KJV ¹ And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

KJV ² Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When a man shall make a singular vow, the persons shall be for the LORD by thy estimation.

VULC ² Loquere filiis Israël, et dices ad eos : Homo qui votum fecerit, et spoponderit Deo animam suam, sub æstimatione dabit pretium.

WLC ² דַּבֵּ֞ר אֶל־ בְּנֵ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ אֲלֵהֶ֔ם אִ֕ישׁ כִּ֥י יַפְלִ֖א נֶ֑דֶר בְּעֶרְכְּךָ֥ נְפָשֹׁ֖ת לַֽיהוָֽה׃

KJV ³ And thy estimation shall be of the male from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary.

VULC ³ Si fuerit masculus a vigesimo anno usque ad sexagesimum annum, dabit quinquaginta siclos argenti ad mensuram sanctuarii :

WLC ³ וְהָיָ֤ה עֶרְכְּךָ֙ הַזָּכָ֔ר מִבֶּן֙ עֶשְׂרִ֣ים שָׁנָ֔ה וְעַ֖ד בֶּן־ שִׁשִּׁ֣ים שָׁנָ֑ה וְהָיָ֣ה עֶרְכְּךָ֗ חֲמִשִּׁ֛ים שֶׁ֥קֶל כֶּ֖סֶף בְּשֶׁ֥קֶל הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃

KJV ⁴ And if it be a female, then thy estimation shall be thirty shekels.

VULC ⁴ si mulier, triginta.

WLC ⁴ וְאִם־ נְקֵבָ֖ה הִ֑וא וְהָיָ֥ה עֶרְכְּךָ֖ שְׁלֹשִׁ֥ים שָֽׁקֶל׃

KJV ⁵ And if it be from five years old even unto twenty years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels.

VULC ⁵ A quinto autem anno usque ad vigesimum, masculus dabit viginti siclos : femina, decem.

WLC ⁵ וְאִ֨ם מִבֶּן־ חָמֵ֜שׁ שָׁנִ֗ים וְעַד֙ בֶּן־ עֶשְׂרִ֣ים שָׁנָ֔ה וְהָיָ֧ה עֶרְכְּךָ֛ הַזָּכָ֖ר עֶשְׂרִ֣ים שְׁקָלִ֑ים וְלַנְּקֵבָ֖ה עֲשֶׂ֥רֶת שְׁקָלִֽים׃

KJV ⁶ And if it be from a month old even unto five years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male five shekels of silver, and for the female thy estimation shall be three shekels of silver.

VULC ⁶ Ab uno mense usque ad annum quintum, pro masculo dabuntur quinque sicli : pro femina, tres.

WLC ⁶ וְאִ֣ם מִבֶּן־ חֹ֗דֶשׁ וְעַד֙ בֶּן־ חָמֵ֣שׁ שָׁנִ֔ים וְהָיָ֤ה עֶרְכְּךָ֙ הַזָּכָ֔ר חֲמִשָּׁ֥ה שְׁקָלִ֖ים כָּ֑סֶף וְלַנְּקֵבָ֣ה עֶרְכְּךָ֔ שְׁלֹ֥שֶׁת שְׁקָלִ֖ים כָּֽסֶף׃

KJV ⁷ And if it be from sixty years old and above; if it be a male, then thy estimation shall be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels.

VULC ⁷ Sexagenarius et ultra masculus dabit quindecim siclos : femina, decem.

WLC ⁷ וְ֠אִם מִבֶּן־ שִׁשִּׁ֨ים שָׁנָ֤ה וָמַ֙עְלָה֙ אִם־ זָכָ֔ר וְהָיָ֣ה עֶרְכְּךָ֔ חֲמִשָּׁ֥ה עָשָׂ֖ר שָׁ֑קֶל וְלַנְּקֵבָ֖ה עֲשָׂרָ֥ה שְׁקָלִֽים׃

KJV ⁸ But if he be poorer than thy estimation, then he shall present himself before the priest, and the priest shall value him; according to his ability that vowed shall the priest value him.

VULC ⁸ Si pauper fuerit, et æstimationem reddere non valebit, stabit coram sacerdote : et quantum ille æstimaverit, et viderit eum posse reddere, tantum dabit.

