KJV ¹ Then he brought me forth into the utter court, the way toward the north: and he brought me into the chamber that was over against the separate place, and which was before the building toward the north.

KJV ² Before the length of an hundred cubits was the north door, and the breadth was fifty cubits.

LSG ² Sur la face, où se trouvait la porte septentrionale, il y avait une longueur de cent coudées ; et la largeur était de cinquante coudées.

WLC ² אֶל־ פְּנֵי־ אֹ֙רֶךְ֙ אַמּ֣וֹת הַמֵּאָ֔ה פֶּ֖תַח הַצָּפ֑וֹן וְהָרֹ֖חַב חֲמִשִּׁ֥ים אַמּֽוֹת׃

KJV ³ Over against the twenty cubits which were for the inner court, and over against the pavement which was for the utter court, was gallery against gallery in three stories.

LSG ³ C'était vis-à-vis des vingt coudées du parvis intérieur, et vis-à-vis du pavé du parvis extérieur, là où se trouvaient les galeries des trois étages.

WLC ³ נֶ֣גֶד הָֽעֶשְׂרִ֗ים אֲשֶׁר֙ לֶחָצֵ֣ר הַפְּנִימִ֔י וְנֶ֣גֶד רִֽצְפָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֖ר לֶחָצֵ֣ר הַחִֽיצוֹנָ֑ה אַתִּ֥יק אֶל־ פְּנֵֽי־ אַתִּ֖יק בַּשְּׁלִשִֽׁים׃

KJV ⁴ And before the chambers was a walk to ten cubits breadth inward, a way of one cubit; and their doors toward the north.

LSG ⁴ Devant les chambres, il y avait une allée large de dix coudées, et une voie d'une coudée ; leurs portes donnaient au septentrion.

WLC ⁴ וְלִפְנֵ֨י הַלְּשָׁכ֜וֹת מַהֲלַךְ֩ עֶ֨שֶׂר אַמּ֥וֹת רֹ֙חַב֙ אֶל־ הַפְּנִימִ֔ית דֶּ֖רֶךְ אַמָּ֣ה אֶחָ֑ת וּפִתְחֵיהֶ֖ם לַצָּפֽוֹן׃

KJV ⁵ Now the upper chambers were shorter: for the galleries were higher than these, than the lower, and than the middlemost of the building.

LSG ⁵ Les chambres supérieures étaient plus étroites que les inférieures et que celles du milieu du bâtiment, parce que les galeries leur ôtaient de la place.

WLC ⁵ וְהַלְּשָׁכ֥וֹת הָעֶלְיוֹנֹ֖ת קְצֻר֑וֹת כִּֽי־ יוֹכְל֨וּ אַתִּיקִ֜ים מֵהֵ֗נָה מֵֽהַתַּחְתֹּנ֛וֹת וּמֵהַתִּֽכֹנ֖וֹת בִּנְיָֽן׃

KJV ⁶ For they were in three stories, but had not pillars as the pillars of the courts: therefore the building was straitened more than the lowest and the middlemost from the ground.

LSG ⁶ Il y avait trois étages, mais il n'y avait point de colonnes, comme les colonnes des parvis ; c'est pourquoi, à partir du sol, les chambres du haut étaient plus étroites que celles du bas et du milieu.

WLC ⁶ כִּ֤י מְשֻׁלָּשׁוֹת֙ הֵ֔נָּה וְאֵ֤ין לָהֶן֙ עַמּוּדִ֔ים כְּעַמּוּדֵ֖י הַחֲצֵר֑וֹת עַל־ כֵּ֣ן נֶאֱצַ֗ל מֵהַתַּחְתּוֹנ֛וֹת וּמֵהַתִּֽיכֹנ֖וֹת מֵהָאָֽרֶץ׃

KJV ⁷ And the wall that was without over against the chambers, toward the utter court on the forepart of the chambers, the length thereof was fifty cubits.

LSG ⁷ Le mur extérieur parallèle aux chambres, du côté du parvis extérieur, devant les chambres, avait cinquante coudées de longueur ;

WLC ⁷ וְגָדֵ֤ר אֲשֶׁר־ לַחוּץ֙ לְעֻמַּ֣ת הַלְּשָׁכ֔וֹת דֶּ֛רֶךְ הֶחָצֵ֥ר הַחִֽצוֹנָ֖ה אֶל־ פְּנֵ֣י הַלְּשָׁכ֑וֹת אָרְכּ֖וֹ חֲמִשִּׁ֥ים אַמָּֽה׃

KJV ⁸ For the length of the chambers that were in the utter court was fifty cubits: and, lo, before the temple were an hundred cubits.

LSG ⁸ car la longueur des chambres du côté du parvis extérieur était de cinquante coudées. Mais sur la face du temple il y avait cent coudées.

KJV ⁹ And from under these chambers was the entry on the east side, as one goeth into them from the utter court.

WLC ⁹ הָאֵ֑לֶּה מֵֽהַקָּדִ֔ים בְּבֹא֣וֹ לָהֵ֔נָּה מֵֽהֶחָצֵ֖ר הַחִצֹנָֽה׃

KJV ¹⁰ The chambers were in the thickness of the wall of the court toward the east, over against the separate place, and over against the building.

LSG ¹⁰ Il y avait encore des chambres sur la largeur du mur du parvis du côté de l'orient, vis-à-vis de la place vide et vis-à-vis du bâtiment.

