KJV ¹ Then he brought me forth into the utter court, the way toward the north: and he brought me into the chamber that was over against the separate place, and which was before the building toward the north.

MAR ¹ Après cela il me fit sortir vers le parvis de dehors, par le chemin tirant vers le Septentrion ; [et] il me fit entrer vers les chambres qui étaient le long de la séparation, et qui étaient le long du bâtiment vers le Septentrion.

WLC ¹ וַיּוֹצִאֵ֗נִי אֶל־ הֶֽחָצֵר֙ הַחִ֣יצוֹנָ֔ה הַדֶּ֖רֶךְ דֶּ֣רֶךְ הַצָּפ֑וֹן וַיְבִאֵ֣נִי אֶל־ הַלִּשְׁכָּ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר נֶ֧גֶד הַגִּזְרָ֛ה וַאֲשֶֽׁר־ נֶ֥גֶד הַבִּנְיָ֖ן אֶל־ הַצָּפֽוֹן׃

KJV ² Before the length of an hundred cubits was the north door, and the breadth was fifty cubits.

MAR ² Vis-à-vis de la longueur de cent coudées il y avait une ouverture vers le Septentrion, et la largeur était de cinquante coudées.

WLC ² אֶל־ פְּנֵי־ אֹ֙רֶךְ֙ אַמּ֣וֹת הַמֵּאָ֔ה פֶּ֖תַח הַצָּפ֑וֹן וְהָרֹ֖חַב חֲמִשִּׁ֥ים אַמּֽוֹת׃

KJV ³ Over against the twenty cubits which were for the inner court, and over against the pavement which was for the utter court, was gallery against gallery in three stories.

MAR ³ Le long de vingt [coudées] qui étaient du parvis intérieur, et le long du perron qui était du parvis de dehors, il y avait des chambres vis-à-vis des autres chambres, à trois étages.

WLC ³ נֶ֣גֶד הָֽעֶשְׂרִ֗ים אֲשֶׁר֙ לֶחָצֵ֣ר הַפְּנִימִ֔י וְנֶ֣גֶד רִֽצְפָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֖ר לֶחָצֵ֣ר הַחִֽיצוֹנָ֑ה אַתִּ֥יק אֶל־ פְּנֵֽי־ אַתִּ֖יק בַּשְּׁלִשִֽׁים׃

KJV ⁴ And before the chambers was a walk to ten cubits breadth inward, a way of one cubit; and their doors toward the north.

MAR ⁴ Et au devant de ces chambres il y avait un promenoir large de dix coudées en dedans, [vers lequel] il y avait un chemin d'une coudée, [et] leurs ouvertures étaient vers le Septentrion.

WLC ⁴ וְלִפְנֵ֨י הַלְּשָׁכ֜וֹת מַהֲלַךְ֩ עֶ֨שֶׂר אַמּ֥וֹת רֹ֙חַב֙ אֶל־ הַפְּנִימִ֔ית דֶּ֖רֶךְ אַמָּ֣ה אֶחָ֑ת וּפִתְחֵיהֶ֖ם לַצָּפֽוֹן׃

KJV ⁵ Now the upper chambers were shorter: for the galleries were higher than these, than the lower, and than the middlemost of the building.

MAR ⁵ Or les chambres de dessus étaient rétrécies ; car les chambres basses et les moyennes, [desquelles était composé ce] bâtiment, s'avançaient plus que celles-là.

WLC ⁵ וְהַלְּשָׁכ֥וֹת הָעֶלְיוֹנֹ֖ת קְצֻר֑וֹת כִּֽי־ יוֹכְל֨וּ אַתִּיקִ֜ים מֵהֵ֗נָה מֵֽהַתַּחְתֹּנ֛וֹת וּמֵהַתִּֽכֹנ֖וֹת בִּנְיָֽן׃

KJV ⁶ For they were in three stories, but had not pillars as the pillars of the courts: therefore the building was straitened more than the lowest and the middlemost from the ground.

MAR ⁶ Car elles étaient à trois étages, et n'avaient point de colonnes, telles que sont les colonnes des parvis, et pour cela il avait été réservé [quelque chose] des [chambres] basses et des moyennes dès le sol [du premier étage].

WLC ⁶ כִּ֤י מְשֻׁלָּשׁוֹת֙ הֵ֔נָּה וְאֵ֤ין לָהֶן֙ עַמּוּדִ֔ים כְּעַמּוּדֵ֖י הַחֲצֵר֑וֹת עַל־ כֵּ֣ן נֶאֱצַ֗ל מֵהַתַּחְתּוֹנ֛וֹת וּמֵהַתִּֽיכֹנ֖וֹת מֵהָאָֽרֶץ׃

KJV ⁷ And the wall that was without over against the chambers, toward the utter court on the forepart of the chambers, the length thereof was fifty cubits.

MAR ⁷ Et le parquet qui était au dehors vis-à-vis des chambres, et qui avait un chemin tirant vers le parvis de dehors, vis-à-vis des chambres, avait cinquante coudées de long.

WLC ⁷ וְגָדֵ֤ר אֲשֶׁר־ לַחוּץ֙ לְעֻמַּ֣ת הַלְּשָׁכ֔וֹת דֶּ֛רֶךְ הֶחָצֵ֥ר הַחִֽצוֹנָ֖ה אֶל־ פְּנֵ֣י הַלְּשָׁכ֑וֹת אָרְכּ֖וֹ חֲמִשִּׁ֥ים אַמָּֽה׃

KJV ⁸ For the length of the chambers that were in the utter court was fifty cubits: and, lo, before the temple were an hundred cubits.

MAR ⁸ Car la longueur des chambres qu'avait le parvis de dehors, était de cinquante coudées. Et voici, il y avait cent coudées dans ce qui était vis-à-vis du Temple.

WLC ⁸ כִּֽי־ אֹ֣רֶךְ הַלְּשָׁכ֗וֹת אֲשֶׁ֛ר לֶחָצֵ֥ר הַחִֽצוֹנָ֖ה חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים אַמָּ֑ה וְהִנֵּ֛ה עַל־ פְּנֵ֥י הַהֵיכָ֖ל מֵאָ֥ה אַמָּֽה׃

KJV ⁹ And from under these chambers was the entry on the east side, as one goeth into them from the utter court.

MAR ⁹ Or au-dessous des chambres qui étaient dans ce parvis était l'endroit par lequel il était entré du côté d'Orient, quand il était venu là du parvis extérieur.

WLC ⁹ הָאֵ֑לֶּה מֵֽהַקָּדִ֔ים בְּבֹא֣וֹ לָהֵ֔נָּה מֵֽהֶחָצֵ֖ר הַחִצֹנָֽה׃

KJV ¹⁰ The chambers were in the thickness of the wall of the court toward the east, over against the separate place, and over against the building.

MAR ¹⁰ Il y avait dans la largeur, le parquet du parvis vers les chemins qui se rendaient en Orient, [et] des chambres vis-à-vis de la séparation, et vis-à-vis du bâtiment.

WLC ¹⁰ בְּרֹ֣חַב ׀ גֶּ֣דֶר הֶחָצֵ֗ר דֶּ֧רֶךְ הַקָּדִ֛ים אֶל־ פְּנֵ֧י הַגִּזְרָ֛ה וְאֶל־ פְּנֵ֥י הַבִּנְיָ֖ן לְשָׁכֽוֹת׃

KJV ¹¹ And the way before them was like the appearance of the chambers which were toward the north, as long as they, and as broad as they: and all their goings out were both according to their fashions, and according to their doors.

MAR ¹¹ Et il y avait des chemins au devant d'elles, à la façon des chambres qui étaient vers le chemin du Septentrion, et elles avaient une même longueur [et] une même largeur, et toutes les mêmes sorties, selon leurs dispositions, et selon leurs ouvertures.

WLC ¹¹ וְדֶ֙רֶךְ֙ לִפְנֵיהֶ֔ם כְּמַרְאֵ֣ה הַלְּשָׁכ֗וֹת אֲשֶׁר֙ דֶּ֣רֶךְ הַצָּפ֔וֹן כְּאָרְכָּ֖ן כֵּ֣ן רָחְבָּ֑ן וְכֹל֙ מוֹצָ֣אֵיהֶ֔ן וּכְמִשְׁפְּטֵיהֶ֖ן וּכְפִתְחֵיהֶֽן׃

KJV ¹² And according to the doors of the chambers that were toward the south was a door in the head of the way, even the way directly before the wall toward the east, as one entereth into them.

MAR ¹² Même [les ouvertures des chambres] qui étaient vers le chemin du Midi, étaient comme les ouvertures de ces chambres-là ; tellement que l'ouverture était là où commençait le chemin, [et] le chemin se rendait vis-à-vis du parquet tout accommodé, [savoir] le chemin [qui venait du parvis] d'Orient pour aller vers [les chambres].

WLC ¹² וּכְפִתְחֵ֣י הַלְּשָׁכ֗וֹת אֲשֶׁר֙ דֶּ֣רֶךְ הַדָּר֔וֹם פֶּ֖תַח בְּרֹ֣אשׁ דָּ֑רֶךְ דֶּ֗רֶךְ בִּפְנֵי֙ הַגְּדֶ֣רֶת הֲגִינָ֔ה דֶּ֥רֶךְ הַקָּדִ֖ים בְּבוֹאָֽן׃

KJV ¹³ Then said he unto me, The north chambers and the south chambers, which are before the separate place, they be holy chambers, where the priests that approach unto the LORD shall eat the most holy things: there shall they lay the most holy things, and the meat offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; for the place is holy.

MAR ¹³ Après cela il me dit : les chambres [du parvis] du Septentrion, [et] les chambres [du parvis] du Midi, qui sont le long des séparations, étant [les chambres] du lieu Saint, sont celles où les Sacrificateurs qui approchent de l'Eternel, mangeront les choses très-saintes. Ils poseront [donc] là les choses très-saintes, [savoir] les gâteaux, les oblations pour le péché, et les oblations pour le délit ; car ce lieu est saint.

