BCC ² « Fils de l'homme, tourne ta face contre Pharaon, roi d'Égypte, et prophétise sur lui et sur l'Égypte tout entière ; parle et dis :

KJV ² Son of man, set thy face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him, and against all Egypt:

WLC ² בֶּן־ אָדָ֕ם שִׂ֣ים פָּנֶ֔יךָ עַל־ פַּרְעֹ֖ה מֶ֣לֶךְ מִצְרָ֑יִם וְהִנָּבֵ֣א עָלָ֔יו וְעַל־ מִצְרַ֖יִם כֻּלָּֽהּ׃

BCC ³ Ainsi parle le Seigneur Yahweh : Voici que je viens à toi, Pharaon, roi d'Égypte, toi le grand crocodile, couché au milieu de tes fleuves, qui as dit « Mon fleuve est à moi, et c'est moi qui me le suis fait. »

BCC ⁴ Je mettrai des crochets dans tes mâchoires, et je ferai s'attacher à tes écailles les poissons de tes fleuves ; et je te ferai monter du milieu de tes fleuves, toi et tous les poissons de tes fleuves, attachés à tes écailles ;

KJV ⁴ But I will put hooks in thy jaws, and I will cause the fish of thy rivers to stick unto thy scales, and I will bring thee up out of the midst of thy rivers, and all the fish of thy rivers shall stick unto thy scales.

et agglutinabo pisces fluminum tuorum squamis tuis,
et extraham te de medio fluminum tuorum,
et universi pisces tui squamis tuis adhærebunt.

WLC ⁴ וְנָתַתִּ֤י בִּלְחָיֶ֔יךָ וְהִדְבַּקְתִּ֥י דְגַת־ יְאֹרֶ֖יךָ בְּקַשְׂקְשֹׂתֶ֑יךָ וְהַעֲלִיתִ֙יךָ֙ מִתּ֣וֹךְ יְאֹרֶ֔יךָ וְאֵת֙ כָּל־ דְּגַ֣ת יְאֹרֶ֔יךָ בְּקַשְׂקְשֹׂתֶ֖יךָ תִּדְבָּֽק׃

BCC ⁵ et je te jetterai au désert, toi et tous les poissons de tes fleuves ; tu tomberas sur la face des champs, tu ne seras ni relevé, ni ramassé ; je te donne en pâture aux bêtes de la terre et aux oiseaux du ciel ;

KJV ⁵ And I will leave thee thrown into the wilderness, thee and all the fish of thy rivers: thou shalt fall upon the open fields; thou shalt not be brought together, nor gathered: I have given thee for meat to the beasts of the field and to the fowls of the heaven.

WLC ⁵ וּנְטַשְׁתִּ֣יךָ הַמִּדְבָּ֗רָה אוֹתְךָ֙ וְאֵת֙ כָּל־ דְּגַ֣ת יְאֹרֶ֔יךָ עַל־ פְּנֵ֤י הַשָּׂדֶה֙ תִּפּ֔וֹל לֹ֥א תֵאָסֵ֖ף וְלֹ֣א תִקָּבֵ֑ץ לְחַיַּ֥ת הָאָ֛רֶץ וּלְע֥וֹף הַשָּׁמַ֖יִם נְתַתִּ֥יךָ לְאָכְלָֽה׃

BCC ⁶ et tous les habitants de l'Égypte sauront que je suis Yahweh ‒ parce qu'ils ont été un appui de roseau pour la maison d'Israël !

KJV ⁶ And all the inhabitants of Egypt shall know that I am the LORD, because they have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel.

BCC ⁷ Quand ils te prennent avec la main, tu casses, et tu leur déchires toute l'épaule ; et quand ils s'appuient sur toi, tu te brises, tu les fais se tenir sur leurs reins à tous.

KJV ⁷ When they took hold of thee by thy hand, thou didst break, and rend all their shoulder: and when they leaned upon thee, thou brakest, and madest all their loins to be at a stand.

BCC ⁸ C'est pourquoi ainsi parle le Seigneur Yahweh : Voici que je ferai venir sur toi l'épée et j'exterminerai du milieu de toi hommes et bêtes ;

KJV ⁸ Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring a sword upon thee, and cut off man and beast out of thee.

BCC ⁹ et la terre d'Égypte deviendra une désolation et un désert, et l'on saura que je suis Yahweh. Parce que Pharaon a dit « Le fleuve est à moi, et c'est moi qui l'ai fait, »

KJV ⁹ And the land of Egypt shall be desolate and waste; and they shall know that I am the LORD: because he hath said, The river is mine, and I have made it.

BCC ¹⁰ à cause de cela, voici que je viens à toi et à tes fleuves et je ferai du pays d'Égypte des ruines désertes et désolées, de Migdol à Syène, et jusqu'à la frontière de l'Éthiopie.

KJV ¹⁰ Behold, therefore I am against thee, and against thy rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt utterly waste and desolate, from the tower of Syene even unto the border of Ethiopia.

BCC ¹¹ Il n'y passera nul pied d'homme, et nul pied de bête n'y passera, et il sera inhabité pendant quarante ans.

KJV ¹¹ No foot of man shall pass through it, nor foot of beast shall pass through it, neither shall it be inhabited forty years.

