KJV ² My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass:

S21 ² Que mes instructions se déversent comme la pluie,
que ma parole tombe comme la rosée,
comme des ondées sur la verdure,
comme des gouttes d'eau sur l'herbe!

WLC ² יַעֲרֹ֤ף כַּמָּטָר֙ לִקְחִ֔י תִּזַּ֥ל כַּטַּ֖ל אִמְרָתִ֑י כִּשְׂעִירִ֣ם עֲלֵי־ דֶ֔שֶׁא וְכִרְבִיבִ֖ים עֲלֵי־ עֵֽשֶׂב׃

KJV ³ Because I will publish the name of the LORD: ascribe ye greatness unto our God.

S21 ³ Oui, je proclamerai le nom de l'Eternel.
Rendez gloire à notre Dieu!

WLC ³ כִּ֛י שֵׁ֥ם יְהוָ֖ה אֶקְרָ֑א הָב֥וּ גֹ֖דֶל לֵאלֹהֵֽינוּ׃

KJV ⁴ He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.

S21 ⁴ Il est le rocher. Ce qu'il accomplit est parfait,
car toutes ses voies sont justes.
C'est un Dieu fidèle et dépourvu d'injustice,
il est juste et droit.

WLC ⁴ הַצּוּר֙ תָּמִ֣ים פָּעֳל֔וֹ כִּ֥י כָל־ דְּרָכָ֖יו מִשְׁפָּ֑ט אֵ֤ל אֱמוּנָה֙ וְאֵ֣ין עָ֔וֶל צַדִּ֥יק וְיָשָׁ֖ר הֽוּא׃

KJV ⁵ They have corrupted themselves, their spot is not the spot of his children: they are a perverse and crooked generation.

S21 ⁵ S'ils se sont corrompus, ce n'est pas sa faute;
la honte en repose sur ses enfants,
cette génération fausse et tordue.

WLC ⁵ שִׁחֵ֥ת ל֛וֹ לֹ֖א בָּנָ֣יו מוּמָ֑ם דּ֥וֹר עִקֵּ֖שׁ וּפְתַלְתֹּֽל׃

KJV ⁶ Do ye thus requite the LORD, O foolish people and unwise? is not he thy father that hath bought thee? hath he not made thee, and established thee?

S21 ⁶ Est-ce l'Eternel que vous en rendrez responsable,
peuple fou et dépourvu de sagesse?
N'est-il pas ton père, ton maître?
N'est-ce pas lui qui t'a formé et qui t'a établi?

WLC ⁶ הֲ־ לַיְהוָה֙ תִּגְמְלוּ־ זֹ֔את עַ֥ם נָבָ֖ל וְלֹ֣א חָכָ֑ם הֲלוֹא־ הוּא֙ אָבִ֣יךָ קָּנֶ֔ךָ ה֥וּא עָֽשְׂךָ֖ וַֽיְכֹנְנֶֽךָ׃

KJV ⁷ Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask thy father, and he will shew thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee.

S21 ⁷ »Souviens-toi des jours d'autrefois,
passe en revue les années, génération par génération.
Interroge ton père et il te l'apprendra,
tes vieillards et ils te le diront:

WLC ⁷ זְכֹר֙ יְמ֣וֹת עוֹלָ֔ם בִּ֖ינוּ שְׁנ֣וֹת דּוֹר־ וָד֑וֹר שְׁאַ֤ל אָבִ֙יךָ֙ וְיַגֵּ֔דְךָ זְקֵנֶ֖יךָ וְיֹ֥אמְרוּ לָֽךְ׃

KJV ⁸ When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.

S21 ⁸ quand le Très-Haut a donné un héritage aux nations,
quand il a séparé les humains,
il a fixé les frontières des peuples
d'après le nombre des Israélites.

KJV ⁹ For the LORD's portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.

S21 ⁹ En effet, la part de l'Eternel, c'est son peuple,
Jacob est sa part d'héritage.

WLC ⁹ כִּ֛י חֵ֥לֶק יְהֹוָ֖ה עַמּ֑וֹ יַעֲקֹ֖ב חֶ֥בֶל נַחֲלָתֽוֹ׃

KJV ¹⁰ He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye.

S21 ¹⁰ Il l'a trouvé dans une région déserte,
dans un chaos rempli d'effroyables hurlements.
Il l'a entouré, il a pris soin de lui,
il l'a gardé comme la prunelle de son œil.

