KJV ¹ Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,

WLC ¹ וּבִשְׁנַ֣ת אַחַ֗ת לְכ֙וֹרֶשׁ֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ פָּרַ֔ס לִכְל֥וֹת דְּבַר־ יְהוָ֖ה מִפִּ֣י יִרְמְיָ֑ה הֵעִ֣יר יְהוָ֗ה אֶת־ ר֙וּחַ֙ כֹּ֣רֶשׁ מֶֽלֶךְ־ פָּרַ֔ס וַיַּֽעֲבֶר־ קוֹל֙ בְּכָל־ מַלְכוּת֔וֹ וְגַם־ בְּמִכְתָּ֖ב לֵאמֹֽר׃

KJV ² Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The LORD God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.

S21 ² «Voici ce que dit Cyrus, roi de Perse: L'Eternel, le Dieu du ciel, m'a donné tous les royaumes de la terre et m'a désigné pour lui construire un temple à Jérusalem, en Juda.

WLC ² כֹּ֣ה אָמַ֗ר כֹּ֚רֶשׁ מֶ֣לֶךְ פָּרַ֔ס כֹּ֚ל מַמְלְכ֣וֹת הָאָ֔רֶץ נָ֣תַן לִ֔י יְהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵ֣י הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם וְהֽוּא־ פָקַ֤ד עָלַי֙ לִבְנֽוֹת־ ל֣וֹ בַ֔יִת בִּירוּשָׁלִַ֖ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר בִּֽיהוּדָֽה׃

KJV ³ Who is there among you of all his people? his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of the LORD God of Israel, (he is the God,) which is in Jerusalem.

S21 ³ Qui parmi vous fait partie de son peuple? Que son Dieu soit avec lui et qu'il monte à Jérusalem, en Juda, pour reconstruire la maison de l'Eternel, le Dieu d'Israël! C'est lui, le Dieu qui réside à Jérusalem.

WLC ³ מִֽי־ בָכֶ֣ם מִכָּל־ עַמּ֗וֹ יְהִ֤י אֱלֹהָיו֙ עִמּ֔וֹ וְיַ֕עַל לִירוּשָׁלִַ֖ם אֲשֶׁ֣ר בִּיהוּדָ֑ה וְיִ֗בֶן אֶת־ בֵּ֤ית יְהוָה֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל ה֥וּא הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃

KJV ⁴ And whosoever remaineth in any place where he sojourneth, let the men of his place help him with silver, and with gold, and with goods, and with beasts, beside the freewill offering for the house of God that is in Jerusalem.

S21 ⁴ Partout où s'est installé le reste du peuple de l'Eternel, les habitants de l'endroit lui donneront de l'argent, de l'or, du matériel et du bétail, avec des offrandes volontaires pour la maison de Dieu à Jérusalem.»

WLC ⁴ וְכָל־ הַנִּשְׁאָ֗ר מִֽכָּל־ הַמְּקֹמוֹת֮ אֲשֶׁ֣ר ה֣וּא גָֽר־ שָׁם֒ יְנַשְּׂא֙וּהוּ֙ אַנְשֵׁ֣י מְקֹמ֔וֹ בְּכֶ֥סֶף וּבְזָהָ֖ב וּבִרְכ֣וּשׁ וּבִבְהֵמָ֑ה עִם־ הַ֨נְּדָבָ֔ה לְבֵ֥ית הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃

KJV ⁵ Then rose up the chief of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, with all them whose spirit God had raised, to go up to build the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem.

S21 ⁵ Les chefs de famille de Juda et de Benjamin, les prêtres et les Lévites, tous ceux dont Dieu réveilla l'esprit, se levèrent pour aller reconstruire la maison de l'Eternel à Jérusalem.

WLC ⁵ וַיָּק֜וּמוּ רָאשֵׁ֣י הָאָב֗וֹת לִֽיהוּדָה֙ וּבִנְיָמִ֔ן וְהַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים וְהַלְוִיִּ֑ם לְכֹ֨ל הֵעִ֤יר הָאֱלֹהִים֙ אֶת־ רוּח֔וֹ לַעֲל֣וֹת לִבְנ֔וֹת אֶת־ בֵּ֥ית יְהוָ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃

KJV ⁶ And all they that were about them strengthened their hands with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, and with beasts, and with precious things, beside all that was willingly offered.

S21 ⁶ Tous leurs voisins leur donnèrent des objets en argent, de l'or, du matériel, du bétail et des choses de valeur, en plus de toutes les offrandes volontaires.

WLC ⁶ וְכָל־ סְבִיבֹֽתֵיהֶם֙ חִזְּק֣וּ בִֽידֵיהֶ֔ם בִּכְלֵי־ כֶ֧סֶף בַּזָּהָ֛ב בָּרְכ֥וּשׁ וּבַבְּהֵמָ֖ה וּבַמִּגְדָּנ֑וֹת לְבַ֖ד עַל־ כָּל־ הִתְנַדֵּֽב׃

KJV ⁷ Also Cyrus the king brought forth the vessels of the house of the LORD, which Nebuchadnezzar had brought forth out of Jerusalem, and had put them in the house of his gods;

S21 ⁷ Le roi Cyrus rendit les ustensiles de la maison de l'Eternel que Nebucadnetsar avait amenés de Jérusalem et placés dans le temple de son dieu.

WLC ⁷ וְהַמֶּ֣לֶךְ כּ֔וֹרֶשׁ הוֹצִ֖יא אֶת־ כְּלֵ֣י בֵית־ יְהוָ֑ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר הוֹצִ֤יא נְבֽוּכַדְנֶצַּר֙ מִיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם וַֽיִּתְּנֵ֖ם בְּבֵ֥ית אֱלֹהָֽיו׃

KJV ⁸ Even those did Cyrus king of Persia bring forth by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and numbered them unto Sheshbazzar, the prince of Judah.

KJV ⁹ And this is the number of them: thirty chargers of gold, a thousand chargers of silver, nine and twenty knives,

WLC ⁹ וְאֵ֖לֶּה מִסְפָּרָ֑ם אֲגַרְטְלֵ֨י זָהָ֜ב שְׁלֹשִׁ֗ים אֲגַרְטְלֵי־ כֶ֙סֶף֙ אָ֔לֶף מַחֲלָפִ֖ים תִּשְׁעָ֥ה וְעֶשְׂרִֽים׃

KJV ¹⁰ Thirty basons of gold, silver basons of a second sort four hundred and ten, and other vessels a thousand.

KJV ¹¹ All the vessels of gold and of silver were five thousand and four hundred. All these did Sheshbazzar bring up with them of the captivity that were brought up from Babylon unto Jerusalem.

S21 ¹¹ Le nombre total d'objets en or et en argent était de 5400. Tout cela, Sheshbatsar le ramena de Babylone à Jérusalem avec ceux qui revenaient d'exil.