WLC ¹⁰ בְּרֹ֣חַב ׀ גֶּ֣דֶר הֶחָצֵ֗ר דֶּ֧רֶךְ הַקָּדִ֛ים אֶל־ פְּנֵ֧י הַגִּזְרָ֛ה וְאֶל־ פְּנֵ֥י הַבִּנְיָ֖ן לְשָׁכֽוֹת׃

KJV ¹¹ And the way before them was like the appearance of the chambers which were toward the north, as long as they, and as broad as they: and all their goings out were both according to their fashions, and according to their doors.

LSG ¹¹ Devant elles, il y avait une allée, comme devant les chambres qui étaient du côté du septentrion. La longueur et la largeur étaient les mêmes ; leurs issues, leur disposition et leurs portes étaient semblables.

WLC ¹¹ וְדֶ֙רֶךְ֙ לִפְנֵיהֶ֔ם כְּמַרְאֵ֣ה הַלְּשָׁכ֗וֹת אֲשֶׁר֙ דֶּ֣רֶךְ הַצָּפ֔וֹן כְּאָרְכָּ֖ן כֵּ֣ן רָחְבָּ֑ן וְכֹל֙ מוֹצָ֣אֵיהֶ֔ן וּכְמִשְׁפְּטֵיהֶ֖ן וּכְפִתְחֵיהֶֽן׃

KJV ¹² And according to the doors of the chambers that were toward the south was a door in the head of the way, even the way directly before the wall toward the east, as one entereth into them.

LSG ¹² Il en était de même pour les portes des chambres du côté du midi. Il y avait une porte à la tête de l'allée, de l'allée qui se trouvait droit devant le mur du côté de l'orient, par où l'on y entrait.

WLC ¹² וּכְפִתְחֵ֣י הַלְּשָׁכ֗וֹת אֲשֶׁר֙ דֶּ֣רֶךְ הַדָּר֔וֹם פֶּ֖תַח בְּרֹ֣אשׁ דָּ֑רֶךְ דֶּ֗רֶךְ בִּפְנֵי֙ הַגְּדֶ֣רֶת הֲגִינָ֔ה דֶּ֥רֶךְ הַקָּדִ֖ים בְּבוֹאָֽן׃

KJV ¹³ Then said he unto me, The north chambers and the south chambers, which are before the separate place, they be holy chambers, where the priests that approach unto the LORD shall eat the most holy things: there shall they lay the most holy things, and the meat offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; for the place is holy.

LSG ¹³ Il me dit: Les chambres du septentrion et les chambres du midi, qui sont devant la place vide, ce sont les chambres saintes, où les sacrificateurs qui s'approchent de l'Éternel mangeront les choses très saintes ; ils y déposeront les choses très saintes, les offrandes, les victimes présentées dans les sacrifices d'expiation et de culpabilité ; car le lieu est saint.

WLC ¹³ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַ֗י לִֽשְׁכ֨וֹת הַצָּפ֜וֹן לִֽשְׁכ֣וֹת הַדָּרוֹם֮ אֲשֶׁ֣ר אֶל־ פְּנֵ֣י הַגִּזְרָה֒ הֵ֣נָּה ׀ לִֽשְׁכ֣וֹת הַקֹּ֗דֶשׁ אֲשֶׁ֨ר יֹאכְלוּ־ שָׁ֧ם הַכֹּהֲנִ֛ים אֲשֶׁר־ קְרוֹבִ֥ים לַֽיהוָ֖ה קָדְשֵׁ֣י הַקֳּדָשִׁ֑ים שָׁ֞ם יַנִּ֣יחוּ ׀ קָדְשֵׁ֣י הַקֳּדָשִׁ֗ים וְהַמִּנְחָה֙ וְהַחַטָּ֣את וְהָאָשָׁ֔ם כִּ֥י הַמָּק֖וֹם קָדֹֽשׁ׃

KJV ¹⁴ When the priests enter therein, then shall they not go out of the holy place into the utter court, but there they shall lay their garments wherein they minister; for they are holy; and shall put on other garments, and shall approach to those things which are for the people.

LSG ¹⁴ Quand les sacrificateurs seront entrés, ils ne sortiront pas du sanctuaire pour aller dans le parvis extérieur, mais ils déposeront là les vêtements avec lesquels ils font le service, car ces vêtements sont saints ; ils en mettront d'autres pour s'approcher du peuple.

WLC ¹⁴ בְּבֹאָ֣ם הַכֹּהֲנִ֗ים וְלֹֽא־ יֵצְא֤וּ מֵהַקֹּ֙דֶשׁ֙ אֶל־ הֶחָצֵ֣ר הַחִיצוֹנָ֔ה וְשָׁ֞ם יַנִּ֧יחוּ בִגְדֵיהֶ֛ם אֲשֶׁר־ יְשָׁרְת֥וּ בָהֶ֖ן כִּֽי־ קֹ֣דֶשׁ הֵ֑נָּה בְּגָדִ֣ים אֲחֵרִ֔ים וְקָרְב֖וּ אֶל־ אֲשֶׁ֥ר לָעָֽם׃

KJV ¹⁵ Now when he had made an end of measuring the inner house, he brought me forth toward the gate whose prospect is toward the east, and measured it round about.

LSG ¹⁵ Lorsqu'il eut achevé de mesurer la maison intérieure, il me fit sortir par la porte qui était du côté de l'orient, et il mesura l'enceinte tout autour.

KJV ¹⁶ He measured the east side with the measuring reed, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed round about.

KJV ¹⁹ He turned about to the west side, and measured five hundred reeds with the measuring reed.

KJV ²⁰ He measured it by the four sides: it had a wall round about, five hundred reeds long, and five hundred broad, to make a separation between the sanctuary and the profane place.
