BAN ² Parle à toute l'assemblée des fils d'Israël et dis-leur : Soyez saints, car je suis saint, moi l'Eternel, votre Dieu.

KJV ² Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God am holy.

WLC ² דַּבֵּ֞ר אֶל־ כָּל־ עֲדַ֧ת בְּנֵי־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל וְאָמַרְתָּ֥ אֲלֵהֶ֖ם קְדֹשִׁ֣ים תִּהְי֑וּ כִּ֣י קָד֔וֹשׁ אֲנִ֖י יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃

BAN ³ Que chacun craigne sa mère et son père, observant mes sabbats. Je suis l'Eternel, votre Dieu.

KJV ³ Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my sabbaths: I am the LORD your God.

WLC ³ אִ֣ישׁ אִמּ֤וֹ וְאָבִיו֙ תִּירָ֔אוּ וְאֶת־ שַׁבְּתֹתַ֖י תִּשְׁמֹ֑רוּ אֲנִ֖י יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃

BAN ⁴ Ne vous tournez point vers les faux dieux et ne vous faites point de dieux de fonte. Je suis l'Eternel, votre Dieu.

KJV ⁴ Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am the LORD your God.

WLC ⁴ אַל־ תִּפְנוּ֙ אֶל־ הָ֣אֱלִילִ֔ים וֵֽאלֹהֵי֙ מַסֵּכָ֔ה לֹ֥א תַעֲשׂ֖וּ לָכֶ֑ם אֲנִ֖י יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃

BAN ⁵ Et lorsque vous offrirez un sacrifice d'actions de grâces à l'Eternel, vous l'offrirez de manière à être agréés.

KJV ⁵ And if ye offer a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD, ye shall offer it at your own will.

WLC ⁵ וְכִ֧י תִזְבְּח֛וּ זֶ֥בַח שְׁלָמִ֖ים לַיהוָ֑ה לִֽרְצֹנְכֶ֖ם תִּזְבָּחֻֽהוּ׃

BAN ⁶ On le mangera au jour où vous le sacrifierez, et le lendemain ; ce qui restera jusqu'au troisième jour sera brûlé.

KJV ⁶ It shall be eaten the same day ye offer it, and on the morrow: and if ought remain until the third day, it shall be burnt in the fire.

WLC ⁶ בְּי֧וֹם זִבְחֲכֶ֛ם יֵאָכֵ֖ל וּמִֽמָּחֳרָ֑ת וְהַנּוֹתָר֙ עַד־ י֣וֹם הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֔י בָּאֵ֖שׁ יִשָּׂרֵֽף׃

BAN ⁷ Si on en mange le troisième jour, c'est une abomination, il ne sera point agréé.

KJV ⁷ And if it be eaten at all on the third day, it is abominable; it shall not be accepted.

WLC ⁷ וְאִ֛ם הֵאָכֹ֥ל יֵאָכֵ֖ל בַּיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֑י פִּגּ֥וּל ה֖וּא לֹ֥א יֵרָצֶֽה׃

BAN ⁸ Celui qui en mangera portera son iniquité, car il a profané ce qui est consacré à l'Eternel. Cette personne-là sera retranchée du milieu des siens.

KJV ⁸ Therefore every one that eateth it shall bear his iniquity, because he hath profaned the hallowed thing of the LORD: and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

WLC ⁸ וְאֹֽכְלָיו֙ עֲוֺנ֣וֹ יִשָּׂ֔א כִּֽי־ אֶת־ קֹ֥דֶשׁ יְהוָ֖ה חִלֵּ֑ל וְנִכְרְתָ֛ה הַנֶּ֥פֶשׁ הַהִ֖וא מֵעַמֶּֽיהָ׃

BAN ⁹ Quand vous ferez les moissons de votre pays, tu n'iras pas jusqu'au bout de ton champ en moissonnant et tu ne glaneras pas ce qu'il y a à glaner de ta moisson.

KJV ⁹ And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not wholly reap the corners of thy field, neither shalt thou gather the gleanings of thy harvest.

