KJV ¹ And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

KJV ² This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing: He shall be brought unto the priest:

VULC ² Hic est ritus leprosi, quando mundandus est. Adducetur ad sacerdotem :

WLC ² זֹ֤את תִּֽהְיֶה֙ תּוֹרַ֣ת הַמְּצֹרָ֔ע בְּי֖וֹם טָהֳרָת֑וֹ וְהוּבָ֖א אֶל־ הַכֹּהֵֽן׃

KJV ³ And the priest shall go forth out of the camp; and the priest shall look, and, behold, if the plague of leprosy be healed in the leper;

VULC ³ qui egressus de castris, cum invenerit lepram esse mundatam,

WLC ³ וְיָצָא֙ הַכֹּהֵ֔ן אֶל־ מִח֖וּץ לַֽמַּחֲנֶ֑ה וְרָאָה֙ הַכֹּהֵ֔ן וְהִנֵּ֛ה נִרְפָּ֥א נֶֽגַע־ הַצָּרַ֖עַת מִן־ הַצָּרֽוּעַ׃

KJV ⁴ Then shall the priest command to take for him that is to be cleansed two birds alive and clean, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:

VULC ⁴ præcipiet ei, qui purificatur, ut offerat duos passeres vivos pro se, quibus vesci licitum est, et lignum cedrinum, vermiculumque et hyssopum.

WLC ⁴ וְצִוָּה֙ הַכֹּהֵ֔ן וְלָקַ֧ח לַמִּטַּהֵ֛ר שְׁתֵּֽי־ צִפֳּרִ֥ים חַיּ֖וֹת טְהֹר֑וֹת וְעֵ֣ץ אֶ֔רֶז וּשְׁנִ֥י תוֹלַ֖עַת וְאֵזֹֽב׃

KJV ⁵ And the priest shall command that one of the birds be killed in an earthen vessel over running water:

VULC ⁵ Et unum ex passeribus immolari jubebit in vase fictili super aquas viventes :

WLC ⁵ וְצִוָּה֙ הַכֹּהֵ֔ן וְשָׁחַ֖ט אֶת־ הַצִּפּ֣וֹר הָאֶחָ֑ת אֶל־ כְּלִי־ חֶ֖רֶשׂ עַל־ מַ֥יִם חַיִּֽים׃

KJV ⁶ As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water:

VULC ⁶ alium autem vivum cum ligno cedrino, et cocco et hyssopo, tinget in sanguine passeris immolati,

WLC ⁶ אֶת־ הַצִּפֹּ֤ר הַֽחַיָּה֙ יִקַּ֣ח אֹתָ֔הּ וְאֶת־ עֵ֥ץ הָאֶ֛רֶז וְאֶת־ שְׁנִ֥י הַתּוֹלַ֖עַת וְאֶת־ הָאֵזֹ֑ב וְטָבַ֨ל אוֹתָ֜ם וְאֵ֣ת ׀ הַצִּפֹּ֣ר הַֽחַיָּ֗ה בְּדַם֙ הַצִּפֹּ֣ר הַשְּׁחֻטָ֔ה עַ֖ל הַמַּ֥יִם הַֽחַיִּֽים׃

KJV ⁷ And he shall sprinkle upon him that is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird loose into the open field.

VULC ⁷ quo asperget illum, qui mundandus est, septies, ut jure purgetur : et dimittet passerem vivum, ut in agrum avolet.

WLC ⁷ וְהִזָּ֗ה עַ֧ל הַמִּטַּהֵ֛ר מִן־ הַצָּרַ֖עַת שֶׁ֣בַע פְּעָמִ֑ים וְטִ֣הֲר֔וֹ וְשִׁלַּ֛ח אֶת־ הַצִּפֹּ֥ר הַֽחַיָּ֖ה עַל־ פְּנֵ֥י הַשָּׂדֶֽה׃

KJV ⁸ And he that is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and wash himself in water, that he may be clean: and after that he shall come into the camp, and shall tarry abroad out of his tent seven days.

VULC ⁸ Cumque laverit homo vestimenta sua, radet omnes pilos corporis, et lavabitur aqua : purificatusque ingredietur castra, ita dumtaxat ut maneat extra tabernaculum suum septem diebus,

WLC ⁸ וְכִבֶּס֩ הַמִּטַּהֵ֨ר אֶת־ בְּגָדָ֜יו וְגִלַּ֣ח אֶת־ כָּל־ שְׂעָר֗וֹ וְרָחַ֤ץ בַּמַּ֙יִם֙ וְטָהֵ֔ר וְאַחַ֖ר יָב֣וֹא אֶל־ הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֑ה וְיָשַׁ֛ב מִח֥וּץ לְאָהֳל֖וֹ שִׁבְעַ֥ת יָמִֽים׃

KJV ⁹ But it shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off: and he shall wash his clothes, also he shall wash his flesh in water, and he shall be clean.

