KJV ³ O my mountain in the field, I will give thy substance and all thy treasures to the spoil, and thy high places for sin, throughout all thy borders.

S21 ³ Je livre au pillage ma montagne et sa campagne, tes biens, tous tes trésors
et tes hauts lieux à cause du péché commis sur tout ton territoire.

WLC ³ הֲרָרִי֙ בַּשָּׂדֶ֔ה חֵילְךָ֥ כָל־ אוֹצְרוֹתֶ֖יךָ לָבַ֣ז אֶתֵּ֑ן בָּמֹתֶ֕יךָ בְּחַטָּ֖את בְּכָל־ גְּבוּלֶֽיךָ׃

KJV ⁴ And thou, even thyself, shalt discontinue from thine heritage that I gave thee; and I will cause thee to serve thine enemies in the land which thou knowest not: for ye have kindled a fire in mine anger, which shall burn for ever.

S21 ⁴ Par ta faute, tu devras renoncer à l'héritage que je t'avais donné.
Je te rendrai esclave de tes ennemis dans un pays que tu ne connais pas,
car vous avez allumé le feu de ma colère, et il brûlera toujours.

KJV ⁵ Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.

Maudit soit l'homme qui fait confiance à ce qui est humain,
qui prend des créatures pour appui
et qui détourne son cœur de l'Eternel!

KJV ⁶ For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.

S21 ⁶ Il est pareil à un genévrier dans la plaine:
il ne voit rien venir de bon,
il habite les endroits brûlés du désert,
une terre salée et sans habitants.

KJV ⁷ Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.

et qui place son espérance en lui!

WLC ⁷ בָּר֣וּךְ הַגֶּ֔בֶר אֲשֶׁ֥ר יִבְטַ֖ח בַּֽיהוָ֑ה וְהָיָ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה מִבְטַחֽוֹ׃

KJV ⁸ For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

S21 ⁸ Il ressemble à un arbre planté près de l'eau
et qui étend ses racines vers le cours d'eau:
il ne s'aperçoit pas de la venue de la chaleur
et son feuillage reste vert.
Lors d'une année de sécheresse, il ne redoute rien
et il ne cesse pas de porter du fruit.

KJV ⁹ The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

KJV ¹⁰ I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

KJV ¹¹ As the partridge sitteth on eggs, and hatcheth them not; so he that getteth riches, and not by right, shall leave them in the midst of his days, and at his end shall be a fool.

KJV ¹² A glorious high throne from the beginning is the place of our sanctuary.

KJV ¹³ O LORD, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living waters.

KJV ¹⁸ Let them be confounded that persecute me, but let not me be confounded: let them be dismayed, but let not me be dismayed: bring upon them the day of evil, and destroy them with double destruction.

KJV ²¹ Thus saith the LORD; Take heed to yourselves, and bear no burden on the sabbath day, nor bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem;

KJV ²² Neither carry forth a burden out of your houses on the sabbath day, neither do ye any work, but hallow ye the sabbath day, as I commanded your fathers.

S21 ²² Ne sortez de chez vous aucun fardeau, le jour du sabbat, et n'accomplissez aucun travail, mais faites de ce jour un jour saint, comme je l'ai ordonné à vos ancêtres.'

KJV ²³ But they obeyed not, neither inclined their ear, but made their neck stiff, that they might not hear, nor receive instruction.

S21 ²³ »Ils n'ont pas écouté, ils n'ont pas tendu l'oreille. Ils se sont montrés réfractaires au lieu de m'écouter et de tenir compte de la correction.

WLC ²³ וְלֹ֣א שָֽׁמְע֔וּ וְלֹ֥א הִטּ֖וּ אֶת־ אָזְנָ֑ם וַיַּקְשׁוּ֙ אֶת־ עָרְפָּ֔ם לְבִלְתִּ֣י וּלְבִלְתִּ֖י קַ֥חַת מוּסָֽר׃

KJV ²⁴ And it shall come to pass, if ye diligently hearken unto me, saith the LORD, to bring in no burden through the gates of this city on the sabbath day, but hallow the sabbath day, to do no work therein;

S21 ²⁴ »Si vous m'écoutez vraiment, déclare l'Eternel, si vous n'introduisez pas de fardeau par les portes de cette ville le jour du sabbat, si vous faites de ce jour un jour saint et n'accomplissez aucun travail ce jour-là,