WLC ⁹ וּֽבְקֻצְרְכֶם֙ אֶת־ קְצִ֣יר אַרְצְכֶ֔ם לֹ֧א תְכַלֶּ֛ה פְּאַ֥ת שָׂדְךָ֖ לִקְצֹ֑ר וְלֶ֥קֶט קְצִֽירְךָ֖ לֹ֥א תְלַקֵּֽט׃

BAN ¹⁰ Tu ne grapilleras pas dans ta vigne et tu ne ramasseras pas dans ton verger les fruits tombés. Tu laisseras cela au pauvre et à l'étranger. Je suis l'Eternel, votre Dieu.

KJV ¹⁰ And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather every grape of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and stranger: I am the LORD your God.

WLC ¹⁰ וְכַרְמְךָ֙ לֹ֣א תְעוֹלֵ֔ל וּפֶ֥רֶט כַּרְמְךָ֖ לֹ֣א תְלַקֵּ֑ט לֶֽעָנִ֤י וְלַגֵּר֙ תַּעֲזֹ֣ב אֹתָ֔ם אֲנִ֖י יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃

BAN ¹¹ Vous ne déroberez point, vous ne nierez point [un dépôt] et vous ne mentirez point à votre prochain.

KJV ¹¹ Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.

WLC ¹¹ לֹ֖א תִּגְנֹ֑בוּ וְלֹא־ תְכַחֲשׁ֥וּ וְלֹֽא־ תְשַׁקְּר֖וּ אִ֥ישׁ בַּעֲמִיתֽוֹ׃

BAN ¹² Vous ne jurerez point par mon nom en mentant, tu profanerais le nom de ton Dieu. Je suis l'Eternel.

KJV ¹² And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.

WLC ¹² וְלֹֽא־ תִשָּׁבְע֥וּ בִשְׁמִ֖י לַשָּׁ֑קֶר וְחִלַּלְתָּ֛ אֶת־ שֵׁ֥ם אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ אֲנִ֥י יְהוָֽה׃

BAN ¹³ Tu ne fouleras point ton prochain et tu ne le dépouilleras pas. Tu ne retiendras point jusqu'au lendemain le salaire du journalier.

KJV ¹³ Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbour, neither rob him: the wages of him that is hired shall not abide with thee all night until the morning.

WLC ¹³ לֹֽא־ תַעֲשֹׁ֥ק אֶת־ רֵֽעֲךָ֖ וְלֹ֣א תִגְזֹ֑ל לֹֽא־ תָלִ֞ין פְּעֻלַּ֥ת שָׂכִ֛יר אִתְּךָ֖ עַד־ בֹּֽקֶר׃

BAN ¹⁴ Tu ne maudiras point un sourd et tu ne mettras pas devant un aveugle quelque chose qui puisse le faire tomber, tu auras crainte de ton Dieu : je suis l'Eternel.

KJV ¹⁴ Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor put a stumblingblock before the blind, but shalt fear thy God: I am the LORD.

WLC ¹⁴ לֹא־ תְקַלֵּ֣ל חֵרֵ֔שׁ וְלִפְנֵ֣י עִוֵּ֔ר לֹ֥א תִתֵּ֖ן מִכְשֹׁ֑ל וְיָרֵ֥אתָ מֵּאֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ אֲנִ֥י יְהוָֽה׃

BAN ¹⁵ Vous ne commettrez point d'injustice en jugeant ; tu n'auras pas de faveur pour le petit, ni de complaisance pour le grand tu jugeras ton prochain selon la justice.

KJV ¹⁵ Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.

WLC ¹⁵ לֹא־ תַעֲשׂ֥וּ עָ֙וֶל֙ בַּמִּשְׁפָּ֔ט לֹא־ תִשָּׂ֣א פְנֵי־ דָ֔ל וְלֹ֥א תֶהְדַּ֖ר פְּנֵ֣י גָד֑וֹל בְּצֶ֖דֶק תִּשְׁפֹּ֥ט עֲמִיתֶֽךָ׃

BAN ¹⁶ Tu ne colporteras pas de diffamations au milieu de ton peuple ; ne te présente pas comme témoin contre le sang de ton prochain : je suis l'Eternel.

KJV ¹⁶ Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour; I am the LORD.