VULC ⁹ et die septimo radet capillos capitis, barbamque et supercilia, ac totius corporis pilos. Et lotis rursum vestibus et corpore,

WLC ⁹ וְהָיָה֩ בַיּ֨וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֜י יְגַלַּ֣ח אֶת־ כָּל־ שְׂעָר֗וֹ אֶת־ רֹאשׁ֤וֹ וְאֶת־ זְקָנוֹ֙ וְאֵת֙ גַּבֹּ֣ת עֵינָ֔יו וְאֶת־ כָּל־ שְׂעָר֖וֹ יְגַלֵּ֑חַ וְכִבֶּ֣ס אֶת־ בְּגָדָ֗יו וְרָחַ֧ץ אֶת־ בְּשָׂר֛וֹ בַּמַּ֖יִם וְטָהֵֽר׃

KJV ¹⁰ And on the eighth day he shall take two he lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb of the first year without blemish, and three tenth deals of fine flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, and one log of oil.

VULC ¹⁰ die octavo assumet duos agnos immaculatos, et ovem anniculam absque macula, et tres decimas similæ in sacrificium, quæ conspersa sit oleo, et seorsum olei sextarium.

WLC ¹⁰ וּבַיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁמִינִ֗י יִקַּ֤ח שְׁנֵֽי־ כְבָשִׂים֙ תְּמִימִ֔ים וְכַבְשָׂ֥ה אַחַ֛ת בַּת־ שְׁנָתָ֖הּ תְּמִימָ֑ה וּשְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה עֶשְׂרֹנִ֗ים סֹ֤לֶת מִנְחָה֙ בְּלוּלָ֣ה בַשֶּׁ֔מֶן וְלֹ֥ג אֶחָ֖ד שָֽׁמֶן׃

KJV ¹¹ And the priest that maketh him clean shall present the man that is to be made clean, and those things, before the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:

VULC ¹¹ Cumque sacerdos purificans hominem, statuerit eum, et hæc omnia coram Domino in ostio tabernaculi testimonii,

WLC ¹¹ וְהֶעֱמִ֞יד הַכֹּהֵ֣ן הַֽמְטַהֵ֗ר אֵ֛ת הָאִ֥ישׁ הַמִּטַּהֵ֖ר וְאֹתָ֑ם לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה פֶּ֖תַח אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃

KJV ¹² And the priest shall take one he lamb, and offer him for a trespass offering, and the log of oil, and wave them for a wave offering before the LORD:

VULC ¹² tollet agnum et offeret eum pro delicto, oleique sextarium : et oblatis ante Dominum omnibus,

WLC ¹² וְלָקַ֨ח הַכֹּהֵ֜ן אֶת־ הַכֶּ֣בֶשׂ הָאֶחָ֗ד וְהִקְרִ֥יב אֹת֛וֹ לְאָשָׁ֖ם וְאֶת־ לֹ֣ג הַשָּׁ֑מֶן וְהֵנִ֥יף אֹתָ֛ם תְּנוּפָ֖ה לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָֽה׃

KJV ¹³ And he shall slay the lamb in the place where he shall kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the holy place: for as the sin offering is the priest's, so is the trespass offering: it is most holy:

VULC ¹³ immolabit agnum, ubi solet immolari hostia pro peccato, et holocaustum, id est, in loco sancto. Sicut enim pro peccato, ita et pro delicto ad sacerdotem pertinet hostia : Sancta sanctorum est.

WLC ¹³ וְשָׁחַ֣ט אֶת־ הַכֶּ֗בֶשׂ בִּ֠מְקוֹם אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִשְׁחַ֧ט אֶת־ הַֽחַטָּ֛את וְאֶת־ הָעֹלָ֖ה בִּמְק֣וֹם הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ כִּ֡י כַּ֠חַטָּאת הָאָשָׁ֥ם הוּא֙ לַכֹּהֵ֔ן קֹ֥דֶשׁ קָֽדָשִׁ֖ים הֽוּא׃

KJV ¹⁴ And the priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and the priest shall put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot:

VULC ¹⁴ Assumensque sacerdos de sanguine hostiæ, quæ immolata est pro delicto, ponet super extremum auriculæ dextræ ejus qui mundatur, et super pollices manus dextræ et pedis :

