WLC ² בֶּן־ אָדָ֑ם שְׁתַּ֣יִם נָשִׁ֔ים בְּנ֥וֹת אֵם־ אַחַ֖ת הָיֽוּ׃

KJV ³ And they committed whoredoms in Egypt; they committed whoredoms in their youth: there were their breasts pressed, and there they bruised the teats of their virginity.

NEG ³ Elles se sont prostituées en Egypte, Elles se sont prostituées dans leur jeunesse; Là leurs mamelles ont été pressées, Là leur sein virginal a été touché.

WLC ³ וַתִּזְנֶ֣ינָה בְמִצְרַ֔יִם בִּנְעוּרֵיהֶ֖ן זָנ֑וּ שָׁ֚מָּה מֹעֲכ֣וּ שְׁדֵיהֶ֔ן וְשָׁ֣ם עִשּׂ֔וּ דַּדֵּ֖י בְּתוּלֵיהֶֽן׃

KJV ⁴ And the names of them were Aholah the elder, and Aholibah her sister: and they were mine, and they bare sons and daughters. Thus were their names; Samaria is Aholah, and Jerusalem Aholibah.

NEG ⁴ L'aînée s'appelait Ohola, Et sa sœur Oholiba; Elles étaient à moi, Et elles ont enfanté des fils et des filles. Ohola, c'est Samarie; Oholiba, c'est Jérusalem.

WLC ⁴ וּשְׁמוֹתָ֗ן אָהֳלָ֤ה הַגְּדוֹלָה֙ וְאָהֳלִיבָ֣ה אֲחוֹתָ֔הּ וַתִּֽהְיֶ֣ינָה לִ֔י וַתֵּלַ֖דְנָה בָּנִ֣ים וּבָנ֑וֹת וּשְׁמוֹתָ֕ן שֹׁמְר֣וֹן אָהֳלָ֔ה וִירוּשָׁלִַ֖ם אָהֳלִיבָֽה׃

KJV ⁵ And Aholah played the harlot when she was mine; and she doted on her lovers, on the Assyrians her neighbours,

NEG ⁵ Ohola me fut infidèle; Elle s'enflamma pour ses amants, Les Assyriens ses voisins,

WLC ⁵ וַתִּ֥זֶן אָהֳלָ֖ה תַּחְתָּ֑י וַתַּעְגַּב֙ עַֽל־ מְאַהֲבֶ֔יהָ אֶל־ אַשּׁ֖וּר קְרוֹבִֽים׃

KJV ⁶ Which were clothed with blue, captains and rulers, all of them desirable young men, horsemen riding upon horses.

NEG ⁶ Vêtus d'étoffes teintes en bleu, Gouverneurs et chefs, Tous jeunes et charmants, Cavaliers montés sur des chevaux.

WLC ⁶ לְבֻשֵׁ֤י תְכֵ֙לֶת֙ פַּח֣וֹת וּסְגָנִ֔ים בַּח֥וּרֵי חֶ֖מֶד כֻּלָּ֑ם פָּרָשִׁ֕ים רֹכְבֵ֖י סוּסִֽים׃

KJV ⁷ Thus she committed her whoredoms with them, with all them that were the chosen men of Assyria, and with all on whom she doted: with all their idols she defiled herself.

NEG ⁷ Elle s'est prostituée à eux, A toute l'élite des enfants de l'Assyrie; Elle s'est souillée avec tous ceux pour lesquels elle s'était enflammée, Elle s'est souillée avec toutes leurs idoles.

WLC ⁷ וַתִּתֵּ֤ן תַּזְנוּתֶ֙יהָ֙ עֲלֵיהֶ֔ם מִבְחַ֥ר בְּנֵֽי־ אַשּׁ֖וּר כֻּלָּ֑ם וּבְכֹ֧ל אֲשֶׁר־ עָֽגְבָ֛ה בְּכָל־ גִּלּוּלֵיהֶ֖ם נִטְמָֽאָה׃

KJV ⁸ Neither left she her whoredoms brought from Egypt: for in her youth they lay with her, and they bruised the breasts of her virginity, and poured their whoredom upon her.

