KJV ² Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones.

NEG ² Tu diras aux enfants d'Israël: Si un homme des enfants d'Israël ou des étrangers qui séjournent en Israël livre à Moloc l'un de ses enfants, il sera puni de mort: le peuple du pays le lapidera.

VULC ² Hæc loqueris filiis Israël : Homo de filiis Israël, et de advenis qui habitant in Israël, si quis dederit de semine suo idolo Moloch, morte moriatur : populus terræ lapidabit eum.

WLC ² וְאֶל־ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֘ל תֹּאמַר֒ אִ֣ישׁ אִישׁ֩ מִבְּנֵ֨י יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל וּמִן־ הַגֵּ֣ר ׀ הַגָּ֣ר בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִתֵּ֧ן מִזַּרְע֛וֹ לַמֹּ֖לֶךְ מ֣וֹת יוּמָ֑ת עַ֥ם הָאָ֖רֶץ יִרְגְּמֻ֥הוּ בָאָֽבֶן׃

KJV ³ And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.

NEG ³ Et moi, je tournerai ma face contre cet homme, et je le retrancherai du milieu de son peuple, parce qu'il a livré de ses enfants à Moloc, souillé mon sanctuaire et profané mon saint nom.

VULC ³ Et ego ponam faciem meam contra illum : succidamque eum de medio populi sui, eo quod dederit de semine suo Moloch, et contaminaverit sanctuarium meum, ac polluerit nomen sanctum meum.

WLC ³ וַאֲנִ֞י אֶתֵּ֤ן אֶת־ פָּנַי֙ בָּאִ֣ישׁ הַה֔וּא וְהִכְרַתִּ֥י אֹת֖וֹ מִקֶּ֣רֶב עַמּ֑וֹ כִּ֤י מִזַּרְעוֹ֙ נָתַ֣ן לַמֹּ֔לֶךְ לְמַ֗עַן טַמֵּא֙ אֶת־ מִקְדָּשִׁ֔י וּלְחַלֵּ֖ל אֶת־ שֵׁ֥ם קָדְשִֽׁי׃

KJV ⁴ And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not:

NEG ⁴ Si le peuple du pays détourne ses regards de cet homme, qui livre de ses enfants à Moloc, et s'il ne le fait pas mourir,

VULC ⁴ Quod si negligens populus terræ, et quasi parvipendens imperium meum, dimiserit hominem qui dedit de semine suo Moloch, nec voluerit eum occidere :

WLC ⁴ וְאִ֡ם הַעְלֵ֣ם יַעְלִימֽוּ֩ עַ֨ם הָאָ֜רֶץ אֶת־ עֵֽינֵיהֶם֙ מִן־ הָאִ֣ישׁ הַה֔וּא בְּתִתּ֥וֹ מִזַּרְע֖וֹ לַמֹּ֑לֶךְ לְבִלְתִּ֖י הָמִ֥ית אֹתֽוֹ׃

KJV ⁵ Then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people.

NEG ⁵ je tournerai, moi, ma face contre cet homme et contre sa famille, et je le retrancherai du milieu de son peuple, avec tous ceux qui se prostituent comme lui en se prostituant à Moloc.

VULC ⁵ ponam faciem meam super hominem illum, et super cognationem ejus, succidamque et ipsum, et omnes qui consenserunt ei ut fornicarentur cum Moloch, de medio populi sui.

WLC ⁵ וְשַׂמְתִּ֨י אֲנִ֧י אֶת־ פָּנַ֛י בָּאִ֥ישׁ הַה֖וּא וּבְמִשְׁפַּחְתּ֑וֹ וְהִכְרַתִּ֨י אֹת֜וֹ וְאֵ֣ת ׀ כָּל־ הַזֹּנִ֣ים אַחֲרָ֗יו לִזְנ֛וֹת אַחֲרֵ֥י הַמֹּ֖לֶךְ מִקֶּ֥רֶב עַמָּֽם׃

KJV ⁶ And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.

NEG ⁶ Si quelqu'un s'adresse aux morts et aux esprits, pour se prostituer à eux, je tournerai ma face contre cet homme, je le retrancherai du milieu de son peuple.

VULC ⁶ Anima, quæ declinaverit ad magos et ariolos, et fornicata fuerit cum eis, ponam faciem meam contra eam, et interficiam illam de medio populi sui.

