BCC ² Il me dit « Fils de l'homme, tiens-toi sur tes pieds, et je te parlerai. » Et comme il me parlait, l'Esprit entra en moi et me fit tenir sur mes pieds, et j'entendis celui qui me parlait.

BCC ³ Il me dit « Fils de l'homme, je t'envoie vers les enfants d'Israël, vers les peuples rebelles qui se sont révoltés contre moi ; eux et leurs pères ont péché contre moi, même jusqu'à ce jour.

KJV ³ And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me, even unto this very day.

VULC ³ et dicentem : Fili hominis, mitto ego te ad filios Israël, ad gentes apostatrices quæ recesserunt a me : ipsi et patres eorum prævaricati sunt pactum meum usque ad diem hanc :

WLC ³ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַ֗י בֶּן־ אָדָם֙ שׁוֹלֵ֨חַ אֲנִ֤י אֽוֹתְךָ֙ אֶל־ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֶל־ גּוֹיִ֥ם הַמּוֹרְדִ֖ים אֲשֶׁ֣ר מָרְדוּ־ בִ֑י הֵ֤מָּה וַאֲבוֹתָם֙ פָּ֣שְׁעוּ בִ֔י עַד־ עֶ֖צֶם הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃

BCC ⁴ Ces fils à la face impudente et au coeur endurci, c'est vers eux que je t'envoie. Et tu leur diras : Ainsi a parlé le Seigneur Yahweh.

KJV ⁴ For they are impudent children and stiffhearted. I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD.

VULC ⁴ et filii dura facie et indomabili corde sunt, ad quos ego mitto te. Et dices ad eos : Hæc dicit Dominus Deus :

WLC ⁴ וְהַבָּנִ֗ים קְשֵׁ֤י פָנִים֙ וְחִזְקֵי־ לֵ֔ב אֲנִ֛י שׁוֹלֵ֥חַ אוֹתְךָ֖ אֲלֵיהֶ֑ם וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהֹוִֽה׃

BCC ⁵ Pour eux, qu'ils écoutent ou n'écoutent point ‒ car c'est une maison de rebelles, ‒ ils sauront qu'il y a eu un prophète au milieu d'eux.

KJV ⁵ And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.

VULC ⁵ si forte vel ipsi audiant, et si forte quiescant, quoniam domus exasperans est : et scient quia propheta fuerit in medio eorum.

WLC ⁵ וְהֵ֙מָּה֙ אִם־ יִשְׁמְע֣וּ וְאִם־ יֶחְדָּ֔לוּ כִּ֛י בֵּ֥ית מְרִ֖י הֵ֑מָּה וְיָ֣דְע֔וּ כִּ֥י נָבִ֖יא הָיָ֥ה בְתוֹכָֽם׃

BCC ⁶ Et toi, fils de l'homme, ne les crains pas et n'aie pas peur de leurs paroles, car tu es avec des chardons et des épines, et tu habites avec des scorpions. N'aie pas peur de leurs paroles et ne redoute pas leurs faces, car c'est une maison de rebelles.

KJV ⁶ And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.

VULC ⁶ Tu ergo, fili hominis, ne timeas eos, neque sermones eorum metuas, quoniam increduli et subversores sunt tecum, et cum scorpionibus habitas. Verba eorum ne timeas, et vultus eorum ne formides, quia domus exasperans est.

WLC ⁶ וְאַתָּ֣ה בֶן־ אָ֠דָם אַל־ תִּירָ֨א מֵהֶ֜ם וּמִדִּבְרֵיהֶ֣ם אַל־ תִּירָ֗א כִּ֣י סָרָבִ֤ים וְסַלּוֹנִים֙ אוֹתָ֔ךְ וְאֶל־ עַקְרַבִּ֖ים אַתָּ֣ה יוֹשֵׁ֑ב מִדִּבְרֵיהֶ֤ם אַל־ תִּירָא֙ וּמִפְּנֵיהֶ֣ם אַל־ תֵּחָ֔ת כִּ֛י בֵּ֥ית מְרִ֖י הֵֽמָּה׃

BCC ⁷ Et tu leur diras mes paroles, qu'ils écoutent ou n'écoutent pas, car ce sont des rebelles.

KJV ⁷ And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.

VULC ⁷ Loqueris ergo verba mea ad eos, si forte audiant, et quiescant : quoniam irritatores sunt.

WLC ⁷ וְדִבַּרְתָּ֤ אֶת־ דְּבָרַי֙ אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם אִֽם־ יִשְׁמְע֖וּ וְאִם־ יֶחְדָּ֑לוּ כִּ֥י מְרִ֖י הֵֽמָּה׃

BCC ⁸ Et toi, fils de l'homme, écoute ce que je te dis « Ne sois pas rebelle comme la maison rebelle. Ouvre ta bouche et mange ce que je te donne. »
