BAN ² Sulammith :
Mon bien-aimé est descendu à son jardin, aux parterres d'aromates, pour se repaître dans les jardins et pour cueillir des lis.

KJV ² My beloved is gone down into his garden, to the beds of spices, to feed in the gardens, and to gather lilies.

WLC ² דּוֹדִי֙ יָרַ֣ד לְגַנּ֔וֹ לַעֲרוּג֖וֹת הַבֹּ֑שֶׂם לִרְעוֹת֙ בַּגַּנִּ֔ים וְלִלְקֹ֖ט שֽׁוֹשַׁנִּֽים׃

BAN ³ Je suis à mon bien-aimé, et mon bien-aimé est à moi, lui qui paît parmi les lis.

KJV ³ I am my beloved's, and my beloved is mine: he feedeth among the lilies.

WLC ³ אֲנִ֤י לְדוֹדִי֙ וְדוֹדִ֣י לִ֔י הָרֹעֶ֖ה בַּשׁוֹשַׁנִּֽים׃

BAN ⁴ Salomon :
Tu es belle, mon amie, comme Thirtsa, agréable comme Jérusalem, redoutable comme des bataillons sous leurs bannières.

KJV ⁴ Thou art beautiful, O my love, as Tirzah, comely as Jerusalem, terrible as an army with banners.

WLC ⁴ יָפָ֨ה אַ֤תְּ רַעְיָתִי֙ כְּתִרְצָ֔ה נָאוָ֖ה כִּירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם אֲיֻמָּ֖ה כַּנִּדְגָּלֽוֹת׃

BAN ⁵ Détourne de moi tes yeux, car ils me troublent. Tes cheveux sont comme un troupeau de chèvres qui descendent de Galaad.

KJV ⁵ Turn away thine eyes from me, for they have overcome me: thy hair is as a flock of goats that appear from Gilead.

WLC ⁵ הָסֵ֤בִּי עֵינַ֙יִךְ֙ מִנֶּגְדִּ֔י שֶׁ֥הֵ֖ם הִרְהִיבֻ֑נִי שַׂעְרֵךְ֙ כְּעֵ֣דֶר הָֽעִזִּ֔ים שֶׁגָּלְשׁ֖וּ מִן־ הַגִּלְעָֽד׃

BAN ⁶ Tes dents sont comme un troupeau de brebis qui remontent du lavoir : toutes portent des jumeaux, et aucune n'est stérile.

KJV ⁶ Thy teeth are as a flock of sheep which go up from the washing, whereof every one beareth twins, and there is not one barren among them.

WLC ⁶ שִׁנַּ֙יִךְ֙ כְּעֵ֣דֶר הָֽרְחֵלִ֔ים שֶׁעָל֖וּ מִן־ הָרַחְצָ֑ה שֶׁכֻּלָּם֙ מַתְאִימ֔וֹת וְשַׁכֻּלָ֖ה אֵ֥ין בָּהֶֽם׃

BAN ⁷ Ta joue est comme une moitié de grenade, derrière ton voile.

KJV ⁷ As a piece of a pomegranate are thy temples within thy locks.

WLC ⁷ כְּפֶ֤לַח הָרִמּוֹן֙ רַקָּתֵ֔ךְ מִבַּ֖עַד לְצַמָּתֵֽךְ׃

BAN ⁸ Il y a là soixante reines et quatre-vingts concubines et des jeunes filles sans nombre.

KJV ⁸ There are threescore queens, and fourscore concubines, and virgins without number.

WLC ⁸ שִׁשִּׁ֥ים הֵ֙מָּה֙ מְּלָכ֔וֹת וּשְׁמֹנִ֖ים פִּֽילַגְשִׁ֑ים וַעֲלָמ֖וֹת אֵ֥ין מִסְפָּֽר׃

BAN ⁹ Une seule est ma colombe, ma parfaite, elle, l'unique de sa mère, la préférée de celle qui lui donna le jour. Les filles l'ont vue et l'ont dite heureuse ; les reines et les concubines [aussi], et elles l'ont louée.

KJV ⁹ My dove, my undefiled is but one; she is the only one of her mother, she is the choice one of her that bare her. The daughters saw her, and blessed her; yea, the queens and the concubines, and they praised her.

WLC ⁹ אַחַ֥ת הִיא֙ יוֹנָתִ֣י תַמָּתִ֔י אַחַ֥ת הִיא֙ לְאִמָּ֔הּ בָּרָ֥ה הִ֖יא לְיֽוֹלַדְתָּ֑הּ רָא֤וּהָ בָנוֹת֙ וַֽיְאַשְּׁר֔וּהָ מְלָכ֥וֹת וּפִֽילַגְשִׁ֖ים וַֽיְהַלְלֽוּהָ׃

BAN ¹⁰ Qui est celle-ci, qui apparaît comme l'aurore, belle comme la lune, pure comme le soleil, redoutable comme des bataillons sous leurs bannières ?

KJV ¹⁰ Who is she that looketh forth as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners?

WLC ¹⁰ מִי־ זֹ֥את הַנִּשְׁקָפָ֖ה כְּמוֹ־ שָׁ֑חַר יָפָ֣ה כַלְּבָנָ֗ה בָּרָה֙ כַּֽחַמָּ֔ה אֲיֻמָּ֖ה כַּנִּדְגָּלֽוֹת׃

BAN ¹¹ Sulammith :
J'étais descendue au jardin des noyers pour voir les jeunes pousses de la vallée, pour voir si la vigne bourgeonnait, si les grenadiers fleurissaient.

KJV ¹¹ I went down into the garden of nuts to see the fruits of the valley, and to see whether the vine flourished and the pomegranates budded.

WLC ¹¹ אֶל־ גִּנַּ֤ת אֱגוֹז֙ יָרַ֔דְתִּי לִרְא֖וֹת בְּאִבֵּ֣י הַנָּ֑חַל לִרְאוֹת֙ הֲפָֽרְחָ֣ה הַגֶּ֔פֶן הֵנֵ֖צוּ הָרִמֹּנִֽים׃

BAN ¹² Je ne sais pas comment mon âme m'a poussée vers les chariots d'un peuple de prince.

KJV ¹² Or ever I was aware, my soul made me like the chariots of Amminadib.

WLC ¹² לֹ֣א יָדַ֔עְתִּי נַפְשִׁ֣י שָׂמַ֔תְנִי מַרְכְּב֖וֹת עַמִּי־ נָדִֽיב׃

Reviens, reviens, ô la Sulammith ! Reviens, reviens, que nous te regardions !
Sulammith :
Que regardez-vous en la Sulammith ?
Les jeunes filles :
Comme une danse de Mahanaïm.

KJV ¹³ Return, return, O Shulamite; return, return, that we may look upon thee. What will ye see in the Shulamite? As it were the company of two armies.