NEG ⁸ Elle n'a pas renoncé à ses prostitutions d'Egypte: Car ils avaient couché avec elle dans sa jeunesse, Ils avaient touché son sein virginal, Et ils avaient répandu sur elle leurs prostitutions.

WLC ⁸ וְאֶת־ תַּזְנוּתֶ֤יהָ מִמִּצְרַ֙יִם֙ לֹ֣א עָזָ֔בָה כִּ֤י אוֹתָהּ֙ שָׁכְב֣וּ בִנְעוּרֶ֔יהָ וְהֵ֥מָּה עִשּׂ֖וּ דַּדֵּ֣י בְתוּלֶ֑יהָ וַיִּשְׁפְּכ֥וּ תַזְנוּתָ֖ם עָלֶֽיהָ׃

KJV ⁹ Wherefore I have delivered her into the hand of her lovers, into the hand of the Assyrians, upon whom she doted.

NEG ⁹ C'est pourquoi je l'ai livrée entre les mains de ses amants, Entre les mains des enfants de l'Assyrie, Pour lesquels elle s'était enflammée.

WLC ⁹ לָכֵ֥ן נְתַתִּ֖יהָ בְּיַד־ מְאַֽהֲבֶ֑יהָ בְּיַד֙ בְּנֵ֣י אַשּׁ֔וּר אֲשֶׁ֥ר עָגְבָ֖ה עֲלֵיהֶֽם׃

KJV ¹⁰ These discovered her nakedness: they took her sons and her daughters, and slew her with the sword: and she became famous among women; for they had executed judgment upon her.

NEG ¹⁰ Ils ont découvert sa nudité, Ils ont pris ses fils et ses filles, Ils l'ont fait périr elle-même avec l'épée; Elle a été en renom parmi les femmes, Après les jugements exercés sur elle.

WLC ¹⁰ הֵמָּה֮ גִּלּ֣וּ עֶרְוָתָהּ֒ בָּנֶ֤יהָ וּבְנוֹתֶ֙יהָ֙ לָקָ֔חוּ וְאוֹתָ֖הּ בַּחֶ֣רֶב הָרָ֑גוּ וַתְּהִי־ שֵׁם֙ לַנָּשִׁ֔ים וּשְׁפוּטִ֖ים עָ֥שׂוּ בָֽהּ׃

KJV ¹¹ And when her sister Aholibah saw this, she was more corrupt in her inordinate love than she, and in her whoredoms more than her sister in her whoredoms.

NEG ¹¹ Sa sœur Oholiba vit cela, Et fut plus déréglée qu'elle dans sa passion; Ses prostitutions dépassèrent celles de sa sœur.

WLC ¹¹ וַתֵּ֙רֶא֙ אֲחוֹתָ֣הּ אָהֳלִיבָ֔ה וַתַּשְׁחֵ֥ת עַגְבָתָ֖הּ מִמֶּ֑נָּה וְאֶת־ תַּ֨זְנוּתֶ֔יהָ מִזְּנוּנֵ֖י אֲחוֹתָֽהּ׃

KJV ¹² She doted upon the Assyrians her neighbours, captains and rulers clothed most gorgeously, horsemen riding upon horses, all of them desirable young men.

NEG ¹² Elle s'enflamma pour les enfants de l'Assyrie, Gouverneurs et chefs, ses voisins, Vêtus magnifiquement, Cavaliers montés sur des chevaux, Tous jeunes et charmants.

WLC ¹² אֶל־ בְּנֵי֩ אַשּׁ֨וּר עָגָ֜בָה פַּח֨וֹת וּסְגָנִ֤ים קְרֹבִים֙ לְבֻשֵׁ֣י מִכְל֔וֹל פָּרָשִׁ֖ים רֹכְבֵ֣י סוּסִ֑ים בַּח֥וּרֵי חֶ֖מֶד כֻּלָּֽם׃