WLC ¹³ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַ֗י לִֽשְׁכ֨וֹת הַצָּפ֜וֹן לִֽשְׁכ֣וֹת הַדָּרוֹם֮ אֲשֶׁ֣ר אֶל־ פְּנֵ֣י הַגִּזְרָה֒ הֵ֣נָּה ׀ לִֽשְׁכ֣וֹת הַקֹּ֗דֶשׁ אֲשֶׁ֨ר יֹאכְלוּ־ שָׁ֧ם הַכֹּהֲנִ֛ים אֲשֶׁר־ קְרוֹבִ֥ים לַֽיהוָ֖ה קָדְשֵׁ֣י הַקֳּדָשִׁ֑ים שָׁ֞ם יַנִּ֣יחוּ ׀ קָדְשֵׁ֣י הַקֳּדָשִׁ֗ים וְהַמִּנְחָה֙ וְהַחַטָּ֣את וְהָאָשָׁ֔ם כִּ֥י הַמָּק֖וֹם קָדֹֽשׁ׃

KJV ¹⁴ When the priests enter therein, then shall they not go out of the holy place into the utter court, but there they shall lay their garments wherein they minister; for they are holy; and shall put on other garments, and shall approach to those things which are for the people.

MAR ¹⁴ Quand les Sacrificateurs y seront entrés, ils ne sortiront point du lieu Saint pour [venir] au parvis extérieur, qu'ils n'aient posé là leurs habits avec lesquels ils font le service ; car ils sont saints ; et qu'ils n'aient revêtu d'autres vêtements ; alors ils s'approcheront du parvis du peuple.

WLC ¹⁴ בְּבֹאָ֣ם הַכֹּהֲנִ֗ים וְלֹֽא־ יֵצְא֤וּ מֵהַקֹּ֙דֶשׁ֙ אֶל־ הֶחָצֵ֣ר הַחִיצוֹנָ֔ה וְשָׁ֞ם יַנִּ֧יחוּ בִגְדֵיהֶ֛ם אֲשֶׁר־ יְשָׁרְת֥וּ בָהֶ֖ן כִּֽי־ קֹ֣דֶשׁ הֵ֑נָּה בְּגָדִ֣ים אֲחֵרִ֔ים וְקָרְב֖וּ אֶל־ אֲשֶׁ֥ר לָעָֽם׃

KJV ¹⁵ Now when he had made an end of measuring the inner house, he brought me forth toward the gate whose prospect is toward the east, and measured it round about.

MAR ¹⁵ Après qu'il eut achevé les mesures de la maison intérieure, il me fit sortir par le chemin de la porte qui regardait le chemin de l'Orient, puis il mesura [l'enclos qui était] tout à l'entour.

WLC ¹⁵ וְכִלָּ֗ה אֶת־ מִדּוֹת֙ הַבַּ֣יִת הַפְּנִימִ֔י וְהוֹצִיאַ֙נִי֙ דֶּ֣רֶךְ הַשַּׁ֔עַר אֲשֶׁ֥ר פָּנָ֖יו דֶּ֣רֶךְ הַקָּדִ֑ים וּמְדָד֖וֹ סָבִ֥יב ׀ סָבִֽיב׃

KJV ¹⁶ He measured the east side with the measuring reed, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed round about.

MAR ¹⁶ Il mesura [donc] le côté d'Orient avec la canne à mesurer, et il y eut tout le long cinq cents cannes, de la canne à mesurer.

WLC ¹⁶ מָדַ֛ד ר֥וּחַ הַקָּדִ֖ים בִּקְנֵ֣ה הַמִּדָּ֑ה חֲמֵשׁ־ קָנִ֛ים בִּקְנֵ֥ה הַמִּדָּ֖ה סָבִֽיב׃

KJV ¹⁷ He measured the north side, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed round about.

KJV ¹⁸ He measured the south side, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed.

KJV ¹⁹ He turned about to the west side, and measured five hundred reeds with the measuring reed.

MAR ¹⁹ Après il fit le tour du côté de l'Occident, et le mesura, et il y eut cinq cents cannes, de la canne à mesurer.

WLC ¹⁹ סָבַ֖ב אֶל־ ר֣וּחַ הַיָּ֑ם מָדַ֛ד חֲמֵשׁ־ מֵא֥וֹת קָנִ֖ים בִּקְנֵ֥ה הַמִּדָּֽה׃

KJV ²⁰ He measured it by the four sides: it had a wall round about, five hundred reeds long, and five hundred broad, to make a separation between the sanctuary and the profane place.

MAR ²⁰ Il mesura donc [cet enclos] à [ses] quatre côtés, dans lesquels il y avait une muraille tout à l'entour, et cette muraille avait à l'endroit de la longueur cinq cents [cannes], et à l'endroit de la largeur cinq cents [cannes], et [elle servait à] séparer le lieu saint d'avec le lieu profane.
