BCC ¹ Yahweh parla à Moïse, en disant :

WLC ¹ וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־ מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃

BCC ² "Parle à Aaron et à ses fils, et à tous les enfants d'Israël, et tu leur diras : voici ce que Yahweh a ordonné.

KJV ² Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them; This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded, saying,

WLC ² דַּבֵּ֨ר אֶֽל־ אַהֲרֹ֜ן וְאֶל־ בָּנָ֗יו וְאֶל֙ כָּל־ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְאָמַרְתָּ֖ אֲלֵיהֶ֑ם זֶ֣ה הַדָּבָ֔ר אֲשֶׁר־ צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה לֵאמֹֽר׃

BCC ³ Tout homme de la maison d'Israël qui, dans le camp ou hors du camp, égorge un boeuf, une brebis ou une chèvre,

KJV ³ What man soever there be of the house of Israel, that killeth an ox, or lamb, or goat, in the camp, or that killeth it out of the camp,

WLC ³ אִ֥ישׁ אִישׁ֙ מִבֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִשְׁחַ֜ט שׁ֥וֹר אוֹ־ כֶ֛שֶׂב אוֹ־ עֵ֖ז בַּֽמַּחֲנֶ֑ה א֚וֹ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יִשְׁחַ֔ט מִח֖וּץ לַֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃

BCC ⁴ sans l'amener à l'entrée de la tente de réunion pour le présenter en offrande à Yahweh devant la demeure de Yahweh, le sang sera imputé à cet homme ; il a répandu le sang, cet homme sera retranché du milieu de son peuple.

KJV ⁴ And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer an offering unto the LORD before the tabernacle of the LORD; blood shall be imputed unto that man; he hath shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people:

WLC ⁴ וְאֶל־ פֶּ֜תַח אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵד֮ לֹ֣א הֱבִיאוֹ֒ לְהַקְרִ֤יב קָרְבָּן֙ לַֽיהוָ֔ה לִפְנֵ֖י מִשְׁכַּ֣ן יְהוָ֑ה דָּ֣ם יֵחָשֵׁ֞ב לָאִ֤ישׁ הַהוּא֙ דָּ֣ם שָׁפָ֔ךְ וְנִכְרַ֛ת הָאִ֥ישׁ הַה֖וּא מִקֶּ֥רֶב עַמּֽוֹ׃

BCC ⁵ C'est afin que les enfants d'Israël, au lieu d'immoler leurs victimes dans la campagne, les amènent au prêtre devant Yahweh, à l'entrée de la tente de réunion, et qu'ils les offrent à Yahweh en sacrifice pacifique.

KJV ⁵ To the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they offer in the open field, even that they may bring them unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest, and offer them for peace offerings unto the LORD.

WLC ⁵ לְמַעַן֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר יָבִ֜יאוּ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל אֶֽת־ זִבְחֵיהֶם֮ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הֵ֣ם זֹבְחִים֮ עַל־ פְּנֵ֣י הַשָּׂדֶה֒ וֶֽהֱבִיאֻ֣ם לַֽיהוָ֗ה אֶל־ פֶּ֛תַח אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵ֖ד אֶל־ הַכֹּהֵ֑ן וְזָ֨בְח֜וּ זִבְחֵ֧י שְׁלָמִ֛ים לַֽיהוָ֖ה אוֹתָֽם׃

BCC ⁶ Le prêtre répandra le sang sur l'autel de Yahweh, à l'entrée de la tente de réunion, et il fera fumer la graisse en odeur agréable à Yahweh.

KJV ⁶ And the priest shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar of the LORD at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and burn the fat for a sweet savour unto the LORD.

WLC ⁶ וְזָרַ֨ק הַכֹּהֵ֤ן אֶת־ הַדָּם֙ עַל־ מִזְבַּ֣ח יְהוָ֔ה פֶּ֖תַח אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד וְהִקְטִ֣יר הַחֵ֔לֶב לְרֵ֥יחַ נִיחֹ֖חַ לַיהוָֽה׃

BCC ⁷ Ils n'offriront plus leurs sacrifices aux satyres, avec lesquels ils se prostituent. Ce sera pour eux une loi perpétuelle de génération en génération.

KJV ⁷ And they shall no more offer their sacrifices unto devils, after whom they have gone a whoring. This shall be a statute for ever unto them throughout their generations.

WLC ⁷ וְלֹא־ יִזְבְּח֥וּ עוֹד֙ אֶת־ זִבְחֵיהֶ֔ם לַשְּׂעִירִ֕ם אֲשֶׁ֛ר הֵ֥ם זֹנִ֖ים אַחֲרֵיהֶ֑ם חֻקַּ֥ת עוֹלָ֛ם תִּֽהְיֶה־ זֹּ֥את לָהֶ֖ם לְדֹרֹתָֽם׃

BCC ⁸ Tu leur diras encore : tout homme de la maison d'Israël ou d'entre les étrangers séjournant au milieu d'eux qui offrira un holocauste ou un autre sacrifice,

KJV ⁸ And thou shalt say unto them, Whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers which sojourn among you, that offereth a burnt offering or sacrifice,

WLC ⁸ וַאֲלֵהֶ֣ם תֹּאמַ֔ר אִ֥ישׁ אִישׁ֙ מִבֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וּמִן־ הַגֵּ֖ר אֲשֶׁר־ יָג֣וּר בְּתוֹכָ֑ם אֲשֶׁר־ יַעֲלֶ֥ה עֹלָ֖ה אוֹ־ זָֽבַח׃

BCC ⁹ et n'amènera pas la victime à l'entrée de la tente de réunion pour l'offrir en sacrifice à Yahweh, cet homme sera retranché du milieu de son peuple.

