DRB ² Tu diras aussi aux fils d'Israël : Quiconque d'entre les fils d'Israël, ou d'entre les étrangers qui séjournent en Israël, donnera de ses enfants* à Moloc, sera certainement mis à mort ; le peuple du pays le lapidera avec des pierres.

KJV ² Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones.

MAR ² Tu diras aux enfants d'Israël : Quiconque des enfants d'Israël, ou des étrangers qui demeurent en Israël, donnera de sa postérité à Molec, sera puni de mort ; le peuple du pays l'assommera de pierres.

DRB ³ Et moi, je mettrai ma face contre cet homme-là, et je le retrancherai du milieu de son peuple, parce qu'il a donné de ses enfants* à Moloc, pour rendre impur mon sanctuaire et pour profaner mon saint nom.

KJV ³ And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.

DRB ⁴ Et si le peuple du pays ferme les yeux, en quelque manière, sur cet homme, quand il donne de ses enfants* à Moloc, pour ne pas le faire mourir,

KJV ⁴ And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not:

MAR ⁴ Que si le peuple du pays ferme les yeux en quelque manière que se soit, pour ne point voir quand cet homme-là aura donné de sa postérité à Molec, [et] ne le point faire mourir ;

DRB ⁵ moi, je mettrai ma face contre cet homme et contre sa famille, et je le retrancherai du milieu de son peuple, lui et tous ceux qui se prostituent après lui, se prostituant après Moloc.

KJV ⁵ Then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people.

DRB ⁶ - Et l'âme qui se tournera vers ceux qui évoquent les esprits, et vers les diseurs de bonne aventure, se prostituant après eux, je mettrai ma face contre cette âme-là, et je la retrancherai du milieu de son peuple.

KJV ⁶ And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.

MAR ⁶ Quant à la personne qui se détournera après ceux qui ont l'esprit de Python, et après les devins, en paillardant après eux, je mettrai ma face contre cette personne-là, et je la retrancherai du milieu de son peuple.

DRB ⁷ Et vous vous sanctifierez et vous serez saints, car moi, je suis l'Éternel, votre Dieu.

KJV ⁷ Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your God.

DRB ⁸ Et vous garderez mes statuts, et vous les ferez. Moi, je suis l'Éternel qui vous sanctifie.

KJV ⁸ And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the LORD which sanctify you.

DRB ⁹ Tout homme qui maudira son père et sa mère sera certainement mis à mort ; il a maudit son père et sa mère, son sang est sur lui.

KJV ⁹ For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.

MAR ⁹ Quand quelqu'un aura maudit son père ou sa mère, on le fera mourir de mort ; il a maudit son père ou sa mère, son sang est sur lui.

WLC ⁹ כִּֽי־ אִ֣ישׁ אִ֗ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֨ר יְקַלֵּ֧ל אֶת־ אָבִ֛יו וְאֶת־ אִמּ֖וֹ מ֣וֹת יוּמָ֑ת אָבִ֧יו וְאִמּ֛וֹ קִלֵּ֖ל דָּמָ֥יו בּֽוֹ׃

DRB ¹⁰ Et un homme qui commet adultère avec la femme d'un autre, - qui commet adultère avec la femme de son prochain… : l'homme et la femme adultères seront certainement mis à mort.

KJV ¹⁰ And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

MAR ¹⁰ Quant à l'homme qui aura commis adultère avec la femme d'un autre, parce qu'il a commis adultère avec la femme de son prochain, on fera mourir de mort l'homme et la femme adultères.

WLC ¹⁰ וְאִ֗ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֤ר יִנְאַף֙ אֶת־ אֵ֣שֶׁת אִ֔ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֥ר יִנְאַ֖ף אֶת־ אֵ֣שֶׁת רֵעֵ֑הוּ מֽוֹת־ יוּמַ֥ת הַנֹּאֵ֖ף וְהַנֹּאָֽפֶת׃

DRB ¹¹ Et l'homme qui couchera avec la femme de son père, découvre la nudité de son père ; ils seront certainement mis à mort, tous deux : leur sang est sur eux.