KJV ¹³ Then I saw that she was defiled, that they took both one way,

WLC ¹³ וָאֵ֖רֶא כִּ֣י נִטְמָ֑אָה דֶּ֥רֶךְ אֶחָ֖ד לִשְׁתֵּיהֶֽן׃

KJV ¹⁴ And that she increased her whoredoms: for when she saw men pourtrayed upon the wall, the images of the Chaldeans pourtrayed with vermilion,

NEG ¹⁴ Elle alla même plus loin dans ses prostitutions. Elle aperçut contre les murailles des peintures d'hommes, Des images de Chaldéens peints en couleur rouge,

WLC ¹⁴ וַתּ֖וֹסֶף אֶל־ תַּזְנוּתֶ֑יהָ וַתֵּ֗רֶא אַנְשֵׁי֙ מְחֻקֶּ֣ה עַל־ הַקִּ֔יר צַלְמֵ֣י חֲקֻקִ֖ים בַּשָּׁשַֽׁר׃

KJV ¹⁵ Girded with girdles upon their loins, exceeding in dyed attire upon their heads, all of them princes to look to, after the manner of the Babylonians of Chaldea, the land of their nativity:

NEG ¹⁵ Avec des ceintures autour des reins, Avec des turbans de couleurs variées flottant sur la tête, Tous ayant l'apparence de chefs, Et figurant des enfants de Babylone, De la Chaldée, leur patrie;

WLC ¹⁵ חֲגוֹרֵ֨י אֵז֜וֹר בְּמָתְנֵיהֶ֗ם סְרוּחֵ֤י טְבוּלִים֙ בְּרָ֣אשֵׁיהֶ֔ם מַרְאֵ֥ה שָׁלִשִׁ֖ים כֻּלָּ֑ם דְּמ֤וּת בְּנֵֽי־ בָבֶל֙ כַּשְׂדִּ֔ים אֶ֖רֶץ מוֹלַדְתָּֽם׃

KJV ¹⁶ And as soon as she saw them with her eyes, she doted upon them, and sent messengers unto them into Chaldea.

KJV ¹⁷ And the Babylonians came to her into the bed of love, and they defiled her with their whoredom, and she was polluted with them, and her mind was alienated from them.

NEG ¹⁷ Et les enfants de Babylone se rendirent auprès d'elle, Pour partager le lit des amours, Et ils la souillèrent par leurs prostitutions. Elle s'est souillée avec eux, Puis son cœur s'est détaché d'eux.

WLC ¹⁷ וַיָּבֹ֨אוּ אֵלֶ֤יהָ בְנֵֽי־ בָבֶל֙ לְמִשְׁכַּ֣ב דֹּדִ֔ים וַיְטַמְּא֥וּ אוֹתָ֖הּ בְּתַזְנוּתָ֑ם וַתִּ֨טְמָא־ בָ֔ם וַתֵּ֥קַע נַפְשָׁ֖הּ מֵהֶֽם׃

KJV ¹⁸ So she discovered her whoredoms, and discovered her nakedness: then my mind was alienated from her, like as my mind was alienated from her sister.

NEG ¹⁸ Elle a mis à nu son impudicité, Elle a découvert sa nudité; Et mon cœur s'est détaché d'elle, Comme mon cœur s'était détaché de sa sœur.

WLC ¹⁸ וַתְּגַל֙ תַּזְנוּתֶ֔יהָ וַתְּגַ֖ל אֶת־ עֶרְוָתָ֑הּ וַתֵּ֤קַע נַפְשִׁי֙ מֵֽעָלֶ֔יהָ כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר נָקְעָ֥ה נַפְשִׁ֖י מֵעַ֥ל אֲחוֹתָֽהּ׃

KJV ¹⁹ Yet she multiplied her whoredoms, in calling to remembrance the days of her youth, wherein she had played the harlot in the land of Egypt.

WLC ¹⁹ וַתַּרְבֶּ֖ה אֶת־ תַּזְנוּתֶ֑יהָ לִזְכֹּר֙ אֶת־ יְמֵ֣י נְעוּרֶ֔יהָ אֲשֶׁ֥ר זָנְתָ֖ה בְּאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃

KJV ²⁰ For she doted upon their paramours, whose flesh is as the flesh of asses, and whose issue is like the issue of horses.

