BAN ¹ Et la parole de l'Eternel me fut adressée en ces mots :

KJV ¹ The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

BAN ² Fils d'homme, tourne ta face vers les fils d'Ammon et prophétise contre eux.

KJV ² Son of man, set thy face against the Ammonites, and prophesy against them;

BAN ³ Tu diras aux fils d'Ammon : Ecoutez la parole du Seigneur l'Eternel : Ainsi parle le Seigneur l'Eternel : Puisque tu dis : Ha ! ha ! sur mon sanctuaire, parce qu'il a été profané, et sur la terre d'Israël, parce qu'elle a été dévastée, et sur la maison de Juda, parce qu'ils sont allés en captivité,

KJV ³ And say unto the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou saidst, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity;

BAN ⁴ cause de cela, je vais te donner en possession aux fils de l'Orient ; ils établiront chez toi leurs campements, ils dresseront chez toi leurs demeures ; ce sont eux qui mangeront tes fruits, et ce sont eux qui boiront ton lait.

KJV ⁴ Behold, therefore I will deliver thee to the men of the east for a possession, and they shall set their palaces in thee, and make their dwellings in thee: they shall eat thy fruit, and they shall drink thy milk.

BAN ⁵ Et je ferai de Rabba un pâturage de chameaux et [du pays] des fils d'Ammon un bercail de brebis, et vous saurez que je suis l'Eternel.

KJV ⁵ And I will make Rabbah a stable for camels, and the Ammonites a couching place for flocks: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

BAN ⁶ Car ainsi parle le Seigneur l'Eternel : Parce que tu as battu des mains et frappé du pied et que tu t'es réjouie, avec tout le mépris de ton âme, au sujet de la terre d'Israël,

KJV ⁶ For thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast clapped thine hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced in heart with all thy despite against the land of Israel;

BAN ⁷ cause de cela, je vais étendre ma main contre toi ; je te donnerai pour portion aux nations, je te retrancherai d'entre les peuples et je te supprimerai d'entre les pays ; je t'exterminerai, et tu sauras que je suis l'Eternel.

KJV ⁷ Behold, therefore I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and will deliver thee for a spoil to the heathen; and I will cut thee off from the people, and I will cause thee to perish out of the countries: I will destroy thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.

BAN ⁸ Ainsi parle le Seigneur l'Eternel : Parce que Moab et Séir disent : Voici, la maison de Juda est comme toutes les nations ;

KJV ⁸ Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because that Moab and Seir do say, Behold, the house of Judah is like unto all the heathen;

BAN ⁹ cause de cela je vais ouvrir la frontière de Moab, en lui enlevant les villes, en lui enlevant d'un bout à l'autre ses villes, qui font la gloire du pays, Beth-Jésimoth, Baal-Méon et Kiriathaïm,

KJV ⁹ Therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on his frontiers, the glory of the country, Bethjeshimoth, Baalmeon, and Kiriathaim,

BAN ¹⁰ [je vais l'ouvrir] aux fils de l'Orient, aussi bien que le pays des fils d'Ammon, et je le leur donnerai en possession, afin que les fils d'Ammon ne soient plus mentionnés au nombre des nations,

KJV ¹⁰ Unto the men of the east with the Ammonites, and will give them in possession, that the Ammonites may not be remembered among the nations.

BAN ¹¹ et j'exercerai des jugements en Moab, et ils sauront que je suis l'Eternel.

KJV ¹¹ And I will execute judgments upon Moab; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

BAN ¹² Ainsi parle le Seigneur l'Eternel. Parce qu'Edom s'est vengé à outrance de la maison de Juda, et qu'il s'est rendu gravement coupable en se vengeant d'eux,

KJV ¹² Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because that Edom hath dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them;

BAN ¹³ cause de cela le Seigneur l'Eternel parle ainsi : J'étendrai ma main contre Edom et je retrancherai du milieu de lui hommes et bêtes, et j'en ferai un désert depuis Théman, et jusqu'à Dédan ils tomberont par l'épée.

KJV ¹³ Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also stretch out mine hand upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; and they of Dedan shall fall by the sword.

BAN ¹⁴ Et j'exercerai ma vengeance sur Edom par la main de mon peuple d'Israël, et ils traiteront Edom selon ma colère et selon ma fureur, et ils connaîtront ma vengeance, dit le Seigneur l'Eternel.

KJV ¹⁴ And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel: and they shall do in Edom according to mine anger and according to my fury; and they shall know my vengeance, saith the Lord GOD.

BAN ¹⁵ Ainsi parle le Seigneur l'Eternel : Parce que les Philistins se sont livrés à la vengeance, et qu'ils se sont vengés à outrance, le mépris dans l'âme, pour exterminer, haine éternelle,

KJV ¹⁵ Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with a despiteful heart, to destroy it for the old hatred;

BAN ¹⁶ cause de cela, ainsi parle le Seigneur l'Eternel : Je vais étendre ma main contre les Philistins, j'écraserai les Crétois et détruirai le reste qui habite le rivage de la mer ;

KJV ¹⁶ Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will stretch out mine hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethims, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.

BAN ¹⁷ et j'exercerai sur eux de grandes vengeances, les châtiant avec fureur, et ils sauront que je suis l'Eternel quand je leur ferai sentir ma vengeance.

KJV ¹⁷ And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.
