KJV ¹ And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

NEG ¹ En ce temps-là se lèvera Micaël, le grand chef, le défenseur des enfants de ton peuple; et ce sera une époque de détresse, telle qu'il n'y en a point eu de semblable depuis que les nations existent jusqu'à cette époque. En ce temps-là, ceux de ton peuple qui seront trouvés inscrits dans le livre seront sauvés.

VULC ¹ In tempore autem illo consurget Michaël princeps magnus, qui stat pro filiis populi tui : et veniet tempus quale non fuit ab eo ex quo gentes esse cœperunt usque ad tempus illud. Et in tempore illo salvabitur populus tuus, omnis qui inventus fuerit scriptus in libro.

WLC ¹ וּבָעֵ֣ת הַהִיא֩ יַעֲמֹ֨ד מִֽיכָאֵ֜ל הַשַּׂ֣ר הַגָּד֗וֹל הָעֹמֵד֮ עַל־ בְּנֵ֣י עַמֶּךָ֒ וְהָיְתָה֙ עֵ֣ת צָרָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֤ר לֹֽא־ נִהְיְתָה֙ מִֽהְי֣וֹת גּ֔וֹי עַ֖ד הָעֵ֣ת הַהִ֑יא וּבָעֵ֤ת הַהִיא֙ יִמָּלֵ֣ט עַמְּךָ֔ כָּל־ הַנִּמְצָ֖א כָּת֥וּב בַּסֵּֽפֶר׃

KJV ² And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

NEG ² Plusieurs de ceux qui dorment dans la poussière de la terre se réveilleront, les uns pour la vie éternelle, et les autres pour l'opprobre, pour la honte éternelle.

VULC ² Et multi de his qui dormiunt in terræ pulvere evigilabunt, alii in vitam æternam, et alii in opprobrium ut videant semper.

WLC ² וְרַבִּ֕ים מִיְּשֵׁנֵ֥י אַדְמַת־ עָפָ֖ר יָקִ֑יצוּ אֵ֚לֶּה לְחַיֵּ֣י עוֹלָ֔ם וְאֵ֥לֶּה לַחֲרָפ֖וֹת לְדִרְא֥וֹן עוֹלָֽם׃

KJV ³ And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

NEG ³ Ceux qui auront été intelligents brilleront comme la splendeur du ciel, et ceux qui auront enseigné la justice à la multitude brilleront comme les étoiles, à toujours et à perpétuité.

VULC ³ Qui autem docti fuerint, fulgebunt quasi splendor firmamenti : et qui ad justitiam erudiunt multos, quasi stellæ in perpetuas æternitates.

WLC ³ וְהַ֨מַּשְׂכִּלִ֔ים יַזְהִ֖רוּ כְּזֹ֣הַר הָרָקִ֑יעַ וּמַצְדִּיקֵי֙ הָֽרַבִּ֔ים כַּכּוֹכָבִ֖ים לְעוֹלָ֥ם וָעֶֽד׃

KJV ⁴ But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

NEG ⁴ Toi, Daniel, tiens secrètes ces paroles, et scelle le livre jusqu'au temps de la fin. Plusieurs alors le liront, et la connaissance augmentera.

VULC ⁴ Tu autem Daniel, claude sermones, et signa librum usque ad tempus statutum : plurimi pertransibunt, et multiplex erit scientia.

WLC ⁴ וְאַתָּ֣ה דָֽנִיֵּ֗אל סְתֹ֧ם הַדְּבָרִ֛ים וַחֲתֹ֥ם הַסֵּ֖פֶר עַד־ עֵ֣ת קֵ֑ץ יְשֹׁטְט֥וּ רַבִּ֖ים וְתִרְבֶּ֥ה הַדָּֽעַת׃

KJV ⁵ Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.

NEG ⁵ Et moi, Daniel, je regardai, et voici, deux autres hommes se tenaient debout, l'un en deçà du bord du fleuve, et l'autre au-delà du bord du fleuve.

VULC ⁵ Et vidi ego Daniel, et ecce quasi duo alii stabant : unus hinc super ripam fluminis, et alius inde ex altera ripa fluminis.

WLC ⁵ וְרָאִ֙יתִי֙ אֲנִ֣י דָנִיֵּ֔אל וְהִנֵּ֛ה שְׁנַ֥יִם אֲחֵרִ֖ים עֹמְדִ֑ים אֶחָ֥ד הֵ֙נָּה֙ לִשְׂפַ֣ת הַיְאֹ֔ר וְאֶחָ֥ד הֵ֖נָּה לִשְׂפַ֥ת הַיְאֹֽר׃

KJV ⁶ And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?

NEG ⁶ L'un d'eux dit à l'homme vêtu de lin, qui se tenait au-dessus des eaux du fleuve: Quand sera la fin de ces prodiges?

VULC ⁶ Et dixi viro qui erat indutus lineis, qui stabat super aquas fluminis : Usquequo finis horum mirabilium ?

WLC ⁶ וַיֹּ֗אמֶר לָאִישׁ֙ לְב֣וּשׁ הַבַּדִּ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר מִמַּ֖עַל לְמֵימֵ֣י הַיְאֹ֑ר עַד־ מָתַ֖י קֵ֥ץ הַפְּלָאֽוֹת׃

KJV ⁷ And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

NEG ⁷ Et j'entendis l'homme vêtu de lin, qui se tenait au-dessus des eaux du fleuve; il leva vers les cieux sa main droite et sa main gauche, et il jura par celui qui vit éternellement que ce sera dans un temps, des temps, et la moitié d'un temps, et que toutes ces choses finiront quand la force du peuple saint sera entièrement brisée.