WLC ⁶ וְהַנֶּ֗פֶשׁ אֲשֶׁ֨ר תִּפְנֶ֤ה אֶל־ הָֽאֹבֹת֙ וְאֶל־ הַיִּדְּעֹנִ֔ים לִזְנ֖וֹת אַחֲרֵיהֶ֑ם וְנָתַתִּ֤י אֶת־ פָּנַי֙ בַּנֶּ֣פֶשׁ הַהִ֔וא וְהִכְרַתִּ֥י אֹת֖וֹ מִקֶּ֥רֶב עַמּֽוֹ׃

KJV ⁷ Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your God.

NEG ⁷ Vous vous sanctifierez et vous serez saints, car je suis l'Eternel, votre Dieu.

VULC ⁷ Sanctificamini et estote sancti, quia ego sum Dominus Deus vester.

WLC ⁷ וְהִ֨תְקַדִּשְׁתֶּ֔ם וִהְיִיתֶ֖ם קְדֹשִׁ֑ים כִּ֛י אֲנִ֥י יְהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃

KJV ⁸ And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the LORD which sanctify you.

NEG ⁸ Vous observerez mes lois, et vous les mettrez en pratique. Je suis l'Eternel, qui vous sanctifie.

VULC ⁸ Custodite præcepta mea, et facite ea : ego Dominus qui sanctifico vos.

WLC ⁸ וּשְׁמַרְתֶּם֙ אֶת־ חֻקֹּתַ֔י וַעֲשִׂיתֶ֖ם אֹתָ֑ם אֲנִ֥י יְהוָ֖ה מְקַדִּשְׁכֶֽם׃

KJV ⁹ For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.

NEG ⁹ Si un homme quelconque maudit son père ou sa mère, il sera puni de mort; il a maudit son père ou sa mère: son sang retombera sur lui.

VULC ⁹ Qui maledixerit patri suo, aut matri, morte moriatur : patri matrique maledixit : sanguis ejus sit super eum.

WLC ⁹ כִּֽי־ אִ֣ישׁ אִ֗ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֨ר יְקַלֵּ֧ל אֶת־ אָבִ֛יו וְאֶת־ אִמּ֖וֹ מ֣וֹת יוּמָ֑ת אָבִ֧יו וְאִמּ֛וֹ קִלֵּ֖ל דָּמָ֥יו בּֽוֹ׃

KJV ¹⁰ And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

NEG ¹⁰ Si un homme commet un adultère avec une femme mariée, s'il commet un adultère avec la femme de son prochain, l'homme et la femme adultères seront punis de mort.

VULC ¹⁰ Si mœchatus quis fuerit cum uxore alterius, et adulterium perpetraverit cum conjuge proximi sui, morte moriantur et mœchus et adultera.

WLC ¹⁰ וְאִ֗ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֤ר יִנְאַף֙ אֶת־ אֵ֣שֶׁת אִ֔ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֥ר יִנְאַ֖ף אֶת־ אֵ֣שֶׁת רֵעֵ֑הוּ מֽוֹת־ יוּמַ֥ת הַנֹּאֵ֖ף וְהַנֹּאָֽפֶת׃

KJV ¹¹ And the man that lieth with his father's wife hath uncovered his father's nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

NEG ¹¹ Si un homme couche avec la femme de son père, et découvre ainsi la nudité de son père, cet homme et cette femme seront punis de mort: leur sang retombera sur eux.

VULC ¹¹ Qui dormierit cum noverca sua, et revelaverit ignominiam patris sui, morte moriantur ambo : sanguis eorum sit super eos.

WLC ¹¹ וְאִ֗ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֤ר יִשְׁכַּב֙ אֶת־ אֵ֣שֶׁת אָבִ֔יו עֶרְוַ֥ת אָבִ֖יו גִּלָּ֑ה מֽוֹת־ יוּמְת֥וּ שְׁנֵיהֶ֖ם דְּמֵיהֶ֥ם בָּֽם׃

KJV ¹² And if a man lie with his daughter in law, both of them shall surely be put to death: they have wrought confusion; their blood shall be upon them.

NEG ¹² Si un homme couche avec sa belle-fille, ils seront tous deux punis de mort; ils ont fait une abomination: leur sang retombera sur eux.

VULC ¹² Si quis dormierit cum nuru sua, uterque moriatur, quia scelus operati sunt : sanguis eorum sit super eos.

WLC ¹² וְאִ֗ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֤ר יִשְׁכַּב֙ אֶת־ כַּלָּת֔וֹ מ֥וֹת יוּמְת֖וּ שְׁנֵיהֶ֑ם תֶּ֥בֶל עָשׂ֖וּ דְּמֵיהֶ֥ם בָּֽם׃

KJV ¹³ If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

NEG ¹³ Si un homme couche avec un homme comme on couche avec une femme, ils ont fait tous deux une chose abominable; ils seront punis de mort: leur sang retombera sur eux.