NEG ²⁰ Elle s'est enflammée pour des débauchés, Dont la chair était comme celle des ânes, Et l'approche comme celle des chevaux.

WLC ²⁰ וַֽתַּעְגְּבָ֔ה עַ֖ל פִּֽלַגְשֵׁיהֶ֑ם אֲשֶׁ֤ר בְּשַׂר־ חֲמוֹרִים֙ בְּשָׂרָ֔ם וְזִרְמַ֥ת סוּסִ֖ים זִרְמָתָֽם׃

KJV ²¹ Thus thou calledst to remembrance the lewdness of thy youth, in bruising thy teats by the Egyptians for the paps of thy youth.

NEG ²¹ Tu t'es souvenue des crimes de ta jeunesse, Lorsque les Egyptiens pressaient tes mamelles, A cause de ton sein virginal.

WLC ²¹ וַֽתִּפְקְדִ֔י אֵ֖ת זִמַּ֣ת נְעוּרָ֑יִךְ בַּעְשׂ֤וֹת מִמִּצְרַ֙יִם֙ דַּדַּ֔יִךְ לְמַ֖עַן שְׁדֵ֥י נְעוּרָֽיִךְ׃

KJV ²² Therefore, O Aholibah, thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will raise up thy lovers against thee, from whom thy mind is alienated, and I will bring them against thee on every side;

KJV ²³ The Babylonians, and all the Chaldeans, Pekod, and Shoa, and Koa, and all the Assyrians with them: all of them desirable young men, captains and rulers, great lords and renowned, all of them riding upon horses.

NEG ²³ Les enfants de Babylone et tous les Chaldéens, Nobles, princes et seigneurs, Et tous les enfants de l'Assyrie avec eux, Jeunes et charmants, Tous gouverneurs et chefs, Chefs illustres, Tous montés sur des chevaux.

KJV ²⁴ And they shall come against thee with chariots, wagons, and wheels, and with an assembly of people, which shall set against thee buckler and shield and helmet round about: and I will set judgment before them, and they shall judge thee according to their judgments.

WLC ²⁴ וּבָ֣אוּ עָלַ֡יִךְ הֹ֠צֶן רֶ֤כֶב וְגַלְגַּל֙ וּבִקְהַ֣ל עַמִּ֔ים צִנָּ֤ה וּמָגֵן֙ וְקוֹבַ֔ע יָשִׂ֥ימוּ עָלַ֖יִךְ סָבִ֑יב וְנָתַתִּ֤י לִפְנֵיהֶם֙ מִשְׁפָּ֔ט וּשְׁפָט֖וּךְ בְּמִשְׁפְּטֵיהֶֽם׃

KJV ²⁵ And I will set my jealousy against thee, and they shall deal furiously with thee: they shall take away thy nose and thine ears; and thy remnant shall fall by the sword: they shall take thy sons and thy daughters; and thy residue shall be devoured by the fire.

WLC ²⁵ וְנָתַתִּ֨י קִנְאָתִ֜י בָּ֗ךְ וְעָשׂ֤וּ אוֹתָךְ֙ בְּחֵמָ֔ה אַפֵּ֤ךְ וְאָזְנַ֙יִךְ֙ יָסִ֔ירוּ וְאַחֲרִיתֵ֖ךְ בַּחֶ֣רֶב תִּפּ֑וֹל הֵ֗מָּה בָּנַ֤יִךְ וּבְנוֹתַ֙יִךְ֙ יִקָּ֔חוּ וְאַחֲרִיתֵ֖ךְ תֵּאָכֵ֥ל בָּאֵֽשׁ׃

KJV ²⁶ They shall also strip thee out of thy clothes, and take away thy fair jewels.

NEG ²⁶ Ils te dépouilleront de tes vêtements, Et ils enlèveront les ornements dont tu te pares.

WLC ²⁶ וְהִפְשִׁיט֖וּךְ אֶת־ בְּגָדָ֑יִךְ וְלָקְח֖וּ כְּלֵ֥י תִפְאַרְתֵּֽךְ׃

KJV ²⁷ Thus will I make thy lewdness to cease from thee, and thy whoredom brought from the land of Egypt: so that thou shalt not lift up thine eyes unto them, nor remember Egypt any more.