WLC ¹⁴ וְלָקַ֣ח הַכֹּהֵן֮ מִדַּ֣ם הָאָשָׁם֒ וְנָתַן֙ הַכֹּהֵ֔ן עַל־ תְּנ֛וּךְ אֹ֥זֶן הַמִּטַּהֵ֖ר הַיְמָנִ֑ית וְעַל־ בֹּ֤הֶן יָדוֹ֙ הַיְמָנִ֔ית וְעַל־ בֹּ֥הֶן רַגְל֖וֹ הַיְמָנִֽית׃

KJV ¹⁵ And the priest shall take some of the log of oil, and pour it into the palm of his own left hand:

VULC ¹⁵ et de olei sextario mittet in manum suam sinistram,

WLC ¹⁵ וְלָקַ֥ח הַכֹּהֵ֖ן מִלֹּ֣ג הַשָּׁ֑מֶן וְיָצַ֛ק עַל־ כַּ֥ף הַכֹּהֵ֖ן הַשְּׂמָאלִֽית׃

KJV ¹⁶ And the priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand, and shall sprinkle of the oil with his finger seven times before the LORD:

VULC ¹⁶ tingetque digitum dextrum in eo, et asperget coram Domino septies.

WLC ¹⁶ וְטָבַ֤ל הַכֹּהֵן֙ אֶת־ אֶצְבָּע֣וֹ הַיְמָנִ֔ית מִן־ הַשֶּׁ֕מֶן אֲשֶׁ֥ר עַל־ כַּפּ֖וֹ הַשְּׂמָאלִ֑ית וְהִזָּ֨ה מִן־ הַשֶּׁ֧מֶן בְּאֶצְבָּע֛וֹ שֶׁ֥בַע פְּעָמִ֖ים לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָֽה׃

KJV ¹⁷ And of the rest of the oil that is in his hand shall the priest put upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the trespass offering:

VULC ¹⁷ Quod autem reliquum est olei in læva manu, fundet super extremum auriculæ dextræ ejus qui mundatur, et super pollices manus ac pedis dextri, et super sanguinem qui effusus est pro delicto,

WLC ¹⁷ וּמִיֶּ֨תֶר הַשֶּׁ֜מֶן אֲשֶׁ֣ר עַל־ כַּפּ֗וֹ יִתֵּ֤ן הַכֹּהֵן֙ עַל־ תְּנ֞וּךְ אֹ֤זֶן הַמִּטַּהֵר֙ הַיְמָנִ֔ית וְעַל־ בֹּ֤הֶן יָדוֹ֙ הַיְמָנִ֔ית וְעַל־ בֹּ֥הֶן רַגְל֖וֹ הַיְמָנִ֑ית עַ֖ל דַּ֥ם הָאָשָֽׁם׃

KJV ¹⁸ And the remnant of the oil that is in the priest's hand he shall pour upon the head of him that is to be cleansed: and the priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD.

VULC ¹⁸ et super caput ejus.

WLC ¹⁸ וְהַנּוֹתָ֗ר בַּשֶּׁ֙מֶן֙ אֲשֶׁר֙ עַל־ כַּ֣ף הַכֹּהֵ֔ן יִתֵּ֖ן עַל־ רֹ֣אשׁ הַמִּטַּהֵ֑ר וְכִפֶּ֥ר עָלָ֛יו הַכֹּהֵ֖ן לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָֽה׃

KJV ¹⁹ And the priest shall offer the sin offering, and make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed from his uncleanness; and afterward he shall kill the burnt offering:

VULC ¹⁹ Rogabitque pro eo coram Domino, et faciet sacrificium pro peccato : tunc immolabit holocaustum,

WLC ¹⁹ וְעָשָׂ֤ה הַכֹּהֵן֙ אֶת־ הַ֣חַטָּ֔את וְכִפֶּ֕ר עַל־ הַמִּטַּהֵ֖ר מִטֻּמְאָת֑וֹ וְאַחַ֖ר יִשְׁחַ֥ט אֶת־ הָעֹלָֽה׃

KJV ²⁰ And the priest shall offer the burnt offering and the meat offering upon the altar: and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and he shall be clean.

VULC ²⁰ et ponet illud in altari cum libamentis suis, et homo rite mundabitur.

