KJV ² Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say thou unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the word of the LORD;

S21 ² «Fils de l'homme, prophétise à l'intention des prophètes d'Israël! Tu diras à ceux qui prophétisent d'après leurs penchants: ‘Ecoutez la parole de l'Eternel!'

WLC ² בֶּן־ אָדָ֕ם הִנָּבֵ֛א אֶל־ נְבִיאֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל הַנִּבָּאִ֑ים וְאָֽמַרְתָּ֙ לִנְבִיאֵ֣י מִלִּבָּ֔ם שִׁמְע֖וּ דְּבַר־ יְהוָֽה׃

KJV ³ Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!

S21 ³ »Voici ce que dit le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Malheur aux prophètes fous qui suivent leur propre inspiration et ne discernent rien!

WLC ³ כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה ה֖וֹי עַל־ הַנְּבִיאִ֣ים הַנְּבָלִ֑ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר הֹלְכִ֛ים אַחַ֥ר רוּחָ֖ם וּלְבִלְתִּ֥י רָאֽוּ׃

KJV ⁴ O Israel, thy prophets are like the foxes in the deserts.

S21 ⁴ Tes prophètes, Israël, sont pareils à des renards au milieu des ruines.

WLC ⁴ כְּשֻׁעָלִ֖ים בָּחֳרָב֑וֹת נְבִיאֶ֥יךָ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל הָיֽוּ׃

KJV ⁵ Ye have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of the LORD.

S21 ⁵ Vous n'êtes pas montés devant les brèches, vous n'avez pas construit de mur pour la communauté d'Israël afin de tenir ferme dans le combat, le jour de l'Eternel.

WLC ⁵ לֹ֤א עֲלִיתֶם֙ בַּפְּרָצ֔וֹת וַתִּגְדְּר֥וּ גָדֵ֖ר עַל־ בֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל לַעֲמֹ֥ד בַּמִּלְחָמָ֖ה בְּי֥וֹם יְהוָֽה׃

KJV ⁶ They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The LORD saith: and the LORD hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word.

S21 ⁶ »Leurs visions ne sont que fausseté et leurs prédictions que mensonge. Ils affirment: ‘C'est ce que déclare l'Eternel', alors que l'Eternel ne les a pas envoyés, et ils font espérer que leur parole s'accomplira.

WLC ⁶ חָ֤זוּ שָׁוְא֙ וְקֶ֣סֶם כָּזָ֔ב הָאֹֽמְרִים֙ נְאֻם־ יְהוָ֔ה וַֽיהוָ֖ה לֹ֣א שְׁלָחָ֑ם וְיִֽחֲל֖וּ לְקַיֵּ֥ם דָּבָֽר׃

KJV ⁷ Have ye not seen a vain vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, whereas ye say, The LORD saith it; albeit I have not spoken?

S21 ⁷ Les visions que vous avez ne sont-elles pas fausses et les oracles que vous prononcez ne sont-ils pas mensongers? Vous affirmez: ‘C'est ce que déclare l'Eternel', alors que moi, je n'ai pas parlé!

WLC ⁷ הֲל֤וֹא מַֽחֲזֵה־ שָׁוְא֙ חֲזִיתֶ֔ם וּמִקְסַ֥ם כָּזָ֖ב אֲמַרְתֶּ֑ם וְאֹֽמְרִים֙ נְאֻם־ יְהוָ֔ה וַאֲנִ֖י לֹ֥א דִבַּֽרְתִּי׃

KJV ⁸ Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Lord GOD.

S21 ⁸ »C'est pourquoi, voici ce que dit le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Parce que vous affirmez des faussetés et que vos visions sont mensongères, je vous en veux, dit le Seigneur, l'Eternel.

WLC ⁸ לָכֵ֗ן כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה יַ֚עַן דַּבֶּרְכֶ֣ם שָׁ֔וְא וַחֲזִיתֶ֖ם כָּזָ֑ב לָכֵן֙ הִנְנִ֣י אֲלֵיכֶ֔ם נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃

KJV ⁹ And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.