WLC ¹⁶ לֹא־ תֵלֵ֤ךְ רָכִיל֙ בְּעַמֶּ֔יךָ לֹ֥א תַעֲמֹ֖ד עַל־ דַּ֣ם רֵעֶ֑ךָ אֲנִ֖י יְהוָֽה׃

BAN ¹⁷ Tu ne haïras pas ton frère dans ton coeur ; tu ne manqueras pas de reprendre ton prochain, afin de ne pas te charger d'un péché à cause de lui.

KJV ¹⁷ Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.

WLC ¹⁷ לֹֽא־ תִשְׂנָ֥א אֶת־ אָחִ֖יךָ בִּלְבָבֶ֑ךָ הוֹכֵ֤חַ תּוֹכִ֙יחַ֙ אֶת־ עֲמִיתֶ֔ךָ וְלֹא־ תִשָּׂ֥א עָלָ֖יו חֵֽטְא׃

BAN ¹⁸ Tu ne te vengeras pas et tu ne garderas pas de rancune contre les enfants de ton peuple et tu aimeras ton prochain comme toi-même : je suis l'Eternel.

KJV ¹⁸ Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.

WLC ¹⁸ לֹֽא־ תִקֹּ֤ם וְלֹֽא־ תִטֹּר֙ אֶת־ בְּנֵ֣י עַמֶּ֔ךָ וְאָֽהַבְתָּ֥ לְרֵעֲךָ֖ כָּמ֑וֹךָ אֲנִ֖י יְהוָֽה׃

BAN ¹⁹ Vous observerez mes ordonnances. Tu n'accoupleras pas des bestiaux d'espèces différentes. Tu n'ensemenceras pas ton champ de deux espèces de semences. Tu ne porteras pas un vêtement tissu de deux espèces de fils.

KJV ¹⁹ Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee.

WLC ¹⁹ אֶֽת־ חֻקֹּתַי֮ תִּשְׁמֹרוּ֒ בְּהֶמְתְּךָ֙ לֹא־ תַרְבִּ֣יעַ כִּלְאַ֔יִם שָׂדְךָ֖ לֹא־ תִזְרַ֣ע כִּלְאָ֑יִם וּבֶ֤גֶד כִּלְאַ֙יִם֙ שַֽׁעַטְנֵ֔ז לֹ֥א יַעֲלֶ֖ה עָלֶֽיךָ׃

BAN ²⁰ Si un homme a commerce avec une femme et que ce soit une esclave unie à un autre homme et qui n'a pas été rachetée ou affranchie, ils seront châtiés, mais non punis de mort, car elle n'était pas affranchie.

KJV ²⁰ And whosoever lieth carnally with a woman, that is a bondmaid, betrothed to an husband, and not at all redeemed, nor freedom given her; she shall be scourged; they shall not be put to death, because she was not free.

WLC ²⁰ וְ֠אִישׁ כִּֽי־ יִשְׁכַּ֨ב אֶת־ אִשָּׁ֜ה שִׁכְבַת־ זֶ֗רַע וְהִ֤וא שִׁפְחָה֙ נֶחֱרֶ֣פֶת לְאִ֔ישׁ וְהָפְדֵּה֙ לֹ֣א נִפְדָּ֔תָה א֥וֹ חֻפְשָׁ֖ה לֹ֣א נִתַּן־ לָ֑הּ בִּקֹּ֧רֶת תִּהְיֶ֛ה לֹ֥א יוּמְת֖וּ כִּי־ לֹ֥א חֻפָּֽשָׁה׃

BAN ²¹ L'homme amènera à l'Eternel à l'entrée de la Tente d'assignation un bélier en sacrifice de réparation.

KJV ²¹ And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, even a ram for a trespass offering.

WLC ²¹ וְהֵבִ֤יא אֶת־ אֲשָׁמוֹ֙ לַֽיהוָ֔ה אֶל־ פֶּ֖תַח אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד אֵ֖יל אָשָֽׁם׃

BAN ²² Et avec le bélier du sacrifice de réparation le sacrificateur fera propitiation pour lui devant l'Eternel, pour le péché qu'il a commis, et le péché qu'il a commis lui sera pardonné.

KJV ²² And the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering before the LORD for his sin which he hath done: and the sin which he hath done shall be forgiven him.

WLC ²² וְכִפֶּר֩ עָלָ֨יו הַכֹּהֵ֜ן בְּאֵ֤יל הָֽאָשָׁם֙ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה עַל־ חַטָּאת֖וֹ אֲשֶׁ֣ר חָטָ֑א וְנִסְלַ֣ח ל֔וֹ מֵחַטָּאת֖וֹ אֲשֶׁ֥ר חָטָֽא׃

BAN ²³ Et quand vous entrerez dans le pays et que vous planterez toutes sortes d'arbres fruitiers, vous considérerez pendant trois ans leurs fruits comme leurs prépuces ; ils seront incirconcis pour vous, on n'en mangera point.

KJV ²³ And when ye shall come into the land, and shall have planted all manner of trees for food, then ye shall count the fruit thereof as uncircumcised: three years shall it be as uncircumcised unto you: it shall not be eaten of.

WLC ²³ וְכִי־ תָבֹ֣אוּ אֶל־ הָאָ֗רֶץ וּנְטַעְתֶּם֙ כָּל־ עֵ֣ץ מַאֲכָ֔ל וַעֲרַלְתֶּ֥ם עָרְלָת֖וֹ אֶת־ פִּרְי֑וֹ שָׁלֹ֣שׁ שָׁנִ֗ים יִהְיֶ֥ה לָכֶ֛ם עֲרֵלִ֖ים לֹ֥א יֵאָכֵֽל׃

BAN ²⁴ Et la quatrième année tous leurs fruits seront consacrés avec reconnaissance à l'Eternel.

KJV ²⁴ But in the fourth year all the fruit thereof shall be holy to praise the LORD withal.

WLC ²⁴ וּבַשָּׁנָה֙ הָרְבִיעִ֔ת יִהְיֶ֖ה כָּל־ פִּרְי֑וֹ קֹ֥דֶשׁ הִלּוּלִ֖ים לַיהוָֽה׃

BAN ²⁵ Et la cinquième année vous en mangerez le fruit, afin que l'arbre vous continue son rapport : je suis l'Eternel, votre Dieu.

KJV ²⁵ And in the fifth year shall ye eat of the fruit thereof, that it may yield unto you the increase thereof: I am the LORD your God.

WLC ²⁵ וּבַשָּׁנָ֣ה הַחֲמִישִׁ֗ת תֹּֽאכְלוּ֙ אֶת־ פִּרְי֔וֹ לְהוֹסִ֥יף לָכֶ֖ם תְּבוּאָת֑וֹ אֲנִ֖י יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃

BAN ²⁶ Vous ne mangerez rien avec le sang. Vous ne pratiquerez aucune sorte de divination ou de magie.

KJV ²⁶ Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times.

WLC ²⁶ לֹ֥א תֹאכְל֖וּ עַל־ הַדָּ֑ם לֹ֥א תְנַחֲשׁ֖וּ וְלֹ֥א תְעוֹנֵֽנוּ׃

BAN ²⁷ Vous ne tondrez pas en rond votre tête et tu n'enlèveras pas les côtés de ta barbe.

KJV ²⁷ Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard.

WLC ²⁷ לֹ֣א תַקִּ֔פוּ פְּאַ֖ת רֹאשְׁכֶ֑ם וְלֹ֣א תַשְׁחִ֔ית אֵ֖ת פְּאַ֥ת זְקָנֶֽךָ׃

BAN ²⁸ Vous ne vous ferez pas d'incisions dans la chair pour un mort et vous n'imprimerez point de figures sur vous : je suis l'Eternel.

KJV ²⁸ Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.

WLC ²⁸ וְשֶׂ֣רֶט לָנֶ֗פֶשׁ לֹ֤א תִתְּנוּ֙ בִּבְשַׂרְכֶ֔ם וּכְתֹ֣בֶת קַֽעֲקַ֔ע לֹ֥א תִתְּנ֖וּ בָּכֶ֑ם אֲנִ֖י יְהוָֽה׃

BAN ²⁹ Ne déshonore pas ta fille en la prostituant, et que le pays ne se livre pas à la prostitution et ne se remplisse pas de crimes.

KJV ²⁹ Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness.

WLC ²⁹ אַל־ תְּחַלֵּ֥ל אֶֽת־ בִּתְּךָ֖ לְהַזְנוֹתָ֑הּ וְלֹא־ תִזְנֶ֣ה הָאָ֔רֶץ וּמָלְאָ֥ה הָאָ֖רֶץ זִמָּֽה׃

BAN ³⁰ Vous observerez mes sabbats et vous révérerez mon sanctuaire je suis l'Eternel.