WLC ²⁰ וְהֶעֱלָ֧ה הַכֹּהֵ֛ן אֶת־ הָעֹלָ֥ה וְאֶת־ הַמִּנְחָ֖ה הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חָה וְכִפֶּ֥ר עָלָ֛יו הַכֹּהֵ֖ן וְטָהֵֽר׃

KJV ²¹ And if he be poor, and cannot get so much; then he shall take one lamb for a trespass offering to be waved, to make an atonement for him, and one tenth deal of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering, and a log of oil;

VULC ²¹ Quod si pauper est, et non potest manus ejus invenire quæ dicta sunt pro delicto, assumet agnum ad oblationem, ut roget pro eo sacerdos, decimamque partem similæ conspersæ oleo in sacrificium, et olei sextarium,

WLC ²¹ וְאִם־ דַּ֣ל ה֗וּא וְאֵ֣ין יָדוֹ֮ מַשֶּׂגֶת֒ וְ֠לָקַח כֶּ֣בֶשׂ אֶחָ֥ד אָשָׁ֛ם לִתְנוּפָ֖ה לְכַפֵּ֣ר עָלָ֑יו וְעִשָּׂר֨וֹן סֹ֜לֶת אֶחָ֨ד בָּל֥וּל בַּשֶּׁ֛מֶן לְמִנְחָ֖ה וְלֹ֥ג שָֽׁמֶן׃

KJV ²² And two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, such as he is able to get; and the one shall be a sin offering, and the other a burnt offering.

VULC ²² duosque turtures sive duos pullos columbæ, quorum unus sit pro peccato, et alter in holocaustum :

WLC ²² וּשְׁתֵּ֣י תֹרִ֗ים א֤וֹ שְׁנֵי֙ בְּנֵ֣י יוֹנָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר תַּשִּׂ֖יג יָד֑וֹ וְהָיָ֤ה אֶחָד֙ חַטָּ֔את וְהָאֶחָ֖ד עֹלָֽה׃

KJV ²³ And he shall bring them on the eighth day for his cleansing unto the priest, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, before the LORD.

KJV ²⁴ And the priest shall take the lamb of the trespass offering, and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before the LORD:

VULC ²⁴ Qui suscipiens agnum pro delicto et sextarium olei, levabit simul :

WLC ²⁴ וְלָקַ֧ח הַכֹּהֵ֛ן אֶת־ כֶּ֥בֶשׂ הָאָשָׁ֖ם וְאֶת־ לֹ֣ג הַשָּׁ֑מֶן וְהֵנִ֨יף אֹתָ֧ם הַכֹּהֵ֛ן תְּנוּפָ֖ה לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָֽה׃

KJV ²⁵ And he shall kill the lamb of the trespass offering, and the priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot:

VULC ²⁵ immolatoque agno, de sanguine ejus ponet super extremum auriculæ dextræ illius qui mundatur, et super pollices manus ejus ac pedis dextri :

WLC ²⁵ וְשָׁחַט֮ אֶת־ כֶּ֣בֶשׂ הָֽאָשָׁם֒ וְלָקַ֤ח הַכֹּהֵן֙ מִדַּ֣ם הָֽאָשָׁ֔ם וְנָתַ֛ן עַל־ תְּנ֥וּךְ אֹֽזֶן־ הַמִּטַּהֵ֖ר הַיְמָנִ֑ית וְעַל־ בֹּ֤הֶן יָדוֹ֙ הַיְמָנִ֔ית וְעַל־ בֹּ֥הֶן רַגְל֖וֹ הַיְמָנִֽית׃

KJV ²⁶ And the priest shall pour of the oil into the palm of his own left hand:

VULC ²⁶ olei vero partem mittet in manum suam sinistram,

WLC ²⁶ וּמִן־ הַשֶּׁ֖מֶן יִצֹ֣ק הַכֹּהֵ֑ן עַל־ כַּ֥ף הַכֹּהֵ֖ן הַשְּׂמָאלִֽית׃

KJV ²⁷ And the priest shall sprinkle with his right finger some of the oil that is in his left hand seven times before the LORD:

VULC ²⁷ in quo tingens digitum dextræ manus asperget septies coram Domino :

WLC ²⁷ וְהִזָּ֤ה הַכֹּהֵן֙ בְּאֶצְבָּע֣וֹ הַיְמָנִ֔ית מִן־ הַשֶּׁ֕מֶן אֲשֶׁ֥ר עַל־ כַּפּ֖וֹ הַשְּׂמָאלִ֑ית שֶׁ֥בַע פְּעָמִ֖ים לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָֽה׃

KJV ²⁸ And the priest shall put of the oil that is in his hand upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the place of the blood of the trespass offering:

VULC ²⁸ tangetque extremum dextræ auriculæ illius qui mundatur, et pollices manus ac pedis dextri, in loco sanguinis qui effusus est pro delicto :

WLC ²⁸ וְנָתַ֨ן הַכֹּהֵ֜ן מִן־ הַשֶּׁ֣מֶן ׀ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עַל־ כַּפּ֗וֹ עַל־ תְּנ֞וּךְ אֹ֤זֶן הַמִּטַּהֵר֙ הַיְמָנִ֔ית וְעַל־ בֹּ֤הֶן יָדוֹ֙ הַיְמָנִ֔ית וְעַל־ בֹּ֥הֶן רַגְל֖וֹ הַיְמָנִ֑ית עַל־ מְק֖וֹם דַּ֥ם הָאָשָֽׁם׃

VULC ²⁹ reliquam autem partem olei, quæ est in sinistra manu, mittet super caput purificati, ut placet pro eo Dominum :

WLC ²⁹ וְהַנּוֹתָ֗ר מִן־ הַשֶּׁ֙מֶן֙ אֲשֶׁר֙ עַל־ כַּ֣ף הַכֹּהֵ֔ן יִתֵּ֖ן עַל־ רֹ֣אשׁ הַמִּטַּהֵ֑ר לְכַפֵּ֥ר עָלָ֖יו לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָֽה׃

KJV ³⁰ And he shall offer the one of the turtledoves, or of the young pigeons, such as he can get;

VULC ³⁰ et turturem sive pullum columbæ offeret,

WLC ³⁰ וְעָשָׂ֤ה אֶת־ הָֽאֶחָד֙ מִן־ הַתֹּרִ֔ים א֖וֹ מִן־ בְּנֵ֣י הַיּוֹנָ֑ה מֵאֲשֶׁ֥ר תַּשִּׂ֖יג יָדֽוֹ׃

KJV ³¹ Even such as he is able to get, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, with the meat offering: and the priest shall make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed before the LORD.

VULC ³¹ unum pro delicto, et alterum in holocaustum cum libamentis suis.

WLC ³¹ אֵ֣ת אֲשֶׁר־ תַּשִּׂ֞יג יָד֗וֹ אֶת־ הָאֶחָ֥ד חַטָּ֛את וְאֶת־ הָאֶחָ֥ד עֹלָ֖ה עַל־ הַמִּנְחָ֑ה וְכִפֶּ֧ר הַכֹּהֵ֛ן עַ֥ל הַמִּטַּהֵ֖ר לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָֽה׃

KJV ³² This is the law of him in whom is the plague of leprosy, whose hand is not able to get that which pertaineth to his cleansing.

VULC ³² Hoc est sacrificium leprosi, qui habere non potest omnia in emundationem sui.

WLC ³² זֹ֣את תּוֹרַ֔ת אֲשֶׁר־ בּ֖וֹ נֶ֣גַע צָרָ֑עַת אֲשֶׁ֛ר לֹֽא־ תַשִּׂ֥יג יָד֖וֹ בְּטָהֳרָתֽוֹ׃

KJV ³³ And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

KJV ³⁴ When ye be come into the land of Canaan, which I give to you for a possession, and I put the plague of leprosy in a house of the land of your possession;

VULC ³⁴ Cum ingressi fueritis terram Chanaan, quam ego dabo vobis in possessionem, si fuerit plaga lepræ in ædibus,

WLC ³⁴ כִּ֤י תָבֹ֙אוּ֙ אֶל־ אֶ֣רֶץ כְּנַ֔עַן אֲשֶׁ֥ר אֲנִ֛י נֹתֵ֥ן לָכֶ֖ם לַאֲחֻזָּ֑ה וְנָתַתִּי֙ נֶ֣גַע צָרַ֔עַת בְּבֵ֖ית אֶ֥רֶץ אֲחֻזַּתְכֶֽם׃

KJV ³⁵ And he that owneth the house shall come and tell the priest, saying, It seemeth to me there is as it were a plague in the house:

VULC ³⁵ ibit cujus est domus, nuntians sacerdoti, et dicet : Quasi plaga lepræ videtur mihi esse in domo mea.

