KJV ¹⁴ Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.

KJV ¹⁵ And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.

KJV ¹⁶ A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it.

KJV ¹⁷ And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.

KJV ²¹ And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou shalt gather it to thee; and it shall be for food for thee, and for them.

KJV ¹⁹ And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered.

KJV ²⁰ Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered.

KJV ²² All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.

KJV ²³ And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.

OST ²³ Tous les êtres qui étaient sur la face de la terre furent exterminés, depuis les hommes jusqu'aux bêtes, jusqu'aux reptiles, et jusqu'aux oiseaux des cieux, et ils furent exterminés de dessus la terre. Il ne resta que Noé, et ce qui était avec lui dans l'arche.

KJV ²⁴ And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.

KJV ¹ And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged;

KJV ² The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained;

KJV ³ And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated.

KJV ⁴ And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.

KJV ⁵ And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen.

KJV ⁶ And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made:

KJV ⁷ And he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth.

KJV ⁸ Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground;

VULC ⁸ Emisit quoque columbam post eum, ut videret si jam cessassent aquæ super faciem terræ.

WLC ⁸ וַיְשַׁלַּ֥ח אֶת־ הַיּוֹנָ֖ה מֵאִתּ֑וֹ לִרְאוֹת֙ הֲקַ֣לּוּ הַמַּ֔יִם מֵעַ֖ל פְּנֵ֥י הָֽאֲדָמָֽה׃

KJV ⁹ But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.

OST ⁹ Mais la colombe ne trouva pas où poser la plante de son pied, et elle retourna vers lui dans l'arche; car il y avait de l'eau à la surface de toute la terre. Et Noé avança sa main, la prit, et la ramena vers lui dans l'arche.

VULC ⁹ Quæ cum non invenisset ubi requiesceret pes ejus, reversa est ad eum in arcam : aquæ enim erant super universam terram : extenditque manum, et apprehensam intulit in arcam.

WLC ⁹ וְלֹֽא־ מָצְאָה֩ הַיּוֹנָ֨ה מָנ֜וֹחַ לְכַף־ רַגְלָ֗הּ וַתָּ֤שָׁב אֵלָיו֙ אֶל־ הַתֵּבָ֔ה כִּי־ מַ֖יִם עַל־ פְּנֵ֣י כָל־ הָאָ֑רֶץ וַיִּשְׁלַ֤ח יָדוֹ֙ וַיִּקָּחֶ֔הָ וַיָּבֵ֥א אֹתָ֛הּ אֵלָ֖יו אֶל־ הַתֵּבָֽה׃

KJV ¹⁰ And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark;

KJV ¹¹ And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.

KJV ¹² And he stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove; which returned not again unto him any more.

KJV ¹³ And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.

KJV ¹⁴ And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried.

KJV ²⁰ And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

KJV ²¹ And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.

WLC ²¹ וַיָּ֣רַח יְהוָה֮ אֶת־ רֵ֣יחַ הַנִּיחֹחַ֒ וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֜ה אֶל־ לִבּ֗וֹ לֹֽא־ אֹ֠סִף לְקַלֵּ֨ל ע֤וֹד אֶת־ הָֽאֲדָמָה֙ בַּעֲב֣וּר הָֽאָדָ֔ם כִּ֠י יֵ֣צֶר לֵ֧ב הָאָדָ֛ם רַ֖ע מִנְּעֻרָ֑יו וְלֹֽא־ אֹסִ֥ף ע֛וֹד לְהַכּ֥וֹת אֶת־ כָּל־ חַ֖י כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשִֽׂיתִי׃

KJV ²² While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
