BAN ³ Et le diable lui dit : Si tu es Fils de Dieu, dis à cette pierre qu'elle devienne du pain.

KJV ³ And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.

TR1550 ³ καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ ὁ διάβολος εἰ υἱὸς εἶ τοῦ θεοῦ εἰπὲ τῷ λίθῳ τούτῳ ἵνα γένηται ἄρτος

BAN ⁴ Et Jésus lui répondit : est écrit : L'homme ne vivra pas de pain seulement.

KJV ⁴ And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

BAN ⁵ Et le diable l'ayant élevé, lui montra, en un instant, tous les royaumes de la terre ;

KJV ⁵ And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

TR1550 ⁵ καὶ ἀναγαγὼν αὐτὸν ὁ διάβολος εἰς ὄρος ὑψηλὸν ἔδειξεν αὐτῷ πάσας τὰς βασιλείας τῆς οἰκουμένης ἐν στιγμῇ χρόνου

BAN ⁶ et le diable lui dit : Je te donnerai toute cette puissance et la gloire de ces royaumes ; parce qu'elle m'a été livrée et que je la donne à qui je veux.

KJV ⁶ And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.

BAN ⁷ Si donc tu te prosternes devant moi, elle sera toute à toi.

KJV ⁷ If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.

BAN ¹⁰ Car il est écrit : Il donnera ordre à ton sujet à ses anges de te garder,

TR1550 ¹⁰ γέγραπται γὰρ ὅτι τοῖς ἀγγέλοις αὐτοῦ ἐντελεῖται περὶ σοῦ τοῦ διαφυλάξαι σε

BAN ¹¹ et : Ils te porteront sur leurs mains, de peur que tu ne heurtes ton pied contre une pierre.

KJV ¹¹ And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

TR1550 ¹¹ καὶ ὅτι ἐπὶ χειρῶν ἀροῦσίν σε μήποτε προσκόψῃς πρὸς λίθον τὸν πόδα σου

BAN ¹² Et Jésus répondant lui dit : est dit : Tu ne tenteras point le Seigneur ton Dieu.

KJV ¹² And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

BAN ¹³ Et le diable ayant achevé toute la tentation, se retira de lui jusqu'à une autre occasion.

KJV ¹³ And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.

KJV ¹⁸ The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

BAN ¹⁹ pour publier aux captifs la liberté et aux aveugles le recouvrement de la vue, pour renvoyer libres les opprimés et pour publier l'année favorable du Seigneur.

KJV ¹⁹ To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

BAN ²⁰ Et ayant replié le livre, et l'ayant rendu au serviteur, il s'assit, et les yeux de tous, dans la synagogue, étaient fixés sur lui.

KJV ²⁰ And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

BAN ²¹ Et il commença à leur dire : Aujourd'hui est accomplie cette parole de l'Ecriture, et vous l'entendez.

KJV ²¹ And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

BAN ²² Et tous lui rendaient témoignage, et étaient dans l'étonnement des paroles de la grâce qui sortaient de sa bouche ; et ils disaient : Celui-ci n'est- il pas le fils de Joseph ?

KJV ²² And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph's son?

TR1550 ²² καὶ πάντες ἐμαρτύρουν αὐτῷ καὶ ἐθαύμαζον ἐπὶ τοῖς λόγοις τῆς χάριτος τοῖς ἐκπορευομένοις ἐκ τοῦ στόματος αὐτοῦ καὶ ἔλεγον οὐχ οὗτος ἐστιν ὁ υἱός ἰωσὴφ

BAN ²³ Et il leur dit : Sans doute vous me direz ce proverbe : Médecin, guéris-toi toi-même. Fais aussi ici, dans ta patrie, tout ce que nous avons ouï dire que tu as fait à Capernaüm.

KJV ²³ And he said unto them, Ye will surely say unto me this proverb, Physician, heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in thy country.

TR1550 ²³ καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς πάντως ἐρεῖτέ μοι τὴν παραβολὴν ταύτην ἰατρέ θεράπευσον σεαυτόν ὅσα ἠκούσαμεν γενόμενα ἐν τῇ καπερναούμ, ποίησον καὶ ὧδε ἐν τῇ πατρίδι σου

BAN ²⁴ Mais il dit : En vérité, je vous déclare que nul prophète n'est bien reçu dans sa patrie.

KJV ²⁴ And he said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country.

BAN ²⁵ Mais c'est avec vérité que je vous le dis : Il y avait beaucoup de veuves en Israël, aux jours d'Elie, lorsque le ciel fut fermé trois ans et six mois, tellement qu'il y eut une grande famine par tout le pays ;

KJV ²⁵ But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land;

BAN ²⁶ et Elie ne fut envoyé chez aucune d'elles, si ce n'est à Sarepta de Sidon vers une femme veuve.

KJV ²⁶ But unto none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow.

TR1550 ²⁶ καὶ πρὸς οὐδεμίαν αὐτῶν ἐπέμφθη ἠλίας εἰ μὴ εἰς σάρεπτα τῆς σιδῶνος πρὸς γυναῖκα χήραν

BAN ²⁷ Et il y avait beaucoup de lépreux en Israël, au temps d'Elisée le prophète ; et aucun d'eux ne fut guéri, si ce n'est Naaman, le Syrien.