NEG ²⁷ Je mettrai fin à tes crimes Et à tes prostitutions du pays d'Egypte; Tu ne porteras plus tes regards vers eux, Tu ne penseras plus à l'Egypte.

WLC ²⁷ וְהִשְׁבַּתִּ֤י זִמָּתֵךְ֙ מִמֵּ֔ךְ וְאֶת־ זְנוּתֵ֖ךְ מֵאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם וְלֹֽא־ תִשְׂאִ֤י עֵינַ֙יִךְ֙ אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם וּמִצְרַ֖יִם לֹ֥א תִזְכְּרִי־ עֽוֹד׃

KJV ²⁸ For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will deliver thee into the hand of them whom thou hatest, into the hand of them from whom thy mind is alienated:

NEG ²⁸ Car ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Voici, je te livre entre les mains de ceux que tu hais, Entre les mains de ceux dont ton cœur s'est détaché.

WLC ²⁸ כִּ֣י כֹ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה הִנְנִי֙ נֹֽתְנָ֔ךְ בְּיַ֖ד אֲשֶׁ֣ר שָׂנֵ֑את בְּיַ֛ד אֲשֶׁר־ נָקְעָ֥ה נַפְשֵׁ֖ךְ מֵהֶֽם׃

KJV ²⁹ And they shall deal with thee hatefully, and shall take away all thy labour, and shall leave thee naked and bare: and the nakedness of thy whoredoms shall be discovered, both thy lewdness and thy whoredoms.

NEG ²⁹ Ils te traiteront avec haine; Ils enlèveront toutes tes richesses, Et te laisseront nue, entièrement nue; La honte de tes débauches sera découverte, De tes crimes et de tes prostitutions.

WLC ²⁹ וְעָשׂ֨וּ אוֹתָ֜ךְ בְּשִׂנְאָ֗ה וְלָקְחוּ֙ כָּל־ יְגִיעֵ֔ךְ וַעֲזָב֖וּךְ עֵירֹ֣ם וְעֶרְיָ֑ה וְנִגְלָה֙ עֶרְוַ֣ת זְנוּנַ֔יִךְ וְזִמָּתֵ֖ךְ וְתַזְנוּתָֽיִךְ׃

KJV ³⁰ I will do these things unto thee, because thou hast gone a whoring after the heathen, and because thou art polluted with their idols.

NEG ³⁰ Ces choses t'arriveront, Parce que tu t'es prostituée aux nations, Parce que tu t'es souillée par leurs idoles.

WLC ³⁰ עָשֹׂ֥ה אֵ֖לֶּה לָ֑ךְ בִּזְנוֹתֵךְ֙ אַחֲרֵ֣י גוֹיִ֔ם עַ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־ נִטְמֵ֖את בְּגִלּוּלֵיהֶֽם׃

KJV ³¹ Thou hast walked in the way of thy sister; therefore will I give her cup into thine hand.

NEG ³¹ Tu as marché dans la voie de ta sœur, Et je mets sa coupe dans ta main.

WLC ³¹ בְּדֶ֥רֶךְ אֲחוֹתֵ֖ךְ הָלָ֑כְתְּ וְנָתַתִּ֥י כוֹסָ֖הּ בְּיָדֵֽךְ׃

KJV ³² Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou shalt drink of thy sister's cup deep and large: thou shalt be laughed to scorn and had in derision; it containeth much.

NEG ³² Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Tu boiras la coupe de ta sœur, Tu la boiras large et profonde; Elle te rendra un objet de risée et de moquerie; Elle contient beaucoup.

WLC ³² כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהֹוִ֔ה כּ֤וֹס אֲחוֹתֵךְ֙ תִּשְׁתִּ֔י הָעֲמֻקָּ֖ה וְהָרְחָבָ֑ה תִּהְיֶ֥ה לִצְחֹ֛ק וּלְלַ֖עַג מִרְבָּ֥ה לְהָכִֽיל׃

KJV ³³ Thou shalt be filled with drunkenness and sorrow, with the cup of astonishment and desolation, with the cup of thy sister Samaria.