KJV ¹¹ As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings:

voltige sur ses petits,
déploie ses ailes, les prend
et les porte sur ses plumes.

KJV ¹² So the LORD alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him.

WLC ¹³ יַרְכִּבֵ֙הוּ֙ עַל־ אָ֔רֶץ וַיֹּאכַ֖ל תְּנוּבֹ֣ת שָׂדָ֑י וַיֵּנִקֵ֤הֽוּ דְבַשׁ֙ מִסֶּ֔לַע וְשֶׁ֖מֶן מֵחַלְמִ֥ישׁ צֽוּר׃

KJV ¹⁴ Butter of kine, and milk of sheep, with fat of lambs, and rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, with the fat of kidneys of wheat; and thou didst drink the pure blood of the grape.

S21 ¹⁴ le lait caillé des vaches et le lait des brebis,
avec la graisse des agneaux,
des béliers du Basan et des boucs,
avec la fleur du blé,
et tu as bu le sang du raisin, le vin.

KJV ¹⁵ But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.

Tu es devenu gras, épais, dodu!
Il a abandonné Dieu, son créateur,
il a méprisé le rocher de son salut.

WLC ¹⁵ וַיִּשְׁמַ֤ן יְשֻׁרוּן֙ וַיִּבְעָ֔ט שָׁמַ֖נְתָּ עָבִ֣יתָ כָּשִׂ֑יתָ וַיִּטֹּשׁ֙ אֱל֣וֹהַ עָשָׂ֔הוּ וַיְנַבֵּ֖ל צ֥וּר יְשֻׁעָתֽוֹ׃

KJV ¹⁶ They provoked him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they him to anger.

S21 ¹⁶ Ils ont excité sa jalousie par des dieux étrangers,
ils l'ont irrité par des pratiques abominables;

WLC ¹⁶ יַקְנִאֻ֖הוּ בְּזָרִ֑ים בְּתוֹעֵבֹ֖ת יַכְעִיסֻֽהוּ׃

KJV ¹⁷ They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not.

S21 ¹⁷ ils ont offert des sacrifices à des démons qui ne sont pas Dieu,
à des dieux qu'ils ne connaissaient pas,
des dieux nouveaux, apparus depuis peu,
et que vos ancêtres n'avaient pas craints.

KJV ¹⁸ Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee.

S21 ¹⁸ Tu as abandonné le rocher qui t'a donné naissance,
tu as oublié le Dieu qui t'a mis au monde.

WLC ¹⁸ צ֥וּר יְלָדְךָ֖ תֶּ֑שִׁי וַתִּשְׁכַּ֖ח אֵ֥ל מְחֹלְלֶֽךָ׃

KJV ¹⁹ And when the LORD saw it, he abhorred them, because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters.

S21 ¹⁹ »L'Eternel l'a vu et il s'est irrité,
indigné contre ses fils et ses filles.

WLC ¹⁹ וַיַּ֥רְא יְהוָ֖ה וַיִּנְאָ֑ץ מִכַּ֥עַס בָּנָ֖יו וּבְנֹתָֽיו׃

KJV ²⁰ And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith.

S21 ²⁰ Il a dit: ‘Je me cacherai à eux
et je verrai bien quelle sera leur fin,
car c'est une génération perverse,
ce sont des enfants infidèles.

WLC ²⁰ וַיֹּ֗אמֶר אַסְתִּ֤ירָה פָנַי֙ מֵהֶ֔ם אֶרְאֶ֖ה מָ֣ה אַחֲרִיתָ֑ם כִּ֣י ד֤וֹר תַּהְפֻּכֹת֙ הֵ֔מָּה בָּנִ֖ים לֹא־ אֵמֻ֥ן בָּֽם׃

KJV ²¹ They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.

S21 ²¹ Ils ont provoqué ma jalousie par ce qui n'est pas Dieu,
ils m'ont irrité par leurs idoles sans consistance.
Et moi, *je provoquerai leur jalousie par ce qui n'est pas un peuple,
je provoquerai leur irritation par une nation sans intelligence,

WLC ²¹ הֵ֚ם קִנְא֣וּנִי בְלֹא־ אֵ֔ל כִּעֲס֖וּנִי בְּהַבְלֵיהֶ֑ם וַאֲנִי֙ אַקְנִיאֵ֣ם בְּלֹא־ עָ֔ם בְּג֥וֹי נָבָ֖ל אַכְעִיסֵֽם׃

KJV ²² For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.