WLC ⁸ וְאִם־ מָ֥ךְ הוּא֙ מֵֽעֶרְכֶּ֔ךָ וְהֶֽעֱמִידוֹ֙ לִפְנֵ֣י הַכֹּהֵ֔ן וְהֶעֱרִ֥יךְ אֹת֖וֹ הַכֹּהֵ֑ן עַל־ פִּ֗י אֲשֶׁ֤ר תַּשִּׂיג֙ יַ֣ד הַנֹּדֵ֔ר יַעֲרִיכֶ֖נּוּ הַכֹּהֵֽן׃

KJV ⁹ And if it be a beast, whereof men bring an offering unto the LORD, all that any man giveth of such unto the LORD shall be holy.

VULC ⁹ Animal autem, quod immolari potest Domino, si quis voverit, sanctum erit,

WLC ⁹ וְאִם־ בְּהֵמָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר יַקְרִ֧יבוּ מִמֶּ֛נָּה קָרְבָּ֖ן לַֽיהוָ֑ה כֹּל֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִתֵּ֥ן מִמֶּ֛נּוּ לַיהוָ֖ה יִֽהְיֶה־ קֹּֽדֶשׁ׃

KJV ¹⁰ He shall not alter it, nor change it, a good for a bad, or a bad for a good: and if he shall at all change beast for beast, then it and the exchange thereof shall be holy.

VULC ¹⁰ et mutari non poterit, id est, nec melius malo, nec pejus bono : quod si mutaverit, et ipsum quod mutatum est, et illud pro quo mutatum est, consecratum erit Domino.

WLC ¹⁰ לֹ֣א יַחֲלִיפֶ֗נּוּ וְלֹֽא־ יָמִ֥יר אֹת֛וֹ ט֥וֹב בְּרָ֖ע אוֹ־ רַ֣ע בְּט֑וֹב וְאִם־ הָמֵ֨ר יָמִ֤יר בְּהֵמָה֙ בִּבְהֵמָ֔ה וְהָֽיָה־ ה֥וּא וּתְמוּרָת֖וֹ יִֽהְיֶה־ קֹּֽדֶשׁ׃

KJV ¹¹ And if it be any unclean beast, of which they do not offer a sacrifice unto the LORD, then he shall present the beast before the priest:

VULC ¹¹ Animal immundum, quod immolari Domino non potest, si quis voverit, adducetur ante sacerdotem :

WLC ¹¹ וְאִם֙ כָּל־ בְּהֵמָ֣ה טְמֵאָ֔ה אֲ֠שֶׁר לֹא־ יַקְרִ֧יבוּ מִמֶּ֛נָּה קָרְבָּ֖ן לַֽיהוָ֑ה וְהֶֽעֱמִ֥יד אֶת־ הַבְּהֵמָ֖ה לִפְנֵ֥י הַכֹּהֵֽן׃

KJV ¹² And the priest shall value it, whether it be good or bad: as thou valuest it, who art the priest, so shall it be.

VULC ¹² qui judicans utrum bonum an malum sit, statuet pretium.

WLC ¹² וְהֶעֱרִ֤יךְ הַכֹּהֵן֙ אֹתָ֔הּ בֵּ֥ין ט֖וֹב וּבֵ֣ין רָ֑ע כְּעֶרְכְּךָ֥ הַכֹּהֵ֖ן כֵּ֥ן יִהְיֶֽה׃

KJV ¹³ But if he will at all redeem it, then he shall add a fifth part thereof unto thy estimation.

VULC ¹³ Quod si dare voluerit is qui offert, addet supra æstimationem quintam partem.

WLC ¹³ וְאִם־ גָּאֹ֖ל יִגְאָלֶ֑נָּה וְיָסַ֥ף חֲמִישִׁת֖וֹ עַל־ עֶרְכֶּֽךָ׃

KJV ¹⁴ And when a man shall sanctify his house to be holy unto the LORD, then the priest shall estimate it, whether it be good or bad: as the priest shall estimate it, so shall it stand.

VULC ¹⁴ Homo si voverit domum suam, et sanctificaverit Domino, considerabit eam sacerdos utrum bona an mala sit, et juxta pretium, quod ab eo fuerit constitutum, venundabitur :

WLC ¹⁴ וְאִ֗ישׁ כִּֽי־ יַקְדִּ֨שׁ אֶת־ בֵּית֥וֹ קֹ֙דֶשׁ֙ לַֽיהוָ֔ה וְהֶעֱרִיכוֹ֙ הַכֹּהֵ֔ן בֵּ֥ין ט֖וֹב וּבֵ֣ין רָ֑ע כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר יַעֲרִ֥יךְ אֹת֛וֹ הַכֹּהֵ֖ן כֵּ֥ן יָקֽוּם׃

KJV ¹⁵ And if he that sanctified it will redeem his house, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be his.

VULC ¹⁵ sin autem ille qui voverat, voluerit redimere eam, dabit quintam partem æstimationis supra, et habebit domum.

WLC ¹⁵ וְאִ֨ם־ הַמַּקְדִּ֔ישׁ יִגְאַ֖ל אֶת־ בֵּית֑וֹ וְ֠יָסַף חֲמִישִׁ֧ית כֶּֽסֶף־ עֶרְכְּךָ֛ עָלָ֖יו וְהָ֥יָה לֽוֹ׃

KJV ¹⁶ And if a man shall sanctify unto the LORD some part of a field of his possession, then thy estimation shall be according to the seed thereof: an homer of barley seed shall be valued at fifty shekels of silver.

VULC ¹⁶ Quod si agrum possessionis suæ voverit, et consecraverit Domino, juxta mensuram sementis æstimabitur pretium : si triginta modiis hordei seritur terra, quinquaginta siclis venundetur argenti.

WLC ¹⁶ וְאִ֣ם ׀ מִשְּׂדֵ֣ה אֲחֻזָּת֗וֹ יַקְדִּ֥ישׁ אִישׁ֙ לַֽיהוָ֔ה וְהָיָ֥ה עֶרְכְּךָ֖ לְפִ֣י זַרְע֑וֹ זֶ֚רַע חֹ֣מֶר שְׂעֹרִ֔ים בַּחֲמִשִּׁ֖ים שֶׁ֥קֶל כָּֽסֶף׃

KJV ¹⁷ If he sanctify his field from the year of jubile, according to thy estimation it shall stand.

VULC ¹⁷ Si statim ab anno incipientis jubilæi voverit agrum, quanto valere potest, tanto æstimabitur.

WLC ¹⁷ אִם־ מִשְּׁנַ֥ת הַיֹּבֵ֖ל יַקְדִּ֣ישׁ שָׂדֵ֑הוּ כְּעֶרְכְּךָ֖ יָקֽוּם׃

KJV ¹⁸ But if he sanctify his field after the jubile, then the priest shall reckon unto him the money according to the years that remain, even unto the year of the jubile, and it shall be abated from thy estimation.

VULC ¹⁸ Sin autem post aliquantum temporis, supputabit sacerdos pecuniam juxta annorum, qui reliqui sunt, numerum usque ad jubilæum, et detrahetur ex pretio.

WLC ¹⁸ וְאִם־ אַחַ֣ר הַיֹּבֵל֮ יַקְדִּ֣ישׁ שָׂדֵהוּ֒ וְחִשַּׁב־ ל֨וֹ הַכֹּהֵ֜ן אֶת־ הַכֶּ֗סֶף עַל־ פִּ֤י הַשָּׁנִים֙ הַנּ֣וֹתָרֹ֔ת עַ֖ד שְׁנַ֣ת הַיֹּבֵ֑ל וְנִגְרַ֖ע מֵֽעֶרְכֶּֽךָ׃

KJV ¹⁹ And if he that sanctified the field will in any wise redeem it, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be assured to him.

VULC ¹⁹ Quod si voluerit redimere agrum ille qui voverat, addet quintam partem æstimatæ pecuniæ, et possidebit eum.

WLC ¹⁹ וְאִם־ גָּאֹ֤ל יִגְאַל֙ אֶת־ הַשָּׂדֶ֔ה הַמַּקְדִּ֖ישׁ אֹת֑וֹ וְ֠יָסַף חֲמִשִׁ֧ית כֶּֽסֶף־ עֶרְכְּךָ֛ עָלָ֖יו וְקָ֥ם לֽוֹ׃

KJV ²⁰ And if he will not redeem the field, or if he have sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more.

VULC ²⁰ Sin autem noluerit redimere, sed alteri cuilibet fuerit venundatus, ultra eum qui voverat redimere non poterit.

WLC ²⁰ וְאִם־ לֹ֤א יִגְאַל֙ אֶת־ הַשָּׂדֶ֔ה וְאִם־ מָכַ֥ר אֶת־ הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה לְאִ֣ישׁ אַחֵ֑ר לֹ֥א יִגָּאֵ֖ל עֽוֹד׃

KJV ²¹ But the field, when it goeth out in the jubile, shall be holy unto the LORD, as a field devoted; the possession thereof shall be the priest's.

