WLC ² דַּבֵּר֙ אֶל־ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְאָמַרְתָּ֖ אֲלֵהֶ֑ם אֲנִ֖י יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃

KJV ³ After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their ordinances.

S21 ³ Vous ne ferez pas ce qui se fait en Egypte où vous avez habité, et vous ne ferez pas ce qui se fait dans le pays de Canaan où je vous conduis. Vous ne suivrez pas leurs coutumes.

WLC ³ כְּמַעֲשֵׂ֧ה אֶֽרֶץ־ מִצְרַ֛יִם אֲשֶׁ֥ר יְשַׁבְתֶּם־ בָּ֖הּ לֹ֣א תַעֲשׂ֑וּ וּכְמַעֲשֵׂ֣ה אֶֽרֶץ־ כְּנַ֡עַן אֲשֶׁ֣ר אֲנִי֩ מֵבִ֨יא אֶתְכֶ֥ם שָׁ֙מָּה֙ לֹ֣א תַעֲשׂ֔וּ וּבְחֻקֹּתֵיהֶ֖ם לֹ֥א תֵלֵֽכוּ׃

KJV ⁴ Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein: I am the LORD your God.

S21 ⁴ Vous mettrez en pratique mes règles et vous respecterez mes prescriptions, c'est elles que vous suivrez. Je suis l'Eternel, votre Dieu.

WLC ⁴ אֶת־ מִשְׁפָּטַ֧י תַּעֲשׂ֛וּ וְאֶת־ חֻקֹּתַ֥י תִּשְׁמְר֖וּ לָלֶ֣כֶת בָּהֶ֑ם אֲנִ֖י יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃

KJV ⁵ Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the LORD.

S21 ⁵ Vous respecterez mes prescriptions et mes règles. *L'homme qui les mettra en pratique vivra par elles. Je suis l'Eternel.

KJV ⁶ None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am the LORD.

KJV ⁷ The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.

KJV ¹⁴ Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's brother, thou shalt not approach to his wife: she is thine aunt.

KJV ¹⁵ Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter in law: she is thy son's wife; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.

KJV ¹⁷ Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, neither shalt thou take her son's daughter, or her daughter's daughter, to uncover her nakedness; for they are her near kinswomen: it is wickedness.

S21 ¹⁷ »Tu ne dévoileras pas la nudité d'une femme et de sa fille; tu n'épouseras pas non plus la fille de son fils ou celle de sa fille pour dévoiler leur nudité: ce sont tes proches parentes, ce serait un crime.

WLC ¹⁷ עֶרְוַ֥ת אִשָּׁ֛ה וּבִתָּ֖הּ לֹ֣א תְגַלֵּ֑ה אֶֽת־ בַּת־ בְּנָ֞הּ וְאֶת־ בַּת־ בִּתָּ֗הּ לֹ֤א תִקַּח֙ לְגַלּ֣וֹת עֶרְוָתָ֔הּ שַׁאֲרָ֥ה הֵ֖נָּה זִמָּ֥ה הִֽוא

KJV ¹⁸ Neither shalt thou take a wife to her sister, to vex her, to uncover her nakedness, beside the other in her life time.

S21 ¹⁸ Tu n'épouseras pas la sœur de ta femme, ce serait exciter une rivalité en dévoilant sa nudité à côté de ta femme pendant sa vie.

WLC ¹⁸ וְאִשָּׁ֥ה אֶל־ אֲחֹתָ֖הּ לֹ֣א תִקָּ֑ח לִצְרֹ֗ר לְגַלּ֧וֹת עֶרְוָתָ֛הּ עָלֶ֖יהָ בְּחַיֶּֽיהָ׃

KJV ¹⁹ Also thou shalt not approach unto a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is put apart for her uncleanness.

KJV ²⁰ Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour's wife, to defile thyself with her.

S21 ²⁰ Tu ne coucheras pas avec la femme de ton prochain pour te rendre impur avec elle.

WLC ²⁰ וְאֶל־ אֵ֙שֶׁת֙ עֲמִֽיתְךָ֔ לֹא־ תִתֵּ֥ן שְׁכָבְתְּךָ֖ לְזָ֑רַע לְטָמְאָה־ בָֽהּ׃

KJV ²¹ And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.

S21 ²¹ »Tu ne livreras aucun de tes enfants pour le sacrifier à Moloc et tu ne déshonoreras pas ainsi le nom de ton Dieu. Je suis l'Eternel.

WLC ²¹ וּמִֽזַּרְעֲךָ֥ לֹא־ תִתֵּ֖ן לְהַעֲבִ֣יר לַמֹּ֑לֶךְ וְלֹ֧א תְחַלֵּ֛ל אֶת־ שֵׁ֥ם אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ אֲנִ֥י יְהוָֽה׃

KJV ²² Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

S21 ²² Tu ne coucheras pas avec un homme comme on couche avec une femme: c'est une pratique abominable.

