KJV ¹ And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

VULC ¹ Locutus est Dominus ad Moysen, dicens :

WLC ¹ וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־ מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃

KJV ² If a soul sin, and commit a trespass against the LORD, and lie unto his neighbour in that which was delivered him to keep, or in fellowship, or in a thing taken away by violence, or hath deceived his neighbour;

VULC ² Anima quæ peccaverit, et contempto Domino, negaverit proximo suo depositum quod fidei ejus creditum fuerat, vel vi aliquid extorserit, aut calumniam fecerit,

WLC ² צַ֤ו אֶֽת־ אַהֲרֹן֙ וְאֶת־ בָּנָ֣יו לֵאמֹ֔ר זֹ֥את תּוֹרַ֖ת הָעֹלָ֑ה הִ֣וא הָעֹלָ֡ה עַל֩ מוֹקְדָ֨ה עַל־ הַמִּזְבֵּ֤חַ כָּל־ הַלַּ֙יְלָה֙ עַד־ הַבֹּ֔קֶר וְאֵ֥שׁ הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ תּ֥וּקַד בּֽוֹ׃

KJV ³ Or have found that which was lost, and lieth concerning it, and sweareth falsely; in any of all these that a man doeth, sinning therein:

VULC ³ sive rem perditam invenerit, et inficians insuper pejeraverit, et quodlibet aliud ex pluribus fecerit, in quibus solent peccare homines,

WLC ³ וְלָבַ֨שׁ הַכֹּהֵ֜ן מִדּ֣וֹ בַ֗ד וּמִֽכְנְסֵי־ בַד֮ יִלְבַּ֣שׁ עַל־ בְּשָׂרוֹ֒ וְהֵרִ֣ים אֶת־ הַדֶּ֗שֶׁן אֲשֶׁ֨ר תֹּאכַ֥ל הָאֵ֛שׁ אֶת־ הָעֹלָ֖ה עַל־ הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ וְשָׂמ֕וֹ אֵ֖צֶל הַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃

KJV ⁴ Then it shall be, because he hath sinned, and is guilty, that he shall restore that which he took violently away, or the thing which he hath deceitfully gotten, or that which was delivered him to keep, or the lost thing which he found,

VULC ⁴ convicta delicti,

WLC ⁴ וּפָשַׁט֙ אֶת־ בְּגָדָ֔יו וְלָבַ֖שׁ בְּגָדִ֣ים אֲחֵרִ֑ים וְהוֹצִ֤יא אֶת־ הַדֶּ֙שֶׁן֙ אֶל־ מִח֣וּץ לַֽמַּחֲנֶ֔ה אֶל־ מָק֖וֹם טָהֽוֹר׃

KJV ⁵ Or all that about which he hath sworn falsely; he shall even restore it in the principal, and shall add the fifth part more thereto, and give it unto him to whom it appertaineth, in the day of his trespass offering.

VULC ⁵ reddet omnia, quæ per fraudem voluit obtinere, integra, et quintam insuper partem domino cui damnum intulerat.

WLC ⁵ וְהָאֵ֨שׁ עַל־ הַמִּזְבֵּ֤חַ תּֽוּקַד־ בּוֹ֙ לֹ֣א תִכְבֶּ֔ה וּבִעֵ֨ר עָלֶ֧יהָ הַכֹּהֵ֛ן עֵצִ֖ים בַּבֹּ֣קֶר בַּבֹּ֑קֶר וְעָרַ֤ךְ עָלֶ֙יהָ֙ הָֽעֹלָ֔ה וְהִקְטִ֥יר עָלֶ֖יהָ חֶלְבֵ֥י הַשְּׁלָמִֽים׃

KJV ⁶ And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD, a ram without blemish out of the flock, with thy estimation, for a trespass offering, unto the priest:

VULC ⁶ Pro peccato autem suo offeret arietem immaculatum de grege, et dabit eum sacerdoti, juxta æstimationem mensuramque delicti :

WLC ⁶ אֵ֗שׁ תָּמִ֛יד תּוּקַ֥ד עַל־ הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ לֹ֥א תִכְבֶֽה׃

KJV ⁷ And the priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD: and it shall be forgiven him for any thing of all that he hath done in trespassing therein.

VULC ⁷ qui rogabit pro eo coram Domino, et dimittetur illi pro singulis quæ faciendo peccavit.

WLC ⁷ וְזֹ֥את תּוֹרַ֖ת הַמִּנְחָ֑ה הַקְרֵ֨ב אֹתָ֤הּ בְּנֵֽי־ אַהֲרֹן֙ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה אֶל־ פְּנֵ֖י הַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃

KJV ⁸ And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

WLC ⁸ וְהֵרִ֨ים מִמֶּ֜נּוּ בְּקֻמְצ֗וֹ מִסֹּ֤לֶת הַמִּנְחָה֙ וּמִשַּׁמְנָ֔הּ וְאֵת֙ כָּל־ הַלְּבֹנָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־ הַמִּנְחָ֑ה וְהִקְטִ֣יר הַמִּזְבֵּ֗חַ רֵ֧יחַ נִיחֹ֛חַ אַזְכָּרָתָ֖הּ לַיהוָֽה׃

KJV ⁹ Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt offering: It is the burnt offering, because of the burning upon the altar all night unto the morning, and the fire of the altar shall be burning in it.

VULC ⁹ Præcipe Aaron et filiis ejus : Hæc est lex holocausti : cremabitur in altari tota nocte usque mane : ignis ex eodem altari erit.

WLC ⁹ וְהַנּוֹתֶ֣רֶת מִמֶּ֔נָּה יֹאכְל֖וּ אַהֲרֹ֣ן וּבָנָ֑יו מַצּ֤וֹת תֵּֽאָכֵל֙ בְּמָק֣וֹם קָדֹ֔שׁ בַּחֲצַ֥ר אֹֽהֶל־ מוֹעֵ֖ד יֹאכְלֽוּהָ׃

KJV ¹⁰ And the priest shall put on his linen garment, and his linen breeches shall he put upon his flesh, and take up the ashes which the fire hath consumed with the burnt offering on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.

VULC ¹⁰ Vestietur tunica sacerdos et feminalibus lineis : tolletque cineres, quos vorans ignis exussit, et ponens juxta altare,

WLC ¹⁰ לֹ֤א תֵאָפֶה֙ חָמֵ֔ץ חֶלְקָ֛ם נָתַ֥תִּי אֹתָ֖הּ מֵאִשָּׁ֑י קֹ֤דֶשׁ קָֽדָשִׁים֙ הִ֔וא כַּחַטָּ֖את וְכָאָשָֽׁם׃

KJV ¹¹ And he shall put off his garments, and put on other garments, and carry forth the ashes without the camp unto a clean place.

VULC ¹¹ spoliabitur prioribus vestimentis, indutusque aliis, efferret eos extra castra, et in loco mundissimo usque ad favillam consumi faciet.

WLC ¹¹ כָּל־ זָכָ֞ר בִּבְנֵ֤י אַהֲרֹן֙ יֹֽאכֲלֶ֔נָּה חָק־ עוֹלָם֙ לְדֹרֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם מֵאִשֵּׁ֖י יְהוָ֑ה כֹּ֛ל אֲשֶׁר־ יִגַּ֥ע בָּהֶ֖ם יִקְדָּֽשׁ׃

KJV ¹² And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings.

VULC ¹² Ignis autem in altari semper ardebit, quem nutriet sacerdos subjiciens ligna mane per singulos dies, et imposito holocausto, desuper adolebit adipes pacificorum.

WLC ¹² וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־ מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃

KJV ¹³ The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.

VULC ¹³ Ignis est iste perpetuus, qui numquam deficiet in altari.

WLC ¹³ זֶ֡ה קָרְבַּן֩ אַהֲרֹ֨ן וּבָנָ֜יו אֲשֶׁר־ יַקְרִ֣יבוּ לַֽיהוָ֗ה בְּיוֹם֙ הִמָּשַׁ֣ח אֹת֔וֹ עֲשִׂירִ֨ת הָאֵפָ֥ה סֹ֛לֶת מִנְחָ֖ה תָּמִ֑יד מַחֲצִיתָ֣הּ בַּבֹּ֔קֶר וּמַחֲצִיתָ֖הּ בָּעָֽרֶב׃

KJV ¹⁴ And this is the law of the meat offering: the sons of Aaron shall offer it before the LORD, before the altar.