KJV ¹² And if a man lie with his daughter in law, both of them shall surely be put to death: they have wrought confusion; their blood shall be upon them.

DRB ¹³ Et si un homme couche avec un mâle, comme on couche avec une femme, ils ont fait tous deux une chose abominable ; ils seront certainement mis à mort : leur sang est sur eux.

KJV ¹³ If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

DRB ¹⁴ Et si un homme prend une femme et sa mère, c'est une infamie ; on les brûlera au feu, lui et elles, et il n'y aura point d'infamie au milieu de vous.

KJV ¹⁴ And if a man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you.

MAR ¹⁴ Et quand un homme aura pris une femme, et la mère de cette femme, c'est une énormité, il sera brûlé au feu avec elles, afin qu'il n'y ait point d'énormité au milieu de vous.

DRB ¹⁵ Et si un homme couche avec une bête, il sera certainement mis à mort ; et vous tuerez la bête.

KJV ¹⁵ And if a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death: and ye shall slay the beast.

DRB ¹⁶ Et si une femme s'approche d'une bête, quelle qu'elle soit, pour se prostituer à elle, tu tueras la femme et la bête ; elles seront certainement mises à mort : leur sang est sur elles.

KJV ¹⁶ And if a woman approach unto any beast, and lie down thereto, thou shalt kill the woman, and the beast: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

DRB ¹⁷ Et si un homme prend sa sœur, fille de son père, ou fille de sa mère, et voit sa nudité, et qu'elle voie sa nudité à lui, c'est une honte : ils seront retranchés devant les yeux des fils de leur peuple ; il a découvert la nudité de sa sœur, il portera son iniquité.

KJV ¹⁷ And if a man shall take his sister, his father's daughter, or his mother's daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; it is a wicked thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people: he hath uncovered his sister's nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.

MAR ¹⁷ Quand un homme aura pris sa soeur, fille de son père, ou fille de sa mère, et aura vu sa nudité, et qu'elle aura vu la nudité de cet homme ; c'est une chose infâme ; ils seront donc retranchés en la présence des enfants de leur peuple ; il a découvert la nudité de sa soeur, il portera son iniquité.

DRB ¹⁸ Et si un homme couche avec une femme qui a son infirmité, et découvre sa nudité, il met à découvert son flux, et elle découvre le flux de son sang : ils seront tous deux retranchés du milieu de leur peuple.

KJV ¹⁸ And if a man shall lie with a woman having her sickness, and shall uncover her nakedness; he hath discovered her fountain, and she hath uncovered the fountain of her blood: and both of them shall be cut off from among their people.

DRB ¹⁹ Et tu ne découvriras point la nudité de la sœur de ta mère, ni de la sœur de ton père ; car celui qui fait cela met* à nu sa propre chair : ils porteront leur iniquité.

KJV ¹⁹ And thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister, nor of thy father's sister: for he uncovereth his near kin: they shall bear their iniquity.

DRB ²⁰ Et si un homme couche avec sa tante, il découvre la nudité de son oncle ; ils porteront leur péché : ils mourront sans enfants.

KJV ²⁰ And if a man shall lie with his uncle's wife, he hath uncovered his uncle's nakedness: they shall bear their sin; they shall die childless.

MAR ²⁰ Et quand un homme aura couché avec sa tante, il a découvert la nudité de son oncle ; ils porteront leur péché, et ils mourront sans en laisser d'enfants.

KJV ²¹ And if a man shall take his brother's wife, it is an unclean thing: he hath uncovered his brother's nakedness; they shall be childless.

MAR ²¹ Et quand un homme aura pris la femme de son frère, c'est une ordure ; il a découvert la honte de son frère, ils n'[en] auront point d'enfants.

DRB ²³ Et vous ne marcherez point dans les statuts de la nation que je chasse devant vous ; car ils ont fait toutes ces choses-là, et je les ai eus en abomination ;

KJV ²³ And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.