WLC ²² וְאֶ֨ת־ זָכָ֔ר לֹ֥א תִשְׁכַּ֖ב מִשְׁכְּבֵ֣י אִשָּׁ֑ה תּוֹעֵבָ֖ה הִֽוא׃

KJV ²³ Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion.

S21 ²³ Tu ne coucheras pas avec une bête pour te rendre impur avec elle, la femme non plus ne s'approchera pas d'une bête pour se prostituer à elle: c'est une pratique abominable.

WLC ²³ וּבְכָל־ בְּהֵמָ֛ה לֹא־ תִתֵּ֥ן שְׁכָבְתְּךָ֖ לְטָמְאָה־ בָ֑הּ וְאִשָּׁ֗ה לֹֽא־ תַעֲמֹ֞ד לִפְנֵ֧י בְהֵמָ֛ה לְרִבְעָ֖הּ תֶּ֥בֶל הֽוּא׃

KJV ²⁴ Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:

S21 ²⁴ »Ne vous rendez impurs par aucune de ces pratiques, car c'est par elles que les nations que je vais chasser devant vous se sont rendues impures.

WLC ²⁴ אַל־ תִּֽטַּמְּא֖וּ בְּכָל־ אֵ֑לֶּה כִּ֤י בְכָל־ אֵ֙לֶּה֙ נִטְמְא֣וּ הַגּוֹיִ֔ם אֲשֶׁר־ אֲנִ֥י מְשַׁלֵּ֖חַ מִפְּנֵיכֶֽם׃

KJV ²⁵ And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.

S21 ²⁵ Le pays est devenu impur et j'interviendrai contre lui à cause de son péché; il vomira ses habitants.

WLC ²⁵ וַתִּטְמָ֣א הָאָ֔רֶץ וָאֶפְקֹ֥ד עֲוֺנָ֖הּ עָלֶ֑יהָ וַתָּקִ֥א הָאָ֖רֶץ אֶת־ יֹשְׁבֶֽיהָ׃

KJV ²⁶ Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:

S21 ²⁶ Vous, vous respecterez mes prescriptions et mes règles et vous ne commettrez aucun de ces actes abominables, ni l'Israélite ni l'étranger en séjour parmi vous.

KJV ²⁷ (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)

S21 ²⁷ En effet, toutes ces pratiques abominables, les hommes qui ont habité le pays avant vous les ont commises et le pays en est devenu impur.

WLC ²⁷ כִּ֚י אֶת־ כָּל־ הַתּוֹעֵבֹ֣ת הָאֵ֔ל עָשׂ֥וּ אַנְשֵֽׁי־ הָאָ֖רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֣ר לִפְנֵיכֶ֑ם וַתִּטְמָ֖א הָאָֽרֶץ׃

KJV ²⁸ That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that were before you.

S21 ²⁸ Que le pays n'ait pas à vous vomir parce que vous l'aurez rendu impur, comme il a vomi les nations qui l'habitaient avant vous.

WLC ²⁸ וְלֹֽא־ תָקִ֤יא הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ אֶתְכֶ֔ם בְּטַֽמַּאֲכֶ֖ם אֹתָ֑הּ כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר קָאָ֛ה אֶת־ הַגּ֖וֹי אֲשֶׁ֥ר לִפְנֵיכֶֽם׃

KJV ²⁹ For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.

S21 ²⁹ En effet, tous ceux qui commettront l'une de ces pratiques abominables seront exclus du milieu de leur peuple.

WLC ²⁹ כִּ֚י כָּל־ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יַעֲשֶׂ֔ה מִכֹּ֥ל הַתּוֹעֵב֖וֹת הָאֵ֑לֶּה וְנִכְרְת֛וּ הַנְּפָשׁ֥וֹת הָעֹשֹׂ֖ת מִקֶּ֥רֶב עַמָּֽם׃

KJV ³⁰ Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am the LORD your God.

S21 ³⁰ Vous respecterez mes commandements sans pratiquer aucune des coutumes abominables qui se pratiquaient avant vous; vous ne vous rendrez pas impurs en les pratiquant. Je suis l'Eternel, votre Dieu.»

WLC ³⁰ וּשְׁמַרְתֶּ֣ם אֶת־ מִשְׁמַרְתִּ֗י לְבִלְתִּ֨י עֲשׂ֜וֹת מֵחֻקּ֤וֹת הַתּֽוֹעֵבֹת֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר נַעֲשׂ֣וּ לִפְנֵיכֶ֔ם וְלֹ֥א תִֽטַּמְּא֖וּ בָּהֶ֑ם אֲנִ֖י יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃
