KJV ² Ye shall utterly destroy all the places, wherein the nations which ye shall possess served their gods, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree:

KJV ³ And ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place.

KJV ⁴ Ye shall not do so unto the LORD your God.

KJV ⁵ But unto the place which the LORD your God shall choose out of all your tribes to put his name there, even unto his habitation shall ye seek, and thither thou shalt come:

OST ⁵ Mais vous rechercherez sa demeure, au lieu que l'Éternel votre Dieu aura choisi d'entre toutes vos tribus pour y mettre son nom; et c'est là que tu iras.

S21 ⁵ Au contraire, c'est à l'endroit que l'Eternel, votre Dieu, choisira parmi toutes vos tribus pour y placer son nom, pour y habiter, que vous le chercherez et que vous vous rendrez.

KJV ⁶ And thither ye shall bring your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and heave offerings of your hand, and your vows, and your freewill offerings, and the firstlings of your herds and of your flocks:

KJV ⁷ And there ye shall eat before the LORD your God, and ye shall rejoice in all that ye put your hand unto, ye and your households, wherein the LORD thy God hath blessed thee.

KJV ⁹ For ye are not as yet come to the rest and to the inheritance, which the LORD your God giveth you.

KJV ¹⁰ But when ye go over Jordan, and dwell in the land which the LORD your God giveth you to inherit, and when he giveth you rest from all your enemies round about, so that ye dwell in safety;

OST ¹⁰ Vous passerez donc le Jourdain, et vous habiterez au pays que l'Éternel votre Dieu vous donne en héritage. Et il vous donnera du repos, en vous garantissant de tous vos ennemis, tout autour; et vous habiterez en sécurité.

S21 ¹⁰ Mais vous allez passer le Jourdain et vous habiterez dans le pays dont l'Eternel, votre Dieu, vous accordera la possession. Il vous donnera du repos après vous avoir délivrés de tous vos ennemis qui vous entourent et vous vous établirez en sécurité.

KJV ¹¹ Then there shall be a place which the LORD your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there; thither shall ye bring all that I command you; your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye vow unto the LORD:

OST ¹¹ Alors, il y aura un lieu que l'Éternel votre Dieu choisira pour y faire habiter son nom; c'est là que vous apporterez tout ce que je vous commande, vos holocaustes, vos sacrifices, vos dîmes, l'oblation de vos mains, et toute offrande de choix pour les voeux que vous aurez voués à l'Éternel;

S21 ¹¹ Alors il y aura un endroit que l'Eternel, votre Dieu, choisira pour y faire résider son nom. C'est là que vous présenterez tout ce que je vous ordonne: vos holocaustes, vos sacrifices, vos dîmes, vos prélèvements et tout ce que vous aurez choisi d'offrir à l'Eternel pour accomplir vos vœux.

WLC ¹¹ וְהָיָ֣ה הַמָּק֗וֹם אֲשֶׁר־ יִבְחַר֩ יְהוָ֨ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֥ם בּוֹ֙ לְשַׁכֵּ֤ן שְׁמוֹ֙ שָׁ֔ם שָׁ֣מָּה תָבִ֔יאוּ אֵ֛ת כָּל־ אֲשֶׁ֥ר אָנֹכִ֖י מְצַוֶּ֣ה אֶתְכֶ֑ם עוֹלֹתֵיכֶ֣ם וְזִבְחֵיכֶ֗ם מַעְשְׂרֹֽתֵיכֶם֙ וּתְרֻמַ֣ת יֶדְכֶ֔ם וְכֹל֙ מִבְחַ֣ר נִדְרֵיכֶ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר תִּדְּר֖וּ לַֽיהוָֽה׃

KJV ¹² And ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God, ye, and your sons, and your daughters, and your menservants, and your maidservants, and the Levite that is within your gates; forasmuch as he hath no part nor inheritance with you.

OST ¹² Et vous vous réjouirez devant l'Éternel votre Dieu, vous, vos fils, vos filles, vos serviteurs et vos servantes, ainsi que le Lévite qui sera dans vos portes, car il n'a point de portion ni d'héritage avec vous.

S21 ¹² C'est là que vous vous réjouirez devant l'Eternel, votre Dieu, vous, vos fils et vos filles, vos esclaves et vos servantes, ainsi que le Lévite qui habitera dans ta ville. En effet, il n'a ni part ni héritage avec vous.

