NEG ² Parle à Aaron et à ses fils, afin qu'ils s'abstiennent des choses saintes qui me sont consacrées par les enfants d'Israël, et qu'ils ne profanent point mon saint nom. Je suis l'Eternel.

VULC ² Loquere ad Aaron et ad filios ejus, ut caveant ab his quæ consecrata sunt filiorum Israël, et non contaminent nomen sanctificatorum mihi, quæ ipsi offerunt. Ego Dominus.

KJV ³ Say unto them, Whosoever he be of all your seed among your generations, that goeth unto the holy things, which the children of Israel hallow unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, that soul shall be cut off from my presence: I am the LORD.

NEG ³ Dis-leur: Tout homme parmi vos descendants et de votre race, qui s'approchera des choses saintes que consacrent à l'Eternel les enfants d'Israël, et qui aura sur lui quelque impureté, cet homme-là sera retranché de devant moi. Je suis l'Eternel.

VULC ³ Dic ad eos, et ad posteros eorum : Omnis homo qui accesserit de stirpe vestra ad ea quæ consecrata sunt, et quæ obtulerunt filii Israël Domino, in quo est immunditia, peribit coram Domino. Ego sum Dominus.

KJV ⁴ What man soever of the seed of Aaron is a leper, or hath a running issue; he shall not eat of the holy things, until he be clean. And whoso toucheth any thing that is unclean by the dead, or a man whose seed goeth from him;

NEG ⁴ Tout homme de la race d'Aaron, qui aura la lèpre ou une gonorrhée, ne mangera point des choses saintes jusqu'à ce qu'il soit pur. Il en sera de même pour celui qui touchera une personne souillée par le contact d'un cadavre, pour celui qui aura une pollution,

VULC ⁴ Homo de semine Aaron, qui fuerit leprosus, aut patiens fluxum seminis, non vescetur de his quæ sanctificata sunt mihi, donec sanetur. Qui tetigerit immundum super mortuo, et ex quo egreditur semen quasi coitus,

KJV ⁵ Or whosoever toucheth any creeping thing, whereby he may be made unclean, or a man of whom he may take uncleanness, whatsoever uncleanness he hath;

NEG ⁵ pour celui qui touchera un reptile et en aura été souillé, ou un homme atteint d'une impureté quelconque et en aura été souillé.

VULC ⁵ et qui tangit reptile, et quodlibet immundum cujus tactus est sordidus,

KJV ⁶ The soul which hath touched any such shall be unclean until even, and shall not eat of the holy things, unless he wash his flesh with water.

NEG ⁶ Celui qui touchera ces choses sera impur jusqu'au soir; il ne mangera pas des choses saintes, mais il lavera son corps dans l'eau;

VULC ⁶ immundus erit usque ad vesperum, et non vescetur his quæ sanctificata sunt : sed cum laverit carnem suam aqua,

KJV ⁷ And when the sun is down, he shall be clean, and shall afterward eat of the holy things; because it is his food.

NEG ⁷ après le coucher du soleil, il sera pur, et il mangera ensuite des choses saintes, car c'est sa nourriture.

VULC ⁷ et occubuerit sol, tunc mundatus vescetur de sanctificatis, quia cibus illius est.

KJV ⁸ That which dieth of itself, or is torn with beasts, he shall not eat to defile himself therewith; I am the LORD.

NEG ⁸ Il ne mangera point d'une bête morte ou déchirée, afin de ne pas se souiller par elle. Je suis l'Eternel.

VULC ⁸ Morticinum et captum a bestia non comedent, nec polluentur in eis. Ego sum Dominus.

KJV ⁹ They shall therefore keep mine ordinance, lest they bear sin for it, and die therefore, if they profane it: I the LORD do sanctify them.

NEG ⁹ Ils observeront mes commandements, de peur qu'ils ne portent la peine de leur péché et qu'ils ne meurent, pour avoir profané les choses saintes. Je suis l'Eternel, qui les sanctifie.

VULC ⁹ Custodiant præcepta mea, ut non subjaceant peccato, et moriantur in sanctuario, cum polluerint illud. Ego Dominus qui sanctifico eos.

KJV ¹⁰ There shall no stranger eat of the holy thing: a sojourner of the priest, or an hired servant, shall not eat of the holy thing.

NEG ¹⁰ Aucun étranger ne mangera des choses saintes; celui qui demeure chez un sacrificateur et le mercenaire ne mangeront point des choses saintes.

VULC ¹⁰ Omnis alienigena non comedet de sanctificatis ; inquilinus sacerdotis et mercenarius non vescentur ex eis.

KJV ¹¹ But if the priest buy any soul with his money, he shall eat of it, and he that is born in his house: they shall eat of his meat.

KJV ¹² If the priest's daughter also be married unto a stranger, she may not eat of an offering of the holy things.

