BAN ³ Et tu écriras sur elles toutes les paroles de cette loi, quand tu auras passé, afin que tu t'établisses dans le pays que l'Eternel ton Dieu te donne, pays découlant de lait et de miel, comme te l'a dit l'Eternel, le Dieu de tes pères.

KJV ³ And thou shalt write upon them all the words of this law, when thou art passed over, that thou mayest go in unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, a land that floweth with milk and honey; as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee.

VULC ³ ut possis in eis scribere omnia verba legis hujus, Jordane transmisso : ut introëas terram, quam Dominus Deus tuus dabit tibi, terram lacte et melle manantem, sicut juravit patribus tuis.

BAN ⁴ Quand donc vous aurez passé le Jourdain, vous dresserez sur le mont Ebal ces pierres au sujet desquelles je vous donne aujourd'hui cet ordre, et tu les enduiras de chaux.

KJV ⁴ Therefore it shall be when ye be gone over Jordan, that ye shall set up these stones, which I command you this day, in mount Ebal, and thou shalt plaister them with plaister.

VULC ⁴ Quando ergo transieritis Jordanem, erigite lapides, quos ego hodie præcipio vobis in monte Hebal, et lævigabis eos calce :

BAN ⁵ Et tu bâtiras là un autel à l'Eternel ton Dieu, un autel de pierres sur lesquelles tu ne porteras pas le fer.

KJV ⁵ And there shalt thou build an altar unto the LORD thy God, an altar of stones: thou shalt not lift up any iron tool upon them.

VULC ⁵ et ædificabis ibi altare Domino Deo tuo de lapidibus, quos ferrum non tetigit,

BAN ⁶ C'est en pierres brutes que tu bâtiras l'autel de l'Eternel ton Dieu, et tu offriras sur cet autel des holocaustes à l'Eternel ton Dieu.

KJV ⁶ Thou shalt build the altar of the LORD thy God of whole stones: and thou shalt offer burnt offerings thereon unto the LORD thy God:

VULC ⁶ et de saxis informibus et impolitis : et offeres super eo holocausta Domino Deo tuo,

BAN ⁷ Tu offriras aussi des sacrifices d'actions de grâces, et tu mangeras là et tu te réjouiras en présence de l'Eternel ton Dieu.

KJV ⁷ And thou shalt offer peace offerings, and shalt eat there, and rejoice before the LORD thy God.

VULC ⁷ et immolabis hostias pacificas, comedesque ibi, et epulaberis coram Domino Deo tuo.

BAN ⁸ Et tu écriras sur ces pierres toutes les paroles de cette loi bien distinctement.

KJV ⁸ And thou shalt write upon the stones all the words of this law very plainly.

VULC ⁸ Et scribes super lapides omnia verba legis hujus plane et lucide.

BAN ⁹ Et Moïse, avec les sacrificateurs lévitiques, parla ainsi à tout Israël : Fais silence et écoute, ô Israël ! En ce jour-ci tu es devenu le peuple de l'Eternel ton Dieu.

KJV ¹² These shall stand upon mount Gerizim to bless the people, when ye are come over Jordan; Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin:

VULC ¹² Hi stabunt ad benedicendum populo super montem Garizim, Jordane transmisso : Simeon, Levi, Judas, Issachar, Joseph, et Benjamin.

BAN ¹³ Et ceux-ci se tiendront sur le mont Ebal pour maudire : Ruben, Gad, Asser, Zabulon, Dan et Nephthali.

KJV ¹³ And these shall stand upon mount Ebal to curse; Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.

BAN ¹⁴ Et les Lévites prendront la parole et diront d'une voix haute à tout homme d'Israël :

KJV ¹⁵ Cursed be the man that maketh any graven or molten image, an abomination unto the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and putteth it in a secret place. And all the people shall answer and say, Amen.

BAN ²⁵ Maudit, celui qui reçoit un présent pour frapper une vie, verser un sang innocent ! Et tout le peuple dira : Amen !

KJV ²⁵ Cursed be he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen.

VULC ²⁵ Maledictus qui accipit munera, ut percutiat animam sanguinis innocentis : et dicet omnis populus : Amen.

BAN ²⁶ Maudit, quiconque ne maintient pas les paroles de cette loi, en les accomplissant ! Et tout le peuple dira : Amen !

KJV ²⁶ Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen.
