BAN ¹⁹ Et quand le maître de Joseph eut entendu les paroles de sa femme, qui lui disait : Voilà ce que m'a fait ton serviteur, sa colère s'enflamma.

KJV ¹⁹ And it came to pass, when his master heard the words of his wife, which she spake unto him, saying, After this manner did thy servant to me; that his wrath was kindled.

BAN ²⁰ Et le maître de Joseph le prit et le mit dans la prison ; c'était le lieu où étaient détenus les prisonniers du roi. Il fut là dans la prison.

KJV ²⁰ And Joseph's master took him, and put him into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners were bound: and he was there in the prison.

BAN ²¹ Et l'Eternel fut avec Joseph, et il étendit sur lui sa bonté et lui concilia la faveur du gouverneur de la prison.

KJV ²¹ But the LORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison.

BAN ²² Et le gouverneur de la prison confia à Joseph tous les prisonniers qui étaient dans la prison ; et tout ce qui s'y faisait, c'était lui qui le faisait.

KJV ²² And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph's hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it.

BAN ²³ Le gouverneur de la prison ne prenait connaissance de rien de tout ce que Joseph avait en mains, parce que l'Eternel était avec lui et que l'Eternel faisait réussir ce qu'il faisait.

KJV ²³ The keeper of the prison looked not to any thing that was under his hand; because the LORD was with him, and that which he did, the LORD made it to prosper.