KJV ¹³ Take heed to thyself that thou offer not thy burnt offerings in every place that thou seest:

OST ¹⁵ Toutefois, tu pourras tuer et manger de la chair, selon tous tes désirs, dans toutes tes portes, selon la bénédiction que l'Éternel ton Dieu t'aura donnée; celui qui sera souillé et celui qui sera pur en mangeront, comme on mange du daim et du cerf.

S21 ¹⁵ »Néanmoins, chaque fois que tu en auras le désir, tu pourras tuer du bétail et manger de la viande dans toutes tes villes, en fonction des bénédictions que t'accordera l'Eternel, ton Dieu. La personne impure et la personne pure pourront en manger, tout comme on mange de la gazelle et du cerf.

KJV ¹⁸ But thou must eat them before the LORD thy God in the place which the LORD thy God shall choose, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates: and thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God in all that thou puttest thine hands unto.

OST ¹⁸ Mais tu les mangeras devant l'Éternel ton Dieu, au lieu que l'Éternel ton Dieu choisira, toi, ton fils, ta fille, ton serviteur et ta servante, et le Lévite qui est dans tes portes, et tu te réjouiras devant l'Éternel ton Dieu de tout ce à quoi tu auras mis la main.

S21 ¹⁸ C'est devant l'Eternel, ton Dieu, que tu les mangeras, à l'endroit que l'Eternel, ton Dieu, choisira, toi, ton fils et ta fille, ton serviteur et ta servante, ainsi que le Lévite qui habitera dans ta ville, et c'est devant l'Eternel, ton Dieu, que tu feras servir à ta joie tous les biens que tu posséderas.

KJV ¹⁹ Take heed to thyself that thou forsake not the Levite as long as thou livest upon the earth.

KJV ²⁰ When the LORD thy God shall enlarge thy border, as he hath promised thee, and thou shalt say, I will eat flesh, because thy soul longeth to eat flesh; thou mayest eat flesh, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after.

OST ²⁰ Quand l'Éternel ton Dieu aura élargi ta frontière, comme il t'en a parlé, et que tu diras: Je voudrais manger de la chair! parce que ton âme souhaitera de manger de la chair, tu pourras en manger selon tous tes désirs.

S21 ²⁰ »Lorsque l'Eternel, ton Dieu, aura élargi tes frontières, comme il te l'a promis, et que le désir de manger de la viande te fera dire: ‘Je voudrais manger de la viande!' tu pourras en manger selon ton désir.

KJV ²¹ If the place which the LORD thy God hath chosen to put his name there be too far from thee, then thou shalt kill of thy herd and of thy flock, which the LORD hath given thee, as I have commanded thee, and thou shalt eat in thy gates whatsoever thy soul lusteth after.

OST ²¹ Si le lieu que l'Éternel ton Dieu aura choisi pour y mettre son nom, est loin de toi, tu pourras tuer de ton gros ou de ton menu bétail que l'Éternel ton Dieu t'aura donné, comme je te l'ai commandé, et tu en mangeras dans tes portes, selon tous tes désirs.

S21 ²¹ Si l'endroit que l'Eternel, ton Dieu, aura choisi pour y placer son nom est loin de toi, tu pourras tuer du gros et du petit bétail, comme je te l'ai prescrit, et tu pourras en manger chez toi selon ton désir.

KJV ²² Even as the roebuck and the hart is eaten, so thou shalt eat them: the unclean and the clean shall eat of them alike.

OST ²² Tu en mangeras simplement comme on mange du daim et du cerf; celui qui sera souillé et celui qui sera pur en mangeront également.

KJV ²³ Only be sure that thou eat not the blood: for the blood is the life; and thou mayest not eat the life with the flesh.

KJV ³¹ Thou shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: for every abomination to the LORD, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods.

S21 ³¹ Tu n'agiras pas ainsi envers l'Eternel, ton Dieu. En effet, elles servaient leurs dieux en accomplissant toutes les pratiques abominables que l'Eternel déteste. Elles passaient même leurs fils et leurs filles au feu en l'honneur de leurs dieux.

WLC ³¹ לֹא־ תַעֲשֶׂ֣ה כֵ֔ן לַיהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ כִּי֩ כָּל־ תּוֹעֲבַ֨ת יְהוָ֜ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר שָׂנֵ֗א עָשׂוּ֙ לֵאלֹ֣הֵיהֶ֔ם כִּ֣י גַ֤ם אֶת־ בְּנֵיהֶם֙ וְאֶת־ בְּנֹ֣תֵיהֶ֔ם יִשְׂרְפ֥וּ בָאֵ֖שׁ לֵֽאלֹהֵיהֶֽם׃

KJV ³² What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.
