KJV ²² Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

KJV ²³ For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

LSG ²³ car le mari est le chef de la femme, comme Christ est le chef de l'Église, qui est son corps, et dont il est le Sauveur.

KJV ²⁴ Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

LSG ²⁴ Or, de même que l'Église est soumise à Christ, les femmes aussi doivent l'être à leurs maris en toutes choses.

KJV ²⁵ Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

LSG ²⁵ Maris, aimez vos femmes, comme Christ a aimé l'Église, et s'est livré lui-même pour elle,

KJV ²⁶ That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

LSG ²⁶ afin de la sanctifier par la parole, après l'avoir purifiée par le baptême d'eau,

KJV ²⁷ That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

LSG ²⁷ afin de faire paraître devant lui cette Église glorieuse, sans tache, ni ride, ni rien de semblable, mais sainte et irrépréhensible.

KJV ²⁸ So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

LSG ²⁸ C'est ainsi que les maris doivent aimer leurs femmes comme leurs propres corps. Celui qui aime sa femme s'aime lui-même.

KJV ²⁹ For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

LSG ²⁹ Car jamais personne n'a haï sa propre chair ; mais il la nourrit et en prend soin, comme Christ le fait pour l'Église,

KJV ³⁰ For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

LSG ³⁰ parce que nous sommes membres de son corps.

KJV ³¹ For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

LSG ³¹ C'est pourquoi l'homme quittera son père et sa mère, et s'attachera à sa femme, et les deux deviendront une seule chair.

KJV ³² This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

LSG ³² Ce mystère est grand ; je dis cela par rapport à Christ et à l'Église.

KJV ³³ Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

LSG ³³ Du reste, que chacun de vous aime sa femme comme lui-même, et que la femme respecte son mari.

KJV ¹ Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

LSG ¹ Enfants, obéissez à vos parents, selon le Seigneur, car cela est juste.

KJV ² Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;

LSG ² Honore ton père et ta mère (c'est le premier commandement avec une promesse),

KJV ³ That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

LSG ³ afin que tu sois heureux et que tu vives longtemps sur la terre.

KJV ⁴ And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

LSG ⁴ Et vous, pères, n'irritez pas vos enfants, mais élevez-les en les corrigeant et en les instruisant selon le Seigneur.