S21 ²² car le feu de ma colère s'est allumé
et il brûlera tout jusqu'au fond du séjour des morts.
Il dévorera la terre et ses produits,
il embrasera les fondements des montagnes.

WLC ²² כִּי־ אֵשׁ֙ קָדְחָ֣ה בְאַפִּ֔י וַתִּיקַ֖ד עַד־ שְׁא֣וֹל תַּחְתִּ֑ית וַתֹּ֤אכַל אֶ֙רֶץ֙ וִֽיבֻלָ֔הּ וַתְּלַהֵ֖ט מוֹסְדֵ֥י הָרִֽים׃

KJV ²³ I will heap mischiefs upon them; I will spend mine arrows upon them.

S21 ²³ J'accumulerai les malheurs sur eux,
je tirerai toutes mes flèches contre eux.

WLC ²³ אַסְפֶּ֥ה עָלֵ֖ימוֹ רָע֑וֹת חִצַּ֖י אֲכַלֶּה־ בָּֽם׃

KJV ²⁴ They shall be burnt with hunger, and devoured with burning heat, and with bitter destruction: I will also send the teeth of beasts upon them, with the poison of serpents of the dust.

S21 ²⁴ Ils seront desséchés par la faim,
consumés par la fièvre et par des maladies violentes.
J'enverrai parmi eux la dent des bêtes féroces
et le venin des serpents.

WLC ²⁴ מְזֵ֥י רָעָ֛ב וּלְחֻ֥מֵי רֶ֖שֶׁף וְקֶ֣טֶב מְרִירִ֑י וְשֶׁן־ בְּהֵמוֹת֙ אֲשַׁלַּח־ בָּ֔ם עִם־ חֲמַ֖ת זֹחֲלֵ֥י עָפָֽר׃

KJV ²⁵ The sword without, and terror within, shall destroy both the young man and the virgin, the suckling also with the man of gray hairs.

S21 ²⁵ Dehors leurs enfants mourront par l'épée,
et dedans par la terreur.
Le jeune homme connaîtra le même sort que la jeune fille,
et le nourrisson le même sort que le vieillard.

WLC ²⁵ מִחוּץ֙ תְּשַׁכֶּל־ חֶ֔רֶב וּמֵחֲדָרִ֖ים אֵימָ֑ה גַּם־ בָּחוּר֙ גַּם־ בְּתוּלָ֔ה יוֹנֵ֖ק עִם־ אִ֥ישׁ שֵׂיבָֽה׃

KJV ²⁶ I said, I would scatter them into corners, I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men:

S21 ²⁶ Je voudrais dire: Je les emporterai d'un souffle,
je ferai disparaître leur souvenir parmi les hommes,

WLC ²⁶ אָמַ֖רְתִּי אַפְאֵיהֶ֑ם אַשְׁבִּ֥יתָה מֵאֱנ֖וֹשׁ זִכְרָֽם׃

KJV ²⁷ Were it not that I feared the wrath of the enemy, lest their adversaries should behave themselves strangely, and lest they should say, Our hand is high, and the LORD hath not done all this.

S21 ²⁷ mais je crains les insultes de l'ennemi,
je crains que leurs adversaires n'interprètent mal
et ne disent: C'est notre main qui est puissante,
ce n'est pas l'Eternel qui a accompli tout cela.'

WLC ²⁷ לוּלֵ֗י כַּ֤עַס אוֹיֵב֙ אָג֔וּר פֶּֽן־ יְנַכְּר֖וּ צָרֵ֑ימוֹ פֶּן־ יֹֽאמְרוּ֙ יָדֵ֣ינוּ רָ֔מָה וְלֹ֥א יְהוָ֖ה פָּעַ֥ל כָּל־ זֹֽאת׃

KJV ²⁸ For they are a nation void of counsel, neither is there any understanding in them.

S21 ²⁸ »C'est une nation qui a perdu tout bon sens
et il n'y a pas d'intelligence en eux.

WLC ²⁸ כִּי־ ג֛וֹי אֹבַ֥ד עֵצ֖וֹת הֵ֑מָּה וְאֵ֥ין בָּהֶ֖ם תְּבוּנָֽה׃

KJV ²⁹ O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!