S21 ⁹ Ma main s'attaquera aux prophètes qui ont de fausses visions et prédisent des mensonges. Ils n'appartiendront pas au conseil de mon peuple, ils ne seront pas inscrits dans le registre de la communauté d'Israël et ils ne reviendront pas dans le pays d'Israël. Vous reconnaîtrez alors que je suis le Seigneur, l'Eternel.

WLC ⁹ וְהָיְתָ֣ה יָדִ֗י אֶֽל־ הַנְּבִיאִ֞ים הַחֹזִ֣ים שָׁוְא֮ וְהַקֹּסְמִ֣ים כָּזָב֒ בְּס֧וֹד עַמִּ֣י לֹֽא־ יִהְי֗וּ וּבִכְתָ֤ב בֵּֽית־ יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ לֹ֣א יִכָּתֵ֔בוּ וְאֶל־ אַדְמַ֥ת יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֹ֣א יָבֹ֑אוּ וִידַעְתֶּ֕ם כִּ֥י אֲנִ֖י אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃

KJV ¹⁰ Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter:

S21 ¹⁰ »Tout cela arrivera parce qu'ils égarent mon peuple en affirmant que tout va bien, alors que rien ne va. Mon peuple construit un muret et eux, ils le couvrent de plâtre.

WLC ¹⁰ יַ֣עַן וּבְיַ֜עַן הִטְע֧וּ אֶת־ עַמִּ֛י לֵאמֹ֥ר שָׁל֖וֹם וְאֵ֣ין שָׁל֑וֹם וְהוּא֙ בֹּ֣נֶה חַ֔יִץ וְהִנָּ֛ם טָחִ֥ים אֹת֖וֹ תָּפֵֽל׃

KJV ¹¹ Say unto them which daub it with untempered morter, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it.

S21 ¹¹ Annonce à ceux qui le couvrent de plâtre qu'il s'écroulera! Une pluie torrentielle surviendra. Vous, grêlons, vous tomberez et la tempête éclatera.

WLC ¹¹ אֱמֹ֛ר אֶל־ טָחֵ֥י תָפֵ֖ל וְיִפֹּ֑ל הָיָ֣ה ׀ גֶּ֣שֶׁם שׁוֹטֵ֗ף וְאַתֵּ֜נָה אַבְנֵ֤י אֶלְגָּבִישׁ֙ תִּפֹּ֔לְנָה וְר֥וּחַ סְעָר֖וֹת תְּבַקֵּֽעַ׃

KJV ¹² Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it?

S21 ¹² Une fois le mur écroulé, ne vous dira-t-on pas: ‘Où est le plâtre dont vous l'avez couvert?'

WLC ¹² וְהִנֵּ֖ה נָפַ֣ל הַקִּ֑יר הֲלוֹא֙ יֵאָמֵ֣ר אֲלֵיכֶ֔ם אַיֵּ֥ה הַטִּ֖יחַ אֲשֶׁ֥ר טַחְתֶּֽם׃

KJV ¹³ Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it.

S21 ¹³ »C'est pourquoi, voici ce que dit le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Dans ma fureur, je ferai éclater la tempête; dans ma colère, une pluie torrentielle surviendra. Les grêlons tomberont avec fureur, avec la destruction pour objectif.

WLC ¹³ לָכֵ֗ן כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה וּבִקַּעְתִּ֥י רֽוּחַ־ סְעָר֖וֹת בַּֽחֲמָתִ֑י וְגֶ֤שֶׁם שֹׁטֵף֙ בְּאַפִּ֣י יִֽהְיֶ֔ה וְאַבְנֵ֥י אֶלְגָּבִ֖ישׁ בְּחֵמָ֥ה לְכָלָֽה׃

KJV ¹⁴ So will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered morter, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered, and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

S21 ¹⁴ J'abattrai le mur que vous avez couvert de plâtre, je le jetterai par terre et ses fondations seront mises à nu. Jérusalem s'écroulera et vous disparaîtrez dans ses ruines. Vous reconnaîtrez alors que je suis l'Eternel.