VULC ¹² Si filia sacerdotis cuilibet ex populo nupta fuerit, de his quæ sanctificata sunt, et de primitiis non vescetur.

KJV ¹³ But if the priest's daughter be a widow, or divorced, and have no child, and is returned unto her father's house, as in her youth, she shall eat of her father's meat: but there shall be no stranger eat thereof.

NEG ¹³ Mais la fille d'un sacrificateur qui sera veuve ou répudiée, sans avoir d'enfant, et qui retournera dans la maison de son père comme dans sa jeunesse, pourra manger de la nourriture de son père. Aucun étranger n'en mangera.

VULC ¹³ Sin autem vidua, vel repudiata, et absque liberis reversa fuerit ad domum patris sui : sicut puella consueverat, aletur cibis patris sui. Omnis alienigena comedendi ex eis non habet potestatem.

KJV ¹⁴ And if a man eat of the holy thing unwittingly, then he shall put the fifth part thereof unto it, and shall give it unto the priest with the holy thing.

KJV ¹⁶ Or suffer them to bear the iniquity of trespass, when they eat their holy things: for I the LORD do sanctify them.

KJV ¹⁹ Ye shall offer at your own will a male without blemish, of the beeves, of the sheep, or of the goats.

KJV ²⁰ But whatsoever hath a blemish, that shall ye not offer: for it shall not be acceptable for you.

KJV ²¹ And whosoever offereth a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD to accomplish his vow, or a freewill offering in beeves or sheep, it shall be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no blemish therein.

VULC ²¹ Homo qui obtulerit victimam pacificorum Domino, vel vota solvens, vel sponte offerens, tam de bobus quam de ovibus, immaculatum offeret ut acceptabile sit : omnis macula non erit in eo.

KJV ²² Blind, or broken, or maimed, or having a wen, or scurvy, or scabbed, ye shall not offer these unto the LORD, nor make an offering by fire of them upon the altar unto the LORD.

NEG ²² Vous n'en offrirez point qui soit aveugle, estropiée, ou mutilée, qui ait des ulcères, la gale ou une dartre; vous n'en ferez point sur l'autel un sacrifice consumé par le feu devant l'Eternel.

VULC ²² Si cæcum fuerit, si fractum, si cicatricem habens, si papulas, aut scabiem, aut impetiginem : non offeretis ea Domino, nec adolebitis ex eis super altare Domini.

KJV ²³ Either a bullock or a lamb that hath any thing superfluous or lacking in his parts, that mayest thou offer for a freewill offering; but for a vow it shall not be accepted.

NEG ²³ Tu pourras sacrifier comme offrande volontaire un bœuf ou un agneau ayant un membre trop long ou trop court, mais il ne sera point agréé pour l'accomplissement d'un vœu.

VULC ²³ Bovem et ovem, aure et cauda amputatis, voluntarie offerre potes, votum autem ex eis solvi non potest.

KJV ²⁴ Ye shall not offer unto the LORD that which is bruised, or crushed, or broken, or cut; neither shall ye make any offering thereof in your land.

NEG ²⁴ Vous n'offrirez point à l'Eternel un animal dont les testicules ont été froissés, écrasés, arrachés, ou coupés; vous ne l'offrirez point en sacrifice dans votre pays.

VULC ²⁴ Omne animal, quod vel contritis, vel tusis, vel sectis ablatisque testiculis est, non offeretis Domino, et in terra vestra hoc omnino ne faciatis.

KJV ²⁵ Neither from a stranger's hand shall ye offer the bread of your God of any of these; because their corruption is in them, and blemishes be in them: they shall not be accepted for you.

NEG ²⁵ Vous n'accepterez de l'étranger aucune de ces victimes, pour l'offrir comme aliment de votre Dieu; car elles sont mutilées, elles ont des défauts: elles ne seraient point agréées.

KJV ²⁶ And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

KJV ²⁷ When a bullock, or a sheep, or a goat, is brought forth, then it shall be seven days under the dam; and from the eighth day and thenceforth it shall be accepted for an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

NEG ²⁷ Un veau, un agneau ou un chevreau, quand il naîtra, restera sept jours avec sa mère; dès le huitième jour et les suivants, il sera agréé pour être offert à l'Eternel en sacrifice consumé par le feu.

VULC ²⁷ Bos, ovis et capra, cum genita fuerint, septem diebus erunt sub ubere matris suæ : die autem octavo, et deinceps, offerri poterunt Domino.

KJV ²⁸ And whether it be cow, or ewe, ye shall not kill it and her young both in one day.

KJV ²⁹ And when ye will offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving unto the LORD, offer it at your own will.

KJV ³⁰ On the same day it shall be eaten up; ye shall leave none of it until the morrow: I am the LORD.

NEG ³⁰ La victime sera mangée le jour même; vous n'en laisserez rien jusqu'au matin. Je suis l'Eternel.

KJV ³¹ Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the LORD.