KJV ²⁷ And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Eliseus the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian.

KJV ²⁹ And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong.

BAN ³³ Et il y avait dans la synagogue un homme ayant un esprit de démon impur ; et il s'écria à haute voix :

KJV ³³ And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice,

TR1550 ³³ καὶ ἐν τῇ συναγωγῇ ἦν ἄνθρωπος ἔχων πνεῦμα δαιμονίου ἀκαθάρτου καὶ ἀνέκραξεν φωνῇ μεγάλῃ

BAN ³⁴ Ah ! qu'y a-t-il entre nous et toi, Jésus Nazarénien ? Es-tu venu pour nous perdre ? Je sais qui tu es : le Saint de Dieu.

KJV ³⁴ Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God.

BAN ³⁵ Et Jésus le réprimanda, disant : Tais-toi, et sors de lui ! Et le démon, après l'avoir jeté au milieu, sortit de lui sans lui avoir fait aucun mal.

KJV ³⁵ And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not.

TR1550 ³⁵ καὶ ἐπετίμησεν αὐτῷ ὁ ἰησοῦς λέγων, φιμώθητι καὶ ἔξελθε ἐξ αὐτοῦ καὶ ῥῖψαν αὐτὸν τὸ δαιμόνιον εἰς τὸ μέσον ἐξῆλθεν ἀπ᾽ αὐτοῦ μηδὲν βλάψαν αὐτόν

BAN ³⁶ Et tous furent dans la stupéfaction, et ils se parlaient entre eux disant : Quelle est cette parole ? Car il commande avec autorité et puissance aux esprits impurs, et ils sortent !

KJV ³⁶ And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.

TR1550 ³⁶ καὶ ἐγένετο θάμβος ἐπὶ πάντας καὶ συνελάλουν πρὸς ἀλλήλους λέγοντες τίς ὁ λόγος οὗτος ὅτι ἐν ἐξουσίᾳ καὶ δυνάμει ἐπιτάσσει τοῖς ἀκαθάρτοις πνεύμασιν καὶ ἐξέρχονται

BAN ³⁷ Et sa renommée se répandait dans tous les lieux de la contrée d'alentour.

KJV ³⁷ And the fame of him went out into every place of the country round about.

TR1550 ³⁷ καὶ ἐξεπορεύετο ἦχος περὶ αὐτοῦ εἰς πάντα τόπον τῆς περιχώρου

BAN ³⁸ Mais Jésus, étant parti de la synagogue, entra dans la maison de Simon ; or la belle-mère de Simon était retenue par une forte fièvre ; et ils le prièrent à son sujet.

KJV ³⁸ And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon's house. And Simon's wife's mother was taken with a great fever; and they besought him for her.

BAN ³⁹ Et s'étant penché sur elle, il réprimanda la fièvre, qui la quitta. Et s'étant aussitôt levée, elle les servait.

KJV ³⁹ And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them.

TR1550 ³⁹ καὶ ἐπιστὰς ἐπάνω αὐτῆς ἐπετίμησεν τῷ πυρετῷ καὶ ἀφῆκεν αὐτήν παραχρῆμα δὲ ἀναστᾶσα διηκόνει αὐτοῖς

BAN ⁴⁰ Or comme le soleil se couchait, tous ceux qui avaient des malades, atteints de diverses maladies, les amenèrent auprès de lui ; et lui, imposant les mains à chacun d'eux, les guérissait.

KJV ⁴⁰ Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.

TR1550 ⁴⁰ δύνοντος δὲ τοῦ ἡλίου πάντες ὅσοι εἶχον ἀσθενοῦντας νόσοις ποικίλαις ἤγαγον αὐτοὺς πρὸς αὐτόν ὁ δὲ ἑνὶ ἑκάστῳ αὐτῶν τὰς χεῖρας ἐπιθεὶς, ἐθεράπευσεν αὐτούς

BAN ⁴¹ Et des démons aussi sortaient de plusieurs, criant et disant : Tu es le Fils de Dieu ! Et, les censurant, il ne leur permettait pas de parler, parce qu'ils savaient qu'il était le Christ.

KJV ⁴¹ And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ.

BAN ⁴² Mais, quand le jour eut paru, étant sorti, il s'en alla dans un lieu désert. Et les foules le cherchaient ; et elles vinrent jusqu'à lui ; et elles le retenaient, pour qu'il ne s'en allât pas loin d'elles.

KJV ⁴² And when it was day, he departed and went into a desert place: and the people sought him, and came unto him, and stayed him, that he should not depart from them.

BAN ⁴³ Mais il leur dit : Il faut que j'annonce aussi aux autres villes la bonne nouvelle du royaume de Dieu, car c'est pour cela que j'ai été envoyé.

KJV ⁴³ And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.

TR1550 ⁴³ ὁ δὲ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτοὺς ὅτι καὶ ταῖς ἑτέραις πόλεσιν εὐαγγελίσασθαί με δεῖ τὴν βασιλείαν τοῦ θεοῦ ὅτι εἲς τοῦτο ἀπεστάλμαι

BAN ⁴⁴ Et il prêchait dans les synagogues de la Galilée.

KJV ⁴⁴ And he preached in the synagogues of Galilee.