WLC ¹⁴ וְהָ֨רַסְתִּ֜י אֶת־ הַקִּ֨יר אֲשֶׁר־ טַחְתֶּ֥ם תָּפֵ֛ל וְהִגַּעְתִּ֥יהוּ אֶל־ הָאָ֖רֶץ וְנִגְלָ֣ה יְסֹד֑וֹ וְנָֽפְלָה֙ וּכְלִיתֶ֣ם בְּתוֹכָ֔הּ וִֽידַעְתֶּ֖ם כִּֽי־ אֲנִ֥י יְהוָֽה׃

KJV ¹⁵ Thus will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon them that have daubed it with untempered morter, and will say unto you, The wall is no more, neither they that daubed it;

S21 ¹⁵ »J'irai ainsi jusqu'au bout de ma fureur contre ce mur et contre ceux qui l'ont couvert de plâtre. Alors je vous dirai: ‘Plus de mur! Plus personne pour le replâtrer!

WLC ¹⁵ וְכִלֵּיתִ֤י אֶת־ חֲמָתִי֙ בַּקִּ֔יר וּבַטָּחִ֥ים אֹת֖וֹ תָּפֵ֑ל וְאֹמַ֤ר לָכֶם֙ אֵ֣ין הַקִּ֔יר וְאֵ֖ין הַטָּחִ֥ים אֹתֽוֹ׃

KJV ¹⁶ To wit, the prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith the Lord GOD.

S21 ¹⁶ Plus de prophètes d'Israël qui prophétisent à l'intention de Jérusalem, qui ont des visions affirmant que tout va bien alors que rien ne va, déclare le Seigneur, l'Eternel.'

WLC ¹⁶ נְבִיאֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל הַֽנִבְּאִים֙ אֶל־ יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם וְהַחֹזִ֥ים לָ֖הּ חֲז֣וֹן שָׁלֹ֑ם וְאֵ֣ין שָׁלֹ֔ם נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהֹוִֽה׃

KJV ¹⁷ Likewise, thou son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, which prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy thou against them,

S21 ¹⁷ »Quant à toi, fils de l'homme, tourne ton visage vers les filles de ton peuple qui prophétisent d'après leurs penchants et prophétise contre elles!

WLC ¹⁷ וְאַתָּ֣ה בֶן־ אָדָ֗ם שִׂ֤ים פָּנֶ֙יךָ֙ אֶל־ בְּנ֣וֹת עַמְּךָ֔ הַמִּֽתְנַבְּא֖וֹת מִֽלִּבְּהֶ֑ן וְהִנָּבֵ֖א עֲלֵיהֶֽן׃

KJV ¹⁸ And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you?

S21 ¹⁸ Tu diras: ‘Voici ce que dit le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Malheur à celles qui cousent des coussinets pour tous les poignets et qui confectionnent des voiles de toute taille pour la tête, afin de prendre des personnes au piège! Pensez-vous pouvoir prendre au piège les membres de mon peuple et préserver votre propre vie?

WLC ¹⁸ וְאָמַרְתָּ֞ כֹּה־ אָמַ֣ר ׀ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֗ה הוֹי֩ לִֽמְתַפְּר֨וֹת כְּסָת֜וֹת עַ֣ל ׀ כָּל־ אַצִּילֵ֣י יָדַ֗י וְעֹשׂ֧וֹת הַמִּסְפָּח֛וֹת עַל־ רֹ֥אשׁ כָּל־ קוֹמָ֖ה לְצוֹדֵ֣ד נְפָשׁ֑וֹת הַנְּפָשׁוֹת֙ תְּצוֹדֵ֣דְנָה לְעַמִּ֔י וּנְפָשׁ֖וֹת לָכֶ֥נָה תְחַיֶּֽינָה׃

KJV ¹⁹ And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies?

S21 ¹⁹ Vous me déshonorez auprès de mon peuple pour des poignées d'orge et des morceaux de pain en faisant mourir ceux qui ne doivent pas mourir et en faisant vivre ceux qui ne doivent pas vivre. En effet, vous mentez à mon peuple et il croit à vos mensonges.