WLC ³⁵ וּבָא֙ אֲשֶׁר־ ל֣וֹ הַבַּ֔יִת וְהִגִּ֥יד לַכֹּהֵ֖ן לֵאמֹ֑ר כְּנֶ֕גַע נִרְאָ֥ה לִ֖י בַּבָּֽיִת׃

KJV ³⁶ Then the priest shall command that they empty the house, before the priest go into it to see the plague, that all that is in the house be not made unclean: and afterward the priest shall go in to see the house:

VULC ³⁶ At ille præcipiet ut efferant universa de domo, priusquam ingrediatur eam, et videat utrum leprosa sit, ne immunda fiant omnia quæ in domo sunt. Intrabitque postea ut consideret lepram domus :

WLC ³⁶ וְצִוָּ֨ה הַכֹּהֵ֜ן וּפִנּ֣וּ אֶת־ הַבַּ֗יִת בְּטֶ֨רֶם יָבֹ֤א הַכֹּהֵן֙ לִרְא֣וֹת אֶת־ הַנֶּ֔גַע וְלֹ֥א יִטְמָ֖א כָּל־ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בַּבָּ֑יִת וְאַ֥חַר כֵּ֛ן יָבֹ֥א הַכֹּהֵ֖ן לִרְא֥וֹת אֶת־ הַבָּֽיִת׃

KJV ³⁷ And he shall look on the plague, and, behold, if the plague be in the walls of the house with hollow strakes, greenish or reddish, which in sight are lower than the wall;

VULC ³⁷ et cum viderit in parietibus illius quasi valliculas pallore sive rubore deformes, et humiliores superficie reliqua,

WLC ³⁷ וְרָאָ֣ה אֶת־ הַנֶּ֗גַע וְהִנֵּ֤ה הַנֶּ֙גַע֙ בְּקִירֹ֣ת הַבַּ֔יִת שְׁקַֽעֲרוּרֹת֙ יְרַקְרַקֹּ֔ת א֖וֹ אֲדַמְדַּמֹּ֑ת וּמַרְאֵיהֶ֥ן שָׁפָ֖ל מִן־ הַקִּֽיר׃

KJV ³⁸ Then the priest shall go out of the house to the door of the house, and shut up the house seven days:

VULC ³⁸ egredietur ostium domus, et statim claudet illam septem diebus.

WLC ³⁸ וְיָצָ֧א הַכֹּהֵ֛ן מִן־ הַבַּ֖יִת אֶל־ פֶּ֣תַח הַבָּ֑יִת וְהִסְגִּ֥יר אֶת־ הַבַּ֖יִת שִׁבְעַ֥ת יָמִֽים׃

KJV ³⁹ And the priest shall come again the seventh day, and shall look: and, behold, if the plague be spread in the walls of the house;

VULC ³⁹ Reversusque die septimo, considerabit eam : si invenerit crevisse lepram,

WLC ³⁹ וְשָׁ֥ב הַכֹּהֵ֖ן בַּיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֑י וְרָאָ֕ה וְהִנֵּ֛ה פָּשָׂ֥ה הַנֶּ֖גַע בְּקִירֹ֥ת הַבָּֽיִת׃

KJV ⁴⁰ Then the priest shall command that they take away the stones in which the plague is, and they shall cast them into an unclean place without the city:

VULC ⁴⁰ jubebit erui lapides in quibus lepra est, et projici eos extra civitatem in locum immundum :

WLC ⁴⁰ וְצִוָּה֙ הַכֹּהֵ֔ן וְחִלְּצוּ֙ אֶת־ הָ֣אֲבָנִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר בָּהֵ֖ן הַנָּ֑גַע וְהִשְׁלִ֤יכוּ אֶתְהֶן֙ אֶל־ מִח֣וּץ לָעִ֔יר אֶל־ מָק֖וֹם טָמֵֽא׃

KJV ⁴¹ And he shall cause the house to be scraped within round about, and they shall pour out the dust that they scrape off without the city into an unclean place:

VULC ⁴¹ domum autem ipsam radi intrinsecus per circuitum, et spargi pulverem rasuræ extra urbem in locum immundum,

WLC ⁴¹ וְאֶת־ הַבַּ֛יִת יַקְצִ֥עַ מִבַּ֖יִת סָבִ֑יב וְשָׁפְכ֗וּ אֶת־ הֶֽעָפָר֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הִקְצ֔וּ אֶל־ מִח֣וּץ לָעִ֔יר אֶל־ מָק֖וֹם טָמֵֽא׃

KJV ⁴² And they shall take other stones, and put them in the place of those stones; and he shall take other morter, and shall plaister the house.

VULC ⁴² lapidesque alios reponi pro his qui ablati fuerint, et luto alio liniri domum.