KJV ³⁴ Thou shalt even drink it and suck it out, and thou shalt break the sherds thereof, and pluck off thine own breasts: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.

NEG ³⁴ Tu la boiras, tu la videras, Tu la briseras en morceaux, Et tu te déchireras le sein. Car j'ai parlé, Dit le Seigneur, l'Eternel.

WLC ³⁴ וְשָׁתִ֨ית אוֹתָ֜הּ וּמָצִ֗ית וְאֶת־ חֲרָשֶׂ֛יהָ תְּגָרֵ֖מִי וְשָׁדַ֣יִךְ תְּנַתֵּ֑קִי כִּ֚י אֲנִ֣י דִבַּ֔רְתִּי נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃

KJV ³⁵ Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast forgotten me, and cast me behind thy back, therefore bear thou also thy lewdness and thy whoredoms.

NEG ³⁵ C'est pourquoi ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Parce que tu m'as oublié, Parce que tu m'as rejeté derrière ton dos, Porte donc aussi la peine de tes crimes et de tes prostitutions.

WLC ³⁵ לָכֵ֗ן כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה יַ֚עַן שָׁכַ֣חַתְּ אוֹתִ֔י וַתַּשְׁלִ֥יכִי אוֹתִ֖י אַחֲרֵ֣י גַוֵּ֑ךְ וְגַם־ אַ֛תְּ שְׂאִ֥י זִמָּתֵ֖ךְ וְאֶת־ תַּזְנוּתָֽיִךְ׃

KJV ³⁶ The LORD said moreover unto me; Son of man, wilt thou judge Aholah and Aholibah? yea, declare unto them their abominations;

NEG ³⁶ L'Eternel me dit: Fils de l'homme, jugeras-tu Ohola et Oholiba? Déclare-leur leurs abominations!

WLC ³⁶ וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהוָה֙ אֵלַ֔י בֶּן־ אָדָ֕ם הֲתִשְׁפּ֥וֹט אֶֽת־ אָהֳלָ֖ה וְאֶת־ אָהֳלִיבָ֑ה וְהַגֵּ֣ד לָהֶ֔ן אֵ֖ת תוֹעֲבוֹתֵיהֶֽן׃

KJV ³⁷ That they have committed adultery, and blood is in their hands, and with their idols have they committed adultery, and have also caused their sons, whom they bare unto me, to pass for them through the fire, to devour them.

NEG ³⁷ Elles se sont livrées à l'adultère, et il y a du sang à leurs mains: Elles ont commis adultère avec leurs idoles; Et les enfants qu'elles m'avaient enfantés, Elles les ont fait passer par le feu Pour qu'ils leur servent d'aliment.

WLC ³⁷ כִּ֣י נִאֵ֗פוּ וְדָם֙ בִּֽידֵיהֶ֔ן וְאֶת־ גִּלּֽוּלֵיהֶ֖ן נִאֵ֑פוּ וְגַ֤ם אֶת־ בְּנֵיהֶן֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יָֽלְדוּ־ לִ֔י הֶעֱבִ֥ירוּ לָהֶ֖ם לְאָכְלָֽה׃

KJV ³⁸ Moreover this they have done unto me: they have defiled my sanctuary in the same day, and have profaned my sabbaths.

NEG ³⁸ Voici encore ce qu'elles m'ont fait: Elles ont souillé mon sanctuaire dans le même jour, Et elles ont profané mes sabbats.

WLC ³⁸ ע֥וֹד זֹ֖את עָ֣שׂוּ לִ֑י טִמְּא֤וּ אֶת־ מִקְדָּשִׁי֙ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֔וּא וְאֶת־ שַׁבְּתוֹתַ֖י חִלֵּֽלוּ׃

KJV ³⁹ For when they had slain their children to their idols, then they came the same day into my sanctuary to profane it; and, lo, thus have they done in the midst of mine house.

