BCC ¹ Yahweh dit à Abram : « Va-t-en de ton pays, de ta famille et de la maison de ton père, dans le pays que je te montrerai.

BCC ² Je ferai de toi une grande nation, je te bénirai et je rendrai grand ton nom.

KJV ² And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

BCC ³ Tu seras une bénédiction : je bénirai ceux qui te béniront, et celui qui te maudira, je le maudirai, et toutes les familles de la terre seront bénies en toi. »

BCC ⁴ Abram partit, comme Yahweh le lui avait dit, et Lot s'en alla avec lui. Abram avait soixante-quinze ans quand il sortit de Haran.

BCC ⁵ Abram prit Saraï, sa femme, et Lot, fils de son frère, ainsi que tous les biens qu'ils possédaient et les serviteurs qu'ils avaient acquis à Haran, et ils partirent pour aller au pays de Chanaan. Et ils arrivèrent au pays de Chanaan.

KJV ⁵ And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother's son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came.

BCC ⁶ Abram traversa le pays jusqu'au lieu nommé Sichem, jusqu'au chêne de Moré. Les Chananéens étaient alors dans le pays.

KJV ⁶ And Abram passed through the land unto the place of Sichem, unto the plain of Moreh. And the Canaanite was then in the land.

BCC ⁷ Yahweh apparut à Abram et lui dit : « je donnerai ce pays à ta postérité. » Et Abram bâtit là un autel à Yahweh qui lui était apparu.

KJV ⁷ And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him.

S21 ⁷ L'Eternel apparut à Abram et dit: «C'est à ta descendance que je donnerai ce pays.» Abram construisit là un autel en l'honneur de l'Eternel qui lui était apparu.

WLC ⁷ וַיֵּרָ֤א יְהוָה֙ אֶל־ אַבְרָ֔ם וַיֹּ֕אמֶר לְזַ֨רְעֲךָ֔ אֶתֵּ֖ן אֶת־ הָאָ֣רֶץ הַזֹּ֑את וַיִּ֤בֶן שָׁם֙ מִזְבֵּ֔חַ לַיהוָ֖ה הַנִּרְאֶ֥ה אֵלָֽיו׃

BCC ⁸ Il passa de là à la montagne, à l'orient de Béthel, et il dressa sa tente, ayant Béthel au couchant et Haï à l'orient. Là encore il bâtit un autel à Yahweh, et il invoqua le nom de Yahweh.

KJV ⁸ And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, having Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he builded an altar unto the LORD, and called upon the name of the LORD.

S21 ⁸ Il partit de là vers la région montagneuse qui se trouve à l'est de Béthel et il dressa ses tentes. Béthel était à l'ouest et Aï à l'est. Là, il construisit un autel en l'honneur de l'Eternel et fit appel au nom de l'Eternel.

WLC ⁸ וַיַּעְתֵּ֨ק מִשָּׁ֜ם הָהָ֗רָה מִקֶּ֛דֶם לְבֵֽית־ אֵ֖ל וַיֵּ֣ט אָהֳלֹ֑ה בֵּֽית־ אֵ֤ל מִיָּם֙ וְהָעַ֣י מִקֶּ֔דֶם וַיִּֽבֶן־ שָׁ֤ם מִזְבֵּ֙חַ֙ לַֽיהוָ֔ה וַיִּקְרָ֖א בְּשֵׁ֥ם יְהוָֽה׃

BCC ¹⁸ Pharaon appela alors Abram et lui dit : « Qu'est-ce que tu m'as fait ? Pourquoi ne m'as-tu pas déclaré qu'elle était ta femme ?

KJV ¹⁸ And Pharaoh called Abram and said, What is this that thou hast done unto me? why didst thou not tell me that she was thy wife?

KJV ¹⁹ Why saidst thou, She is my sister? so I might have taken her to me to wife: now therefore behold thy wife, take her, and go thy way.

BCC ²⁰ Et Pharaon, ayant donné des ordres à ses gens au sujet d'Abram, ils le renvoyèrent, lui et sa femme, et tout ce qui lui appartenait.