S21 ²⁹ S'ils étaient sages, voici ce qu'ils comprendraient,
et ils penseraient à ce qui leur arrivera:

WLC ²⁹ ל֥וּ חָכְמ֖וּ יַשְׂכִּ֣ילוּ זֹ֑את יָבִ֖ינוּ לְאַחֲרִיתָֽם׃

KJV ³⁰ How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had shut them up?

S21 ³⁰ comment un seul pourrait-il en poursuivre 1000,
et deux en mettre 10'000 en fuite,
si leur rocher ne les avait pas vendus,
si l'Eternel ne les avait pas livrés?

WLC ³⁰ אֵיכָ֞ה יִרְדֹּ֤ף אֶחָד֙ אֶ֔לֶף וּשְׁנַ֖יִם יָנִ֣יסוּ רְבָבָ֑ה אִם־ לֹא֙ כִּי־ צוּרָ֣ם מְכָרָ֔ם וַֽיהוָ֖ה הִסְגִּירָֽם׃

KJV ³¹ For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.

S21 ³¹ En effet, leur rocher n'est pas comme notre rocher,
nos ennemis en sont juges.

WLC ³¹ כִּ֛י לֹ֥א כְצוּרֵ֖נוּ צוּרָ֑ם וְאֹיְבֵ֖ינוּ פְּלִילִֽים׃

KJV ³² For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorrah: their grapes are grapes of gall, their clusters are bitter:

S21 ³² Mais leur vigne vient des plants de Sodome
et du terroir de Gomorrhe.
Leurs raisins sont des raisins empoisonnés,
leurs grappes sont amères.

WLC ³² כִּֽי־ מִגֶּ֤פֶן סְדֹם֙ גַּפְנָ֔ם וּמִשַּׁדְמֹ֖ת עֲמֹרָ֑ה עֲנָבֵ֙מוֹ֙ עִנְּבֵי־ ר֔וֹשׁ אַשְׁכְּלֹ֥ת מְרֹרֹ֖ת לָֽמוֹ׃

KJV ³³ Their wine is the poison of dragons, and the cruel venom of asps.

S21 ³³ Leur vin, c'est le venin des serpents,
c'est le poison cruel des vipères.

WLC ³³ חֲמַ֥ת תַּנִּינִ֖ם יֵינָ֑ם וְרֹ֥אשׁ פְּתָנִ֖ים אַכְזָֽר׃

KJV ³⁴ Is not this laid up in store with me, and sealed up among my treasures?

S21 ³⁴ »Cela n'est-il pas caché près de moi,
scellé dans mes trésors?

WLC ³⁴ הֲלֹא־ ה֖וּא כָּמֻ֣ס עִמָּדִ֑י חָתֻ֖ם בְּאוֹצְרֹתָֽי׃

KJV ³⁵ To me belongeth vengeance and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste.

S21 ³⁵ *C'est à moi qu'appartient la vengeance,
c'est moi qui leur donnerai ce qu'ils méritent 
quand leur pied trébuchera!
En effet, le jour de leur malheur est proche
et ce qui les attend ne tardera pas.

WLC ³⁵ לִ֤י נָקָם֙ וְשִׁלֵּ֔ם לְעֵ֖ת תָּמ֣וּט רַגְלָ֑ם כִּ֤י קָרוֹב֙ י֣וֹם אֵידָ֔ם וְחָ֖שׁ עֲתִדֹ֥ת לָֽמוֹ׃

KJV ³⁶ For the LORD shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when he seeth that their power is gone, and there is none shut up, or left.

S21 ³⁶ *L'Eternel jugera son peuple,
mais il aura pitié de ses serviteurs 
en voyant que leur force est épuisée
et qu'il n'y a plus ni esclave ni homme libre.

WLC ³⁶ כִּֽי־ יָדִ֤ין יְהוָה֙ עַמּ֔וֹ וְעַל־ עֲבָדָ֖יו יִתְנֶחָ֑ם כִּ֤י יִרְאֶה֙ כִּי־ אָ֣זְלַת יָ֔ד וְאֶ֖פֶס עָצ֥וּר וְעָזֽוּב׃

KJV ³⁷ And he shall say, Where are their gods, their rock in whom they trusted,

le rocher qui leur servait de refuge,

WLC ³⁷ וְאָמַ֖ר אֵ֣י אֱלֹהֵ֑ימוֹ צ֖וּר חָסָ֥יוּ בֽוֹ׃

KJV ³⁸ Which did eat the fat of their sacrifices, and drank the wine of their drink offerings? let them rise up and help you, and be your protection.

S21 ³⁸ ces dieux qui mangeaient la graisse de leurs sacrifices,
qui buvaient le vin de leurs offrandes?
Qu'ils se lèvent, qu'ils vous secourent,
qu'ils vous couvrent de leur protection!

WLC ³⁸ אֲשֶׁ֨ר חֵ֤לֶב זְבָחֵ֙ימוֹ֙ יֹאכֵ֔לוּ יִשְׁתּ֖וּ יֵ֣ין נְסִיכָ֑ם יָק֙וּמוּ֙ וְיַעְזְרֻכֶ֔ם יְהִ֥י עֲלֵיכֶ֖ם סִתְרָֽה׃

KJV ³⁹ See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.

S21 ³⁹ Voyez donc que c'est moi qui suis Dieu
et qu'il n'y a pas d'autre dieu que moi.
C'est moi qui fais vivre et mourir,
qui blesse et guéris,
et personne ne peut délivrer de ma main.

WLC ³⁹ רְא֣וּ ׀ עַתָּ֗ה כִּ֣י אֲנִ֤י אֲנִי֙ ה֔וּא וְאֵ֥ין אֱלֹהִ֖ים עִמָּדִ֑י אֲנִ֧י אָמִ֣ית וַאֲחַיֶּ֗ה מָחַ֙צְתִּי֙ וַאֲנִ֣י אֶרְפָּ֔א וְאֵ֥ין מִיָּדִ֖י מַצִּֽיל׃

KJV ⁴⁰ For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live for ever.

S21 ⁴⁰ En effet, je lève ma main vers le ciel
et je dis: Je vis éternellement!

WLC ⁴⁰ כִּֽי־ אֶשָּׂ֥א אֶל־ שָׁמַ֖יִם יָדִ֑י וְאָמַ֕רְתִּי חַ֥י אָנֹכִ֖י לְעֹלָֽם׃

KJV ⁴¹ If I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me.

S21 ⁴¹ Si j'aiguise mon épée fulgurante
et si ma main s'empare du jugement,
je me vengerai de mes adversaires
et je punirai ceux qui me détestent.

WLC ⁴¹ אִם־ שַׁנּוֹתִי֙ בְּרַ֣ק חַרְבִּ֔י וְתֹאחֵ֥ז בְּמִשְׁפָּ֖ט יָדִ֑י אָשִׁ֤יב נָקָם֙ לְצָרָ֔י וְלִמְשַׂנְאַ֖י אֲשַׁלֵּֽם׃

KJV ⁴² I will make mine arrows drunk with blood, and my sword shall devour flesh; and that with the blood of the slain and of the captives, from the beginning of revenges upon the enemy.

S21 ⁴² Mon épée dévorera leur chair
et j'enivrerai mes flèches de sang,
du sang des blessés et des prisonniers,
de la tête des chefs de l'ennemi.'

WLC ⁴² אַשְׁכִּ֤יר חִצַּי֙ מִדָּ֔ם וְחַרְבִּ֖י תֹּאכַ֣ל בָּשָׂ֑ר מִדַּ֤ם חָלָל֙ וְשִׁבְיָ֔ה מֵרֹ֖אשׁ פַּרְע֥וֹת אוֹיֵֽב׃

KJV ⁴³ Rejoice, O ye nations, with his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, and to his people.

S21 ⁴³ »*Nations, réjouissez-vous avec son peuple,
car l'Eternel venge le sang de ses serviteurs.
Il se venge de ses adversaires
et fait l'expiation pour son pays, pour son peuple.»

WLC ⁴³ הַרְנִ֤ינוּ גוֹיִם֙ עַמּ֔וֹ כִּ֥י דַם־ עֲבָדָ֖יו יִקּ֑וֹם וְנָקָם֙ יָשִׁ֣יב לְצָרָ֔יו וְכִפֶּ֥ר אַדְמָת֖וֹ עַמּֽוֹ׃

KJV ⁴⁴ And Moses came and spake all the words of this song in the ears of the people, he, and Hoshea the son of Nun.

S21 ⁴⁴ Moïse vint prononcer toutes les paroles de ce cantique en présence du peuple. Josué, fils de Nun, était avec lui.

KJV ⁴⁶ And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law.

S21 ⁴⁶ il leur dit: «Prenez à cœur toutes les paroles que je vous supplie aujourd'hui de recommander à vos enfants, afin qu'ils respectent et mettent en pratique toutes les paroles de cette loi.

WLC ⁴⁶ וַיֹּ֤אמֶר אֲלֵהֶם֙ שִׂ֣ימוּ לְבַבְכֶ֔ם לְכָל־ הַדְּבָרִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֧ר אָנֹכִ֛י מֵעִ֥יד בָּכֶ֖ם הַיּ֑וֹם אֲשֶׁ֤ר תְּצַוֻּם֙ אֶת־ בְּנֵיכֶ֔ם לִשְׁמֹ֣ר לַעֲשׂ֔וֹת אֶת־ כָּל־ דִּבְרֵ֖י הַתּוֹרָ֥ה הַזֹּֽאת׃

KJV ⁴⁷ For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing ye shall prolong your days in the land, whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.

S21 ⁴⁷ En effet, ce n'est pas une parole sans importance pour vous: c'est votre vie, et c'est par elle que vous pourrez vivre longtemps dans le pays dont vous aurez la possession une fois le Jourdain passé.»

WLC ⁴⁷ כִּ֠י לֹֽא־ דָבָ֨ר רֵ֥ק הוּא֙ מִכֶּ֔ם כִּי־ ה֖וּא חַיֵּיכֶ֑ם וּבַדָּבָ֣ר הַזֶּ֗ה תַּאֲרִ֤יכוּ יָמִים֙ עַל־ הָ֣אֲדָמָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר אַתֶּ֜ם עֹבְרִ֧ים אֶת־ הַיַּרְדֵּ֛ן שָׁ֖מָּה לְרִשְׁתָּֽהּ׃

KJV ⁴⁸ And the LORD spake unto Moses that selfsame day, saying,

KJV ⁴⁹ Get thee up into this mountain Abarim, unto mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab, that is over against Jericho; and behold the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel for a possession:

WLC ⁴⁹ עֲלֵ֡ה אֶל־ הַר֩ הָעֲבָרִ֨ים הַזֶּ֜ה הַר־ נְב֗וֹ אֲשֶׁר֙ בְּאֶ֣רֶץ מוֹאָ֔ב אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־ פְּנֵ֣י יְרֵח֑וֹ וּרְאֵה֙ אֶת־ אֶ֣רֶץ כְּנַ֔עַן אֲשֶׁ֨ר אֲנִ֥י נֹתֵ֛ן לִבְנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לַאֲחֻזָּֽה׃

KJV ⁵⁰ And die in the mount whither thou goest up, and be gathered unto thy people; as Aaron thy brother died in mount Hor, and was gathered unto his people:

S21 ⁵⁰ Tu mourras sur la montagne où tu vas monter et tu iras rejoindre les tiens, tout comme ton frère Aaron est mort sur le mont Hor et est allé rejoindre les siens.

WLC ⁵⁰ וּמֻ֗ת בָּהָר֙ אֲשֶׁ֤ר אַתָּה֙ עֹלֶ֣ה שָׁ֔מָּה וְהֵאָסֵ֖ף אֶל־ עַמֶּ֑יךָ כַּֽאֲשֶׁר־ מֵ֞ת אַהֲרֹ֤ן אָחִ֙יךָ֙ בְּהֹ֣ר הָהָ֔ר וַיֵּאָ֖סֶף אֶל־ עַמָּֽיו׃

KJV ⁵¹ Because ye trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of MeribahKadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel.

S21 ⁵¹ En effet, vous avez péché contre moi au milieu des Israélites, près des eaux de Meriba, à Kadès, dans le désert de Tsin, et vous n'avez pas respecté ma sainteté au milieu des Israélites.

WLC ⁵¹ עַל֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר מְעַלְתֶּ֜ם בִּ֗י בְּתוֹךְ֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל בְּמֵֽי־ מְרִיבַ֥ת קָדֵ֖שׁ מִדְבַּר־ צִ֑ן עַ֣ל אֲשֶׁ֤ר לֹֽא־ קִדַּשְׁתֶּם֙ אוֹתִ֔י בְּת֖וֹךְ בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

KJV ⁵² Yet thou shalt see the land before thee; but thou shalt not go thither unto the land which I give the children of Israel.

S21 ⁵² Tu verras le pays devant toi, mais tu n'entreras pas dans le pays que je donne aux Israélites.»