NEG ³⁹ Elles ont immolé leurs enfants à leurs idoles, Et elles sont allées le même jour dans mon sanctuaire, Pour le profaner. C'est là ce qu'elles ont fait dans ma maison.

WLC ³⁹ וּֽבְשַׁחֲטָ֤ם אֶת־ בְּנֵיהֶם֙ לְגִלּ֣וּלֵיהֶ֔ם וַיָּבֹ֧אוּ אֶל־ מִקְדָּשִׁ֛י בַּיּ֥וֹם הַה֖וּא לְחַלְּל֑וֹ וְהִנֵּה־ כֹ֥ה עָשׂ֖וּ בְּת֥וֹךְ בֵּיתִֽי׃

KJV ⁴⁰ And furthermore, that ye have sent for men to come from far, unto whom a messenger was sent; and, lo, they came: for whom thou didst wash thyself, paintedst thy eyes, and deckedst thyself with ornaments,

NEG ⁴⁰ Et même elles ont fait chercher des hommes venant de loin, Elles leur ont envoyé des messagers, et voici, ils sont venus. Pour eux tu t'es lavée, tu as mis du fard à tes yeux, Tu t'es parée de tes ornements;

WLC ⁴⁰ וְאַ֗ף כִּ֤י תִשְׁלַ֙חְנָה֙ לַֽאֲנָשִׁ֔ים בָּאִ֖ים מִמֶּרְחָ֑ק אֲשֶׁ֨ר מַלְאָ֜ךְ שָׁל֤וּחַ אֲלֵיהֶם֙ וְהִנֵּה־ בָ֔אוּ לַאֲשֶׁ֥ר רָחַ֛צְתְּ כָּחַ֥לְתְּ עֵינַ֖יִךְ וְעָ֥דִית עֶֽדִי׃

KJV ⁴¹ And satest upon a stately bed, and a table prepared before it, whereupon thou hast set mine incense and mine oil.

NEG ⁴¹ Tu t'es assise sur un lit magnifique, Devant lequel une table était dressée, Et tu as placé sur cette table mon encens et mon huile.

WLC ⁴¹ וְיָשַׁבְתְּ֙ עַל־ מִטָּ֣ה כְבוּדָּ֔ה וְשֻׁלְחָ֥ן עָר֖וּךְ לְפָנֶ֑יהָ וּקְטָרְתִּ֥י וְשַׁמְנִ֖י שַׂ֥מְתְּ עָלֶֽיהָ׃

KJV ⁴² And a voice of a multitude being at ease was with her: and with the men of the common sort were brought Sabeans from the wilderness, which put bracelets upon their hands, and beautiful crowns upon their heads.

NEG ⁴² On entendait les cris d'une multitude joyeuse; Et parmi cette foule d'hommes On a fait venir du désert des Sabéens, Qui ont mis des bracelets aux mains des deux sœurs Et de superbes couronnes sur leurs têtes.

WLC ⁴² וְק֣וֹל הָמוֹן֮ שָׁלֵ֣ו בָהּ֒ וְאֶל־ אֲנָשִׁים֙ מֵרֹ֣ב אָדָ֔ם מוּבָאִ֥ים מִמִּדְבָּ֑ר וַֽיִּתְּנ֤וּ צְמִידִים֙ אֶל־ יְדֵיהֶ֔ן וַעֲטֶ֥רֶת תִּפְאֶ֖רֶת עַל־ רָאשֵׁיהֶֽן׃

KJV ⁴³ Then said I unto her that was old in adulteries, Will they now commit whoredoms with her, and she with them?

NEG ⁴³ Je dis alors au sujet de celle qui a vieilli dans l'adultère: Continuera-t-elle maintenant ses prostitutions, et viendra-t-on à elle?

WLC ⁴³ וָאֹמַ֕ר לַבָּלָ֖ה נִֽאוּפִ֑ים תַזְנוּתֶ֖הָ וָהִֽיא׃

KJV ⁴⁴ Yet they went in unto her, as they go in unto a woman that playeth the harlot: so went they in unto Aholah and unto Aholibah, the lewd women.

NEG ⁴⁴ Et l'on est venu vers elle comme l'on va chez une prostituée; C'est ainsi qu'on est allé vers Ohola et Oholiba, Ces femmes criminelles.

WLC ⁴⁴ וַיָּב֣וֹא אֵלֶ֔יהָ כְּב֖וֹא אֶל־ אִשָּׁ֣ה זוֹנָ֑ה כֵּ֣ן בָּ֗אוּ אֶֽל־ אָֽהֳלָה֙ וְאֶל־ אָ֣הֳלִיבָ֔ה אִשֹּׁ֖ת הַזִּמָּֽה׃

KJV ⁴⁵ And the righteous men, they shall judge them after the manner of adulteresses, and after the manner of women that shed blood; because they are adulteresses, and blood is in their hands.

NEG ⁴⁵ Mais des hommes justes les jugeront, Comme on juge les femmes adultères, Comme on juge celles qui répandent le sang; Car elles sont adultères, et il y a du sang à leurs mains.

WLC ⁴⁵ וַאֲנָשִׁ֣ים צַדִּיקִ֗ם הֵ֚מָּה יִשְׁפְּט֣וּ אֽוֹתְהֶ֔ם מִשְׁפַּט֙ נֹֽאֲפ֔וֹת וּמִשְׁפַּ֖ט שֹׁפְכ֣וֹת דָּ֑ם כִּ֤י נֹֽאֲפֹת֙ הֵ֔נָּה וְדָ֖ם בִּֽידֵיהֶֽן׃

KJV ⁴⁶ For thus saith the Lord GOD; I will bring up a company upon them, and will give them to be removed and spoiled.

NEG ⁴⁶ Car ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Je ferai monter contre elles une multitude, Et je les livrerai à la terreur et au pillage.

WLC ⁴⁶ כִּ֛י כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֑ה הַעֲלֵ֤ה עֲלֵיהֶם֙ קָהָ֔ל וְנָתֹ֥ן אֶתְהֶ֖ן לְזַעֲוָ֥ה וְלָבַֽז׃

KJV ⁴⁷ And the company shall stone them with stones, and dispatch them with their swords; they shall slay their sons and their daughters, and burn up their houses with fire.

NEG ⁴⁷ Cette multitude les lapidera, Et les abattra à coups d'épée; On tuera leurs fils et leurs filles, On brûlera leurs maisons par le feu.

WLC ⁴⁷ וְרָגְמ֨וּ עֲלֵיהֶ֥ן אֶ֙בֶן֙ קָהָ֔ל וּבָרֵ֥א אוֹתְהֶ֖ן בְּחַרְבוֹתָ֑ם בְּנֵיהֶ֤ם וּבְנֽוֹתֵיהֶם֙ יַהֲרֹ֔גוּ וּבָתֵּיהֶ֖ן בָּאֵ֥שׁ יִשְׂרֹֽפוּ׃

KJV ⁴⁸ Thus will I cause lewdness to cease out of the land, that all women may be taught not to do after your lewdness.

NEG ⁴⁸ Je ferai cesser ainsi le crime dans le pays; Toutes les femmes recevront instruction, Et ne commettront pas de crime comme le vôtre.

WLC ⁴⁸ וְהִשְׁבַּתִּ֥י זִמָּ֖ה מִן־ הָאָ֑רֶץ וְנִֽוַּסְּרוּ֙ כָּל־ הַנָּשִׁ֔ים וְלֹ֥א תַעֲשֶׂ֖ינָה כְּזִמַּתְכֶֽנָה׃

KJV ⁴⁹ And they shall recompense your lewdness upon you, and ye shall bear the sins of your idols: and ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.

NEG ⁴⁹ On fera retomber votre crime sur vous, Et vous porterez les péchés de vos idoles. Et vous saurez que je suis le Seigneur, l'Eternel.

WLC ⁴⁹ וְנָתְנ֤וּ זִמַּתְכֶ֙נָה֙ עֲלֵיכֶ֔ן וַחֲטָאֵ֥י גִלּוּלֵיכֶ֖ן תִּשֶּׂ֑אינָה וִידַעְתֶּ֕ם כִּ֥י אֲנִ֖י אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃
