DRB ¹ Et le lot échut aux fils de Joseph depuis le Jourdain de Jéricho, jusqu'aux eaux de Jéricho, vers le levant, [vers] le désert qui monte de Jéricho à la montagne de Béthel.

KJV ¹ And the lot of the children of Joseph fell from Jordan by Jericho, unto the water of Jericho on the east, to the wilderness that goeth up from Jericho throughout mount Bethel,

WLC ¹ וַיֵּצֵ֨א הַגּוֹרָ֜ל לִבְנֵ֤י יוֹסֵף֙ מִיַּרְדֵּ֣ן יְרִיח֔וֹ לְמֵ֥י יְרִיח֖וֹ מִזְרָ֑חָה הַמִּדְבָּ֗ר עֹלֶ֧ה מִירִיח֛וֹ בָּהָ֖ר בֵּֽית־ אֵֽל׃

DRB ² Et [la frontière] sortait de Béthel vers Luz, et passait vers la frontière de l'Arkite à Ataroth,

KJV ² And goeth out from Bethel to Luz, and passeth along unto the borders of Archi to Ataroth,

VULC ² et egreditur de Bethel Luza : transitque terminum Archi, Ataroth :

WLC ² וְיָצָ֥א מִבֵּֽית־ אֵ֖ל ל֑וּזָה וְעָבַ֛ר אֶל־ גְּב֥וּל הָאַרְכִּ֖י עֲטָרֽוֹת׃

DRB ³ et elle descendait vers l'occident, à la frontière des Japhlétiens, jusqu'à la frontière de Beth-Horon la basse, et jusqu'à Guézer, et aboutissait à la mer.

KJV ³ And goeth down westward to the coast of Japhleti, unto the coast of Bethhoron the nether, and to Gezer; and the goings out thereof are at the sea.

VULC ³ et descendit ad occidentem juxta terminum Jephleti, usque ad terminos Bethoron inferioris, et Gazer : finiunturque regiones ejus mari magno :

WLC ³ וְיָֽרַד־ יָ֜מָּה אֶל־ גְּב֣וּל הַיַּפְלֵטִ֗י עַ֣ד גְּב֧וּל בֵּית־ חוֹרֹ֛ן תַּחְתּ֖וֹן וְעַד־ גָּ֑זֶר וְהָי֥וּ יָֽמָּה׃

DRB ⁴ Et les fils de Joseph, Manassé et Éphraïm, eurent [cela pour] héritage.

KJV ⁴ So the children of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, took their inheritance.

VULC ⁴ possederuntque filii Joseph, Manasses et Ephraim.

WLC ⁴ וַיִּנְחֲל֥וּ בְנֵי־ יוֹסֵ֖ף מְנַשֶּׁ֥ה וְאֶפְרָֽיִם׃

DRB ⁵ Et le territoire des fils d'Éphraïm fut selon leurs familles : la frontière de leur héritage vers le levant était Ataroth-Addar, jusqu'à Beth-Horon la haute.

KJV ⁵ And the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families was thus: even the border of their inheritance on the east side was Atarothaddar, unto Bethhoron the upper;

VULC ⁵ Et factus est terminus filiorum Ephraim per cognationes suas : et possessio eorum contra orientem Ataroth Addar usque Bethoron superiorem.

WLC ⁵ וַיְהִ֛י גְּב֥וּל בְּנֵֽי־ אֶפְרַ֖יִם לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֑ם וַיְהִ֞י גְּב֤וּל נַחֲלָתָם֙ מִזְרָ֔חָה עַטְר֣וֹת אַדָּ֔ר עַד־ בֵּ֥ית חוֹרֹ֖ן עֶלְיֽוֹן׃

DRB ⁶ Et la frontière sortait à l'occident vers Micmethath, au nord ; et la frontière tournait vers l'orient, jusqu'à Thaanath-Silo, et la dépassait vers l'orient, vers Janokha,

KJV ⁶ And the border went out toward the sea to Michmethah on the north side; and the border went about eastward unto Taanathshiloh, and passed by it on the east to Janohah;

VULC ⁶ Egrediunturque confinia in mare : Machmethath vero aquilonem respicit, et circuit terminos contra orientem in Thanathselo : et pertransit ab oriente Janoë.

WLC ⁶ וְיָצָ֨א הַגְּב֜וּל הַיָּ֗מָּה הַֽמִּכְמְתָת֙ מִצָּפ֔וֹן וְנָסַ֧ב הַגְּב֛וּל מִזְרָ֖חָה תַּאֲנַ֣ת שִׁלֹ֑ה וְעָבַ֣ר אוֹת֔וֹ מִמִּזְרַ֖ח יָנֽוֹחָה׃

DRB ⁷ et descendait de Janokha à Ataroth et à Naaratha, et touchait à Jéricho, et aboutissait au Jourdain.

KJV ⁷ And it went down from Janohah to Ataroth, and to Naarath, and came to Jericho, and went out at Jordan.

VULC ⁷ Descenditque de Janoë in Ataroth et Naaratha : et pervenit in Jericho, egrediturque ad Jordanem.

WLC ⁷ וְיָרַ֥ד מִיָּנ֖וֹחָה עֲטָר֣וֹת וְנַעֲרָ֑תָה וּפָגַע֙ בִּֽירִיח֔וֹ וְיָצָ֖א הַיַּרְדֵּֽן׃

DRB ⁸ Depuis Tappuakh la frontière allait vers l'occident, au torrent de Kana, et aboutissait à la mer. Ce fut là l'héritage de la tribu des fils d'Éphraïm, selon leurs familles,

KJV ⁸ The border went out from Tappuah westward unto the river Kanah; and the goings out thereof were at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim by their families.

VULC ⁸ De Taphua pertransit contra mare in vallem arundineti, suntque egressus ejus in mare salsissimum. Hæc est possessio tribus filiorum Ephraim per familias suas.

WLC ⁸ מִתַּפּ֜וּחַ יֵלֵ֨ךְ הַגְּב֥וּל יָ֙מָּה֙ נַ֣חַל קָנָ֔ה וְהָי֥וּ תֹצְאֹתָ֖יו הַיָּ֑מָּה זֹ֗את נַחֲלַ֛ת מַטֵּ֥ה בְנֵי־ אֶפְרַ֖יִם לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָֽם׃

DRB ⁹ avec les villes qui furent séparées pour les fils d'Éphraïm, au milieu de l'héritage des fils de Manassé, toutes ces villes et leurs hameaux.

KJV ⁹ And the separate cities for the children of Ephraim were among the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.

VULC ⁹ Urbesque separatæ sunt filiis Ephraim in medio possessionis filiorum Manasse, et villæ earum.

WLC ⁹ וְהֶעָרִ֗ים הַמִּבְדָּלוֹת֙ לִבְנֵ֣י אֶפְרַ֔יִם בְּת֖וֹךְ נַחֲלַ֣ת בְּנֵֽי־ מְנַשֶּׁ֑ה כָּֽל־ הֶעָרִ֖ים וְחַצְרֵיהֶֽן׃

DRB ¹⁰ Mais ils ne dépossédèrent pas le Cananéen qui habitait à Guézer ; et le Cananéen a habité au milieu d'Éphraïm jusqu'à ce jour ; et il a été asservi au tribut.

KJV ¹⁰ And they drave not out the Canaanites that dwelt in Gezer: but the Canaanites dwell among the Ephraimites unto this day, and serve under tribute.

VULC ¹⁰ Et non interfecerunt filii Ephraim Chananæum, qui habitabat in Gazer : habitavitque Chananæus in medio Ephraim usque in diem hanc tributarius.

WLC ¹⁰ וְלֹ֣א הוֹרִ֔ישׁוּ אֶת־ הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֖י הַיּוֹשֵׁ֣ב בְּגָ֑זֶר וַיֵּ֨שֶׁב הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֜י בְּקֶ֤רֶב אֶפְרַ֙יִם֙ עַד־ הַיּ֣וֹם הַזֶּ֔ה וַיְהִ֖י לְמַס־ עֹבֵֽד׃