WLC ⁴² וְלָקְחוּ֙ אֲבָנִ֣ים אֲחֵר֔וֹת וְהֵבִ֖יאוּ אֶל־ תַּ֣חַת הָאֲבָנִ֑ים וְעָפָ֥ר אַחֵ֛ר יִקַּ֖ח וְטָ֥ח אֶת־ הַבָּֽיִת׃

KJV ⁴³ And if the plague come again, and break out in the house, after that he hath taken away the stones, and after he hath scraped the house, and after it is plaistered;

VULC ⁴³ Sin autem postquam eruti sunt lapides, et pulvis erasus, et alia terra lita,

WLC ⁴³ וְאִם־ יָשׁ֤וּב הַנֶּ֙גַע֙ וּפָרַ֣ח בַּבַּ֔יִת אַחַ֖ר חִלֵּ֣ץ אֶת־ הָאֲבָנִ֑ים וְאַחֲרֵ֛י הִקְצ֥וֹת אֶת־ הַבַּ֖יִת וְאַחֲרֵ֥י הִטּֽוֹחַ׃

KJV ⁴⁴ Then the priest shall come and look, and, behold, if the plague be spread in the house, it is a fretting leprosy in the house; it is unclean.

VULC ⁴⁴ ingressus sacerdos viderit reversam lepram, et parietes respersos maculis, lepra est perseverans, et immunda domus :

WLC ⁴⁴ וּבָא֙ הַכֹּהֵ֔ן וְרָאָ֕ה וְהִנֵּ֛ה פָּשָׂ֥ה הַנֶּ֖גַע בַּבָּ֑יִת צָרַ֨עַת מַמְאֶ֥רֶת הִ֛וא בַּבַּ֖יִת טָמֵ֥א הֽוּא׃

KJV ⁴⁵ And he shall break down the house, the stones of it, and the timber thereof, and all the morter of the house; and he shall carry them forth out of the city into an unclean place.

VULC ⁴⁵ quam statim destruent, et lapides ejus ac ligna, atque universum pulverem projicient extra oppidum in locum immundum.

WLC ⁴⁵ וְנָתַ֣ץ אֶת־ הַבַּ֗יִת אֶת־ אֲבָנָיו֙ וְאֶת־ עֵצָ֔יו וְאֵ֖ת כָּל־ עֲפַ֣ר הַבָּ֑יִת וְהוֹצִיא֙ אֶל־ מִח֣וּץ לָעִ֔יר אֶל־ מָק֖וֹם טָמֵֽא׃

KJV ⁴⁶ Moreover he that goeth into the house all the while that it is shut up shall be unclean until the even.

VULC ⁴⁶ Qui intraverit domum quando clausa est, immundus erit usque ad vesperum :

WLC ⁴⁶ וְהַבָּא֙ אֶל־ הַבַּ֔יִת כָּל־ יְמֵ֖י הִסְגִּ֣יר אֹת֑וֹ יִטְמָ֖א עַד־ הָעָֽרֶב׃

KJV ⁴⁷ And he that lieth in the house shall wash his clothes; and he that eateth in the house shall wash his clothes.

VULC ⁴⁷ et qui dormierit in ea, et comederit quippiam, lavabit vestimenta sua.

WLC ⁴⁷ וְהַשֹּׁכֵ֣ב בַּבַּ֔יִת יְכַבֵּ֖ס אֶת־ בְּגָדָ֑יו וְהָאֹכֵ֣ל בַּבַּ֔יִת יְכַבֵּ֖ס אֶת־ בְּגָדָֽיו׃

KJV ⁴⁸ And if the priest shall come in, and look upon it, and, behold, the plague hath not spread in the house, after the house was plaistered: then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, because the plague is healed.

VULC ⁴⁸ Quod si introiens sacerdos viderit lepram non crevisse in domo, postquam denuo lita fuerit, purificabit eam reddita sanitate :

WLC ⁴⁸ וְאִם־ בֹּ֨א יָבֹ֜א הַכֹּהֵ֗ן וְרָאָה֙ וְ֠הִנֵּה לֹא־ פָשָׂ֤ה הַנֶּ֙גַע֙ בַּבַּ֔יִת אַחֲרֵ֖י הִטֹּ֣חַ אֶת־ הַבָּ֑יִת וְטִהַ֤ר הַכֹּהֵן֙ אֶת־ הַבַּ֔יִת כִּ֥י נִרְפָּ֖א הַנָּֽגַע׃

KJV ⁴⁹ And he shall take to cleanse the house two birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:

VULC ⁴⁹ et in purificationem ejus sumet duos passeres, lignumque cedrinum, et vermiculum atque hyssopum :

