BCC ⁴ comment il entra dans la maison de Dieu, prit les pains de proposition, en mangea et en donna à ceux qui étaient avec lui, alors qu'il n'est permis d'en manger qu'aux prêtres seuls ? "

KJV ⁴ How he went into the house of God, and did take and eat the shewbread, and gave also to them that were with him; which it is not lawful to eat but for the priests alone?

BCC ⁵ Et il leur disait : "le Fils de l'homme est maître du sabbat."

KJV ⁵ And he said unto them, That the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

BCC ⁶ Il arriva, un autre jour de sabbat, que Jésus entra dans la synagogue, et il enseignait. Et il se trouvait là un homme dont la main droite était sèche.

KJV ⁶ And it came to pass also on another sabbath, that he entered into the synagogue and taught: and there was a man whose right hand was withered.

BCC ⁷ Or, les scribes et les Pharisiens l'épiaient (pour voir) s'il guérissait le jour du sabbat, afin de trouver à l'accuser.

KJV ⁷ And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him.

BCC ⁸ Mais lui connaissait leurs pensées, et il dit à l'homme qui avait la main sèche : "lève-toi, et tiens-toi debout au milieu !" Et s'étant levé, il se tint debout.

KJV ⁸ But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth.

BCC ⁹ Et Jésus leur dit : "Je vous le demande, est -il permis, le jour du sabbat, de faire du bien ou de faire du mal, de sauver une vie ou de l'ôter ?"

KJV ⁹ Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?

BCC ¹⁷ Etant descendu avec eux, il s'arrêta en un lieu en forme de plaine, ainsi qu'une foule nombreuse de ses disciples et une grande multitude de peuple de toute la Judée, de Jérusalem et du littoral de Tyr et de Sidon,

KJV ²¹ Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh.

BCC ²² Heureux serez-vous, lorsque les hommes vous haïront, lorsqu'ils vous excommunieront et insulteront, et proscriront votre nom comme mauvais à cause du Fils de l'homme.

KJV ²² Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.

BCC ³⁰ Donne à quiconque te demande, et à qui t'enlève ce qui est à toi, ne réclame point.

KJV ³² For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.

BCC ³³ Et si vous faites du bien à ceux qui vous font du bien, quel gré vous en saura-t-on ? Les pécheurs aussi en font autant.

KJV ³³ And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.

BCC ³⁴ Et si vous prêtez à ceux de qui vous espérez recevoir, quel gré vous en saura-t-on ? Des pécheurs aussi prêtent à des pécheurs, afin de recevoir l'équivalent.

KJV ³⁴ And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.

BCC ³⁵ Mais aimez vos ennemis, faites du bien et prêtez sans rien espérer en retour ; et votre récompense sera grande, et vous serez les fils du Très-Haut, lui qui est bon pour les ingrats et les méchants.

BCC ⁴⁰ Il n'y a pas de disciple au-dessus du maître ; mais tout(disciple), son instruction achevée, sera comme son maître.

BCC ⁴¹ Pourquoi regardes-tu la paille qui est dans l'oeil de ton frère, et ne remarques-tu pas la poutre qui est dans ton oeil à toi ?

KJV ⁴¹ And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

BCC ⁴² Ou comment peux-tu dire à ton frère : "frère, laisse-moi ôter la paille qui est dans ton oeil, " toi qui ne vois pas la poutre qui est dans ton oeil ? Hypocrite, ôte d'abord la poutre de ton oeil, et alors tu verras à ôter la paille qui est dans l'oeil de ton frère.

KJV ⁴² Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye.

BCC ⁴³ En effet, il n'y a pas de bon arbre qui donne de mauvais fruits, ni non plus de mauvais arbre qui donne de bons fruits ;

KJV ⁴³ For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

BCC ⁴⁴ car chaque arbre se reconnaît à son propre fruit. On ne cueille pas des figues sur les épines ; on ne ramasse pas de raisin sur les ronces.

KJV ⁴⁴ For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.

BCC ⁴⁵ L'homme bon sort le bien du trésor de bonté de son coeur ; et, du (trésor) de sa malice, l'homme mauvais sort le mal ; car sa bouche parle du trop-plein du coeur.

KJV ⁴⁵ A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

KJV ⁴⁸ He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.
