BAN ¹ Réveille-toi, réveille-toi, revêts ta force, Sion ! Revêts tes habits de fête, Jérusalem, ville sainte ! Car désormais l'incirconcis et l'impur n'entreront plus chez toi.

KJV ¹ Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.

BAN ⁴ Car ainsi a dit le Seigneur, l'Eternel : Mon peuple descendit autrefois en Egypte pour y séjourner, puis Assur l'opprima sans cause ;

KJV ⁴ For thus saith the Lord GOD, My people went down aforetime into Egypt to sojourn there; and the Assyrian oppressed them without cause.

BAN ⁵ et maintenant, que m'a-t-on fait là, dit l'Eternel, que mon peuple ait été enlevé pour rien ? Ses tyrans poussent des hurlements, dit l'Eternel, et sans cesse, tout le jour, mon nom est outragé !

KJV ⁵ Now therefore, what have I here, saith the LORD, that my people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them make them to howl, saith the LORD; and my name continually every day is blasphemed.

BAN ⁶ C'est pourquoi mon peuple connaîtra mon nom ; oui, en ce jour même il saura que c'est moi qui dis : Me voici !

KJV ⁶ Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I.

BAN ⁷ Qu'ils sont beaux sur les montagnes, les pieds de celui qui apporte de bonnes nouvelles, qui publie la paix, de celui qui annonce le bonheur, qui publie le salut, qui dit à Sion : Ton Dieu règne !

KJV ⁷ How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!

BAN ⁸ Ecoute tes sentinelles ! Elles élèvent la voix, elles poussent ensemble des cris de joie ; car de leurs propres yeux elles voient le retour de l'Eternel en Sion :

KJV ⁸ Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall bring again Zion.

BAN ⁹ Eclatez en cris de joie toutes ensemble, ruines de Jérusalem ; car l'Eternel a consolé son peuple, il a racheté Jérusalem !

KJV ⁹ Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the LORD hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem.

BAN ¹⁰ L'Eternel a découvert le bras de sa sainteté aux yeux de toutes les nations, et tous les bouts de la terre verront le salut de notre Dieu !

KJV ¹⁰ The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.

BAN ¹¹ Partez, partez ! Sortez de là ! Ne touchez rien d'impur ; sortez du milieu d'elle ; purifiez-vous, vous qui portez les vases de l'Eternel !

BAN ¹² Car vous ne sortirez pas avec précipitation, et vous ne vous en irez pas en fuyant ; car devant vous marche l'Eternel, et le Dieu d'Israël est votre arrière-garde !

KJV ¹² For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the LORD will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rereward.

BAN ¹³ Voici, mon serviteur prospèrera ; il grandira, il sera exalté, il sera haut élevé.

KJV ¹³ Behold, my servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high.

BAN ¹⁴ De même que beaucoup ont été interdits en te voyant, tant il était défait de visage plus qu'aucun homme, et défiguré plus qu'aucun fils d'homme,

BAN ¹⁵ ainsi il fera tressaillir des peuples nombreux ; les rois fermeront la bouche devant lui ; car ils verront ce qui ne leur avait point été raconté, et ils apprendront ce qu'ils n'avaient point entendu.

KJV ¹⁵ So shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.