VULC ⁷ Et audivi virum qui indutus erat lineis, qui stabat super aquas fluminis, cum elevasset dexteram et sinistram suam in cælum, et jurasset per viventem in æternum, quia in tempus, et tempora, et dimidium temporis. Et cum completa fuerit dispersio manus populi sancti, complebuntur universa hæc.

WLC ⁷ וָאֶשְׁמַ֞ע אֶת־ הָאִ֣ישׁ ׀ לְב֣וּשׁ הַבַּדִּ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֣ר מִמַּעַל֮ לְמֵימֵ֣י הַיְאֹר֒ וַיָּ֨רֶם יְמִינ֤וֹ וּשְׂמֹאלוֹ֙ אֶל־ הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם וַיִּשָּׁבַ֖ע בְּחֵ֣י הָעוֹלָ֑ם כִּי֩ לְמוֹעֵ֨ד מֽוֹעֲדִ֜ים וָחֵ֗צִי וּכְכַלּ֛וֹת נַפֵּ֥ץ יַד־ עַם־ קֹ֖דֶשׁ תִּכְלֶ֥ינָה כָל־ אֵֽלֶּה׃

KJV ⁸ And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?

NEG ⁸ J'entendis, mais je ne compris pas; et je dis: Mon seigneur, quelle sera l'issue de ces choses?

VULC ⁸ Et ego audivi, et non intellexi. Et dixi : Domine mi, quid erit post hæc ?

WLC ⁸ וַאֲנִ֥י שָׁמַ֖עְתִּי וְלֹ֣א אָבִ֑ין וָאֹ֣מְרָ֔ה אֲדֹנִ֕י מָ֥ה אַחֲרִ֖ית אֵֽלֶּה׃

KJV ⁹ And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

NEG ⁹ Il répondit: Va, Daniel, car ces paroles seront tenues secrètes et scellées jusqu'au temps de la fin.

VULC ⁹ Et ait : Vade, Daniel, quia clausi sunt signatique sermones usque ad præfinitum tempus.

WLC ⁹ וַיֹּ֖אמֶר לֵ֣ךְ דָּנִיֵּ֑אל כִּֽי־ סְתֻמִ֧ים וַחֲתֻמִ֛ים הַדְּבָרִ֖ים עַד־ עֵ֥ת קֵֽץ׃

KJV ¹⁰ Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

NEG ¹⁰ Plusieurs seront purifiés, blanchis et éprouvés; les méchants feront le mal et aucun des méchants ne comprendra, mais ceux qui auront de l'intelligence comprendront.

VULC ¹⁰ Eligentur, et dealbabuntur, et quasi ignis probabuntur multi : et impie agent impii, neque intelligent omnes impii : porro docti intelligent.

WLC ¹⁰ יִ֠תְבָּֽרֲרוּ וְיִֽתְלַבְּנ֤וּ וְיִצָּֽרְפוּ֙ רַבִּ֔ים וְהִרְשִׁ֣יעוּ רְשָׁעִ֔ים וְלֹ֥א יָבִ֖ינוּ כָּל־ רְשָׁעִ֑ים וְהַמַּשְׂכִּלִ֖ים יָבִֽינוּ׃

KJV ¹¹ And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

NEG ¹¹ Depuis le temps où cessera le sacrifice perpétuel, et où sera dressée l'abomination du dévastateur, il y aura mille deux cent quatre-vingt-dix jours.

VULC ¹¹ Et a tempore cum ablatum fuerit juge sacrificium, et posita fuerit abominatio in desolationem, dies mille ducenti nonaginta.

WLC ¹¹ וּמֵעֵת֙ הוּסַ֣ר הַתָּמִ֔יד וְלָתֵ֖ת שִׁקּ֣וּץ שֹׁמֵ֑ם יָמִ֕ים אֶ֖לֶף מָאתַ֥יִם וְתִשְׁעִֽים׃

KJV ¹² Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

NEG ¹² Heureux celui qui attendra, et qui arrivera jusqu'à mille trois cent trente-cinq jours!

VULC ¹² Beatus qui exspectat, et pervenit usque ad dies mille trecentos triginta quinque.

WLC ¹² אַשְׁרֵ֥י הַֽמְחַכֶּ֖ה וְיַגִּ֑יעַ לְיָמִ֕ים אֶ֕לֶף שְׁלֹ֥שׁ מֵא֖וֹת שְׁלֹשִׁ֥ים וַחֲמִשָּֽׁה׃

KJV ¹³ But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

NEG ¹³ Et toi, marche vers ta fin; tu te reposeras, et tu seras debout pour ton héritage à la fin des jours.

VULC ¹³ Tu autem vade ad præfinitum : et requiesces, et stabis in sorte tua in finem dierum.

WLC ¹³ וְאַתָּ֖ה לֵ֣ךְ לַקֵּ֑ץ וְתָנ֛וּחַ וְתַעֲמֹ֥ד לְגֹרָלְךָ֖ לְקֵ֥ץ הַיָּמִֽין׃