VULC ²¹ Quia cum jubilæi venerit dies, sanctificatus erit Domino, et possessio consecrata ad jus pertinet sacerdotum.

WLC ²¹ וְהָיָ֨ה הַשָּׂדֶ֜ה בְּצֵאת֣וֹ בַיֹּבֵ֗ל קֹ֛דֶשׁ לַֽיהוָ֖ה כִּשְׂדֵ֣ה הַחֵ֑רֶם לַכֹּהֵ֖ן תִּהְיֶ֥ה אֲחֻזָּתֽוֹ׃

KJV ²² And if a man sanctify unto the LORD a field which he hath bought, which is not of the fields of his possession;

VULC ²² Si ager emptus est, et non de possessione majorum sanctificatus fuerit Domino,

WLC ²² וְאִם֙ אֶת־ שְׂדֵ֣ה מִקְנָת֔וֹ אֲשֶׁ֕ר לֹ֖א מִשְּׂדֵ֣ה אֲחֻזָּת֑וֹ יַקְדִּ֖ישׁ לַֽיהוָֽה׃

KJV ²³ Then the priest shall reckon unto him the worth of thy estimation, even unto the year of the jubile: and he shall give thine estimation in that day, as a holy thing unto the LORD.

VULC ²³ supputabit sacerdos juxta annorum numerum usque ad jubilæum, pretium : et dabit ille qui voverat eum, Domino.

WLC ²³ וְחִשַּׁב־ ל֣וֹ הַכֹּהֵ֗ן אֵ֚ת מִכְסַ֣ת הָֽעֶרְכְּךָ֔ עַ֖ד שְׁנַ֣ת הַיֹּבֵ֑ל וְנָתַ֤ן אֶת־ הָעֶרְכְּךָ֙ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֔וּא קֹ֖דֶשׁ לַיהוָֽה׃

KJV ²⁴ In the year of the jubile the field shall return unto him of whom it was bought, even to him to whom the possession of the land did belong.

VULC ²⁴ In jubilæo autem revertetur ad priorem dominum, qui vendiderat eum, et habuerat in sorte possessionis suæ.

WLC ²⁴ בִּשְׁנַ֤ת הַיּוֹבֵל֙ יָשׁ֣וּב הַשָּׂדֶ֔ה לַאֲשֶׁ֥ר קָנָ֖הוּ מֵאִתּ֑וֹ לַאֲשֶׁר־ ל֖וֹ אֲחֻזַּ֥ת הָאָֽרֶץ׃

KJV ²⁵ And all thy estimations shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary: twenty gerahs shall be the shekel.

VULC ²⁵ Omnis æstimatio siclo sanctuarii ponderabitur. Siclus viginti obolos habet.

WLC ²⁵ וְכָל־ עֶרְכְּךָ֔ יִהְיֶ֖ה בְּשֶׁ֣קֶל הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ עֶשְׂרִ֥ים גֵּרָ֖ה יִהְיֶ֥ה הַשָּֽׁקֶל׃

KJV ²⁶ Only the firstling of the beasts, which should be the LORD's firstling, no man shall sanctify it; whether it be ox, or sheep: it is the LORD's.

VULC ²⁶ Primogenita, quæ ad Dominum pertinent, nemo sanctificare poterit et vovere : sive bos, sive ovis fuerit, Domini sunt.

WLC ²⁶ אַךְ־ בְּכ֞וֹר אֲשֶׁר־ יְבֻכַּ֤ר לַֽיהוָה֙ בִּבְהֵמָ֔ה לֹֽא־ יַקְדִּ֥ישׁ אִ֖ישׁ אֹת֑וֹ אִם־ שׁ֣וֹר אִם־ שֶׂ֔ה לַֽיהוָ֖ה הֽוּא׃

WLC ²⁷ וְאִ֨ם בַּבְּהֵמָ֤ה הַטְּמֵאָה֙ וּפָדָ֣ה בְעֶרְכֶּ֔ךָ וְיָסַ֥ף חֲמִשִׁת֖וֹ עָלָ֑יו וְאִם־ לֹ֥א יִגָּאֵ֖ל וְנִמְכַּ֥ר בְּעֶרְכֶּֽךָ׃

KJV ²⁸ Notwithstanding no devoted thing, that a man shall devote unto the LORD of all that he hath, both of man and beast, and of the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed: every devoted thing is most holy unto the LORD.

VULC ²⁸ Omne quod Domino consecratur, sive homo fuerit, sive animal, sive ager, non vendetur, nec redimi poterit. Quidquid semel fuerit consecratum, Sanctum sanctorum erit Domino :

WLC ²⁸ אַךְ־ כָּל־ חֵ֡רֶם אֲשֶׁ֣ר יַחֲרִם֩ אִ֨ישׁ לַֽיהוָ֜ה מִכָּל־ אֲשֶׁר־ ל֗וֹ מֵאָדָ֤ם וּבְהֵמָה֙ וּמִשְּׂדֵ֣ה אֲחֻזָּת֔וֹ לֹ֥א יִמָּכֵ֖ר וְלֹ֣א יִגָּאֵ֑ל כָּל־ חֵ֕רֶם קֹֽדֶשׁ־ קָֽדָשִׁ֥ים ה֖וּא לַיהוָֽה׃

KJV ²⁹ None devoted, which shall be devoted of men, shall be redeemed; but shall surely be put to death.

VULC ²⁹ et omnis consecratio, quæ offertur ab homine, non redimetur, sed morte morietur.

WLC ²⁹ כָּל־ חֵ֗רֶם אֲשֶׁ֧ר יָחֳרַ֛ם מִן־ הָאָדָ֖ם לֹ֣א יִפָּדֶ֑ה מ֖וֹת יוּמָֽת׃

KJV ³⁰ And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD's: it is holy unto the LORD.

VULC ³⁰ Omnes decimæ terræ, sive de frugibus, sive de pomis arborum, Domini sunt, et illi sanctificantur.

WLC ³⁰ וְכָל־ מַעְשַׂ֨ר הָאָ֜רֶץ מִזֶּ֤רַע הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ מִפְּרִ֣י הָעֵ֔ץ לַיהוָ֖ה ה֑וּא קֹ֖דֶשׁ לַֽיהוָֽה׃

KJV ³¹ And if a man will at all redeem ought of his tithes, he shall add thereto the fifth part thereof.

VULC ³¹ Si quis autem voluerit redimere decimas suas, addet quintam partem earum.

WLC ³¹ וְאִם־ גָּאֹ֥ל יִגְאַ֛ל אִ֖ישׁ מִמַּֽעַשְׂר֑וֹ חֲמִשִׁית֖וֹ יֹסֵ֥ף עָלָֽיו׃

KJV ³² And concerning the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, even of whatsoever passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto the LORD.

VULC ³² Omnium decimarum bovis et ovis et capræ, quæ sub pastoris virga transeunt, quidquid decimum venerit, sanctificabitur Domino.

WLC ³² וְכָל־ מַעְשַׂ֤ר בָּקָר֙ וָצֹ֔אן כֹּ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־ יַעֲבֹ֖ר תַּ֣חַת הַשָּׁ֑בֶט הָֽעֲשִׂירִ֕י יִֽהְיֶה־ קֹּ֖דֶשׁ לַֽיהוָֽה׃

KJV ³³ He shall not search whether it be good or bad, neither shall he change it: and if he change it at all, then both it and the change thereof shall be holy; it shall not be redeemed.

VULC ³³ Non eligetur nec bonum nec malum, nec altero commutabitur, si quis mutaverit : et quod mutatum est, et pro quo mutatum est, sanctificabitur Domino, et non redimetur.

WLC ³³ לֹ֧א יְבַקֵּ֛ר בֵּֽין־ ט֥וֹב לָרַ֖ע וְלֹ֣א יְמִירֶ֑נּוּ וְאִם־ הָמֵ֣ר יְמִירֶ֔נּוּ וְהָֽיָה־ ה֧וּא וּתְמוּרָת֛וֹ יִֽהְיֶה־ קֹ֖דֶשׁ לֹ֥א יִגָּאֵֽל׃

KJV ³⁴ These are the commandments, which the LORD commanded Moses for the children of Israel in mount Sinai.

VULC ³⁴ Hæc sunt præcepta, quæ mandavit Dominus Moysi ad filios Israël in monte Sinai.

WLC ³⁴ אֵ֣לֶּה הַמִּצְוֺ֗ת אֲשֶׁ֨ר צִוָּ֧ה יְהוָ֛ה אֶת־ מֹשֶׁ֖ה אֶל־ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל בְּהַ֖ר סִינָֽי׃