VULC ¹⁴ Hæc est lex sacrificii et libamentorum, quæ offerent filii Aaron coram Domino, et coram altari.

WLC ¹⁴ עַֽל־ מַחֲבַ֗ת בַּשֶּׁ֛מֶן תֵּעָשֶׂ֖ה מֻרְבֶּ֣כֶת תְּבִיאֶ֑נָּה תֻּפִינֵי֙ מִנְחַ֣ת פִּתִּ֔ים תַּקְרִ֥יב רֵֽיחַ־ נִיחֹ֖חַ לַיהוָֽה׃

KJV ¹⁵ And he shall take of it his handful, of the flour of the meat offering, and of the oil thereof, and all the frankincense which is upon the meat offering, and shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet savour, even the memorial of it, unto the LORD.

VULC ¹⁵ Tollet sacerdos pugillum similæ, quæ conspersa est oleo, et totum thus, quod super similam positum est : adolebitque illud in altari in monimentum odoris suavissimi Domino :

WLC ¹⁵ וְהַכֹּהֵ֨ן הַמָּשִׁ֧יחַ תַּחְתָּ֛יו מִבָּנָ֖יו יַעֲשֶׂ֣ה אֹתָ֑הּ חָק־ עוֹלָ֕ם לַיהוָ֖ה כָּלִ֥יל תָּקְטָֽר׃

KJV ¹⁶ And the remainder thereof shall Aaron and his sons eat: with unleavened bread shall it be eaten in the holy place; in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation they shall eat it.

VULC ¹⁶ reliquam autem partem similæ comedet Aaron cum filiis suis, absque fermento : et comedet in loco sancto atrii tabernaculi.

WLC ¹⁶ וְכָל־ מִנְחַ֥ת כֹּהֵ֛ן כָּלִ֥יל תִּהְיֶ֖ה לֹ֥א תֵאָכֵֽל׃

KJV ¹⁷ It shall not be baken with leaven. I have given it unto them for their portion of my offerings made by fire; it is most holy, as is the sin offering, and as the trespass offering.

VULC ¹⁷ Ideo autem non fermentabitur, quia pars ejus in Domini offertur incensum. Sanctum sanctorum erit, sicut pro peccato atque delicto.

WLC ¹⁷ וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־ מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃

KJV ¹⁸ All the males among the children of Aaron shall eat of it. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations concerning the offerings of the LORD made by fire: every one that toucheth them shall be holy.

VULC ¹⁸ Mares tantum stirpis Aaron comedent illud. Legitimum ac sempiternum erit in generationibus vestris de sacrificiis Domini : omnis qui tetigerit illa, sanctificabitur.

WLC ¹⁸ דַּבֵּ֤ר אֶֽל־ אַהֲרֹן֙ וְאֶל־ בָּנָ֣יו לֵאמֹ֔ר זֹ֥את תּוֹרַ֖ת הַֽחַטָּ֑את בִּמְק֡וֹם אֲשֶׁר֩ תִּשָּׁחֵ֨ט הָעֹלָ֜ה תִּשָּׁחֵ֤ט הַֽחַטָּאת֙ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה קֹ֥דֶשׁ קָֽדָשִׁ֖ים הִֽוא׃

WLC ¹⁹ הַכֹּהֵ֛ן הַֽמְחַטֵּ֥א אֹתָ֖הּ יֹאכֲלֶ֑נָּה בְּמָק֤וֹם קָדֹשׁ֙ תֵּֽאָכֵ֔ל בַּחֲצַ֖ר אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃

KJV ²⁰ This is the offering of Aaron and of his sons, which they shall offer unto the LORD in the day when he is anointed; the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a meat offering perpetual, half of it in the morning, and half thereof at night.

