KJV ⁷ And it came to pass after these things, that his master's wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me.

WLC ⁷ וַיְהִ֗י אַחַר֙ הַדְּבָרִ֣ים הָאֵ֔לֶּה וַתִּשָּׂ֧א אֵֽשֶׁת־ אֲדֹנָ֛יו אֶת־ עֵינֶ֖יהָ אֶל־ יוֹסֵ֑ף וַתֹּ֖אמֶר שִׁכְבָ֥ה עִמִּֽי׃

KJV ⁸ But he refused, and said unto his master's wife, Behold, my master wotteth not what is with me in the house, and he hath committed all that he hath to my hand;

VULC ⁸ Qui nequaquam acquiescens operi nefario, dixit ad eam : Ecce dominus meus, omnibus mihi traditis, ignorat quid habeat in domo sua :

WLC ⁸ וַיְמָאֵ֓ן ׀ וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ אֶל־ אֵ֣שֶׁת אֲדֹנָ֔יו הֵ֣ן אֲדֹנִ֔י לֹא־ יָדַ֥ע אִתִּ֖י מַה־ בַּבָּ֑יִת וְכֹ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־ יֶשׁ־ ל֖וֹ נָתַ֥ן בְּיָדִֽי׃

KJV ⁹ There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?

VULC ⁹ nec quidquam est quod non in mea sit potestate, vel non tradiderit mihi, præter te, quæ uxor ejus es : quomodo ergo possum hoc malum facere, et peccare in Deum meum ?

WLC ⁹ אֵינֶ֨נּוּ גָד֜וֹל בַּבַּ֣יִת הַזֶּה֮ מִמֶּנִּי֒ וְלֹֽא־ חָשַׂ֤ךְ מִמֶּ֙נִּי֙ מְא֔וּמָה כִּ֥י אִם־ אוֹתָ֖ךְ בַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר אַתְּ־ אִשְׁתּ֑וֹ וְאֵ֨יךְ אֶֽעֱשֶׂ֜ה הָרָעָ֤ה הַגְּדֹלָה֙ הַזֹּ֔את וְחָטָ֖אתִי לֵֽאלֹהִֽים׃

KJV ¹⁰ And it came to pass, as she spake to Joseph day by day, that he hearkened not unto her, to lie by her, or to be with her.

VULC ¹⁰ Hujuscemodi verbis per singulos dies, et mulier molesta erat adolescenti : et ille recusabat stuprum.

WLC ¹⁰ וַיְהִ֕י כְּדַבְּרָ֥הּ אֶל־ יוֹסֵ֖ף י֣וֹם ׀ י֑וֹם וְלֹא־ שָׁמַ֥ע אֵלֶ֛יהָ לִשְׁכַּ֥ב אֶצְלָ֖הּ לִהְי֥וֹת עִמָּֽהּ׃
