּי֙ עַל־ עִ֣יר אֶחָ֔ת וְעַל־ עִ֥יר אַחַ֖ת לֹ֣א אַמְטִ֑יר חֶלְקָ֤ה אַחַת֙ תִּמָּטֵ֔ר וְחֶלְקָ֛ה אֲשֶֽׁר־ לֹֽא־ תַמְטִ֥יר עָלֶ֖יהָ תִּיבָֽשׁ׃

KJV ⁸ So two or three cities wandered unto one city, to drink water; but they were not satisfied: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.

S21 ⁸ deux, trois villes sont allées vers une autre pour boire de l'eau,
et elles n'ont pas apaisé leur soif.

WLC ⁸ וְנָע֡וּ שְׁתַּיִם֩ שָׁלֹ֨שׁ עָרִ֜ים אֶל־ עִ֥יר אַחַ֛ת לִשְׁתּ֥וֹת מַ֖יִם וְלֹ֣א יִשְׂבָּ֑עוּ וְלֹֽא־ שַׁבְתֶּ֥ם עָדַ֖י נְאֻם־ יְהוָֽה׃

KJV ⁹ I have smitten you with blasting and mildew: when your gardens and your vineyards and your fig trees and your olive trees increased, the palmerworm devoured them: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.

S21 ⁹ Je vous ai frappés par la rouille et par la nielle;
vos nombreux jardins, vos vignes, vos figuiers et vos oliviers
ont été dévorés par les sauterelles.

WLC ⁹ הִכֵּ֣יתִי אֶתְכֶם֮ בַּשִּׁדָּפ֣וֹן וּבַיֵּרָקוֹן֒ הַרְבּ֨וֹת גַּנּוֹתֵיכֶ֧ם וְכַרְמֵיכֶ֛ם וּתְאֵנֵיכֶ֥ם וְזֵיתֵיכֶ֖ם יֹאכַ֣ל הַגָּזָ֑ם וְלֹֽא־ שַׁבְתֶּ֥ם עָדַ֖י נְאֻם־ יְהוָֽה׃

KJV ¹⁰ I have sent among you the pestilence after the manner of Egypt: your young men have I slain with the sword, and have taken away your horses; and I have made the stink of your camps to come up unto your nostrils: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.

S21 ¹⁰ J'ai envoyé parmi vous la peste comme en Egypte,
j'ai tué vos jeunes gens par l'épée
et laissé prendre vos chevaux;
j'ai fait monter à vos narines l'infection de votre camp.

WLC ¹⁰ שִׁלַּ֨חְתִּי בָכֶ֥ם דֶּ֙בֶר֙ בְּדֶ֣רֶךְ מִצְרַ֔יִם הָרַ֤גְתִּי בַחֶ֙רֶב֙ בַּח֣וּרֵיכֶ֔ם עִ֖ם שְׁבִ֣י סֽוּסֵיכֶ֑ם וָאַעֲלֶ֞ה בְּאֹ֤שׁ מַחֲנֵיכֶם֙ וּֽבְאַפְּכֶ֔ם וְלֹֽא־ שַׁבְתֶּ֥ם עָדַ֖י נְאֻם־ יְהוָֽה׃

KJV ¹¹ I have overthrown some of you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and ye were as a firebrand plucked out of the burning: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.

comme lors de la catastrophe dont Dieu a frappé Sodome et Gomorrhe
et vous avez été pareils à un bout de bois arraché de l'incendie.

WLC ¹¹ הָפַ֣כְתִּי בָכֶ֗ם כְּמַהְפֵּכַ֤ת אֱלֹהִים֙ אֶת־ סְדֹ֣ם וְאֶת־ עֲמֹרָ֔ה וַתִּהְי֕וּ כְּא֖וּד מֻצָּ֣ל מִשְׂרֵפָ֑ה וְלֹֽא־ שַׁבְתֶּ֥ם עָדַ֖י נְאֻם־ יְהוָֽה׃

KJV ¹² Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: and because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.

S21 ¹² C'est pourquoi je te traiterai de la même manière, Israël,
et puisque je te traiterai de la même manière,
prépare-toi à rencontrer ton Dieu, Israël!

WLC ¹² לָכֵ֕ן כֹּ֥ה אֶעֱשֶׂה־ לְּךָ֖ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל עֵ֚קֶב כִּֽי־ זֹ֣את אֶֽעֱשֶׂה־ לָּ֔ךְ הִכּ֥וֹן לִקְרַאת־ אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

KJV ¹³ For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought, that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, The LORD, The God of hosts, is his name.

S21 ¹³ En effet, c'est lui qui a formé les montagnes et créé le vent,
lui qui fait connaître à l'homme ses pensées,
qui change l'aurore en ténèbres
et qui marche sur les hauteurs de la terre.
Son nom est l'Eternel, le Dieu de l'univers.

WLC ¹³ כִּ֡י הִנֵּה֩ יוֹצֵ֨ר הָרִ֜ים וּבֹרֵ֣א ר֗וּחַ וּמַגִּ֤יד לְאָדָם֙ מַה־ שֵּׂח֔וֹ עֹשֵׂ֥ה שַׁ֙חַר֙ עֵיפָ֔ה וְדֹרֵ֖ךְ עַל־ בָּ֣מֳתֵי אָ֑רֶץ יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵֽי־ צְבָא֖וֹת שְׁמֽוֹ׃