VULC ¹³ Qui dormierit cum masculo coitu femineo, uterque operatus est nefas : morte moriantur : sit sanguis eorum super eos.

WLC ¹³ וְאִ֗ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִשְׁכַּ֤ב אֶת־ זָכָר֙ מִשְׁכְּבֵ֣י אִשָּׁ֔ה תּוֹעֵבָ֥ה עָשׂ֖וּ שְׁנֵיהֶ֑ם מ֥וֹת יוּמָ֖תוּ דְּמֵיהֶ֥ם בָּֽם׃

KJV ¹⁴ And if a man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you.

NEG ¹⁴ Si un homme prend pour femmes la fille et la mère, c'est un crime: on les brûlera au feu, lui et elles, afin que ce crime n'existe pas au milieu de vous.

VULC ¹⁴ Qui supra uxorem filiam, duxerit matrem ejus, scelus operatus est : vivus ardebit cum eis, nec permanebit tantum nefas in medio vestri.

WLC ¹⁴ וְאִ֗ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִקַּ֧ח אֶת־ אִשָּׁ֛ה וְאֶת־ אִמָּ֖הּ זִמָּ֣ה הִ֑וא בָּאֵ֞שׁ יִשְׂרְפ֤וּ אֹתוֹ֙ וְאֶתְהֶ֔ן וְלֹא־ תִהְיֶ֥ה זִמָּ֖ה בְּתוֹכְכֶֽם׃

KJV ¹⁵ And if a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death: and ye shall slay the beast.

VULC ¹⁵ Qui cum jumento et pecore coierit, morte moriatur : pecus quoque occidite.

WLC ¹⁵ וְאִ֗ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִתֵּ֧ן שְׁכָבְתּ֛וֹ בִּבְהֵמָ֖ה מ֣וֹת יוּמָ֑ת וְאֶת־ הַבְּהֵמָ֖ה תַּהֲרֹֽגוּ׃

KJV ¹⁶ And if a woman approach unto any beast, and lie down thereto, thou shalt kill the woman, and the beast: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

NEG ¹⁶ Si une femme s'approche d'une bête, pour se prostituer à elle, tu tueras la femme et la bête; elles seront mises à mort: leur sang retombera sur elles.

VULC ¹⁶ Mulier, quæ succubuerit cuilibet jumento, simul interficietur cum eo : sanguis eorum sit super eos.

WLC ¹⁶ וְאִשָּׁ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר תִּקְרַ֤ב אֶל־ כָּל־ בְּהֵמָה֙ לְרִבְעָ֣ה אֹתָ֔הּ וְהָרַגְתָּ֥ אֶת־ הָאִשָּׁ֖ה וְאֶת־ הַבְּהֵמָ֑ה מ֥וֹת יוּמָ֖תוּ דְּמֵיהֶ֥ם בָּֽם׃

KJV ¹⁷ And if a man shall take his sister, his father's daughter, or his mother's daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; it is a wicked thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people: he hath uncovered his sister's nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.

NEG ¹⁷ Si un homme prend sa sœur, fille de son père ou fille de sa mère, s'il voit sa nudité et qu'elle voie la sienne, c'est une infamie; ils seront retranchés sous les yeux des enfants de leur peuple: il a découvert la nudité de sa sœur, il portera la peine de son péché.

VULC ¹⁷ Qui acceperit sororem suam filiam patris sui, vel filiam matris suæ, et viderit turpitudinem ejus, illaque conspexerit fratris ignominiam, nefariam rem operati sunt : occidentur in conspectu populi sui, eo quod turpitudinem suam mutuo revelaverint, et portabunt iniquitatem suam.

WLC ¹⁷ וְאִ֣ישׁ אֲשֶׁר־ יִקַּ֣ח אֶת־ אֲחֹת֡וֹ בַּת־ אָבִ֣יו א֣וֹ בַת־ אִ֠מּוֹ וְרָאָ֨ה אֶת־ עֶרְוָתָ֜הּ וְהִֽיא־ תִרְאֶ֤ה אֶת־ עֶרְוָתוֹ֙ חֶ֣סֶד ה֔וּא וְנִ֨כְרְת֔וּ לְעֵינֵ֖י בְּנֵ֣י עַמָּ֑ם עֶרְוַ֧ת אֲחֹת֛וֹ גִּלָּ֖ה עֲוֺנ֥וֹ יִשָּֽׂא׃

KJV ¹⁸ And if a man shall lie with a woman having her sickness, and shall uncover her nakedness; he hath discovered her fountain, and she hath uncovered the fountain of her blood: and both of them shall be cut off from among their people.

NEG ¹⁸ Si un homme couche avec une femme qui a son indisposition, et découvre sa nudité, s'il découvre son flux, et qu'elle découvre le flux de son sang, ils seront tous deux retranchés du milieu de leur peuple.

VULC ¹⁸ Qui coierit cum muliere in fluxu menstruo, et revelaverit turpitudinem ejus, ipsaque aperuerit fontem sanguinis sui, interficientur ambo de medio populi sui.

WLC ¹⁸ וְ֠אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר־ יִשְׁכַּ֨ב אֶת־ אִשָּׁ֜ה דָּוָ֗ה וְגִלָּ֤ה אֶת־ עֶרְוָתָהּ֙ אֶת־ מְקֹרָ֣הּ הֶֽעֱרָ֔ה וְהִ֕יא גִּלְּתָ֖ה אֶת־ מְק֣וֹר דָּמֶ֑יהָ וְנִכְרְת֥וּ שְׁנֵיהֶ֖ם מִקֶּ֥רֶב עַמָּֽם׃

KJV ¹⁹ And thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister, nor of thy father's sister: for he uncovereth his near kin: they shall bear their iniquity.

NEG ¹⁹ Tu ne découvriras point la nudité de la sœur de ta mère, ni de la sœur de ton père, car c'est découvrir sa proche parente: ils porteront la peine de leur péché.

VULC ¹⁹ Turpitudinem materteræ et amitæ tuæ non discooperies : qui hoc fecerit, ignominiam carnis suæ nudavit ; portabunt ambo iniquitatem suam.

WLC ¹⁹ וְעֶרְוַ֨ת אֲח֧וֹת אִמְּךָ֛ וַאֲח֥וֹת אָבִ֖יךָ לֹ֣א תְגַלֵּ֑ה כִּ֧י אֶת־ שְׁאֵר֛וֹ הֶעֱרָ֖ה עֲוֺנָ֥ם יִשָּֽׂאוּ׃

KJV ²⁰ And if a man shall lie with his uncle's wife, he hath uncovered his uncle's nakedness: they shall bear their sin; they shall die childless.

NEG ²⁰ Si un homme couche avec sa tante, il a découvert la nudité de son oncle; ils porteront la peine de leur péché, ils mourront sans enfant.

VULC ²⁰ Qui coierit cum uxore patrui vel avunculi sui, et revelaverit ignominiam cognationis suæ, portabunt ambo peccatum suum : absque liberis morientur.

WLC ²⁰ וְאִ֗ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֤ר יִשְׁכַּב֙ אֶת־ דֹּ֣דָת֔וֹ עֶרְוַ֥ת דֹּד֖וֹ גִּלָּ֑ה חֶטְאָ֥ם יִשָּׂ֖אוּ עֲרִירִ֥ים יָמֻֽתוּ׃

KJV ²¹ And if a man shall take his brother's wife, it is an unclean thing: he hath uncovered his brother's nakedness; they shall be childless.

NEG ²¹ Si un homme prend la femme de son frère, c'est une impureté; il a découvert la nudité de son frère, ils seront sans enfant.

VULC ²¹ Qui duxerit uxorem fratris sui, rem facit illicitam : turpitudinem fratris sui revelavit : absque liberis erunt.

WLC ²¹ וְאִ֗ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֥ר יִקַּ֛ח אֶת־ אֵ֥שֶׁת אָחִ֖יו נִדָּ֣ה הִ֑וא עֶרְוַ֥ת אָחִ֛יו גִּלָּ֖ה עֲרִירִ֥ים יִהְיֽוּ׃

KJV ²² Ye shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: that the land, whither I bring you to dwell therein, spue you not out.

NEG ²² Vous observerez toutes mes lois et toutes mes ordonnances, et vous les mettrez en pratique, afin que le pays où je vous mène pour vous y établir ne vous vomisse point.

VULC ²² Custodite leges meas, atque judicia, et facite ea : ne et vos evomat terra quam intraturi estis et habitaturi.

WLC ²² וּשְׁמַרְתֶּ֤ם אֶת־ כָּל־ חֻקֹּתַי֙ וְאֶת־ כָּל־ מִשְׁפָּטַ֔י וַעֲשִׂיתֶ֖ם אֹתָ֑ם וְלֹא־ תָקִ֤יא אֶתְכֶם֙ הָאָ֔רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֨ר אֲנִ֜י מֵבִ֥יא אֶתְכֶ֛ם שָׁ֖מָּה לָשֶׁ֥בֶת בָּֽהּ׃

KJV ²³ And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.

NEG ²³ Vous ne suivrez point les usages des nations que je vais chasser devant vous; car elles ont fait toutes ces choses, et je les ai en abomination.

VULC ²³ Nolite ambulare in legitimis nationum, quas ego expulsurus sum ante vos. Omnia enim hæc fecerunt, et abominatus sum eas.

WLC ²³ וְלֹ֤א תֵֽלְכוּ֙ בְּחֻקֹּ֣ת הַגּ֔וֹי אֲשֶׁר־ אֲנִ֥י מְשַׁלֵּ֖חַ מִפְּנֵיכֶ֑ם כִּ֤י אֶת־ כָּל־ אֵ֙לֶּה֙ עָשׂ֔וּ וָאָקֻ֖ץ בָּֽם׃

KJV ²⁴ But I have said unto you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land that floweth with milk and honey: I am the LORD your God, which have separated you from other people.

NEG ²⁴ Je vous ai dit: C'est vous qui posséderez leur pays; je vous en donnerai la possession: c'est un pays où coulent le lait et le miel. Je suis l'Eternel, votre Dieu, qui vous ai séparés des peuples.

VULC ²⁴ Vobis autem loquor. Possidete terram eorum, quam dabo vobis in hæreditatem, terram fluentem lacte et melle. Ego Dominus Deus vester, qui separavi vos a ceteris populis.

WLC ²⁴ וָאֹמַ֣ר לָכֶ֗ם אַתֶּם֮ תִּֽירְשׁ֣וּ אֶת־ אַדְמָתָם֒ וַאֲנִ֞י אֶתְּנֶ֤נָּה לָכֶם֙ לָרֶ֣שֶׁת אֹתָ֔הּ אֶ֛רֶץ זָבַ֥ת חָלָ֖ב וּדְבָ֑שׁ אֲנִי֙ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֔ם אֲשֶׁר־ הִבְדַּ֥לְתִּי אֶתְכֶ֖ם מִן־ הָֽעַמִּֽים׃

KJV ²⁵ Ye shall therefore put difference between clean beasts and unclean, and between unclean fowls and clean: and ye shall not make your souls abominable by beast, or by fowl, or by any manner of living thing that creepeth on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean.

NEG ²⁵ Vous observerez la distinction entre les animaux purs et impurs, entre les oiseaux purs et impurs, afin de ne pas rendre vos personnes abominables par des animaux, par des oiseaux, par tous les reptiles de la terre, que je vous ai appris à distinguer comme impurs.

VULC ²⁵ Separate ergo et vos jumentum mundum ab immundo, et avem mundam ab immunda : ne polluatis animas vestras in pecore, et avibus, et cunctis quæ moventur in terra, et quæ vobis ostendi esse polluta.

WLC ²⁵ וְהִבְדַּלְתֶּ֞ם בֵּֽין־ הַבְּהֵמָ֤ה הַטְּהֹרָה֙ לַטְּמֵאָ֔ה וּבֵין־ הָע֥וֹף הַטָּמֵ֖א לַטָּהֹ֑ר וְלֹֽא־ תְשַׁקְּצ֨וּ אֶת־ נַפְשֹֽׁתֵיכֶ֜ם בַּבְּהֵמָ֣ה וּבָע֗וֹף וּבְכֹל֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר תִּרְמֹ֣שׂ הָֽאֲדָמָ֔ה אֲשֶׁר־ הִבְדַּ֥לְתִּי לָכֶ֖ם לְטַמֵּֽא׃

KJV ²⁶ And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.

NEG ²⁶ Vous serez saints pour moi, car je suis saint, moi, l'Eternel; je vous ai séparés des peuples, afin que vous soyez à moi.

VULC ²⁶ Eritis mihi sancti, quia sanctus sum ego Dominus, et separavi vos a ceteris populis, ut essetis mei.

WLC ²⁶ וִהְיִ֤יתֶם לִי֙ קְדֹשִׁ֔ים כִּ֥י קָד֖וֹשׁ אֲנִ֣י יְהוָ֑ה וָאַבְדִּ֥ל אֶתְכֶ֛ם מִן־ הָֽעַמִּ֖ים לִהְי֥וֹת לִֽי׃