MAR ²³ Vous ne suivrez point aussi les ordonnances des nations que je m'en vais chasser de devant vous ; car elles ont fait toutes ces choses-là, et je les ai eues en abomination.

WLC ²³ וְלֹ֤א תֵֽלְכוּ֙ בְּחֻקֹּ֣ת הַגּ֔וֹי אֲשֶׁר־ אֲנִ֥י מְשַׁלֵּ֖חַ מִפְּנֵיכֶ֑ם כִּ֤י אֶת־ כָּל־ אֵ֙לֶּה֙ עָשׂ֔וּ וָאָקֻ֖ץ בָּֽם׃

DRB ²⁴ et je vous ai dit : C'est vous qui posséderez leur terre, et je vous la donnerai pour la posséder, un pays ruisselant de lait et de miel. Moi, je suis l'Éternel, votre Dieu, qui vous ai séparés des peuples.

KJV ²⁴ But I have said unto you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land that floweth with milk and honey: I am the LORD your God, which have separated you from other people.

MAR ²⁴ Et je vous ai dit : Vous posséderez leur pays, et je vous le donnerai pour le posséder ; c'est un pays découlant de lait et de miel. Je suis l'Eternel votre Dieu, qui vous ai séparés des [autres] peuples.

WLC ²⁴ וָאֹמַ֣ר לָכֶ֗ם אַתֶּם֮ תִּֽירְשׁ֣וּ אֶת־ אַדְמָתָם֒ וַאֲנִ֞י אֶתְּנֶ֤נָּה לָכֶם֙ לָרֶ֣שֶׁת אֹתָ֔הּ אֶ֛רֶץ זָבַ֥ת חָלָ֖ב וּדְבָ֑שׁ אֲנִי֙ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֔ם אֲשֶׁר־ הִבְדַּ֥לְתִּי אֶתְכֶ֖ם מִן־ הָֽעַמִּֽים׃

DRB ²⁵ Et vous discernerez entre la bête pure et l'impure, et entre l'oiseau impur et le pur, et vous ne vous* rendrez point abominables par des bêtes, ou par des oiseaux, ou par tout ce qui rampe sur la terre, que j'ai séparé, le déclarant impur.

KJV ²⁵ Ye shall therefore put difference between clean beasts and unclean, and between unclean fowls and clean: and ye shall not make your souls abominable by beast, or by fowl, or by any manner of living thing that creepeth on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean.

MAR ²⁵ C'est pourquoi séparez la bête nette de la souillée, l'oiseau net d'avec le souillé, et ne rendez point abominables vos personnes [en mangeant] des bêtes et des oiseaux [immondes], ni rien qui rampe sur la terre, rien de ce que je vous ai défendu comme une chose immonde.

WLC ²⁵ וְהִבְדַּלְתֶּ֞ם בֵּֽין־ הַבְּהֵמָ֤ה הַטְּהֹרָה֙ לַטְּמֵאָ֔ה וּבֵין־ הָע֥וֹף הַטָּמֵ֖א לַטָּהֹ֑ר וְלֹֽא־ תְשַׁקְּצ֨וּ אֶת־ נַפְשֹֽׁתֵיכֶ֜ם בַּבְּהֵמָ֣ה וּבָע֗וֹף וּבְכֹל֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר תִּרְמֹ֣שׂ הָֽאֲדָמָ֔ה אֲשֶׁר־ הִבְדַּ֥לְתִּי לָכֶ֖ם לְטַמֵּֽא׃

DRB ²⁶ Et vous me serez saints, car je suis saint, moi, l'Éternel ; et je vous ai séparés des peuples, pour être à moi.

KJV ²⁶ And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.

DRB ²⁷ Et si un homme ou une femme sont évocateurs d'esprits, ou diseurs de bonne aventure, ils seront certainement mis à mort ; on les lapidera avec des pierres : leur sang sera sur eux.

KJV ²⁷ A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them.