WLC ¹¹ לֹ֤א תַעֲבָר־ בָּהּ֙ רֶ֣גֶל אָדָ֔ם וְרֶ֥גֶל בְּהֵמָ֖ה לֹ֣א תַעֲבָר־ בָּ֑הּ וְלֹ֥א תֵשֵׁ֖ב אַרְבָּעִ֥ים שָׁנָֽה׃

BCC ¹² Je ferai du pays d'Égypte une désolation ; au milieu des pays désolés, et ses villes, au milieu des villes ruinées, seront une désolation, durant quarante ans ; je disperserai les Égyptiens parmi les nations ; et je les disséminerai en divers pays.

KJV ¹² And I will make the land of Egypt desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate, and her cities among the cities that are laid waste shall be desolate forty years: and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.

et civitates ejus in medio urbium subversarum,

BCC ¹³ Car ainsi parle le Seigneur Yahweh : Au bout de quarante ans, je rassemblerai les Égyptiens ; d'entre tes peuples chez lesquels ils auront été dispersés ;

KJV ¹³ Yet thus saith the Lord GOD; At the end of forty years will I gather the Egyptians from the people whither they were scattered:

Post finem quadraginta annorum congregabo Ægyptum

WLC ¹³ כִּ֛י כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֑ה מִקֵּ֞ץ אַרְבָּעִ֤ים שָׁנָה֙ אֲקַבֵּ֣ץ אֶת־ מִצְרַ֔יִם מִן־ הָעַמִּ֖ים אֲשֶׁר־ נָפֹ֥צוּ שָֽׁמָּה׃

BCC ¹⁴ je ferai revenir les captifs d'Égypte, et je les ramènerai dans le pays de Pathros, dans le pays de leur origine, et ils y seront un humble royaume.

KJV ¹⁴ And I will bring again the captivity of Egypt, and will cause them to return into the land of Pathros, into the land of their habitation; and they shall be there a base kingdom.

BCC ¹⁵ L'Égypte sera humble entre les royaumes ; et elle ne s'élèvera plus au-dessus des nations ; je réduirai leur nombre, afin qu'ils ne dominent pas sur les nations.

KJV ¹⁵ It shall be the basest of the kingdoms; neither shall it exalt itself any more above the nations: for I will diminish them, that they shall no more rule over the nations.

BCC ¹⁶ Ils ne seront plus pour la maison d'Israël un objet de confiance ; ils lui rappelleront l'iniquité qu'elle commettait en se tournant vers eux ; et l'on saura que je suis le Seigneur Yahweh. »

KJV ¹⁶ And it shall be no more the confidence of the house of Israel, which bringeth their iniquity to remembrance, when they shall look after them: but they shall know that I am the Lord GOD.

WLC ¹⁷ וַיְהִ֗י בְּעֶשְׂרִ֤ים וָשֶׁ֙בַע֙ שָׁנָ֔ה בָּֽרִאשׁ֖וֹן בְּאֶחָ֣ד לַחֹ֑דֶשׁ הָיָ֥ה דְבַר־ יְהוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר׃

BCC ¹⁸ « Fils de l'homme, Nabuchodonosor, roi de Babylone, a fait faire à son armée un rude service contre Tyr ; toute tête est devenue chauve, toute épaule meurtrie ; et il n'a retiré de Tyr aucun salaire, ni pour lui, ni pour son armée, pour le service qu'il a fait contre elle.

KJV ¹⁸ Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service against Tyrus: every head was made bald, and every shoulder was peeled: yet had he no wages, nor his army, for Tyrus, for the service that he had served against it:

BCC ¹⁹ C'est pourquoi ainsi parle le Seigneur Yahweh : Voici que je donne à Nabuchodonosor, roi de Babylone, le pays d'Égypte ; il en emportera les richesses ; il dépouillera ce qu'il y a à dépouiller, il pillera son butin et prendra ses dépouilles et ce sera un salaire pour son armée.

KJV ¹⁹ Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will give the land of Egypt unto Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall take her multitude, and take her spoil, and take her prey; and it shall be the wages for his army.

BCC ²⁰ Pour prix du travail qu'il a fait contre Tyr, je lui donne le pays d'Égypte, parce qu'ils ont travaillé pour moi ‒ oracle du Seigneur Yahweh.

KJV ²⁰ I have given him the land of Egypt for his labour wherewith he served against it, because they wrought for me, saith the Lord GOD.

VULC ²⁰ et operi quo servivit adversus eam :
dedi ei terram Ægypti pro eo quod laboraverit mihi,
ait Dominus Deus.

WLC ²⁰ פְּעֻלָּתוֹ֙ אֲשֶׁר־ עָ֣בַד בָּ֔הּ נָתַ֥תִּי ל֖וֹ אֶת־ אֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם אֲשֶׁר֙ עָ֣שׂוּ לִ֔י נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃

BCC ²¹ En ce jour-là, je ferai pousser une corne à la maison d'Israël, et je te donnerai d'ouvrir la bouche au milieu d'eux ; et ils sauront que je suis Yahweh. »

KJV ²¹ In that day will I cause the horn of the house of Israel to bud forth, and I will give thee the opening of the mouth in the midst of them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

VULC ²¹ In die illo pullulabit cornu domui Israël,
et tibi dabo apertum os in medio eorum,