WLC ⁴⁹ וְלָקַ֛ח לְחַטֵּ֥א אֶת־ הַבַּ֖יִת שְׁתֵּ֣י צִפֳּרִ֑ים וְעֵ֣ץ אֶ֔רֶז וּשְׁנִ֥י תוֹלַ֖עַת וְאֵזֹֽב׃

KJV ⁵⁰ And he shall kill the one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water:

VULC ⁵⁰ et immolato uno passere in vase fictili super aquas vivas,

WLC ⁵⁰ וְשָׁחַ֖ט אֶת־ הַצִּפֹּ֣ר הָאֶחָ֑ת אֶל־ כְּלִי־ חֶ֖רֶשׂ עַל־ מַ֥יִם חַיִּֽים׃

KJV ⁵¹ And he shall take the cedar wood, and the hyssop, and the scarlet, and the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the slain bird, and in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times:

VULC ⁵¹ tollet lignum cedrinum, et hyssopum, et coccum, et passerem vivum, et tinget omnia in sanguine passeris immolati, atque in aquis viventibus, et asperget domum septies,

WLC ⁵¹ וְלָקַ֣ח אֶת־ עֵֽץ־ הָ֠אֶרֶז וְאֶת־ הָ֨אֵזֹ֜ב וְאֵ֣ת ׀ שְׁנִ֣י הַתּוֹלַ֗עַת וְאֵת֮ הַצִּפֹּ֣ר הַֽחַיָּה֒ וְטָבַ֣ל אֹתָ֗ם בְּדַם֙ הַצִּפֹּ֣ר הַשְּׁחוּטָ֔ה וּבַמַּ֖יִם הַֽחַיִּ֑ים וְהִזָּ֥ה אֶל־ הַבַּ֖יִת שֶׁ֥בַע פְּעָמִֽים׃

KJV ⁵² And he shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, and with the living bird, and with the cedar wood, and with the hyssop, and with the scarlet:

VULC ⁵² purificabitque eam tam in sanguine passeris quam in aquis viventibus, et in passere vivo, lignoque cedrino et hyssopo atque vermiculo.

WLC ⁵² וְחִטֵּ֣א אֶת־ הַבַּ֔יִת בְּדַם֙ הַצִּפּ֔וֹר וּבַמַּ֖יִם הַֽחַיִּ֑ים וּבַצִּפֹּ֣ר הַחַיָּ֗ה וּבְעֵ֥ץ הָאֶ֛רֶז וּבָאֵזֹ֖ב וּבִשְׁנִ֥י הַתּוֹלָֽעַת׃

KJV ⁵³ But he shall let go the living bird out of the city into the open fields, and make an atonement for the house: and it shall be clean.

VULC ⁵³ Cumque dimiserit passerem avolare in agrum libere, orabit pro domo, et jure mundabitur.

WLC ⁵³ וְשִׁלַּ֞ח אֶת־ הַצִּפֹּ֧ר הַֽחַיָּ֛ה אֶל־ מִח֥וּץ לָעִ֖יר אֶל־ פְּנֵ֣י הַשָּׂדֶ֑ה וְכִפֶּ֥ר עַל־ הַבַּ֖יִת וְטָהֵֽר׃

KJV ⁵⁴ This is the law for all manner of plague of leprosy, and scall,

VULC ⁵⁴ Ista est lex omnis lepræ et percussuræ,

WLC ⁵⁴ זֹ֖את הַתּוֹרָ֑ה לְכָל־ נֶ֥גַע הַצָּרַ֖עַת וְלַנָּֽתֶק׃

KJV ⁵⁵ And for the leprosy of a garment, and of a house,

VULC ⁵⁵ lepræ vestium et domorum,

WLC ⁵⁵ וּלְצָרַ֥עַת הַבֶּ֖גֶד וְלַבָּֽיִת׃

KJV ⁵⁶ And for a rising, and for a scab, and for a bright spot:

VULC ⁵⁶ cicatricis et erumpentium papularum, lucentis maculæ, et in varias species, coloribus immutatis,

WLC ⁵⁶ וְלַשְׂאֵ֥ת וְלַסַּפַּ֖חַת וְלַבֶּהָֽרֶת׃

KJV ⁵⁷ To teach when it is unclean, and when it is clean: this is the law of leprosy.

VULC ⁵⁷ ut possit sciri quo tempore mundum quid, vel immundum sit.

WLC ⁵⁷ לְהוֹרֹ֕ת בְּי֥וֹם הַטָּמֵ֖א וּבְי֣וֹם הַטָּהֹ֑ר זֹ֥את תּוֹרַ֖ת הַצָּרָֽעַת׃
