TR1550 ⁵ καὶ ἐκλέλησθε τῆς παρακλήσεως ἥτις ὑμῖν ὡς υἱοῖς διαλέγεται υἱέ μου μὴ ὀλιγώρει παιδείας κυρίου μηδὲ ἐκλύου ὑπ᾽ αὐτοῦ ἐλεγχόμενος

KJV ⁶ For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

TR1550 ⁶ ὃν γὰρ ἀγαπᾷ κύριος παιδεύει μαστιγοῖ δὲ πάντα υἱὸν ὃν παραδέχεται

KJV ⁷ If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