WLC ²⁴ וְ֠הָיָה אִם־ שָׁמֹ֨עַ תִּשְׁמְע֤וּן אֵלַי֙ נְאֻם־ יְהוָ֔ה לְבִלְתִּ֣י ׀ הָבִ֣יא מַשָּׂ֗א בְּשַׁעֲרֵ֛י הָעִ֥יר הַזֹּ֖את בְּי֣וֹם הַשַּׁבָּ֑ת וּלְקַדֵּשׁ֙ אֶת־ י֣וֹם הַשַּׁבָּ֔ת לְבִלְתִּ֥י עֲשֽׂוֹת־ כָּל־ מְלָאכָֽה׃

KJV ²⁵ Then shall there enter into the gates of this city kings and princes sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, they, and their princes, the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem: and this city shall remain for ever.

S21 ²⁵ alors les rois et les princes qui siègent sur le trône de David continueront à entrer par les portes de cette ville, montés sur des chars et des chevaux, ainsi que leurs princes, les Judéens et les habitants de Jérusalem, et cette ville restera pour toujours habitée.

WLC ²⁵ וּבָ֣אוּ בְשַׁעֲרֵ֣י הָעִ֣יר הַזֹּ֡את מְלָכִ֣ים ׀ וְשָׂרִ֡ים יֹשְׁבִים֩ עַל־ כִּסֵּ֨א דָוִ֜ד רֹכְבִ֣ים ׀ בָּרֶ֣כֶב וּבַסּוּסִ֗ים הֵ֚מָּה וְשָׂ֣רֵיהֶ֔ם אִ֥ישׁ יְהוּדָ֖ה וְיֹשְׁבֵ֣י יְרוּשָׁלִָ֑ם וְיָשְׁבָ֥ה הָֽעִיר־ הַזֹּ֖את לְעוֹלָֽם׃

KJV ²⁶ And they shall come from the cities of Judah, and from the places about Jerusalem, and from the land of Benjamin, and from the plain, and from the mountains, and from the south, bringing burnt offerings, and sacrifices, and meat offerings, and incense, and bringing sacrifices of praise, unto the house of the LORD.

S21 ²⁶ Les habitants des villes de Juda et des environs de Jérusalem, ceux du pays de Benjamin, de la plaine, de la montagne et du sud entreront pour offrir des holocaustes et d'autres sacrifices, des offrandes végétales et de l'encens, et pour offrir des sacrifices de reconnaissance dans la maison de l'Eternel.

WLC ²⁶ וּבָ֣אוּ מֵעָרֵֽי־ יְ֠הוּדָה וּמִסְּבִיב֨וֹת יְרוּשָׁלִַ֜ם וּמֵאֶ֣רֶץ בִּנְיָמִ֗ן וּמִן־ הַשְּׁפֵלָ֤ה וּמִן־ הָהָר֙ וּמִן־ הַנֶּ֔גֶב מְבִאִ֛ים עוֹלָ֥ה וְזֶ֖בַח וּמִנְחָ֣ה וּלְבוֹנָ֑ה וּמְבִאֵ֥י תוֹדָ֖ה בֵּ֥ית יְהוָֽה׃

KJV ²⁷ But if ye will not hearken unto me to hallow the sabbath day, and not to bear a burden, even entering in at the gates of Jerusalem on the sabbath day; then will I kindle a fire in the gates thereof, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched.

S21 ²⁷ »En revanche, si vous ne m'écoutez pas et ne faites pas du jour du sabbat un jour saint en ne portant aucun fardeau, en n'en introduisant aucun par les portes de Jérusalem le jour du sabbat, alors je mettrai le feu aux portes de la ville. Il dévorera les palais de Jérusalem et ne s'éteindra pas.»

WLC ²⁷ וְאִם־ לֹ֨א תִשְׁמְע֜וּ אֵלַ֗י לְקַדֵּשׁ֙ אֶת־ י֣וֹם הַשַּׁבָּ֔ת וּלְבִלְתִּ֣י ׀ שְׂאֵ֣ת מַשָּׂ֗א וּבֹ֛א בְּשַׁעֲרֵ֥י יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם בְּי֣וֹם הַשַּׁבָּ֑ת וְהִצַּ֧תִּי אֵ֣שׁ בִּשְׁעָרֶ֗יהָ וְאָֽכְלָ֛ה אַרְמְנ֥וֹת יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם וְלֹ֥א תִכְבֶּֽה׃