BCC ¹⁰ Tout homme de la maison d'Israël ou d'entre les étrangers séjournant au milieu d'eux qui mangera le sang d'un animal quelconque, je tournerai ma face contre celui qui mange le sang, et je le retrancherai du milieu de son peuple ;

KJV ¹⁰ And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people.

WLC ¹⁰ וְאִ֨ישׁ אִ֜ישׁ מִבֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל וּמִן־ הַגֵּר֙ הַגָּ֣ר בְּתוֹכָ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר יֹאכַ֖ל כָּל־ דָּ֑ם וְנָתַתִּ֣י פָנַ֗י בַּנֶּ֙פֶשׁ֙ הָאֹכֶ֣לֶת אֶת־ הַדָּ֔ם וְהִכְרַתִּ֥י אֹתָ֖הּ מִקֶּ֥רֶב עַמָּֽהּ׃

BCC ¹¹ car l'âme de la chair est dans le sang, et je vous l'ai donné en vue de l'autel pour qu'il servit d'expiation pour vos âmes ; car c'est par l'âme que le sang fait expiation.

KJV ¹¹ For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

WLC ¹¹ כִּ֣י נֶ֣פֶשׁ הַבָּשָׂר֮ בַּדָּ֣ם הִוא֒ וַאֲנִ֞י נְתַתִּ֤יו לָכֶם֙ עַל־ הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ לְכַפֵּ֖ר עַל־ נַפְשֹׁתֵיכֶ֑ם כִּֽי־ הַדָּ֥ם ה֖וּא בַּנֶּ֥פֶשׁ יְכַפֵּֽר׃

BCC ¹² C'est pourquoi j'ai dit aux enfants d'Israël : personne d'entre vous ne mangera du sang, et l'étranger qui séjourne au milieu de vous ne mangera pas du sang.

KJV ¹² Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood.

WLC ¹² עַל־ כֵּ֤ן אָמַ֙רְתִּי֙ לִבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל כָּל־ נֶ֥פֶשׁ מִכֶּ֖ם לֹא־ תֹ֣אכַל דָּ֑ם וְהַגֵּ֛ר הַגָּ֥ר בְּתוֹכְכֶ֖ם לֹא־ יֹ֥אכַל דָּֽם׃

BCC ¹³ Tout homme d'entre tes enfants d'Israël, d'entre les étrangers séjournant au milieu d'eux qui prend à la chasse un animal ou un oiseau qui se mange, il en versera le sang et le couvrira de terre ;

KJV ¹³ And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.

WLC ¹³ וְאִ֨ישׁ אִ֜ישׁ מִבְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל וּמִן־ הַגֵּר֙ הַגָּ֣ר בְּתוֹכָ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֨ר יָצ֜וּד צֵ֥יד חַיָּ֛ה אוֹ־ ע֖וֹף אֲשֶׁ֣ר יֵאָכֵ֑ל וְשָׁפַךְ֙ אֶת־ דָּמ֔וֹ וְכִסָּ֖הוּ בֶּעָפָֽר׃

BCC ¹⁴ car l'âme de toute chair, c'est son sang il en est son âme. C'est pourquoi j'ai dit aux enfants d'Israël : vous ne mangerez le sang d'aucune chair ; car l'âme de toute chair, c'est son sang : quiconque en mangera sera retranché.

KJV ¹⁴ For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.

WLC ¹⁴ כִּֽי־ נֶ֣פֶשׁ כָּל־ בָּשָׂ֗ר דָּמ֣וֹ בְנַפְשׁוֹ֮ הוּא֒ וָֽאֹמַר֙ לִבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל דַּ֥ם כָּל־ בָּשָׂ֖ר לֹ֣א תֹאכֵ֑לוּ כִּ֣י נֶ֤פֶשׁ כָּל־ בָּשָׂר֙ דָּמ֣וֹ הִ֔וא כָּל־ אֹכְלָ֖יו יִכָּרֵֽת׃

BCC ¹⁵ Toute personne, née dans le pays ou étrangère, qui mangera d'une bête morte ou déchirée, lavera ses vêtements, se baignera dans l'eau, et sera impure jusqu'au soir ; puis elle sera pure.

KJV ¹⁵ And every soul that eateth that which died of itself, or that which was torn with beasts, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even: then shall he be clean.

WLC ¹⁵ וְכָל־ נֶ֗פֶשׁ אֲשֶׁ֨ר תֹּאכַ֤ל נְבֵלָה֙ וּטְרֵפָ֔ה בָּאֶזְרָ֖ח וּבַגֵּ֑ר וְכִבֶּ֨ס בְּגָדָ֜יו וְרָחַ֥ץ בַּמַּ֛יִם וְטָמֵ֥א עַד־ הָעֶ֖רֶב וְטָהֵֽר׃

BCC ¹⁶ Si elle ne lave pas ses vêtements et son corps, elle portera son iniquité.

KJV ¹⁶ But if he wash them not, nor bathe his flesh; then he shall bear his iniquity.

WLC ¹⁶ וְאִם֙ לֹ֣א יְכַבֵּ֔ס וּבְשָׂר֖וֹ לֹ֣א יִרְחָ֑ץ וְנָשָׂ֖א עֲוֺנֽוֹ׃