VULC ²⁰ Hæc est oblatio Aaron, et filiorum ejus, quam offerre debent Domino in die unctionis suæ. Decimam partem ephi offerent similæ in sacrificio sempiterno, medium ejus mane, et medium ejus vespere :

WLC ²⁰ כֹּ֛ל אֲשֶׁר־ יִגַּ֥ע בִּבְשָׂרָ֖הּ יִקְדָּ֑שׁ וַאֲשֶׁ֨ר יִזֶּ֤ה מִדָּמָהּ֙ עַל־ הַבֶּ֔גֶד אֲשֶׁר֙ יִזֶּ֣ה עָלֶ֔יהָ תְּכַבֵּ֖ס בְּמָק֥וֹם קָדֹֽשׁ׃

KJV ²¹ In a pan it shall be made with oil; and when it is baken, thou shalt bring it in: and the baken pieces of the meat offering shalt thou offer for a sweet savour unto the LORD.

VULC ²¹ quæ in sartagine oleo conspersa frigetur. Offeret autem eam calidam in odorem suavissimum Domino

WLC ²¹ וּכְלִי־ חֶ֛רֶשׂ אֲשֶׁ֥ר תְּבֻשַּׁל־ בּ֖וֹ יִשָּׁבֵ֑ר וְאִם־ בִּכְלִ֤י נְחֹ֙שֶׁת֙ בֻּשָּׁ֔לָה וּמֹרַ֥ק וְשֻׁטַּ֖ף בַּמָּֽיִם׃

KJV ²² And the priest of his sons that is anointed in his stead shall offer it: it is a statute for ever unto the LORD; it shall be wholly burnt.

VULC ²² sacerdos, qui jure patri successerit, et tota cremabitur in altari.

WLC ²² כָּל־ זָכָ֥ר בַּכֹּהֲנִ֖ים יֹאכַ֣ל אֹתָ֑הּ קֹ֥דֶשׁ קָֽדָשִׁ֖ים הִֽוא׃

KJV ²³ For every meat offering for the priest shall be wholly burnt: it shall not be eaten.

VULC ²³ Omne enim sacrificium sacerdotum igne consumetur, nec quisquam comedet ex eo.

WLC ²³ וְכָל־ חַטָּ֡את אֲשֶׁר֩ יוּבָ֨א מִדָּמָ֜הּ אֶל־ אֹ֧הֶל מוֹעֵ֛ד לְכַפֵּ֥ר בַּקֹּ֖דֶשׁ לֹ֣א תֵאָכֵ֑ל בָּאֵ֖שׁ תִּשָּׂרֵֽף׃

KJV ²⁴ And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

VULC ²⁴ Locutus est autem Dominus ad Moysen, dicens :

KJV ²⁵ Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, saying, This is the law of the sin offering: In the place where the burnt offering is killed shall the sin offering be killed before the LORD: it is most holy.

VULC ²⁵ Loquere Aaron et filiis ejus : Ista est lex hostiæ pro peccato : in loco ubi offertur holocaustum, immolabitur coram Domino. Sanctum sanctorum est.

KJV ²⁶ The priest that offereth it for sin shall eat it: in the holy place shall it be eaten, in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation.

VULC ²⁶ Sacerdos, qui offert, comedet eam in loco sancto, in atrio tabernaculi.

KJV ²⁷ Whatsoever shall touch the flesh thereof shall be holy: and when there is sprinkled of the blood thereof upon any garment, thou shalt wash that whereon it was sprinkled in the holy place.

VULC ²⁷ Quidquid tetigerit carnes ejus, sanctificabitur. Si de sanguine illius vestis fuerit aspersa, lavabitur in loco sancto.

KJV ²⁸ But the earthen vessel wherein it is sodden shall be broken: and if it be sodden in a brasen pot, it shall be both scoured, and rinsed in water.

VULC ²⁸ Vas autem fictile, in quo cocta est, confringetur ; quod si vas æneum fuerit, defricabitur, et lavabitur aqua.

KJV ²⁹ All the males among the priests shall eat thereof: it is most holy.

VULC ²⁹ Omnis masculus de genere sacerdotali vescetur de carnibus ejus, quia Sanctum sanctorum est.

KJV ³⁰ And no sin offering, whereof any of the blood is brought into the tabernacle of the congregation to reconcile withal in the holy place, shall be eaten: it shall be burnt in the fire.

VULC ³⁰ Hostia enim quæ cæditur pro peccato, cujus sanguis infertur in tabernaculum testimonii ad expiandum in sanctuario, non comedetur, sed comburetur igni.