WLC ¹⁹ וַתְּחַלֶּלְ֨נָה אֹתִ֜י אֶל־ עַמִּ֗י בְּשַׁעֲלֵ֣י שְׂעֹרִים֮ וּבִפְת֣וֹתֵי לֶחֶם֒ לְהָמִ֤ית נְפָשׁוֹת֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹֽא־ תְמוּתֶ֔נָה וּלְחַיּ֥וֹת נְפָשׁ֖וֹת אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹא־ תִֽחְיֶ֑ינָה בְּכַ֨זֶּבְכֶ֔ם לְעַמִּ֖י שֹׁמְעֵ֥י כָזָֽב׃

KJV ²⁰ Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly.

S21 ²⁰ »C'est pourquoi voici ce que dit le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Je m'en prends à vos coussinets, qui vous permettent de prendre des personnes au piège comme des oiseaux. Je les arracherai de vos bras et je laisserai partir les personnes dont vous cherchez à prendre l'âme au piège comme des oiseaux.

WLC ²⁰ לָכֵ֞ן כֹּה־ אָמַ֣ר ׀ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֗ה הִנְנִ֤י אֶל־ כִּסְּתוֹתֵיכֶ֙נָה֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר אַ֠תֵּנָה מְצֹדְד֨וֹת שָׁ֤ם אֶת־ הַנְּפָשׁוֹת֙ לְפֹ֣רְח֔וֹת וְקָרַעְתִּ֣י אֹתָ֔ם מֵעַ֖ל זְרוֹעֹֽתֵיכֶ֑ם וְשִׁלַּחְתִּי֙ אֶת־ הַנְּפָשׁ֔וֹת אֲשֶׁ֥ר אַתֶּ֛ם מְצֹדְד֥וֹת אֶת־ נְפָשִׁ֖ים לְפֹרְחֹֽת׃

KJV ²¹ Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

S21 ²¹ J'arracherai aussi vos voiles et je délivrerai mon peuple de votre pouvoir: ils ne seront plus une proie entre vos mains. Vous reconnaîtrez alors que je suis l'Eternel.

WLC ²¹ וְקָרַעְתִּ֞י אֶת־ מִסְפְּחֹֽתֵיכֶ֗ם וְהִצַּלְתִּ֤י אֶת־ עַמִּי֙ מִיֶּדְכֶ֔ן וְלֹֽא־ יִהְי֥וּ ע֛וֹד בְּיֶדְכֶ֖ן לִמְצוּדָ֑ה וִֽידַעְתֶּ֖ן כִּֽי־ אֲנִ֥י יְהוָֽה׃

KJV ²² Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life:

S21 ²² »Vous découragez le juste par des mensonges, alors que moi-même je ne l'ai pas attristé, et vous encouragez le méchant, l'empêchant ainsi de renoncer à sa mauvaise conduite et de conserver la vie.

WLC ²² יַ֣עַן הַכְא֤וֹת לֵב־ צַדִּיק֙ שֶׁ֔קֶר וַאֲנִ֖י לֹ֣א הִכְאַבְתִּ֑יו וּלְחַזֵּק֙ יְדֵ֣י רָשָׁ֔ע לְבִלְתִּי־ שׁ֛וּב מִדַּרְכּ֥וֹ הָרָ֖ע לְהַחֲיֹתֽוֹ׃

KJV ²³ Therefore ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

S21 ²³ C'est pourquoi, vous n'aurez plus de fausses visions et vous ne transmettrez plus de prédictions. Je délivrerai mon peuple de votre pouvoir. Vous reconnaîtrez alors que je suis l'Eternel.'»

WLC ²³ לָכֵ֗ן שָׁ֚וְא לֹ֣א תֶחֱזֶ֔ינָה וְקֶ֖סֶם לֹא־ תִקְסַ֣מְנָה ע֑וֹד וְהִצַּלְתִּ֤י אֶת־ עַמִּי֙ מִיֶּדְכֶ֔ן וִֽידַעְתֶּ֖ן כִּֽי־ אֲנִ֥י יְהוָֽה׃