KJV ³⁰ Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.

WLC ³⁰ אֶת־ שַׁבְּתֹתַ֣י תִּשְׁמֹ֔רוּ וּמִקְדָּשִׁ֖י תִּירָ֑אוּ אֲנִ֖י יְהוָֽה׃

BAN ³¹ Ne vous adressez pas aux évocateurs et aux devins ; ne les consultez pas, vous souillant par eux : je suis l'Eternel, votre Dieu.

KJV ³¹ Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.

WLC ³¹ אַל־ תִּפְנ֤וּ אֶל־ הָאֹבֹת֙ וְאֶל־ הַיִּדְּעֹנִ֔ים אַל־ תְּבַקְשׁ֖וּ לְטָמְאָ֣ה בָהֶ֑ם אֲנִ֖י יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃

BAN ³² Lève-toi devant les cheveux blancs, honore le vieillard et aie crainte de ton Dieu : je suis l'Eternel.

KJV ³² Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honour the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am the LORD.

WLC ³² מִפְּנֵ֤י שֵׂיבָה֙ תָּק֔וּם וְהָדַרְתָּ֖ פְּנֵ֣י זָקֵ֑ן וְיָרֵ֥אתָ מֵּאֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ אֲנִ֥י יְהוָֽה׃

BAN ³³ Quand un étranger séjournera parmi vous, dans votre pays, vous ne le molesterez pas.

KJV ³³ And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him.

WLC ³³ וְכִֽי־ יָג֧וּר אִתְּךָ֛ גֵּ֖ר בְּאַרְצְכֶ֑ם לֹ֥א תוֹנ֖וּ אֹתֽוֹ׃

BAN ³⁴ L'étranger qui séjourne parmi vous sera pour vous comme un des vôtres ; tu l'aimeras comme toi-même ; car vous avez été étrangers dans le pays d'Egypte : je suis l'Eternel, votre Dieu.

KJV ³⁴ But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.

WLC ³⁴ כְּאֶזְרָ֣ח מִכֶּם֩ יִהְיֶ֨ה לָכֶ֜ם הַגֵּ֣ר ׀ הַגָּ֣ר אִתְּכֶ֗ם וְאָהַבְתָּ֥ לוֹ֙ כָּמ֔וֹךָ כִּֽי־ גֵרִ֥ים הֱיִיתֶ֖ם בְּאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם אֲנִ֖י יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃

BAN ³⁵ Vous ne commettrez point d'injustice en affaires, ni dans les mesures de longueur, ni dans les poids, ni dans les mesures de capacité.

KJV ³⁵ Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in meteyard, in weight, or in measure.

WLC ³⁵ לֹא־ תַעֲשׂ֥וּ עָ֖וֶל בַּמִּשְׁפָּ֑ט בַּמִּדָּ֕ה בַּמִּשְׁקָ֖ל וּבַמְּשׂוּרָֽה׃

BAN ³⁶ Vous aurez une balance juste, des poids justes, un épha juste et un hin juste : je suis l'Eternel, votre Dieu, qui vous ai fait sortir d'Egypte.

KJV ³⁶ Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin, shall ye have: I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt.

WLC ³⁶ מֹ֧אזְנֵי צֶ֣דֶק אַבְנֵי־ צֶ֗דֶק אֵ֥יפַת צֶ֛דֶק וְהִ֥ין צֶ֖דֶק יִהְיֶ֣ה לָכֶ֑ם אֲנִי֙ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֔ם אֲשֶׁר־ הוֹצֵ֥אתִי אֶתְכֶ֖ם מֵאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃

BAN ³⁷ Vous observerez donc tous mes statuts et toutes mes ordonnances et vous les pratiquerez : je suis l'Eternel.

KJV ³⁷ Therefore shall ye observe all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: I am the LORD.

WLC ³⁷ וּשְׁמַרְתֶּ֤ם אֶת־ כָּל־ חֻקֹּתַי֙ וְאֶת־ כָּל־ מִשְׁפָּטַ֔י וַעֲשִׂיתֶ֖ם אֹתָ֑ם אֲנִ֖י יְהוָֽה׃
