BAN ¹ Voici les rois du pays que battirent les fils d'Israël et dont ils conquirent le pays au-delà du Jourdain, du côté du soleil levant, depuis la rivière d'Arnon jusqu'au mont Hermon, et toute la plaine à l'orient :

BAN ² Sihon, roi des Amorrhéens, résidant à Hesbon ; il dominait sur Aroër, sur les bords du torrent d'Arnon à partir du milieu de la vallée, et sur la moitié de Galaad jusqu'au torrent de Jabbok, frontière des fils d'Ammon ;

KJV ² Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon, and ruled from Aroer, which is upon the bank of the river Arnon, and from the middle of the river, and from half Gilead, even unto the river Jabbok, which is the border of the children of Ammon;

VULC ² Sehon rex Amorrhæorum, qui habitavit in Hesebon, dominatus est ab Aroër, quæ sita est super ripam torrentis Arnon, et mediæ partis in valle, dimidiæque Galaad, usque ad torrentem Jaboc, qui est terminus filiorum Ammon.

BAN ³ sur la plaine, jusqu'à la mer de Kinnaroth à l'orient, et jusqu'à la mer de la Plaine, la mer Salée, à l'orient, du côté de Beth-Jésimoth, et au midi au pied des pentes, du Pisga.

KJV ³ And from the plain to the sea of Chinneroth on the east, and unto the sea of the plain, even the salt sea on the east, the way to Bethjeshimoth; and from the south, under Ashdothpisgah:

BAN ⁵ il dominait sur la montagne de Hermon, sur Salca et tout Basan jusqu'à la frontière des Guessuriens et des Maacathiens, et jusqu'à la moitié de Galaad, territoire de Sihon, roi de Hesbon.

KJV ⁵ And reigned in mount Hermon, and in Salcah, and in all Bashan, unto the border of the Geshurites and the Maachathites, and half Gilead, the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.
