BAN ¹⁰ Et l'ange de l'Eternel lui dit : Je te donnerai une postérité extrêmement nombreuse, si nombreuse qu'on ne la comptera pas.

KJV ¹⁰ And the angel of the LORD said unto her, I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.

WLC ¹⁰ וַיֹּ֤אמֶר לָהּ֙ מַלְאַ֣ךְ יְהוָ֔ה הַרְבָּ֥ה אַרְבֶּ֖ה אֶת־ זַרְעֵ֑ךְ וְלֹ֥א יִסָּפֵ֖ר מֵרֹֽב׃

BAN ¹¹ Et l'ange de l'Eternel lui dit : Voici tu es enceinte et tu enfanteras un fils ; tu le nommeras Ismaël, parce que l'Eternel a entendu ton affliction.

KJV ¹¹ And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold, thou art with child and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction.

WLC ¹¹ וַיֹּ֤אמֶר לָהּ֙ מַלְאַ֣ךְ יְהוָ֔ה הִנָּ֥ךְ הָרָ֖ה וְיֹלַ֣דְתְּ בֵּ֑ן וְקָרָ֤את שְׁמוֹ֙ יִשְׁמָעֵ֔אל כִּֽי־ שָׁמַ֥ע יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־ עָנְיֵֽךְ׃

BAN ¹² Ce sera un âne sauvage que cet homme ; sa main sera contre chacun, et la main de chacun sera contre lui, et il dressera ses tentes à la face de tous ses frères.

KJV ¹² And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.

WLC ¹² וְה֤וּא יִהְיֶה֙ פֶּ֣רֶא אָדָ֔ם יָד֣וֹ בַכֹּ֔ל וְיַ֥ד כֹּ֖ל בּ֑וֹ וְעַל־ פְּנֵ֥י כָל־ אֶחָ֖יו יִשְׁכֹּֽן׃
